一人一人ライトを持って、夜の海岸で生き物を探します。太陽が出ている日中より、多くの生き物が活発的になる時間帯のため、100匹を超えるヤドカリの群れやスナガニ、羽を広げると1mを超えるオオコオモリなど、多種多様な生き物に出会えます。

採取ポイントへ移動
プランクトンを採取
海の小さな生き物やプランクトンは光に集まってくる習性があるので、その習性を利用して強力なライトを海に照らし、プランクトンや小さな生き物を集めて採取します。
顕微鏡で観察
肉眼では見ることが難しい程小さいプランクトンですが、顕微鏡を使って拡大して観察していきます。珍しい種類のプランクトンや、まだ名前のついていない新種に出会える可能性も！

1位を目指して頑張ろう！楽しいゲームを交えながら沖縄の海の中の、小さな生き物たちを学びます。
