Skip the line Louvre tour

Reviewed by: Wally, 2019/06/19

Very good experience! The Louvre is huge and there is a ton to see. With this tour you are really only getting highlights since there are about 35000 pieces to see. The amount of people there are nuts! The tour guide was very good and informative. If I had to offer one suggestion...(this is a personal preference and some people might have a different preference) ...spend as much time as possible looking at the pieces as opposed to the history of the Louvre. Some history is good but I felt like it was a little too much since I was interested a lot more than what was inside the building as opposed to the building itself. That being said, the price of the tour is well worth the money just to skip the line alone. Especially if you dont have a lot of time.

Amazing visit!

Very good service and knowledgeable guide. It was especially very convenient to follow him around because the museum is sooo big, I would have got lost for sure!
I loved hearing about French art and history and we were able to see the museum's main highlights (but be prepared, Mona Lisa is ridiculously small). Other than that, the tour was as good as my expectations. I already want to go back to see more.
Also at the moment there is a big golden masterpiece under the pyramid, it's very beautiful :)

The highlights of the louvre

An informed visit, but sadly the guides microphone was inefficient.
Interesting to hear the history of the Louvre.
It is so large that it needs several visits to enjoy it properly

  • Great to see it "in the flesh"!!
