Early Access Sistine Chapel Tour with St Peter's Basilica and Vatican Tombs
Overall Rating
4.00Good value
Reviewed by: Sandra, 2015/06/29The early hour to meet our guide was a little intimidating for our group upon our first full day in Rome. We needed to negotiate the subway system very early and were a little unsure of how to proceed and how much time to allot to get to our destination. However, it all worked well. The location is not too easy to find, but we managed. Our guide, Isabella, was very good. She led us through the Vatican Museum and pointed out some of the the exhibits as we headed to the Sistine Chapel. Her pre-entry explanation for the Sistine Chapel was very good. I would have preferred more time in the museum, or at least, an opportunity to go back in after the basilica tour was complete, so that we could view more. The beauty of St. Peter's and all of the artwork are magnificent and need more time to be fully appreciated. The use of the VOX machines is a wonderful improvement for all tours.
