The meeting place was listed as the Otium counter next to the welcome bar, so I searched around for the counter but couldn't find it. When I asked a lady standing in front of what seemed to be the welcome bar, she shouted, "Otium Otium!" Someone mentioned that Otium wasn't there, so I should wait a bit. I waited for a long time. Growing impatient, I shouted "Otium Otium" myself and finally found the person in charge.

The person in charge said that the car had just left, so I needed to wait a little longer. During that time, I was approached multiple times by taxi drivers. I was told it would be another 30 minutes, but it ended up being about an hour. Finally, it seemed the car had arrived, and when I got in, there was a family of seven from Bolivia who greeted me with "Ni hao!" (Hello!).

この家族の３人の子供達が可愛くてホテルまで楽しくお喋りする。こんな素敵な家族に出会えたんだから、暑い中待ったかいあったかも。

The vehicle was a shared ride for about ten people, and it was used by non-Japanese as well. It was a clean car with well-functioning air conditioning, making it comfortable.

During our sightseeing, we also used local buses, but they weren't suitable for carrying suitcases. Therefore, it was a good decision to use charter services for our round trips between the airport and the hotel.

I was pleased that our return reservation was on time, and the driver arrived to pick us up as scheduled.

Upon arriving at the pickup point, I was told to wait for about 15 minutes, but there was no sign of the vehicle coming. When I asked the staff at the pickup point, I was informed that the wait time would be extended by another 15 to 20 minutes. Eventually, I was given the puzzling suggestion that "you will have to wait here for another 20 minutes for the private transfer, but if you take this shared ride now, you will arrive in 15 minutes."

There were about three or four staff members at the pickup point, but none of them apologized and they seemed to be joking around, which didn't leave me feeling very good. Despite the fact that there was no traffic congestion or bad weather, I was finally able to get into the car after an hour of waiting. Since I arrived at the airport after 10 PM, I didn't get to the hotel and to bed until after midnight. I had booked a whirlwind tour for the next day, so I ended up with just over 4 hours of sleep.
