We participated with our family of four in mid-March. Although the weather was unfortunate, the guide's explanations were very good, and the conversations in the vehicle were enjoyable and created a friendly atmosphere. Also, at Yakusugi Land, the walk in the heavy rain was tough, but the guide provided thorough explanations even in those conditions. The price, including lunch, is reasonable, and we had a great time!

On my first trip to Yakushima, I found out about the Jomon Sugi tour while making a reservation with VELTRA, and I was curious, so I also made a reservation with Katagiri. The interior was very clean and had a great atmosphere. When I arrived and said my name, they guided me right away! Both the appetizer and the hitsumabushi were incredibly delicious ☺︎ The bonito dashi was the best! The pasta and other menu items also looked delicious, and I was very interested in them! I definitely want to visit again when I go back to Yakushima (*^▽^*) Thank you very much ♡

We participated as a family. We were able to see the pilot training in a moving cockpit through the glass, and my son was very impressed. He also expressed a desire to study hard towards his future dreams. I heard that a new gacha machine has been introduced, so I would like to aim for that next time.

It was convenient that there was a shuttle service to the hotel since I was traveling with children. The tour mixed customers who booked directly with those from major travel agencies, but we were able to participate without confusion thanks to color-coded stickers. I was worried about getting seasick during the nearly one-hour boat ride from Ishigaki to Iriomote Island, but there were designated seats for those prone to motion sickness, and I managed to avoid feeling sick. We could also choose the bus time back to the hotel, which felt like a free plan with transportation and meals included. I enjoyed the stories from the bus driver and guide, as well as the boatman during the mangrove tour.

The only downside was that the shuttle service from the hotel to the port was quite careless; mispronouncing names was common, the driving was rough like being in a local acquaintance's car, and during the pickup, they almost left without confirming the customers. It felt a bit off.

子連れで参加したので、ホテルまで送迎があったのは楽でした。
ツアーは、直接申し込んだお客さんと大手旅行会社のツアーのお客さんと混載でしたが、色分けしたシールなどで間違う事なく参加できました。
石垣から西表島までの1時間弱の船酔いが心配でしたが、船酔いしやすい人向けのシートなども示してあって酔わずに終われました。
帰りのホテルまでのバスの時間も選べて、フリープランに移動と食事のついたイメージです。
バスの運転手さん兼ガイドさんや、マングローブ下りの船頭さんのお話など楽しく過ごせました。
一点だけ残念だったのは、ホテルから港までの送迎がかなり雑で、名前の読み間違えは当たり前、運転も地元の知り合いの車に乗せられたような荒さ、行きのピックアップではお客さんを確認せずに出発しようとしたり、ちょっと…な感じでした。

I chose this course because I thought the Submarine Jr. II was attractive. I was impressed to see the beautiful fish in Okinawa's clear waters from the semi-submersible. I was also happy to visit famous tourist spots like the Fukugi Tree Lined Road and the Churaumi Aquarium. The tour guide was kind, and it turned out to be a fun trip.

We gathered at the remote island terminal and boarded a van heading towards the countryside of Ishigaki Island. As we progressed, the lights outside gradually disappeared, and I felt excited about where we were heading. Inside the vehicle, our two cheerful guides shared various stories and worked hard to keep the atmosphere lively.

During the journey, the vehicle stopped, and I wondered if we had arrived, but the guide caught a snake on the road and returned to the bus! I was surprised! I'm not good with snakes, but I thought it was a rare encounter, so I touched it as a memorable experience.

After a while, we arrived at a completely dark square. Just as my eyes were adjusting to the darkness, I looked up at the sky and saw a stunning starry sky! The constellations I learned in school spread out before me.

I was taught how to photograph the stars with my iPhone. While it couldn't compare to seeing them with the naked eye, I was able to capture a little memory. Normally, I don't take the time to look at stars, but here, I could have watched them for hours.

Reluctantly leaving the stars behind, we continued on a jungle exploration. I felt a bit anxious wondering if we were really going in there, but we ended up having a fun adventure walking through the water.

The guides were knowledgeable about many things and taught us enthusiastically, so I must have said "Wow" and "Amazing" countless times! On the way back, we enjoyed the sweet scent from the sugar factory.

I thought I would regret not being able to take photos other than the starry sky, but they perfectly captured everything we saw and shared the photos with us later.

It was our last night in Ishigaki Island, but we had a rich and fulfilling time. I would love to come back during this season to see fireflies again. Thank you very much.

離島ターミナルに集合して、ワゴン車に乗り込み石垣島の田舎といわれる方に向かいました。進むにつれ窓の外は、だんだん灯りがなくなり、どんなところに向かっているんだろうとワクワク。車内では明るいお二人のガイドさんが色々な話しをして一生懸命盛り上げてくださいました。道中、車が止まったので、もう着いたの？と思っていたら、ガイドさんが道にいたヘビをキャッチしてバスに戻って来られました！びっくり！ヘビは苦手ですが、なかなか出会うことも出来ないと思い、せっかくの記念なので触っておきました。
しばらくして真っ暗な広場に到着、ようやく目が暗闇に慣れて来た頃、空を見上げると満点の星空！学校で習った星座が、空に広がっていました。
iPhoneでの星の撮影の仕方も教えていただき、肉眼で観る星には叶わないけれど、少しでも記念に残すことができました。普段星なんてそんなにちゃんと見ることはないけれど、ここでは何時間でも見ていたいくらいでした。
星も名残惜しいけれど引き続きジャングル散策へ。こんなところ入っていくの〜？と少し不安になりながらも、水の中を歩いたり楽しい探検を終えました。
とにかくガイドさん達が色々なことに詳しくて、熱心に教えてくれたので、『へぇー』と『スゴイ』を何度言ったことか！
帰りは製糖工場からの甘い香りを感じながら帰って来ました。
星空以外、写真撮れなかったことが心残りかなと思っていたところ、しっかり見たものを写真に残してくれているという完璧さ！後で共有していただきました。
石垣島最後の夜でしたが、中身の濃い時間が過ごせました。次はまたこの時期にホタルを見に行きたいです。

I experienced the Rainbow Bridge course that departs at 4:30 PM! Just before arrival, I was on the verge of freezing, but I became so engrossed in the photo opportunities along the way that I forgot about the cold. It was a refreshing bus tour that cut through the wind, so I would like to use it again when I visit Tokyo. It was cloudy, but we were able to take a sightseeing boat and see the fantastical underwater world! The lunch was a delicious grilled meat set meal, just like in the pictures! A children's lunch was provided for toddlers.

At Churaumi Aquarium, we missed the dolphin show because the timing didn't work out. We went to the aquarium first, but we couldn't make it to the dolphin show in time. However, we still enjoyed the aquarium.

The journey from the aquarium to Chatan was delayed due to highway construction, taking two hours instead of one.

The first hour after arriving in Chatan was really not enough time. The restroom was extremely crowded, and after having a light snack, an hour passed in no time.

I had some concerns after reading reviews, but it turned out to be a wonderful day. It's essential for children to take motion sickness medication.

北谷についてからの1時間は本当に時間が足りません。
トイレも激込みで軽食をとったらあっという間に1時間たちました。

口コミを見て不安なこともありましたが、とても素敵な1日になりました。
お子様は酔い止め必須です。

We participated as a couple. We were worried about the weather for our late March trip, but it turned out to be quite nice, with plenty of sunshine and warm weather. During our stroll around Kabira Bay, the sunlight made for great photos. The male tour guide's talk and his performance on the sanshin were also enjoyable! It was a fun time chatting with the other people we spent time with.

3月下旬の参加で、お天気が心配だったけれど紫外線たっぷりの暑汗ばむくらいのお天気でまずまず…。
川平湾散策の時も陽射しあり写真も映えました。

Day 1 and Day 2 were both incredible thanks to our wonderful guides and fellow members, making for the best climbing experience.

On Day 1, Tsugimura-san kept the spirits high on the long and challenging journey to Jomon Sugi, encouraging us and safely guiding us to the finish. Throughout the trek, he was attentive, engaging with the members, and prepared various quizzes and humorous stories, showing great consideration. By the end, it felt like the 10-hour trek had flown by, and it was a truly fulfilling experience.

On Day 2, Urasaki-san at Shiratani Unsuikyo provided clear and easy-to-understand instructions. This course was easier than the first day's tour, and we saw many individuals exploring on their own, but the wealth of information about the plants and the explanations of photo spots made it clear that having a guide was definitely worthwhile.

1日目、2日目ともに素晴らしいガイドさんとメンバーに恵まれ、最高の登山になりました。

1日目の津曲さんは、長く厳しい縄文杉までの道のりを盛り上げ、励まし、安全にゴールまで導いてくださいました。道中きめ細かにメンバーに声がけをしてくださったり、様々なクイズやユーモア溢れる話を準備してくださったりと随所に気遣いが感じられました。終わってみると10時間の長丁場とは思えないくらい、あっという間の充実した時間となりました。

2日目、白谷雲水峡の浦西さんは、指示が明瞭で非常に分かりやすかったです。こちらのコースは初日のツアーより簡単で、個人で来ている方も多くみられましたが、植物に関する情報、写真スポットの説明が豊富で、本当にガイドをつけてよかったと思わされました。

We decided to visit Jomon Sugi as a family and made our first trip to Yakushima. Although I had some trekking experience, I felt a bit anxious after researching the distance involved. I found out that there were trekking guides available, so I made a reservation with Beltra. The entire process from application to confirmation was done via email, making it easier than I expected. They provided information on what to bring, allowing us to prepare in advance.

On the morning of the trek, they picked us up at the hotel at 4:30 AM. While we were in the car, we learned about the flow of the day, and due to the car regulations, we switched to a bus, reaching the trailhead in no time.

We took a photo before departure, and the 10-hour trek began. Since we had children with us, we requested a private guide who had lived in Yakushima for six years and had nearly 600 Jomon Sugi guiding experiences.

The weather was great that day, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, creating a beautiful contrast with the fresh green trees. According to our guide, it was the best season and timing.

The long journey to Jomon Sugi was filled with photo opportunities, and our experienced guide shared enjoyable stories, keeping even our older child engaged. The explanations about the Yakusugi trees, plants, and scenery were clear and helpful. They monitored our pace and took breaks for lunch, so we didn't get too tired and were able to make the round trip safely. The children also had a great time, making wonderful memories. We even had the chance to see a work trolley passing by, which was a nice coincidence.

After hearing from our guide about the beautiful cherry blossoms, we decided to go to Shiratani Unsuikyo the next day. Although it was cloudy and rainy, we managed to reach Taiko Rock. The summit of Mount Miyanoura was shrouded in clouds, but we enjoyed the beautiful scenery sprinkled with cherry blossom petals.

Our guide shared various stories about Yakushima, making it a great experience. I would like to visit Mount Miyanoura again, so I plan to challenge it next time.

調べるとトレッキングのガイドのがあることもわかり、ベルトラさんにて申し込みを致しました。
申し込みから確認まで、全てメールでできましたので思ったよりも簡単でした。
携行品の案内もあり、事前に揃えることもできました。
当日の朝も、4時30分にホテルに迎えに来て頂き、車中流れを伺いながら、マイカー規制でバスに乗り換え、登山口まであっという間です。

出発前の写真を取って頂き、10時間のトレッキングの始まりです。
今回子供もいたので、家族のみでお願いしたガイドさんは、屋久島在住6年、縄文杉ガイド600回に迫る方でした。

当日は天気も良く、ちょうど桜も満開になり、新緑と桜色の木々のコントラストが最高でした。
ガイドさん曰く、ベストシーズン、ベストタイミングとのことでした。

縄文杉までの長い道のりも、たくさん写真を取って頂き、途経験豊富なガイドさんの楽しい話を聞きながら、高学年の子供も飽きずに歩いてくれました。所々の屋久杉、植物、景色、その他案内もわかりやすくて、良かったです。
ペースを見ながら、休憩、昼食を取ってくれたので、思ったよりも体も疲れず無事に往復できました。子供も楽しかったとのことで、良い思い出になりました。偶然走っている作業トロッコが見られたのも、タイミングでした。

また、桜がすごい綺麗どのガイドさんの話を聞いたことから、翌日は白谷雲水峡に行こうと決め、曇り雨となりましたが、太鼓岩まで行くことができ、宮之浦岳山頂は雲の中でしたが、桜色が散りばめられた、きれいな景色を堪能できました。

ガイドさんには、屋久島の色々な話を聞くことができ、良い経験でした。また、宮之浦岳にも行きたいと思いましたので、次回は宮之浦岳に挑戦したいと思います。

旅を通して、今回、ベルトラさんにお願いし良かったです。またガイドさんにも大変お世話になり感謝です。

I had always wanted to visit Yakushima. If I were to go again, I wanted to see Jomon Sugi. I wasn't sure if I could handle the challenging 10-hour round trip hike, so I joined a guided tour. I rented essential items like hiking boots and rain gear on-site. March is a mild time of year, not too hot or cold, and I think it's the best season for trekking. A bus picked me up at 4 AM from the JR Yakushima Hotel, and we were taken to the Arakawa trailhead after picking up other participants.

We started at 6 AM, walking the 8 km of the tramway path, which took 4 hours. With the guide's explanations and casual conversations, we reached the end of the tramway surprisingly quickly. The remaining 2 km uphill was tough and took 2 hours. From a specific angle, the Wilson stump looks heart-shaped. Those who weren't fit turned back here, but if you push a little further, you can see Jomon Sugi. Along the way, I chatted with some foreign travelers and enjoyed the fleeting moments.

Jomon Sugi has existed on Earth since ancient times. Watching this tree, which will continue to live even after the people around it have passed, made me feel the strength of life on Earth. The return trip was quicker, but descending can strain your legs. There were young people who had hurt their knees and struggled to walk, and I also felt pain in my legs on the way back. Still, I think it was worth it to enjoy the magnificent nature. I was lucky that it hardly rained that day.

前から行ってみたかった屋久島。また屋久島に行くなら縄文杉に会いに行きたかった。往復10時間歩くという今まで体験した事がない厳しい行程を果たしてクリア出来るのか？正直自信がありませんでしたので、ガイドツアーに参加しました。登山靴やカッパなど必須アイテムは現地でレンタルしました。3月という気候の穏やかな時期で暑くも寒くもなくトレッキングにはベストシーズンではないかと思います。朝4時にバスがJR屋久島ホテルに迎えに来てくれました。各所で参加者をピックアップし、荒川登山口まで送迎してもらいました。
朝6時にスタート。片道8ｋｍのトロッコ道を4時間掛けて歩きます。道中、ガイドさんの解説や雑談をしていると意外と早く、トロッコ道の終点へ。残りの2ｋｍ超の登りが大変で2時間掛かります。ウィルソン株は特定の角度から見上げるとハート形に見えます。体力のない方はここで引き返していましたが、もう少し頑張ると縄文杉が見られます。途中、出会った外国の人と会話したり、一期一会も楽しめました。遥か太古から地球に存在する縄文杉。この場にいる人が人生を終えても生き続けるであろう縄文杉を見ていると、地球の生命の強さを感じざるを得ませんでした。帰りの方が早く帰れますが、下りのトレッキングは足を痛める可能性があります。道中、膝を痛めて歩きづらくなっていた若者もいましたし、私自身も帰りは足が痛くなりました。それでも一見に値する雄大な自然を満喫できたと思います。雨もほぼ降らずにラッキーな1日でした。

On Saturday, March 25th, I participated in a Shirakawa-go tour. Since it takes about 80 minutes from Kanazawa Station, I decided to take this opportunity to extend my trip. I felt that it was quite popular among foreigners, with participants from Canada, Denmark, Italy, and other countries, especially since it is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The guide's fluent English made the tour enjoyable and relaxed, filled with laughter. Thanks to the veteran guide's clear and fun explanations, as well as the safe driving of the driver, I was able to spend a comfortable time in the vehicle.

In Shirakawa-go, we had plenty of free time, so I took many photos of the entire village from the Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observation Deck. The guide also pointed out popular photo spots often featured in posters, allowing me to capture some great pictures. The grilled miso on magnolia leaves was fragrant and delicious (I was a bit worried if the portion was sufficient for the foreigners...).

I learned that in the gassho-zukuri style, many villagers work together to replace the thick thatched roofs. I also realized the difficulty of preserving the gassho-zukuri landscape, as there are still abandoned houses in the village.

Thank you to White Ring for organizing such a meaningful tour. The senbei-making experience along the way was also fun.

3月25日土曜日に白川郷ツアーに参加しました。金沢駅から約80分で行けるということで､せっかくの機会なので足を伸ばす事にしました。カナダ､デンマーク､イタリアなどからの参加があり世界遺産ということもあり外国の方にもかなり人気なのだと感じました。
添乗員さんの流暢な英語での案内に笑いがありとても和やかでした。ベテランの添乗員さんの分かりやすく楽しい説明､安全運転の運転手さんのお陰で安心して車中を過ごすことが出来ました。
白川郷では十分に自由時間をとっていただいたので荻町城跡展望台からの集落全体の景観に何度シャッターを切りました。またポスターによく使われる写真のスポットも教えていただき､いい写真が撮れました。朴葉味噌焼きは香ばしく美味しかったです（外国の方には量が充分だったか少し心配になりました…）。
合掌造では分厚い茅葺の屋根を多くの村人で協力し合って吹き替える事などを知りました。集落には廃屋がそのままになっているところもあり合掌造りの景観を今後も守っていくことの大変さを痛感しました。

有意義なツアーを企画してくださったホワイトリングさんありがとうございました。
途中のせんべい焼き体験も楽しかったです。

I was worried because the weather hadn't been great until the day before, but we set sail safely. Just as advertised, the catamaran didn't rock too much, and we arrived at the viewing spot without any issues. We encountered a mother and baby whale; we could clearly see the baby whale spouting and the mother whale's impressive dive with her tail fin. It was really wonderful.

The guide was from China. There were few Japanese people on the bus, and many of the passengers were of Chinese descent. The guide fluently explained in both Japanese and Chinese. When engaging in personal conversations, they switched between Chinese and Japanese instantly while looking at the other person's face, which was impressive.

The route included Nakayama Pass, Sairo Observatory, Toyako Onsen, Showa Shinzan, Cape Chikyu, and Noboribetsu Hell Valley, but since I had already been to Hell Valley, I got off at Nakayama Pass and headed towards Hakodate (this needs to be discussed in advance).

I was able to visit most of the places I wanted to, so that was good. However, I felt that the first two locations could have had a shorter time, and I would have preferred to spend more time at Toyako Onsen; that's my only complaint.

中山峠→サイロ展望台→洞爺湖温泉→昭和新山→地球岬→登別地獄谷のルートでしたが、地獄谷は行ったことあるので地球峠で離脱して函館方面に向かいました(事前に要相談)。
行きたかったところだいたい行けたのでよかったです。最初の2箇所はもう少し時間短くても良かったので、洞爺湖温泉長く欲しかったくらいかな、不満は。

Being born in the Showa era, I hesitated to join alongside people from other countries when applying, but thanks to the skillful explanations from the tour conductor, I was able to participate with peace of mind. There were some delays in the itinerary, leading to several waiting times, but the kind and thorough communication made it feel less uncomfortable. My wife and I, being the oldest participants, made every effort to walk without causing any inconvenience to the other participants. I recommend that elderly individuals planning to join future tours "train their legs and back" before participating. I joined with confidence from my experience as a regional soccer referee, but unfortunately, I developed a "mild Achilles tendonitis." The reason I couldn't achieve the highest score was due to my own shortcomings.

Thanks to the skillful handling of the LIMON conductor and driver, I was able to travel safely and securely. I express my heartfelt gratitude along with my joy. "Thank you very much."

金婚式には２年ほどありましたが、身体が丈夫な内に苦労を掛けた妻のご褒美に本人の希望で御社のツアーに参加させていただきました。昭和生まれのため
申込みの際、他国の人達との同行に躊躇もありましたが、ツアーコンダクターの方の巧みな説明に安心して参加できました。行程の遅れなども有り待ち時間が何度かありましたが、親切丁寧に伝えて頂けたので、それほど違和感はありませんでした。私たち夫婦が最高齢と参加者の皆様にご迷惑にならないように懸命に歩を運びました。今後、参加を予定している高齢者の皆さんツアー参加には「足腰を鍛えて」参加されることをお薦めします。サッカー地域審判員の経験から自信を持って参加しましたが「軽いアキレス腱炎」を発症してしまいました。最高何度を付けられなかった理由は私の不徳の為です。
LIMONのコンダクター様ドライバー様の巧みなハンドル捌きで安心安全に旅をさせて頂きました。

It has been a year since I visited Mount Taicho on Yakushima. The previous year, I attempted to climb Mount Kuromi, but the weather was bad and the scenery was not enjoyable. I also felt that the guide from a different company was not very good, so I was internally anxious. However, this time the guide was a polite woman with whom I had common interests, which put me at ease and made for a wonderful tour. I want to go again; I'm hoping to visit Yakushima this year as well and am waiting for the right timing.

When I climbed, Yakushima was unusually dry, having not seen rain for several days. However, it was clear enough to see the sea and the town below, creating a divine view.

１年前になりますが、屋久島の太忠岳に。
前年に黒味岳トライも天気も悪く景色どころではなく、違う会社のガイドも良くない人と感じた人だったので内心不安でしたが、この時は女性で丁寧な方で、共通点もあり安心し、全てが払拭されるツアーになりました。また行きたい、今年も屋久島行きたいと思いつつ、タイミングを狙ってます。
私が登った時は、数日雨が降ってない屋久島としてはカラカラな状態。しかし、眼下に海や街も見えるほど晴れていて、神々しい景色でした。

It was cold and I felt like I might freeze, even though it was spring, because we left in the evening. However, being able to see various things in a short amount of time was efficient, and since it was my first time in Tokyo, I was satisfied.

夕方出発のため春とは言え風が冷たくて凍えそうでした。でも短時間で色々観れるのは、効率的で初の東京だったので満足でした。
