It was a perfect night for a tour, and I had a great time with a friendly guide exploring Sagari-bana and searching for creatures, as well as stargazing. I learned many interesting facts about Iriomote Island, which made me love it even more. Being able to observe the Neowise comet at the beach was also an unforgettable memory.

We went as a family of three! The mangrove canoeing, limestone cave trekking, and Barasu Island were all more breathtaking and moving than we imagined. The tour guide was incredibly kind and easy to talk to. Our 7-year-old child was excited and enjoyed the adventure! If you go to Iriomote Island, this is definitely a must-do! I also hope to bring my mother next time. Thank you very much!

We participated in a two-day trekking tour as a couple aged 68 and 64.

On the first day, we took the Jomon Sugi course. We were overwhelmed by the nature of Yakushima, and with the appropriate advice from our guide, we completed the course without experiencing any muscle pain. I commend myself for deciding to join this trek! Although we exercise every weekend, we realized that a 10-hour trek was a bit too much for us as beginners at our age.

On the second day, we did the Shirakawa Unsuikyo + Taiko Rock full-day course. There was also a half-day course for Shirakawa Unsuikyo, but we made the right choice by selecting this course! We were amazed by Taiko Rock, and while listening to our guide's passionate explanations about nature, we could truly feel the strength of Yakushima's water and plants with our eyes and minds.

I sincerely feel that participating in this tour was a great decision. As a resident of Shinjuku, Tokyo, I joined during the COVID-19 situation! I was conscious of keeping my distance, so it was unfortunate that I couldn't converse much with the guide and the two nice young men.

I hope that once the COVID-19 situation is over, many people with a love for nature will visit Yakushima and experience the greatness of the island and its guides.

トレッキング初回の68歳と64歳の夫婦で、二日間のトレッキングに参加。
初日は縄文杉コース。屋久島の自然に圧倒されての高揚心とガイドさんの適切なアドバイスを受けて、無事に筋肉痛も生じることなくコース終了。今回の参加決心を自画自賛！夫婦ともに毎週末に運動してはいますが、初心者には10時間トレッキングは年齢的に限界だったと実感。
2日目は白水雲水峡＋太鼓岩一日コース。白水雲水峡半日コースも有りましたが、このコースを選んで正解!太鼓岩に圧倒されたし、ガイドさんの自然への愛着を込めた説明を聞きながら、屋久島の水と植物の力強さを、目と頭で感じ取れました。
心からツアー参加して良かったと思います。コロナ騒動の最中に東京新宿区在住者としての参加！出来るだけ一歩離れる事を意識していたので、ガイドさんや二人の好青年と充分に会話できなかったことが残念でした！
コロナ感染が無くなり、屋久島とガイドさんの素晴らしさを知るために、自然への愛着を持った多くの人が訪れることを望みます。

I was able to enjoy a packed itinerary efficiently. My 65-year-old parents also participated, and our guide, Komatsu, was very kind in explaining and supporting us, so there were no issues at all! I made the reservation just after 7 PM the day before, but they handled it smoothly, which was really great!

We participated with two children and four people in total. The night safari was an exciting adventure. The guides were very kind and supportive to the children, helping us find many creatures, and we encountered more animals than we expected. They provided detailed explanations about the creatures, Ishigaki Island, and the starry sky. It was nice to have a more intimate and private feel compared to larger tours. The starry sky and shooting stars were a lucky treat, and they also taught us about many constellations. We were even shown a beautiful night view, making it a memorable tour. Thank you for accommodating us despite the last-minute reservation! The mangrove SUP was fantastic, with the guide's thorough explanations about various creatures, plants, and the unique species of Iriomote Island.

During the afternoon snorkeling at Barasu Island, we were blessed with great weather and enjoyed observing various fish species, including Nemo (clownfish), in the highly transparent coral reefs.

For those who will be participating, I highly recommend both activities when visiting Ishigaki Island and Iriomote Island! It's enjoyable for couples, seniors, and families with children. Also, it's best to bring minimal luggage! The guide will take plenty of photos, and being light on your feet makes the experience even more enjoyable.

I participated in a popular tour that covers tourist spots in the northern region. There are often cases where the distance from the parking lot to the facilities is considerable, so it's necessary to take measures against the heat.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dolphin shows and manatee learning experiences at the Churaumi Aquarium have been canceled, and the shows at Ryukyu Village were shortened in both time and content, so I recommend checking their website in advance.

However, all facilities have implemented thorough infection prevention measures, including temperature checks and alcohol disinfection (including awamori disinfection) upon entry, and we were able to enjoy sightseeing and meals while maintaining social distance. The buses also ensured disinfection upon boarding, which made me feel safe participating.

北部の観光地を網羅している人気のツアーに参加しました。駐車場から施設までの距離があったりするケースが多く暑さ対策必要です。
コロナ禍で美ら海水族館のイルカショーやマナティ学習体験などは中止されており、琉球村のショーは時間も内容も短縮されていたので、事前にHPで確認するのをお勧めします。
ただどの施設も感染予防対策が徹底されており、入館時は検温、アルコール消毒(泡盛消毒も)あり、ソーシャルディスタンスで見学や食事を楽しむことが出来ました。バスも乗車時にも必ず消毒していたので安心して参加出来ました。

I paddled through the mangroves on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP). As a beginner, I learned how to use the SUP and some tips, and it was challenging yet very enjoyable to avoid trees and navigate the winding shallow river. The scenery along the way was also wonderful. There was a rain shower, and I got soaked, but it was a great experience that felt very much like Iriomote Island. The view of the waterfall was stunning as well. Since I got completely drenched, I thought a waterproof camera or phone would be necessary.

I didn't go snorkeling at Barasu Island, but I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle swimming from the boat! The limestone cave was more rugged than I expected and very impressive. It had a completely different atmosphere compared to the caves I've visited before. It was a valuable experience.

I also took many beautiful photos, which became great memories! Thank you very much.

鍾乳洞は思ってたより道が険しくて、迫力満点でした。今まで行った観光地の鍾乳洞と全然違う雰囲気です。貴重な体験できました。
綺麗な写真もたくさん撮っていただき良い思い出になりました！

It was my first time doing SAP, but I got used to it quickly. I wasn't confident in my physical strength, but I appreciate that you matched my pace!

The guide was very kind, and perhaps due to luck, we encountered a total of four coconut crabs, a habu snake, and various insects and frogs whose names I forgot. Once we got to the beach, it was truly a "starry sky"; we could even see which direction the Milky Way was in, and the Big Dipper was clearly visible. Everything was condensed into a short amount of time, so I highly recommend it for a short stay.

Due to heavy rain, we couldn't enter Shurijo Castle, which we arrived at by 9:00. As a result, we got to Okinawa World early and were able to enjoy the Eisa show starting at 10:30, as well as various experiences like the cave exploration and dressing up! Even if you can visit Shurijo Castle, I recommend watching the Eisa show first at Okinawa World before the cave exploration!

I participated in the night safari and stargazing. I honestly didn't have high expectations for the night safari, but thanks to our guide, Christian, who is a great person, we were able to see 5 or 6 coconut crabs! I can't believe we actually got to see them!

As for the stargazing, there were so many stars that I didn't even know where to look; it felt like I was being drawn in.

If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be that I wished there were blankets to lie on the sand while stargazing (even though it’s a beach, lying directly on the sand at night is a bit much...). I would also appreciate learning more about the constellations.

That said, I really enjoyed myself and would definitely like to participate again next time.

The snorkeling around Baras Island was also fantastic, with high water clarity and a great sense of openness!
