Lake Toya Silo Observatory (Sightseeing: 25 minutes)
Located on a hill on the west bank of Lake Toya, the Silo Observatory offers a panoramic view of the sparkling blue lake, including Nakajima Island, Mount Usu, and Showa Shinzan.
Enjoy a lunch in the hot spring town by the lakeside. After lunch, you can freely explore the lakeside area. There are free foot baths and hand baths to warm you up in the winter. If you wish to use the foot baths or hand baths, it is recommended to bring a towel.
This volcano, designated as a national special natural monument, is known as the "Miracle Mountain" because it suddenly rose from a flat wheat field due to an earthquake and formed the current Showa Shinzan about two years later. It still emits smoke, showcasing the grandeur and mystery of nature.
This is the largest hot spring source in Noboribetsu, one of Hokkaido's most famous hot spring areas. The valley, with a diameter of 450 meters, has 15 different hot springs, with about 3,000 liters of hot water gushing out every minute. Witness the powerful sight up close.
