The boys did a UTV drive and the girls did the horseback ride. One of the girls did not want to do the horse and the guides were super accommodating and put her in a UTV to still get to do something. She wound up have a blast after she got in the UTV with her husband. She was able to take a ton of photos and videos of the tour.
My wife got on the horse and had a BLAST on the ride. They did the same trail as the UTV/ATV does but the UTV/ATV goes out first, so they never cross paths. My wife had a great time, but she did say it was not for a very beginner, as they do have a few steep hills. At the very end they let you go faster (For the experienced rider) and go at your own pace for everyone.

The only thing is remember to wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Also DO NOT WEAR WHITE. You will come back with part of the trail on you as it is dusty.

If you ride, this is a must do trip.

Family had a fun time on the hike, very cool and guide was great. Customer service was not good though, I called 3 days prior because I injured my knee. I was told I would be able to do the hike it would be a moderate hike but doable. The day of I couldn't bend my knee so I stayed back, my husband was told no refund even though I let them know 3 days before that I had an injury. Had they not encouraged me I would have canceled the day I called, that is why I was calling them. In the end when Veltra contacted them they fully refunded my money. It was greatly appreciated!

Docking a star due to starting over an hour late, as well as getting a horse that was older and clearly needed to rest during the tour (other horses were just fine).

Otherwise, the experience was really nice and the views were amazing. Great for beginners, more experienced riders may not enjoy as much (they probably wouldn't book this).

Kinda wish they allowed us to trot/gallop a little.

As part of our 25th anniversary week in Maui we booked this early morning excursion. It certainly did not disappoint. The tour guides were informative and courteous. They took us to the best spot for the sunrise, got a great action shot of us “jumping off” The side of the volcano.
We were given great instructions as to how to get back to the bike shop. We had a nice time leisurely coming down. Stopped at a really nice spot for breakfast then proceeded into the town did some shopping grab a snack at the bakery and got back to the shop in plenty of time.

I’ve ridden horses since I was young and even used to work at a local trail riding center. This was the best ride I have ever been on, especially for a tourist ride. The guides were awesome and very helpful. They were able to help the beginner riders but also made it a fun ride for those who were more advanced. We trotted a lot, the scenery was amazing, and the picture opportunities were beautiful. We also got to try fresh passion fruit. At the end we got to “run” our horses if we wanted to. I expected a leisurely canter, but it was a full on gallop one at a time. I got to let my horse go as fast as he wanted and it was incredible! Highly highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with the Rainforest & Waterfall Swim Hike in Maui! We were able to experience it all: pretty tame trails, swimming in cool waters, and cliff diving from the falls. This adventure is appropriate for families (but I wouldn't take very young children), couples, or solos that desiring a peaceful hike.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly the entire hike. He was also very accommodating (I had a shoulder injury at the time) and the hike was still very enjoyable!

There were plenty of times to rest, swim, and eat snacks. Our guide was attentive to our needs and provided other suggestions of what to check out/visit during our stay on the island. I highly recommend!

I went on the self-guided tour. As an experienced cyclist this felt most appropriate. It was as-advertised meaning when they dropped you off you could literally go at your own pace and needed to navigate your way back to the bike shop. I LOVED this part of it. On the drive there the driver went over the turns with us multiple times and even quizzed us to make sure we’d all remember. I even plugged the directions in my phone but didn’t end up needing it. The driver/guide was entertaining telling us stories of the upcountry history and including jokes. Not ‘dad-jokes’ either. This guy was legit funny!!

They do supply you with rain pants and jacket along with a sweatshirt, helmet and gloves. They have all kinds of sizes. It can get really cold at the summit waiting for the sunrise though so suggest bringing your own cold weather layers as well.

I would definitely do this again!

Horseback riding the West Maui Mountains made my trip! Absolutely, hands down, one of the best horseback riding tours I have ever been on. The guides take you to places you would never be able to walk or drive to otherwise. They do a great job matching you with a horse based on your skill level. The ride was rather long - 2 hours - 2.5 hours. It's definitely worth the money! It's very rare to be able to ride that long, canter, and gallop on a public horseback riding trail ride. The views are astonishing. We flew to Maui from Oahu specifically to horseback ride for my 33rd birthday. I am an experienced rider, who has owned a Thoroughbred mare, and competed Equestrian riding for over a decade. This excursion made my entire trip. Hands down the most amazing experience I have ever had on any excursion at any destination!

初めてオワフ島で乗馬体験をして、
そのコースのロケーションに感動してから、毎回
乗馬を楽しんでいます。

オワフ島、ハワイ島も最高のロケーションですが、
マウイ島も素晴らしく、一生の思い出になりました。

また、短い距離ですが、走らせてくれたのが
意外と楽しくてはまりそうです。

陽気なカウボーイさん達と乗馬しながら、沢山写真も
撮ってくれました。

また絶対に参加したいです！

ただ、乗馬の前の説明が英語オンリーですので
乗馬が初めてという方はお気を付けて！

This was a nice day for my family up in the mountains we all got our own horses I was just the four of us the guy took us down the trail that led to the wharf where we took some pictures he was very informative know about the land and all the culture allowed us to spend some time then once we had a back we were able to spend some time talking to them and watching them with the horses Would highly recommend to others

牧場スタッフがとてもフレンドリーでした。
ただ、トレッキングは単調で土の上を進むので一番先頭意外は前の馬の歩く土埃で大変でした。
色々な所で乗馬をしましたが、楽しさは低い方でした。

16日に素晴らしいトレイルライドに行きました。とても素晴らしく、牧場の動物たちが大好きでした。あまりにも楽しかったので、20日に2回目のライドを再予約しました！！！

I went on this awesome trail ride on the 16th. It was so amazing and I LOVED all the animals on the ranch. I loved it so much I rescheduled for a 2nd ride on the 20th!!!
