I made a reservation to create lasting memories on my first visit to Miyako Island! The weather was perfect, and when I arrived and looked up at the sky, a starry sky spread out before me. The photographer, Tensei, was bright and kind, teaching me various things. I was nervous, but I was able to take wonderful photos! Tensei's photography skills were amazing, and he was great at giving compliments, making the shoot enjoyable. We were even able to see the Milky Way and shooting stars, which made for a fantastic end to the day! Thank you very much!

This is my second time using a sightseeing bus, and once again, it was the right choice. I believe that for solo travelers without a car, a sightseeing bus is the best option. It allows for efficient sightseeing, and this time, the guide was wonderful, providing commentary throughout the ride, which was truly moving. The driver was also kind and courteous. I felt the price was a bit high, but since it includes admission fees and the cable car fare, I find it reasonable. Thank you for your service.
観光バス利用は今回で2度目ですが今回も正解でした。
1人旅、車なしでの観光は観光バスが1番だと思います。
効率良く観光が出来、今回更にガイドさんが素晴らしく乗ってる間中ガイドして下さり感動しました。

Barasu Island had challenging sea conditions, so we went canoeing in the morning and toured Yufu Island in the afternoon. The attention to detail from our female guide made us feel at ease and able to participate comfortably. Not only were the experience photos and videos great, but the guide also had a good eye for capturing scenic photos. Personally, I was impressed by how she shared knowledge about Iriomote throughout the travel time to the water buffalo riding area. We were able to enjoy the travel time as part of the tour! I'm glad I was with Matsuko's team!
バラス島は海の状況的に難しくなり、午前カヌー、午後由布島観光でした。
女性のガイドさんだからこその細やかな気配りが感じられ安心して参加できました。
体験写真動画だけでなく、ガイドさんが撮る風景の写真のセンスも良かったです。
個人的には水牛乗り場までの移動時間ずっと西表の知識をトークしてくださっていたことが印象的でした。

On a company trip, we had a free day, and three male members of the company signed up for this tour to see the Blue Pond. Although there were some disappointing courses due to the timing, the three of us had a great day. It was a sunny day, but since our visit to the Blue Pond was scheduled for 3:00 PM, we couldn't capture the photos we had imagined due to the lighting conditions. It might have been better if we could have arranged the visit around noon.
会社の旅行で、1日フリー日があり青い池を見たさにこのツアーを会社のメンバー3名(男性)で申し込みました。
時期的に残念なコースもありましたが、男３人でも1日楽しめました。
その日は晴天でしたが、青い池の見学時間が15:00の為、光加減の関係で思ったイメージの写真が撮れなかった事が残念でした。

Despite being a weekday, the Gunkanjima tour was extremely popular. On this day, the morning departures from the five different ferry companies were almost fully booked. I'm glad I made a reservation in advance through Veltra. First, we went to the Digital Museum to check in. I paid a landing tax of 310 yen. The Digital Museum had many highlights, and the video of entering the mine felt like an attraction. It was also great to see Gunkanjima from above in VR.
When it was time, we headed to the boat. I mistakenly went to the wrong ferry and had to rush back. We boarded the ferry in order of our reception numbers. If you buy a premium ticket, you get a seat on the second floor. Unfortunately, I didn't get that, but since I checked in early, I was able to get a window seat.
I've heard that it's often not possible to land once the boat departs. However, on this day, it was hot like midsummer, and we were able to disembark. We received explanations at three locations on the island. The guide who explained things had lived on the island, so we got to hear firsthand accounts. They were a wonderful guide.
On the way back, I was so tired that I fell asleep, but it was a very fulfilling three hours. Gunkanjima truly was a "diamond sleeping in the sea."
平日にも関わらず大人気の軍艦島ツアー。この日も5つある船会社の午前便はほぼ満席。前もってベルトラで予約しておいてよかった。まずはデジタルミュージアムに行きチェックイン。1人入島税？で310円払いました。デジタルミュージアムは見どころが多く、特に鉱山に入るビデオはアトラクションのようでした。ＶＲで軍艦島を上から観られるのもよかったです。
時間になったので船へ向かいます。場所を間違えて違う船に行ってしまい慌てて戻りました。受付番号順に船内へ。プレミアムのチケットを買えば2階席でした。残念。でも早く受付したので、窓際が取れました。
船が出ても上陸できないことが多いらしいです。この日は真夏のような暑さで上陸okでした。島内3ヶ所で説明を受けます。説明をしてくださった方が島に住んでたことがあったとのことで、生きた説明が聞けました。素晴らしいガイドさんでした。
帰りは疲れて寝ちゃいましたがとても充実した3時間でした。
軍艦島はまさしく「海に眠るダイヤモンド」でした。

It was the most beautiful starry sky I've ever seen in my life! I was so impressed. They took a lot of photos and suggested poses, so I could easily enjoy the shoot. The photographer was a wonderful person named Amakaze! I was able to see the Milky Way and shooting stars several times. The photos will be ready in a week, so I'm really looking forward to it! I highly recommend this for creating memories. 😊

After reading past experiences, I decided to book this tour, wanting to request Tsugimachi-san for the Yakushima trekking!
Since this tour covers Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo in one day, it requires a fairly fast pace.
After finishing the relatively flat trolley path, I thought we could make it since we had completed a quarter of the overall journey, but the climb after seeing the Wilson stump was tough. Following Tsugimachi-san's advice to narrow down our destination for better pace management, we gave up on Jomon Sugi and changed our course to head back to Kusukawa and aim for Taiko Rock, heading towards the Shiratani Unsuikyo route.
Tsugimachi-san is a veteran guide with 2,500 tours under his belt, so his calm and thoughtful judgment was greatly appreciated. Since I had booked a private guide, it was also great that we could make such flexible plan changes.
The weather was clear that day, and I was advised that the view from Taiko Rock would be absolutely beautiful. Personally, I wanted to see Taiko Rock, so I prioritized this, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision!
It seems that on some days, visibility can be so poor that you can't see even a meter ahead, but I was truly able to witness an unforgettable breathtaking view.
Additionally, I enjoyed Tsugimachi-san's talks along the way. It seems that the brain for walking and the brain for thinking or conversing require different movements, creating a multitasking state that is good for brain training, which was quite amusing!
By the way, there were many fun moments thanks to Tsugimachi-san's surprises and playful spirit, making it not just tough but enjoyable as well! Tsugimachi-san is a pro at creating wonderful Yakushima trekking memories.
This tour itself is quite challenging, so it might be tough for those who are not used to climbing up and down mountain paths or lack confidence in their physical fitness. However, the trekking guided by Tsugimachi-san was excellent, and I’m truly glad I chose this option!
過去の体験談を読み、屋久島トレッキングは是非津曲さんにお願いしたい！と当ツアーを予約しました。
1日で縄文杉・白谷雲水峡を回り切るツアーのため、かなりハイペースで足を進める必要があります。
比較的平坦なトロッコ道が終わったところで全体行程の1/4終了ということで、これは行けそうと思ったものの…ウィルソン株を見た後の登りがキツく、ペース配分的にも目的地を絞った方が良いという津曲さんのアドバイスもあり、縄文杉は諦め、楠川分かれまで戻って太鼓岩を目指し、白谷雲水峡ルートに向かうコースに変更いただきました。
2,500回ガイドをされてきているベテランガイドさんなので、冷静でありがたい判断でしたし、貸切ガイドで予約していたため、このような臨機応変なプラン変更ができたのも良かったです。
この日は快晴で、太鼓岩からの景色は絶対綺麗だよというアドバイスもあり、個人的にも太鼓岩は見てみたいと思っていたのでこちらを優先したのですが、結果大正解でした！
日によっては1m先も見えないくらいの天候なことも多いようですが、本当に一生忘れられない絶景を拝むことができました。
また、道中の津曲さんのトークにも楽しませていただきました。
歩くための脳みそと、何か考えたり会話するための脳みそは別の動きが必要なので、マルチタスク状態となり、脳トレに良いそうです笑
ちなみに、所々のサプライズや津曲さんの遊び心で、キツいだけではなく楽しい瞬間もたくさんありました！
津曲さんは楽しい屋久島トレッキングの思い出を作るプロです(^^)
このツアー自体はかなりきついのでアップダウンの山道も登り慣れているor体力に相当自信がある人でないと厳しいかもしれませんが、津曲さんガイドのトレッキングは最高だったので、本当にこちらを選んで良かったです！

As mentioned in your review, we significantly slowed down after the Wilson stump, and I thought we would end up returning through Shiratani Unsuikyo in the dark. I suggested either sticking to Jomon Sugi or turning back at the Wilson stump to head to Shiratani Unsuikyo, but in the end, I believe choosing Shiratani Unsuikyo was the right decision. On that day, we had one of the few clear days of the year, and the view from Taiko Rock was absolutely stunning, so I was even more delighted than the two of you (laughs).

１日で縄文杉と白谷雲水峡を歩くコースはペース上げて歩かないと帰りの白谷雲水峡は真っ暗になりますので、ある程度の体力がないと厳しいですね。
体験談でも書いてありますように、ウィルソン株以降の通称「地獄の階段」で大幅にペースダウンし、このままだと帰りの白谷雲水峡は真っ暗になると思い
縄文杉のみにするか、ウィルソン株で折り返し白谷雲水峡に行くか提案しましたが、結果白谷雲水峡を選んで正解だったと思います。
当日は１年で数日あるかないかの晴天でしたので、太鼓岩からの景色が最高に良かったのでお二人よりも私の方が喜んでしまいました（笑）
縄文杉には行けませんでしたが、少しでも屋久島のトレッキングの楽しさ、キツさ素晴らしさを体験出来たのは良かったのではないでしょうか。
もし機械がありましたら体力をつけて縄文杉トレッキングをリベンジして欲しいですね。

First of all, it was great that the hotel offered a shuttle service! I saved on the taxi fare between the hotel and the island terminal. Also, having options for activities on Taketomi Island, whether by rental bicycle (for an additional fee), on foot, or by ox cart, was innovative! I don't think it's often that you spend over 10 hours with someone you've just met. Because of that, I was hoping for a guide who seemed kind, not too loud, but still entertaining, and by chance, I connected with one through social media.
When we met on the day, the politeness I felt from our previous DMs remained, and I found him to be more interesting and surprisingly full of a spirit of service than I expected!
Looking around, I noticed many guides with a somewhat careless attitude and tone, but he treated us with respect until the very end. Moreover, his spirit of service was remarkable; he surprised us with a newlywed gift, offered a variety of drinks beyond just coffee (I had given up on that since I'm not good with caffeine, but I was able to choose cocoa!), and provided us with ice-cold juice at Taiko Rock. I felt his thoughtfulness throughout.
Even photos that I was a bit shy to ask for were suggested by Tsugimura-san, allowing us to create many memories. I received photos that captured Yakushima, like pictures of the Kodama and Yakushima monkeys, and the editing was perfect! It also helped me learn about photography techniques (^^).
I think it would have been nice if he had consulted me in advance about posting face photos.
I will cherish the handkerchief and couple's chopsticks you gave me! Thank you very much for this experience!
10時間以上をはじめましての方と共にすることなんて、早々ないと思います。
それだけに、ガイドさんは優しそうでうるさくなさそうで、でも楽しませてくれる人がいいなぁなんて思っていたところ、偶然SNSでご縁をいただきました。
当日お会いして、事前のDMでのやり取りで感じた丁寧さはそのままに、思ったよりも面白く、そして思った以上にサービス精神あふれる方！
周りを見ると、うーんと思いたくなるようなぞんざいな態度・口調のガイドさんが多いなと感じるなか、最後まで敬語で対応いただきました。
また、何よりサービス精神がすごく、サプライズで新婚祝をくださったり、飲み物もコーヒーだけでなく他の種類も選べたり（カフェイン苦手なので諦めてましたが、ココアを選べました！）、太鼓岩でキンキンに冷えたジュースをくださったり、随所に心遣いを感じました。
お願いするには少し恥ずかしい写真も、津曲さんの方から提案してくださるので、たくさん思い出を残すことができました。
コダマの写真や屋久猿の写真など、屋久島を感じるお写真ももらえましたし、加工もバッチリ！撮り方の勉強にもなりました(^^)

My wife and I participated in a night tour. As we moved forward with a flashlight in hand through the darkness, we encountered various tropical creatures such as coconut crabs, stick insects, frogs, and hermit crabs! The guide's explanations were clear, and we had a great time observing nature. The starry sky we looked up at at the end was breathtakingly beautiful, and we could see the Milky Way clearly. It was a special time that made us forget our daily lives, and we were both deeply moved. This is a wonderful tour that allows you to fully experience the charm of the night in Miyako Island.

We were able to visit several places in one day that would have been difficult to reach on our own, and the lunch was luxurious and enjoyable. After the typhoon passed, we were able to go trekking in the clear weather, and the sunlight filtering through the trees created a beautiful contrast. Additionally, our guide provided detailed explanations of the plants and animals we encountered along the way, which changed our perspective and made the experience even better. There were many things I would have missed if I had been walking alone. By the time we descended to the parking lot, the temperature had risen, but most of the trail was shaded, and a cool breeze was blowing, making for a comfortable trekking experience.
台風一過の晴れ間にトレッキングができて、木々の間から入る日差しがよいコントラストになりとてもきれいでした。また、ガイドさんが道中に出会った動植物を丁寧に説明してくださったのでその視点で見ると全体的に見方が変わったのでとてもよかったです。一人で歩いていると見逃していたものが多くありました。駐車場まで下ると気温も高くなっていましたが、道中はほとんど木陰で涼しい風が吹いていたので快適なトレッキングでした。

A typhoon was approaching, but I was able to go trekking in light rain and a gentle breeze. At one point, the sun peeked through, illuminating the droplets on the trees, ferns, and moss, which looked beautiful. Along the way, I was able to see and touch both famous and lesser-known large Yakusugi trees up close, experiencing their immense size. However, it was disappointing that I could only see the iconic Jomon Sugi from a distance and couldn't fully appreciate its size.

The kind older brother gave us many pose suggestions and guided us with "Let's do it like this next!" which was really great! As expected from a professional, we were able to take wonderful photos with poses we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, and we were very satisfied! During the shoot, he also made sure we didn't close our eyes or look away, and after each shot, he would say, "This is really good!" which made the whole experience enjoyable! In the morning, I did stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) on the Miyara River, where mangroves thrive on both sides. It was my first time doing SUP, but they provided a proper lecture, and the pace was adjusted to match the group, allowing us to enjoy nature at a relaxed pace. In the afternoon, we had the opportunity for serious snorkeling. The route the guide took us on exceeded my expectations. You can receive photo data, but I recommend bringing your own camera. Depending on the weather, the visibility was amazing, allowing us to see deep into the ocean, along with the coral reefs and many fish swimming around—an incredible experience in nature.

The weather on the day was cloudy, but based on the cloud cover at the summit, we were able to adapt flexibly by reversing the order of visiting the crater and Kusasenri to ensure we could enjoy good views. I had a really great time. The tour guide was very kind, and while the walking was a bit fast, I understand it was necessary due to the crowds. However, I did get tired at the end in Arashiyama, and it was quite challenging for me to reach the bamboo grove (partly because it was hot...). I think it would be even better if we could split into two groups near the parking area: one for shopping and the other for exploring the bamboo grove. Thank you for your help. I was completely taken aback when I heard it would be an 11-hour round trip for the trekking. The engaging talk and thoughtful attention from Tsugimachi Guide (nicknamed "Director"), along with his extensive knowledge, made the day fly by. The dialect quiz was especially fun, and I still think back on it fondly after returning home!
Moreover, the last stop at Jomon Sugi was so moving that it brought tears to my eyes. I now understand why it's said to be a place you should visit at least once in your lifetime. Choosing Yakushima for our honeymoon was definitely the right decision.
Tsugimachi Guide mentioned that those who see Jomon Sugi never get divorced, so if you wish for a happy marriage, you should definitely go! Thank you once again, Tsugimachi Guide!
往復11時間と聞いて完全にビビった形でスタートしたトレッキング。
津曲ガイド（愛称：監督）の飽きさせないトークや細かな気配り、豊富な知識であっという間の1日でした。特に方言クイズはとても面白く帰宅後も思い出してホッコリしてます笑
また、最後の縄文杉は自然と涙が出るくらい感動しました。一生に一度は行くべき場所と言われる意味がわかりました。
新婚旅行で屋久島を選んで大正解でした。
