It was definitely worth the time to visit the Fern Grotto. It was enjoyable and we even got a bit of Hawaiian history!

ガイドとツアーは素晴らしかったですが、ランチのためにショッピングモールに降ろされたのは非常に残念でした。地元の体験を得るためにもっとお金を払ってもよかったです。

Guide and tour was excellent however being dropped at a mall for lunch was extremely disappointing. I would have paid more to get a local experience

ファーングロットは素晴らしい川の旅でした。ファーングロットはまるで熱帯雨林のようで、全体の体験は素晴らしかったです。スタッフはとても知識が豊富で、ボートクルーズでは帰り道ずっと歌を歌い、フラを教えてくれました。とても興味深かったです。

Fern grotto was a lovely trip down the river ending up at fern grotto was like a rain forest the whole experience was great the people were very knowledgeable and the boat cruise ack they sang all the way back and taught us to hula which was interesting

ワイメアキャニオンを見たとき、私たちは感動しました。これまでで最も忘れられない光景で、グランドキャニオンも見たことがあります。ツアーパッケージ自体は素晴らしく、ドライバーは素晴らしい方でしたが、名前を忘れてしまいました（ごめんなさい）。彼は全員のニーズが満たされるように気を配ってくれました。ホテルのすぐ前でピックアップしてもらえたのが嬉しかったです。ただ、ファーン・グロットが写真のように素敵であればよかったのですが。私たちが楽しんだもう一つの特典は、短いフラのパフォーマンスでした。

We were in Awe when we saw Waimea Canyon, most unforgettable sight so far and for the record we have seen Grand Canyon as well. the tour package itself is great, our driver is awesome forgot his name already ( sorry) he makes sure that each and everyone needs are met. Love the fact that we were picked up right in front of our hotel. I just wished tho that the Fern Grotto is as nice as in the pictureExtra treat that we also enjoy is the short hula performance...

日本語でのツアーが参加者人数不足のため欠旅。急遽、探して申し込んだのが、このツアーでした。私以外、英語圏の参加者でした。一人参加の方も数名いました。このツアーの売りにしている、快適なバス⇒そのとおりでした。エアコン完備で、快適そのものでした。ただ、英語力ある程度ないと、このツアーを楽しむことが無理かと思います。あと、参加料にチップ含まれてないので、日本人にはその点がちょっと・・・って思われるかも。それ以外は、全体的な旅行の時間配分がしっかりしており、申し分ないツアーです。

素晴らしいツアーでしたが、進行状況には限りがありました。フェルン・グロットへのリバークルーズは、河川の水位が高いためキャンセルされました。人々が運転手にキャンセルされたクルーズの返金について尋ねたところ、彼は「会社に電話して部分的な返金を求めることができますが、実現しない場合は期待しないでください」といったような返答をしました。これは、運転手がこの状況に対処する方法について適切に情報を得ていなかったことを示していると思います。それ以外は素晴らしい運転手で、たくさんの情報を持っていました。彼とカジュアルな環境で話すのは楽しかったでしょう。

Great tour as far as it went. The river cruise to Fern Grotto was cancelled due to high river levels. When people asked the driver about reimbursement for the cancelled cruise, he responded with some thing like, "You can phone the company and ask for a partial reimbursement, but don't get your hopes up if it doesn't happen." I think it indicates that the driver just wasn't properly informed about how to deal with the situation, Great driver otherwise, and full of lots of info. It would have been fun to talk with him in an informal setting.

シダの洞窟観光遊覧船＜半日／英語ガイド＞
片道20分の船中で、フラダンスや参加型のダンスがあり、楽しめます。現地も滞在30-40分でしょうか。スピリチュアルな雰囲気で良かったです。
午前9:30のツアーに参加し、終わったらランチでちょうどいい時間配分でした。

この旅行はひどく、高額で、退屈でした。広告が誇張されていました。私たちはバスを待って時間通りにいましたが、バスは1時間30分遅れて到着しました。時間通りに来るようにと3回も電話してきたのに、彼ら自身が遅れていました！ガイドは非常に悪かったです。彼が教えてくれたのは観光名所の名前だけで、歴史については何も言いませんでした。バスは大きかったですが、マイクは動きませんでした。彼がするべきだったのは、バッテリーを交換することだけでしたが、停車中でさえもそれをする時間を取らず、他の人と話していました。私たちは自分の車でこの旅行をして、もっと自由に時間を使えたでしょう！この旅行にお金と時間を無駄にしないでください！！！自分で探検して、時間をかけてください！！！！！！

This trip was terrible, expensive, and boring. With false advertisement. We were on time waiting for the bus, but it came an hour and thirty minutes later. It was ridiculous they called 3 times saying to be on time, but they were late themselves! Our guide was very bad. All he told us was the name of the attraction not the history. The bus was huge but his mic didn't work. All he had to do was change the batteries but even at a stop he didn't take the time to change them. He just was talking with other people. We could have done this with our own car and taken our time! PLEASE don't waste your money and time on this trip!!! Explore your self and take your time!!!!!!!!!

これは非常に懐かしい体験でした。シンプルで楽しく、素敵な人々、昔ながらのホスピタリティがありました。川は日差しが強く、カヤックのオプションはお勧めしません…途中に興味深い植物があまりありませんでした。ボートライドでのフラとハワイアンミュージックは楽しかったです。ファーン・グロットは1992年に壊滅的な被害を受け、以前の栄光の影となっています。ガイドは地元の情報を面白いプレゼンテーションで提供してくれました。このツアーにはおばあちゃんとおじいちゃん、または非常に小さな子供を連れて行くのが良いでしょう。

This was a very throw back to the past type of experience. Simple fun, nice people, old fashioned hospitality. The river is in full sun, would not recommend kayak option..not enough interesting flora along the way. Hula and Hawaiian music on the boat ride fun. Fern Grotto was devastated in 1992 and a shadow of it's former glory. Guide gave good local information in an entertaining sort of presentation. I'd take grandma and grandpa or very young kids on this tour.

ツアーを楽しみましたが、ドライバーが音楽ビデオやプレイリストの上で歌っているのが気になりました。私たちのグループの誰もそれを楽しんでおらず、地元の解説や島の歴史、または録音されたアーティストの声を聞きたかったです。渓谷の景色、ボートライド、そしてシダの洞窟は美しく素晴らしかったです。

We enjoyed the tour, however it was distracting to have the driver singing over the music video and playlist. No one in our group enjoyed that at all and would have rather heard local commentary, island history, or just the recorded artist's voice.
The canyon scenery, boat ride, and fern grotto were beautiful and amazing.

帰りの船の中で、みんなでフラダンスなど、フレンドリーでよかったです。コストパフォーマンス抜群ですね。

1947年から続くハワイ観光の伝統を見逃す人がいるでしょうか？！スミスファミリーは素晴らしかったです。彼らはとても親切でフレンドリーでした。私たちはその日の最初のボートに乗ることができ、小さなグループでラッキーでした。朝は涼しく、とても快適でした。ツアーが始まるのを待っている間、船上の才能あるトリオのミュージシャンたちがリクエストを受け付け、ジョークを言ったり、乗客と交流したりしていました。川に出ると、キャプテンが途中の見どころについて説明してくれ、スタンドアップパドルボーダーやカヤッカーたちが静かな川を楽しんでいるのを見ました。美しいフラのデモンストレーション、ネイティブミュージック、即興のフラレッスンを楽しむことができました！グロットまでの短い散歩の後、私たちの「ガイド」がグロットの歴史や民話について説明してくれ、その後、ハワイのウェディングソングを歌ってくれました。また行くのが楽しみです！

Who could pass up a tradition of Hawaiian tourism that has been in operation since 1947?! The Smith family was awesome. They were very friendly and kind. We were fortunate to be on the first boat of the day and in a small group. The morning was cool yet very comfortable. While we waited for our tour to start, the on-board talented trio of musicians were taking requests, joking and visiting with the passengers. Once on the river, the captain gave us an overview of the points of interests along the way as we passed stand-up-paddle boarders and kayakers enjoying the quiet river too. We were treated to a beautiful hula demonstration, native music and an improv hula lesson! After a short walk to the grotto, our "guide" explained some of the history and folk lore about the grotto, afterwards, they sang the Hawaiian Wedding song to us. It would be fun to go back again!

シダの洞窟前で、ハワイアンウェディングの歌と、厳かなフラダンスを
見る事が出来ました。そして、帰りの舟の中では　ウクレレや日本人が５名いたので日本の歌のサービス、フラダンスを踊ってくれたのです、最後は全員にフラのレッスン、みんなで狭い舟中で踊りました。習った曲だった私はノリノリ！満足！のツアーでした。

とても楽しく、ためになりました。スタッフはとても親切で、子供に優しい冒険でした。

It was lots of fun and informative. The staff was really nice and it was a very kid friendly adventure

これは、川を上り下りする簡単で負担の少ないツアーを求める方にとって素晴らしいツアーです。ただ、1週間のハイキングや冒険の後に、たくさんの人と一緒に観光地を見るのはあまり楽しめませんでした。その前にガーデンツアーに参加していたので、特にそう感じました。私は、グロットに行く唯一の方法だと思っていたので、大きなグループでシダを見て急いで写真を撮るのが好きではありませんでした。同じ会社からカヤックをレンタルするオプションがあったことを知っていればよかったと思います。そちらの方が私たちのスタイルに合っていたと思います。それ以外は、スタッフが親切で、ツアーは情報豊かで、乗船中の音楽エンターテイメントも良かったです。主に年配の方や保守的な観光客に適しています。

This is a great tour for those that want an easy, non-strenuous ride up and back on the river. I just did not enjoy being packed in with that many people to see the attraction after hiking and adventuring all week and then going on a garden tour directly before this one. I thought it was the only way to get to the grotto, and didn't like being herded in a huge group to see the ferns and hurry and take a photo. We really wished we knew that renting kayaks from the same company was an option because that looked way more our style. Aside from that, the staff was nice and gave an informative tour and musical entertainment for the ride. Best suited for older or more conservative tourists.

川のクルーズをとても楽しみました。伝統的なダンサーや音楽を見ることができて良かったですし、洞窟も見る価値がありました。

場所は非常に見つけにくかったです。価格は適正でした。エンターテイナーの男性は少し古臭い感じでした。もっと期待していました。

The location was very hard to find. Price was fair. The man entertaining was kinda corny. I was expecting more.

Four of us thoroughly enjoyed the river cruise to fern grotto and Smith Family Luau experience afterwards. We had researched luaus on the Hawaiian Islands, and I am convinced we found the ideal one. Loved the gardens and cultural dance show!

Such a great experience- travel up the Wailua River, learn about history (Hawaiian and movie), visit the beautiful fern grotto, and learn the hula on your boat ride back to the dock. Easygoing and enchanting, photographic and peaceful.

On a lovely sunny morning the cruise up the Wailua river to the Fern Grotto was a lovely experience. The entertainment was delightful and all staff friendly and helpful. Explanations about the history and nature were good.
