ホノルルからリフエ空港に到着した際、一緒に乗った夫のスーツケースだけがロストバゲッジ(搭乗した機体よりあとの機体で運ばれた模様)になってしまったのですが、素早く係員に事情を話してくれ、ホテルまで荷物を届けてもらう手続きができました。(自分達の仕事がこれ以上遅れると困るという理由だったようですが…
とは言え、)到着した際も、貝のネックレスを首にかけてくれ、歓迎を示してくれ、感じが良かったです。

カウアイ島の北のリゾート、プリンスヴィルからリフエ空港までの送迎をお願いしました。
当初の予約では、宿泊場所のプリンスヴィルのパリ・ケ・クア地区からお願いしたのですが、現地ドライバーから指定区域外ということで一度はキャンセルされてしまったのですが、柔軟に対応していただき、隣の地区プリンスヴィルリゾート指定で再予約でき、当日は安心して空港へ向かうことができました。
迎えに来ていただいた時間もぴったりで、広くて快適なバンを貸切状態でした。それもまた思い出深いです。
私たちのようにレンタカー無しの離島の旅はなかなか苦労します。行きはUber、帰りはこちらのシャトル利用で無事行き来できました。
カウアイ島プリンスヴィルは自然が美しく見応えがあり、おかげさまで良い旅になりました。

This was a good experience all the way around! Ordering tickets was easy through Veltra. Check in was seamless.
The 10 min tram ride around the beautiful grounds was just long enough to give an overview of the area but not so long that a 3 year old would get bored. They allowed time before dinner to walk around and get the wiggles out. The food was good and they even marked the gluten free dishes. There was another break before the show to run around and use the restrooms (even had a golf cart to transport there & back). The acts were exciting enough, and short enough to keep the toddler entertained and the fire dancer was great! Only drawbacks: cell service almost non-existent (hard to connect with late arrivers), lots of waiting to get in because of the photo line-maybe do it after tram ride).

This adventure was all that we read on-line....and more!! We came into Lihue on a cruise and chose to do the tubing adventure. Our guides, BJ and Poncho, made this experience even better....comical, informative, safe and most of all, fun!! Service while checking in was fast and friendly. During the ride up to the start of the tubing on the irrigation ditch, BJ provided insite into the history of the sugar plantation and creation of the ditch, pointed out areas of interest. We stopped for photo opp and then into the water on our tubes. This was a great experience, fun traveling through the tunnels and never felt unsafe. Our group loved this!!

My 5 year old and I did this adventure and had sooooo much fun!!! The tour guides were so nice especially to my daughter. They let her go up front and one made her a fishing pole out of a leaf during lunch. I would definitely do this again with my family. If you’re bringing a camera or GoPro make sure it has a tie on it to your wrist or clothing and a water proof case. We had the best time together!!! Highly recommend.

A warm rain fell, off and on during our float up the river, but since we were going to get wet anyhow, it didn't matter. Our guides, Web and Dan, were very attentive and funny. And knowledgeable about what we were seeing along the way.
One thing that was different from our expectation, but didn't matter too much, was that since the road past Hanalei is closed indefinitely due to a storm, the guides had to park and load things in different spots than normal, which added to the walk to the beach.
I would recommend this trip to anyone who likes fun flatwater kayaking, and great snorkeling on the north coast of Kaua'i.

Our whole party of six was pleasantly surprised by the Smith's Family Garden Luau. We have been to other luaus and this rates as the best so far. The grounds are beautiful! The food and service was excellent! The staff were very friendly. The dinner entertainment was nice and the after dinner show was very good and informative of Hawaiian cultural history.

Thanks for your nice review. You were the beneficiary of our "dream team" , i.e. Web and Dan who also guide our all day sea kayak tour along Na Pali coast during the summer.
Thanks for warning others that, due to last years flood, has forced us to take a 1/4 mile walk along beautiful Hanale Bay.
Sometime in the next few months we are told that the road to the river mouth, where we generally launch, will be open once again.d
