カウアイ島歴10年長の女性ガイドさん、知識経験も豊富で喋りもなめらか英語はネイティブ運転はプロ並み。霧で景色が見えなかった展望台にわざわざ時間を置いて戻ってくれる心遣い。こちらの要望も全て受け入れ親切に対応してくれとても楽しい旅となりました。カウアイ島万歳！

美しい会場、ダンス、音楽、そしてストーリーテリング。すべてのパフォーマーが非常に才能にあふれていました。ショーを楽しみました - カウアイでの最後の夜を過ごす素晴らしい方法でした。

Beautiful venue, dancing, music, and storytelling. All the performers were very talented. We enjoyed the show - it was a great way to spend our last evening in Kauai.

We have been to several luaus on different islands. The total experience here from start to finish was excellent. The grounds are beautiful with a lot of great photo opportunities and the food was surprisingly delicious! The drinks were tasty and they kept them coming. The show was not only entertaining with traditional components but had a flare of different cultures that really added to the experience! Absolutely a must when choosing which luau to attend. I was worried when the price was significantly more affordable but wow was I ever so happy with my choice. Would definitely recommend!!

ハワイの歴史を解説していただきながら、北部を除く全島の主だったスポットに連れて行ってもらいました。このツアーに参加できて、とっても満足できました。また行きたいです。

レイの挨拶があることは知っていましたが、ダンが果樹のレイを腕いっぱいに持って私たちの名前を掲げているのを見るのはやっぱりワクワクしました。ダンも私たちと同じくらいカウアイにいることを楽しんでいて、1歳の孫がレイを欲しがっているかどうかをとても気を使って確認してくれました（ママがもらいました）。そして、空港のカウアイのサインの下で家族写真を撮ることも快く引き受けてくれました。

果樹のレイで島に歓迎されることを強くお勧めします。靴を脱いで、傘のドリンクを持って、できるだけ早くビーチに駆け出したくなりました！

Even though I knew the lei greeting was going to happen-it was still exciting to see our name being held up by Dan with an arm full of orchard lei's. Dan was as excited as we were to be in Kauai, he was super careful in checking to see if our 1-year old grandson wanted his lei (Mom got it) and even graciously took our family picture under the Kauai sign at the airport.

I highly recommend a welcome onto the island with an orchard lei. It made me want to kick my shoes off, grab an umbrella drink and run to the beach as fast as I could!

全体的にツアーを楽しみましたが、ワイメアキャニオン周辺での時間がもう少し、あと1、2カ所の停留所があればよかったと思います。ツアーはカウアイ島のいくつかの異なるスポットを巡りますが、本当のハイライトはキャニオンです。写真を撮るための機会が少ないのは残念です。ツアーは時間通りにピックアップとドロップオフを行い、ガイドのロザリオが島やその歴史について少し教えてくれたのが良かったです。提供されたランチは予想以上に良かったです。もし再度チャンスがあれば、ワイメアキャニオン自体に車で行って独自に探索したいです。再びツアーを取る必要があるなら、全体的に良かったと思ったので、このツアーを検討するでしょう。

We enjoyed the tour overall but wish we had more time and one or two more stops around the Waimea Canyon. The tour takes in a few different spots across Kauai, but the real highlight is the Canyon. So it's a shame to only get a few different opportunities to stop and take photos. The tour picked us up and dropped us off promptly, and our guide Rosario told us a bit about the island and it's history, which we liked. The lunch provided was better than we expected. If we had the chance again, we would drive to the Waimea Canyon itself to explore it independently. If we had to take a tour again, we would consider this one as we felt overall it was good, if not perfect.

Staff did a wonderful job. Beautiful lush garden setting. Tram and set up was wonderful. Just paid for the show -- best deal on the island. Seemed like a few dancers at different parts of the show forgot what they were doing. It was actually kind of laughable. Other than that, all-in-all it was a good time.

これは私の初めてのルアウで、感動しました！まず、フェルン・グロットに向けて素晴らしいクルーズがあり、ルアウの入場時間の直前にスムーズに終わりました。桟橋から入口までの距離もとても近かったです。夜全体がスムーズに組織されていました。到着してカクテルを楽しみ、豚の掘り起こしを見てからビュッフェに行く時間がありました。ビュッフェに行くタイミングを知らせてくれるので、混雑することもありませんでした。限定のオープンバーも大好きです！人々はトレーで飲み物を配ってくれたので、バーの列も問題ありませんでした。私はベジタリアンで、事前に指定したので、別のプレートも用意してくれました。そのプレートはヴィーガンにも適しているようです。お腹がいっぱいになりました！私の幼児用のハイチェアも気に入っています。彼のための良いテーブルがあり、取り外し可能でした。また、オーキッドガーデンや他の庭を歩いたり、トラムで周ることもできます。ショーも素晴らしかったです。素晴らしい移行とダンス！素晴らしい夜をありがとう！

This was my first luau and I was impressed! We had a very nice cruise to the fern grotto first which seamlessly ended right before the luau entrance time began. The location from the dock to the entrance was also very close by. The whole evening was seamlessly organized. We had a time to get there, get cocktails, watch the unearthing of the pig, then get the buffet. They let people know when to go to the buffet so it wasn’t a swarm. Love the limited open bar as well! People also were handing out drinks on trays so the bar line wasn’t an issue. I am vegetarian and since I specified ahead of time they gave a separate plate as well for me. The plate seems to be suitable for vegans as well. I was so full! I like the high chair for my toddler because it has a good table for him that was also removable. There is also an orchid garden and other gardens to walk or take a tram around to see. The show was also spectacular. Great transitions and dancing! Mahalo for a great night!

この観光ツアーを心から楽しみました。ドライバー兼ガイドのカレオさんは、とても親切で、情報豊かで、面白かったです！一日中、ストーリーやジョークが飛び交っていました。「フムフムヌクヌクアプアア」の発音まで学びました！美しいカウアイ島のハイライトをいくつか見ました。スパウティングホーンの吹き穴や、雲が出る前にワイメアキャニオンのクリアな景色を見ることができてラッキーでした！「チキンインアバレル」で美味しいランチを食べ、カウアイコーヒー農園で美味しいコーヒーを試飲しました。州立公園のトレイルはとても短く、停車順序はヴェルトラのサイトに載っているものとは異なりますが、それでもこのツアーを100%お勧めします。

We thoroughly enjoyed this sightseeing tour, with driver & guide, Kaleo. He was helpful, informative and hilarious! Stories, quips and jokes all day long. We even learned how to pronounce "humuhumunukunukuapua`a"! We saw some highlights of the beautiful island of Kaua`i including the spouting horn blow hole and we were lucky enough to get a clear view of the waimea canyon, before the clouds rolled in! We had a tasty lunch at chicken in a barrell and sampled delicious coffee at the Kaua`i coffee plantation. The trail at the state park is very short and the order of the stops is different to that listed on the veltra site, but regardless we would 100% recommend this tour.

Our family booked the show only option and we had a wonderful time!
The performance was really colorful and the live music was a plus. The place is really pretty and well kept. All the people there were really nice! I highly recommend the experience. (We didn't do the whole Luau since we are vegan and we figured the meal experience wasn't for us)

A beautiful property and well organized event. Everyone was friendly, the food was delicious and the show was spectacular! You can’t visit Kauai without attending Smith’s Tropical Paradise.

島で一番美味しい食事だったと思います！このルアウを100%おすすめします！会場自体も美しく、イベントが始まるまで自由に歩き回ることができるので、少し早めに到着することをお勧めします。行く価値があります！ショー自体も素晴らしかったです。

The food was probably the best on the island! I 100% recommend this luau! The venue itself is gorgeous and they let you wander around until the event starts so definitely get there a little early, it's worthwhile! The show itself was great as well.

- ワイメアキャニオン - さまざまなビューポイントがあり、周囲から見ることができました。写真を撮る機会がたくさんありました。これは本当にホップオン・ホップオフのフォトツアーでした。ハイキングや長い散歩は期待しないでください。私が気に入ったのは、駐車場の心配や入場料の支払い、運転の心配を一切しなくて済んだことです。車を持っていない人やクルーズ客には完璧です。レンタカーがあったにもかかわらず、自分で運転しなくて良かったことを後悔しませんでした。帰りの道では昼寝ができました。ハイキングはしなかったけれど、それでも長い一日でした。
- ランチ - レビューを読んでいたので、食事は期待以上でした（悪い体験はコロナの時期だったと思います）。大きな鶏肉のポーションがあり、味付けも良く、調理も素晴らしかったです。私たちが食事をしたプランテーションは美しく、リラックスできる場所で、ランチブレイクをとても楽しみました。
- コーヒープランテーションツアー - 自分たちでは行かなかったであろう素敵なピットストップでしたが、このツアーに参加できて楽しみました。

私たちのツアーガイド（名前を忘れてしまってごめんなさい - ニュージャージー出身のイタリア人）は素晴らしかったです。運転しながら良い歴史や情報を提供してくれました。彼は非常に多くの知識を持ち、良い推薦をしてくれ、とても面白かったです！！

このツアーは、島の大部分を探索するために私たちが望んでいた通りのもので、ストレスも心配もありませんでした。

This tour was exactly what we were looking for a full day of sight seeing, lunch and no effort on our part!!

What we experienced:
- Pick Up - we got picked up at 7:30 in the morning by the shuttle and then it went to many other hotels to pick up other passengers. Your time will vary depending on where your hotel is.
- Sights - we got to see all the sights listed on the itinerary including some extras at the beach. We saw the Monk Sealions and Turtles at the beach and that was a bonus treat! The pit stops were the perfect amount of time to hop out to take photos, enjoy the sight and then move on.
- Waimea Canyon - lots of different view points - we got to see it from all around. There was PLENTY of picture ops. This was really a hop on hop off photo tour. So don't expect any hikes or long walks. What I loved is I never had to worry about the parking situation, paying park fees, or the driving obviously. It's perfect for anyone without a car or for cruise go-ers. Even though we had a car rental, I didn't regret not having to do this drive myself. I got to nap on the way back because even though I didn't hike, it still was a long day.
- Lunch - The food exceeded my expectations after reading the reviews (I'm sure the bad experiences were during Covid times). We had huge chicken portions and it was seasoned well and cooked well. The plantation that we ate at was beautiful and relaxing so we enjoyed the lunch break a lot.
- Coffee plantation tour - nice pit stop that we wouldn't have made on our own but enjoyed the op to tag along on this tour.

Our tour guide (so sorry for not remembering his name-Italian man from NJ originally) was great. He gave good history, good info all while he was driving. He had so much knowledge and good recommendations and really funny!!

The tour was exactly what we wanted to explore a large chunk of the island - no stress and no worry on our part.

- 食べ物は美味しかったです！！伝統的なハワイ料理を一度に試すことができました。レストランで注文できなかったものもここで食べられました。そして、食べ放題だったので、素晴らしかったです。食べ物には間違いなく不足はありませんでした。食べるのにたっぷり時間をもらえたので（1時間だと思います？）、ゆっくりと食べて2回目や3回目に戻ることができました。（飲み放題の飲み物もありましたが、私はアルコールを飲まないので、ジュースを楽しみましたが、それも素晴らしかったです！）
- 豚の儀式！！豚を掘り出すのを見られ、全体を見ることができました。スミスさんが起こっていることを説明してくれたので特別な気持ちになりました。
- 良い歌とフラダンス！ステージに上がって体を揺らしましょう！！
- ショーの中のファイヤーダンサーは素晴らしかったです！
- これは家族経営の運営で、プロパティには3世代がいると聞きました！！頑張ってください！
- 誕生日や記念日など、皆の祝福に対するシャウトアウトを感謝しました。大きなパーティーでした！

グロウズ：
- 正直なところ、ルアウは食べ物とショーの一部であり、ショーは本当に欠けていました。パフォーマーにはスピリットがありませんでした。彼らが毎晩やっていることに飽きているのか疲れているのか分かりませんが、特に女性たちに対して少し気の毒に感じました。クルーは少人数だったので、同じパフォーマーで多くの異なるダンスをしなければならず、どのダンスにもエネルギーやスピリットがありませんでした。お気に入りの部分は間違いなくファイヤーダンサーでした - 彼は素晴らしかったです。男性たちは女性たちよりもずっとエネルギーがありました。異なる文化のダンスをショーに取り入れようとしたことには感謝しますが、1、2回のダンスの後はすべて同じに見えてきました。最後のファイヤーダンサーがいなければ、ショーの途中で退席していたでしょう。

GLOWS:
- Beautiful property. Got to see a peacock open its tail -Lots of great picture spots on the property.
- The food was delicious!! I finally got to try all the traditional Hawaiian food in one place. Things that I didn't get to order in the restaurants, I got here. And it was All You Can Eat which is always amazing. There was no shortage of food for sure. Since they gave you a ton of time (I think an hour?) to eat, you can take your time and go back for 2nd's or 3rd's. (All you can drink drinks but I don't drink alcohol so I enjoyed their juices which were great too!).
- Pig Ceremony!! I got to see them dig out the pig and see the whole thing. It felt special as Mr. Smith explained all that was happening.
- Good singing and hula dancing! Get on the stage and shake your booty!!
- Fire dancer in the show was great!
- This is a family run operation and we were told there were 3 generations on the property!! Keep it up!
- I appreciated the shout outs for all the celebrations that everyone was doing. From Birthdays to Anniversaries and everything in between. One big party!

GROWS:
- Honestly, a Luau is part food and part show and the show was really just lacking. There was no spirit in the performers. I'm not sure if they were bored/tired of doing it night after night or what but I felt almost bad for them(mainly the ladies). The crew was small so they had to do a lot of different dances with the same performers, there was no energy or spirit in any of the dances. Favorite part was definitely the Fire dancer - he was fantastic. The guys also carried a lot more energy than the ladies. I do appreciate the way they tried to incorporate different cultural dances into the show but they all started to look the same after one or two dances. I would've left halfway through the show if it weren't for the fire dancer at the end.

Everything about this experience was perfect! The grounds are so beautiful. The food was very good and plentiful, as were the drinks! The show was great and I like that it was presented separately from dinner in their amphitheater. Everyone was very welcoming in the true spirit of Aloha!
Over the years, I have attended several luaus in Hawaii, at different venues on 3 of the islands and the Smith Family Luau on Kauai was by far the best!! I’m so glad that when I was researching which luau to choose that I chose them! My husband, our son, our daughter and her fiancé, and I want to extend a huge mahalo to the Smith Family for a wonderful evening!

ショーを観ただけで大好きでした！ダンスは刺激的で魅力的でした。衣装も美しかったです。最後のファイヤーショーは待つ価値がありました！私たちは最前列に座りました。すべての席からの眺めは素晴らしく、屋根で覆われた屋外劇場ではとても快適です。日没前に駐車場に到着すれば、理想的な木を探している何千ものオウムを見ることができ、彼らの群れでたくさんの音を立てています。主要な高速道路で工事が行われている場合は、バージが出発するマリーナの近くに駐車することをお勧めします。そうしないと、道路作業員が道路を再開するまで、200台の他の車と一緒に20分待たされることになります。

We saw the show only and loved it! The dancing was exciting and engaging. the costumes were beautiful. The fire show at the end was worth waiting for! We sat in the front row. All the seats have a great view and are very comfortable in an outdoor theatre shielded by a roof. If you get to the parking lot before sunset, you will see thousands of parrots searching for the ideal tree to sleep in and making lots of noise with their murmurations. If there is road work on the main highway, try to park closer to the Marina where the barge leaves or you might get stuck waiting 20 minutes with 200 other cars until the road crew reopens the road.

Smith's Garden facilities were very nice and the atmosphere was wonderful. The show was different than Luau's I have seen before.

This show was a showcase of dance routines representing the different migrant groups that arrived in Hawaii. It was a show that my tween most prefered and really enjoyed. Smith's keeps in line with providing an authentic array of cast members, which makes Hawaiian preformances stand ahead from those on the mainland. You will see dancers of all ages and women of all sizes represented. It is not only important for young ones to see a variety of people represented but watching people who don't look like a barbie blowing everyone out of the water is in itself a wonderful experience.

Personally, I like Kalamaku's cohesive Tahitian migration/myth story better. Kalamaku also has a larger male presence which performs at a higher level, which I felt more appealing. That being said, I think Smith's was the right choice for bringing my kid and I appreciate that each show is original. I definitely recommend Smith's luau.

Enjoyed all the performances and the historical/cultural commentary as well. Also enjoyed how the fire dancer interacted with the audience. Beautiful setting surrounding the stage with the fire latterns and ponds. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Miss K knows a lot about Kaua'i and the Hawaiian culture and history, she was a fantastic guide during the whole tour.
This tour was great, all the spots we visited are fantastic.

The Waipoo Falls Hiking tour was outstanding.. great communication from start to finish. Our guide, Garrick, was outstanding and provided us with great information and a fantastic experience.

The host was excellent!… the location pristine…. The dinner was also excellent…the show was very nice and sadly to say I would it like to see more “traditional show”… not so staged…

We thoroughly enjoyed the Smith Family Luau! Six adults and a an almost four year old, we all had a great time. The tram ride around the gardens was a nice way to start the evening, we enjoyed hearing the driver talk about the grounds and the tropical plants. We were a bit worried about the number of people in close quarters, but the staff did a good job of metering people as they went up to get their food. Our table, for seven, was actually outside, which was even better. The food was plentiful and everybody found something they liked. The variety of different tropical drinks was fun and easy to get more! The show was exciting, learned a lot about all of the cultures who make up Hawaii. Of course, our little guy LOVED the fire dancing! He said, “the Hawaii party” was the best night ever! If you are in Kauai, as a couple, with friends, or with family, be sure to make a reservation at the Smith Family Luau!

The tour was good. The tour guide was excellent! Less time shopping and more time at the sites to hike would make this an excellent tour. We did enjoy it and would recommend it, especially if you don't have transportation.
