　シバタさんの巧妙なお話で、楽しい1日を過ごすことが出来ました。
天候が心配だったのですが、快晴に恵まれ、特に「ハワイのグランドキャニオン」の異名を持つワイメア渓谷は一見の価値がありました。オアフ島では感じられないハワイの荒々しい大自然を経験できました。
道路が完成していたので、カララウ展望台は、プウオキラ展望台にも車で行けました。見る場所、時間、天候によって景観を変える渓谷は素晴らしいです。
　重なり合っている多数のミドリウミガメや絶滅危惧種のハワイアン・モンクシールも見ることが出来ました。

とても楽しい冒険でした！もっとゆっくりで舗装された道が多いと思っていましたが、実際には少しテクニカルな部分もある良いサイドバイサイドのトレイルで、スピード感もありました。私たちは大好きでした！

Such a fun adventure! I was expecting it to be much more slow, on more paved roads, but it was an actual good side-by-side trail with some mildly technical spots and a good amount of speed. We loved it!

Great trip on the river! The captain was very informative on the local culture. The crew performed a dance at the grotto and also performed several dances on the way back on the boat. A good value.

The boat were large and covered. The bride was smooth and pretty. Interesting commentary. Good music. Fun hula dancer. The fern grotto was beautiful especially in the rain. Nice walk, not hard. All in all. An outstanding trip for a rainy days. Must be great in the sun also.

Even though it was raining it was still fun and beautiful scenery. Umbrellas were provided which was so nice.

The Fern Grotto tour was a great precursor to the Smith Family Luau. The trek was interesting, and we learned some historical facts, and saw some beautiful scenery. The hula dancing was fun (to watch). It was well worth the time

It is what it claims. You sit and ride up the river to a short hike to a natural feature where water drips over cavernous undercut. On tour they explained a few things but the acoustics where I sat weren't great to understand everything. Between that they sang some Hawaiian songs. All fine. Just wouldn't expect too much.

先週、私たち夫婦は雨の合間を縫ってATVツアーに参加しました。それが特別な体験になったと思います。水たまりをたくさん通り抜けたからです。ツアーガイドはとても親切で知識が豊富でした。彼らはツアーを楽しく、安全に進行してくれました。キプランチの歴史や、そこで撮影された多くの映画やテレビ番組についての話はとても興味深かったです。滝も素晴らしかったですが、最近の雨の影響で下のプールは泥だらけでした。このツアーを強くお勧めします。私たちが70代前半でも、非常に快適で安全なカワサキのATVで、最も荒れた地形でも簡単に運転できました！

My husband and I took the ATV tour between rain storms last week. I think that made it extra special because of all the water we drove through. Our tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. They kept the tour fun and safe for all. The history behind Kipu Ranch and the many movies and TV shows filmed there was very interesting. The waterfall was very nice even though the pool below was muddy from all of the recent rain. I would highly recommend this tour. Even in our early 70's, we easily drove even the roughest terrain in the very comfortable and save Kawasaki ATVs!

While in Kauai with family we decided to try the Smith Family Fern Grotto River Cruise, which was an awesome choice of entertainment. We love history and learning about places we visit, so we were pleasantly surprised when the beginning of the cruise was a full narration of the interesting history and geography of the Waimea River. The crew led us to the breathtaking Fern Grotto and enhanced the experience with beautiful music. On the way back to the dock we were entertained with music and dancing, which was very fun. The trip ended much too soon! The cost was very reasonable. We would highly recommend this trip!

It was okay. It’s very low key and some little film related facts about the region and hula show on journey back. Lasted about 80 minutes.

Fun activity for families. The tour operator does a good job of talking about the history of the area. Also, very scenic. Very worthwhile. Great job!

結婚して50年、金婚のお祝いに50年前に訪問したシダの洞窟を再び訪問しました。記憶があり薄れていましたが、再びその頃の風景が甦ってきました。

私たちはこの遠足で素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。スタッフは親切で助けてくれました。ボートでの音楽とスタッフとの交流が大好きでした。ファーン・グロットとその歴史について語られた話は素晴らしかったです！！この素晴らしい体験について他の人にも必ず伝えます。

We had a wonderful time on the excursion. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the music and interaction with the staff on the boat. The Fern Grotto and the story told of the history was great!! I will definitely tell others about this great experience.

1978年にフェルン・グロットを最後に訪れました。以前のように洞窟に入れなかったことにとても失望しました。歩道が壊れていて、盛り上がっていました。歩くのが難しく、危険でした。

Last visited fern grotto in 1978. So disappointed we couldn’t walk up into cave as before. Sidewalks were broken and heaving up. Difficult to walk. Dangerous

Enjoyed the music and dancing as well as the informative narration. The natural beauty of the river and grotto is spectacular. Walking through the Rain Forest area gave you a sense of peace.

Beautiful trip in a beautiful setting with great entertainment that included comedy, music and traditional dancing.

The boat ride along the river offered beautiful views of lush tropical landscapes, and the live Hawaiian music and hula added an authentic, festive touch.

フェルン・グロットの旅行は、始まりから終わりまで素晴らしい体験でした。まず、価格が適正です！カウアイ島には高額なアクティビティがたくさんありますが、1人35ドルの料金はそれだけの価値があると思いました。ボートは広くて非常に安定しており（波もありません！！）、上は覆われているので（雨も日焼けもなし）、快適でした。ただし、側面は完全に開いていて、風とわずかなそよ風を楽しむことができました。キャプテンは、グロットに向かう途中でその地域に関する興味深い事実を交えた素敵なナレーションをしてくれました。帰りの旅では、歌を伴ったフラショーがありました。ハリウッドのプロダクションというよりは家族向けのショーのようで、私たちにはそれが良かったです。車椅子の女性や、歩行器を使っている方、杖をついている方への配慮とサポートには驚かされました。グロットに到着すると、ボートのクルーがコンクリートの道を案内してくれます。そして、ハワイアン・ウェディング・ソングを歌ってくれました。これは私にとって意味深いもので、約40年前に私の弟がフェルン・グロットで結婚したからです。グロットエリアにはトイレがありましたが、食べ物や飲み物は提供されていません。ツアーは合計で2時間続きました。駐車場も十分にありました。

The Fern Grotto trip was a lovely experience from beginning to end. First: the price is right! There are so many expensive things to do on Kauai, but we thought the $35 per person fee was worth it. The boat is wide and very stable (no waves!!) and is covered overtop (no rain and no sunburn). However the sides are completely open and we enjoyed the air and very slight breeze. The captain gave nice narration on the way to the grotto with interesting facts about the area. On the trip back, there was a hula show with singing. It was more like a family show than a Hollywood production which was fine with us. I was amazed at the care and assistance provided to a lady in a wheelchair, several who had walkers, and some with canes. Once arriving at the Grotto, the boat crew guides you on a cement path to the viewing area. Then they sing the Hawaiian Wedding Song which was nice. My younger brother was married at the Fern Grotto about 40 years ago, so that was meaningful to me. There were restrooms at the Grotto area. No food or drink is served. Tour lasted a total of 2 hours. Plenty of parking.

とにもかくにも日本語での詳細な説明や楽しいトークが安心でよかったです
初めてのカウアイ島だったので　カウアイ気質や自然　歴史などたくさん聞けて参考になり　かなりカウアイ島の事が分かったような気がします。　できれば到着した早い段階に　このツアーに参加していれば　残りの時間ももっと有意義に過ごせたんじゃないかと　少し後悔しました。　　ワイメア渓谷は圧巻の景色でした。　ミニグランドキャニオンというのも納得です。　カオリさんと行く街並み散策や地元のお店探訪はこのツアーならではのおすすめポイントかも

これは私たちと3歳の子供にとって完璧な選択でした。ボートは子供に優しく、ファーン・グロットには舗装された道を少し歩くだけで簡単にアクセスできます。小さな子供や移動に制限のある方々にとって、川上の何かを見る素晴らしい機会です。

This was the perfect fit for us and our 3 year old. The boat is kid friendly and the fern grotto is easily accessible with a short walk on a paved path. Great opportunity to see something up river for those with small children or any mobility limitations.

やや高価ではありましたが、とても思い出に残る体験でした。使用されているATVは、時には厳しい地形を走破できる非常に優れたマシンです。ガイドの方々は素晴らしく、非常に知識が豊富でした。とてもプロフェッショナルで、安全第一のグループです。3時間のライド時間も十分でした。

Although somewhat costly, it was a very memorable experience. The ATV they use are very capable machines going through some rough at times terrain. Our guides were lovely and very knowledgeable. Very professional and safety first group. Good amount of time - 3 hours ride time.
