This time, my parents were traveling to Osaka, so I searched for a bus tour and signed up for this lunch plan. When I heard the story, they went to Kiyomizu Temple to make it in time for the departure, but there was no bus. They hurriedly called the office and were told that the bus was heading to Kinkaku-ji, so they had to take a taxi. When I asked other guests, they said that the bus left without confirming attendance 10 or 15 minutes before the meeting time.

I was really disappointed to hear that, especially since we were looking forward to it.

For future reference, it would be better to confirm attendance. This was the first time something like this happened, and it was especially frustrating since they weren't late. I can imagine they felt anxious without the bus.

今回、両親が大阪旅行するということで、バスツアーを捜してこちらの昼食つきプランを申し込みました。話を聞いたところ、清水寺で出発時間に間に合うように行ったのにバスがなかった、とあわてて事務所に電話すると金閣寺に向かってるから追いかけてくれ、と両親はタクシーを拾い向かったと云いました。ほかの客に聞いたところ、集合時間の１０分か１５分前に点呼確認もしないで出発したといいました。
せっかく楽しみにしてこちらもそんなことになったのかと思ったら大変だったし私も残念でした。

今後のためにも点呼はした方がいいです。そんなこと初めてです。それも時間に遅れていったわけではないのに。バスがなくて不安だったと思います。

Unfortunately, it started to rain heavily after the ship arrived, but despite the high waves, the driver was skilled, and we were able to disembark safely. Initially, I thought it would be fine just to see Gunkanjima from a distance, but after hearing the explanations at the museum we visited just before landing, actually stepping foot on the island and being able to glimpse what it was like back then was a deeply moving experience.

あいにく、船が到着してからは大雨になってしまいましたが、波が高かったにもかかわらず、運転手さんが上手だったのか、無事に上陸することが出来ました。当初、軍艦島自体は、遠くから見るだけでもいいのかなと思っていましたが、直前に見学したミュージアムの説明を聞いてからの上陸で、当時の様子がうかがえる上陸は、感慨深いものがありました。

I was grateful that they came to pick me up at the hotel. After driving for a while from the city, we took a dark road with no people. Once we passed through a narrow jungle path, we arrived at the local exploration site! We searched for wildlife along the rocky coastline. Unlike during the day, the tranquility and the sound of the waves were pleasant. Then, we discovered a coconut crab! Its purple shell was mysterious! After exploring the coast, we moved to a spot for stargazing. Although the moonlight was a bit bright, the sky was filled with stars welcoming us. Fortunately, we even saw a shooting star. I was able to spend a happy time.

ホテルまで迎えに来ていただけるので助かりました 市街地からしばらく走ると、人気のない真っ暗な道を行きます。ジャングルの細道を抜けると、現地探索場所に到着‼️ 海沿いの岩場で野生の生物を捜索。昼間とは違い、静寂の中、波音が心地よかった すると、ヤシガニを発見‼️ 紫色に光った殻が神秘的❗️海岸探索を後にして、星空探索の場所に移動。月明かりが少し明るかったけど、満天の星が出迎えてくれました。そこへ幸運にも、流れ星が。幸せな時間を過ごすことができました

I thoroughly enjoyed the night in Ishigaki Island. We set off at 8 PM and ran through the darkness, which felt mysterious. The atmosphere along the coastline at night was different from during the day, and we encountered a coconut crab and a hermit crab that can only be seen at night. After that, we went to an observatory with a great view, where the moonlight was a bit bright, but the starry sky was magnificent. My husband and daughter were thrilled to see shooting stars. Listening to the sound of owls, the night view was beautiful as well.

I was worried about whether I could land due to the heavy rain in northern Kyushu, Nagasaki Prefecture, but I'm glad I was able to land safely. Although it was light rain, learning about the history of Gunkanjima and being able to land and explore was a very good experience. I also visited the digital museum, which was a great place for preliminary study and very worthwhile, so I highly recommend it to anyone participating.

長崎県の九州北部の豪雨で上陸できるのか、不安でしたが、無事上陸できてよかったです。小雨ではあったものの、軍艦島の歴史を学び、上陸、見学できたことは非常に良い体験になりました。デジタルミュージアムも付けましたが、事前の予習には非常に良い場所で見応えもありましたので、参加されるかたはぜひおすすめします。

Awesome day tour lead by a very knowledgeable and funny tour guide Kana-san!
We were a little unlucky with the weather however Mt Fuji was visible for a very limited time throughout the day. Would highly recommend for anyone with limited time in Tokyo as a must see!
Lake Ashi cruise was also beautiful and gave us another brief view of Mt Fuji as the clouds parted.

They provide transportation to the hotel! The guides kept the atmosphere lively in the car and gave various explanations during the tour, making it a lot of fun. I was able to see rare island hermit crabs, which was a wonderful experience!

ホテルまで送迎をしてくれます！車内でもガイドの方々が盛り上げてくださったり、ツアー中も様々な説明をしてくださるので、とても楽しかったです。レアな島のヤドカリを見ることができ、とても良い経験ななりました！

I thoroughly enjoyed places like the Chinese Grave, Kabira Bay, and the native palm forest without getting bored. At Kabira Bay, those who wished could ride a glass-bottom boat to see the coral reefs and beautiful fish. What impressed me the most was when our guide took out a sanshin and sang Okinawan folk songs during the scenic drive near the last dam. I was moved as he sang three songs.

唐人墓、川平湾、ヤシの木原生林など、飽きることなく楽しめました。
川平湾では希望者はグラスボートにのってサンゴ礁やきれいな魚をみれて楽しめました。
私が一番印象に残り良かったと思ったのは、ガイドさんが最後のダムの車窓観光あたりから三線を持ち、沖縄民謡を歌って下さったことです。３曲も歌って下さり感動しました。

First, it's great that you can take a bus directly from the accommodation to the trailhead. I appreciated that the guide took many photos for us.

However, there were quite a few concerning points.

1. The dedicated bus also had customers from other companies. Each group departed and returned separately. At the beginning of the hike, the guide mentioned that since it was a dedicated bus, we could take our time. I thought it was going to be a relaxed tour. However, since the other group's return was earlier, I felt rushed to return as well, likely to avoid keeping that group waiting for too long. Even though my feet hurt and I couldn't walk quickly, the guide walked ahead alone. In contrast, I noticed that other guides were walking at a pace that matched their customers while providing various explanations. I was honestly surprised to see a guide moving ahead and leaving the customers behind. It was disappointing, and I felt there was a lack of consideration.

By the way, it seems that buses from the trailhead run until 6 PM. So, for those who want to walk at their own pace, you should be able to catch this bus. Therefore, if you prefer to go at your own pace, this tour may not be suitable for you, as you will have to keep up with the other group, making it quite tough in the latter half if you go slowly.

2. The enjoyment of this tour varies depending on the guide.

The male guide in his 60s who was in charge seemed to lack deep knowledge about nature overall. He provided brief explanations of famous spots at key points, but for other topics, he often didn't share information unless asked. There were also instances where he didn't know the answers to my questions. I overheard other guides providing much deeper explanations. I felt I had a rather unfortunate experience with this guide.

We specifically paid for a guide because we wanted to learn various things. I would like all guides to be thoroughly educated to provide information that matches the cost. When you end up with a guide who isn't knowledgeable, it doesn't differ much from going on your own and researching information. I felt it was a waste of money.

During the hike, I wanted to learn more about Yakushima's nature, but most of the conversation revolved around his personal life. Honestly, I wished he would refrain from such discussions while we were hiking in Yakushima. I wanted to ask about plants and animals, but he seemed to lack knowledge in that area, which was very disappointing. Additionally, I felt that because we were in our 20s, he spoke to us in a casual tone rather than using polite language. While that was fine, there were several moments where his tone was quite harsh and intimidating. There was a moment when I wanted to take photos at a certain spot, but he suddenly said in a stern tone that if we didn't hurry, we wouldn't get to take pictures, which made me feel rushed. I was surprised because I expected the guide to inform us about the pace from the beginning and lead us accordingly. I thought he lacked consideration in this regard as well.

Moreover, it seemed that the guide smoked during the hike, and the smell was a bit strong.

If you want to learn a lot about Yakushima, I recommend booking with a service where you can find out in advance how much information the guides possess, rather than this one.

If you think you might get lost on the way to Jomon Sugi or want someone to take photos for you, this tour might be a good option.

まず、宿から登山口までバスで直接行けること。
写真をたくさん撮ってくれたことはガイドさんを付けて良かったと思いました。

しかし、少々気になる点が多かったです。

1.専用バスには、他の会社から申し込まれたお客さんもいらっしゃっいました。それぞれの会社のグループで出発し帰ってきます。歩き始めの頃には、専用バスなのでゆっくり進もう。とガイドさんから言われていたので余裕のあるツアーで良いなと思っていました。しかし、他のグループの帰りが早く、そのグループをバスで長く待たせない為だと思いますが、早く帰るよと急かされるようになりました。足が痛く、早く歩けなくても、ガイドさんはスタスタと先に1人で歩いて行ってしまいました。他のグループを見てみると、ガイドさんは色々な説明をしながら、お客さんに合わせて歩いていました。
ガイド1人が先にドンドン進んでお客を置いていくという状況に正直ビックリしました。残念でした。配慮が足りないのではと思います。

ちなみに、登山口から帰りのバスは18時まで出ているようです。ゆっくり自分のペースで歩きたい方でも、このバスに間に合うはずです。そのため、自分のペースで進みたい方は、このツアーを申込むべきではありません。他のグループに合わせないといけなくなるため、ゆっくり進むと後半かなりきつくなります。

2.このツアーはガイドさんによって楽しさが変わってきます。

担当してくれた60代の男性ガイドさんは、自然のことなど全体的に知識が深くないようでした。要所要所で有名スポットの説明は軽くしてくれますが、他のことは、自分から聞かないと教えてくれないことが多かったです。また、聞いても知らないようで教えてくれなかったこともありました。他のガイドさんは、かなり深い説明をしているのを通りすがりに聞くことができました。かなりハズレのガイドさんだったと思います。

わざわざお金を払ってガイドをお願いしています。色々な事を知りたいからお願いしているんです。それに見合った勉強をガイドさん全員に徹底してもらいたいです。ハズレのガイドさんが当たったときには、自分で色々な情報を調べて個人で行くのと大差ありません。お金の無駄だと思いました。

登山中は、屋久島の自然について色々聞きたかったのですが、ほとんどがプライベートの話をされました。屋久島まで来て、登山をしているときに、そのような話は正直やめてほしかったです。植物や動物のことなど自然のことを色々聞きたかったのですが、知識があまり無いような方で、大変残念でした。
また、私たちが20代女性だったからだと思いますが、敬語ではなくタメ口で話されました。それは良いのですが、かなり口調がきつく、怖い印象を受ける場面がいくつかありました。写真を撮りたい場所があったのですが、急にキツイ口調で、早く辿り着かないと写真撮らないよみたいなことを言われ、すごく急かされた場面がありました。そういうことは、ガイドさんが最初からペースのことを教えてくれ、導いてくれるのかと思っていたので急に言われびっくりしました。ここでも、配慮の足りない方だと思いました。

また、ガイドさんが登山中タバコを吸われる方だったようで、少々匂いがきつかったです。

屋久島のことを多く学びたい方は、ここで申し込むのではなく、ガイドさんがどれだけの情報を持っているのか前もって分かるところから申し込んだ方がいいかと思います。

縄文杉までの道に迷いそうな方。写真を撮ってくれる人が欲しい。という方はこのツアーに申し込んでもいいかもしれません。

Since high waves were expected, I went snorkeling near Barasu Island in the morning. In the afternoon, I did stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in the mangroves of Iriomote Island. I was thrilled to see schools of fish that I had never seen before while snorkeling. The mangrove tour in the afternoon allowed me to feel the great outdoors, and I really enjoyed it. The tour instructor was also very kind, making for a very satisfying trip!

波が高いと予想されていたので、午前中にバラス島近辺でシュノーケリング。
午後は西表島のマングローブでSUP
シュノーケリングでは見たことのない魚たちの群れを見ることができて大感激でした。
午後のマングローブツアーでは大自然を感じることができ、とてもENJOYできました。
ツアーのインストラクターの方もとても親切で大満足な旅でした！

I used the service on September 8. I was the only woman… the rest were mostly families or friends, and almost all were from overseas. I felt really lonely, but the tour guide talked to me, so I didn’t feel too lonely. I was very satisfied because we could visit all the must-see spots in Kyoto in one go. The tour itself involves taking a bus to the destination, and then everyone can explore freely, as long as they return by the bus departure time, so I think it's perfect for those who don’t want to travel in large groups. It was hot, and I got a bit exhausted, but I had a very fulfilling time. The tour guide also gave helpful advice on how to visit efficiently and see great places. If I go to Kyoto again, I would like to use this service. Next time, I’ll bring someone with me!

9月8日に利用しました。女1人は私だけ…あとは家族連れか友達とかほぼ海外の方で占めていました。すっごく心細かったのですが添乗員さんが話しかけて下さってあまり寂しい思いはしませんでした。京都と言えば！の所を一気に周れるので大満足でした。ツアー自体は目的地までバスで行って、あとは各々好きに行動してバスの出発時刻までには戻ってきて下さいというシステムなので大人数で行動するのが嫌だという方にもぴったりだと思います。暑さもあり、バテてしまいましたがとても充実した時間を過ごす事ができました。添乗員さんもこういう風に行くと効率がよくいい場所見れますよとアドバイス下さったので助かりました。また京都行くことあれば利用したいです。今度は誰かを連れて行きます笑

The weather was bad from the first day, and after several communications, I was finally able to participate on the third day. I was worried about my 3-year-old child at night, but they were overjoyed! They kept saying, "The stars are beautiful!" It was a very satisfying tour, especially since we saw shooting stars.

１日目から天候が悪く、何度も連絡をくださり3日目でやっと参加出来ました。夜中で３歳の子供が心配でしたが、大喜び！「星きれいだねー」と何度も言ってました。
流れ星が見え、大満足のツアーでした。

I had a great time.
The meeting point was Palette Kumoji near the prefectural office.
Since it's also a waiting area for other sightseeing buses, it was somewhat crowded.
However, the tour guide efficiently checked the reservation list and guided us to the bus.
The bus was a large sightseeing bus that could accommodate 50 to 60 people.
Since I had small children with me, we reserved two seats, but there was enough space, and we were allowed to move to any available seats, which was very appreciated.
We visited various sightseeing spots and headed to our main destination, the Churaumi Aquarium.
We spent a short 150 minutes enjoying a meal while watching the large tank and thoroughly enjoyed the dolphin show before heading back.
While it had elements of a whirlwind tour, I think it's perfect for those who want to hit the major tourist spots.
The tour guide's stories were interesting, covering topics from Okinawa's base issues to road conditions; it might not resonate with everyone, but I found it fascinating.
Also, since there is quite a bit of walking at the aquarium, Manzamo, and Ryukyu Village, a stroller is essential.

とても楽しませてもらいました。
集合は県庁近くのパレット久茂地。
他の観光バスの待ち合わせエリアでもあるので、多少混雑。
ですが、添乗員さんがテキパキと予約表を確認してバスへ案内してくれました。
バスは50～60名乗れる大型の観光バス。
小さな子連れだったので席は2名分の確保でしたが、余裕があるので、空いている席に移動してもよいとのことで、とてもありがたかったです。各観光地を周り、最大の目的地の美ら海水族館へ。
150分と決して長くない時間を使って、大水槽を見ながら食事をし、イルカショーを堪能して帰ってきました。
弾丸ツアー的な要素ありますが、王道観光地を押さえておきたい人にはぴったりなツアーだと思います。添乗員さんのお話もおもしろく、沖縄の基地問題から道路事情まで、興味ない人には響かないかもしれませんが笑、私は興味深く聞いてました。
あと水族館や万座毛、琉球村は結構歩くので、ベビーカーは必須です。

The driver was like a guide, and their explanations and guidance were excellent and efficient. They took many photos, and everyone was very happy. Thank you very much. I wish we had a bit more time; three hours wasn't enough, so I recommend five hours.

ガイドさんのような運転手さんで、説明も案内もてきぱきと素晴らしかったです。写真もたくさん撮って頂きみんな大喜びでした。有り難うございました。もう少し時間に余裕が有ったら良かったなと、3時間では足りませんので、5時間がお勧めですね。

On my first visit to Yakushima, there were so many places I wanted to see. I wondered if I could walk for 11 hours, but the sense of accomplishment when I completed the ambitious course was indescribable. Of course, Jomon Sugi was amazing, but even the scenery along the way was wonderful. I walked at quite a pace, and although my stay was short, I think it's great for those who want to see a lot in a limited time. However, it can be quite tiring. I don't think it's suitable for those who want to take their time, but since I wanted to be efficient, I thought it was a good tour.

初めての屋久島で沢山見たいところがありました。11時間も歩けるかな？と思いながらも欲張りコースを歩ききった時の達成感はなんとも言えません。縄文杉なども勿論素晴らしかったですが、ただ歩いているその辺の景色も素晴らしい。結構なペースで歩きましたが、滞在時間が少な行けど、あれもこれも行きたい人には良いかなと思います。ただそこそこしんどいと思います。ゆっくりまわりたい人には向かないと思いますが、私は効率よく回りたかったので良いツアーだったと思います。

I couldn't relax because of the heavy rain... The café I wanted to visit was also closed... I was really down about this. I want to try again on a sunny day. I did manage to find some star sand, though.

We were a family of three Japanese people, but for some reason, our guide was an American woman with three years of experience. I expressed my hopes and my lack of confidence in my stamina in the car on the way there, mentioning that I wanted some time to enjoy the scenery at our favorite spots. After having lunch, we were told that the bus would depart at 6 PM, which made me think we had plenty of time. However, in the second half of the tour, we were constantly rushed, and in the end, we missed the last bus by 30 seconds. I believe it would have been different with a more experienced guide. It was a bit disappointing since we chose a private tour that was more expensive than others, investing a lot of money and time.

日本人3人家族でしたが、なぜかアメリカ人のガイド経験3年の女性でした。
気に入ったポイントで景色をゆっくり見る時間もほしいなど、こちらの希望や体力にあまり自信がないことを行きの車の中で伝えました。
お弁当を食べてから、出発は6時のバスでとのことで余裕あるのかと思いましたが、後半は終始急かされてしかも30秒最終バスに間に合わないという結果になりました。
もう少し経験豊富なガイドさんなら違ったと思います。大金と時間をかけて行くので、他より高いプライベートツアーにしたのに少し残念でした。

You can have a great time even in a short half-day. The guide was very nice and shared various interesting trivia along with the history. The fact that we ended at Kōfuku-ji and could take our time exploring the National Treasure Hall was also a highlight.

半日という短い時間の中でも十分楽しめます。ガイドさんもとてもいい方で歴史はもちろん楽しい雑学など色々おしえて戴きました。最後が興福寺なので国宝館をゆっくり見学できるのも魅力でした。

You can fully enjoy the scenery of Taketomi. On the day we visited, fortunately, the weather was too good. It was really hot. We were grateful for the bus tour. However, there were also many people using rental bicycles. I felt it was too hot to manage that. Riding the water buffalo cart was a great experience. The young man's singing and guidance were also good.

This time, I participated with my elementary school daughter. Since I'm a paper driver, I often use sightseeing buses. The guide was a woman. As other reviews mentioned, we were able to tour very efficiently, and since it was my first time in Ishigaki Island, it was truly great. The Kabira Bay, which I had always seen in photos, was indeed beautiful. I think it's worth taking a ride on the glass-bottom boat. We also got to see trees that can only be found in the Yaeyama Islands. The guide kindly took photos for us, so it will be a memorable experience. The food was just average. I recommend this for those visiting Ishigaki for the first time.

今回は小学生の娘と二人で参加させてもらいました。ペーパードライバーなこともあって、観光バスはよく利用します。
ガイドさんは女性でした。
他の方の口コミの通り、とても効率よく回れて石垣島は初めてだったので、本当によかったです。
いつも写真で見ていた川平湾はやはり綺麗でした。グラスボートは乗った方がいいと思います。
八重山にしかない木も見れました。ガイドさんが快く写真を撮って下さったので、思い出に残ります。
料理はまあ、普通です。
石垣旅行が初めての方にはおすすめです。

We had a Awesome day spent at Edo Wonderland! It was my first time in Japan and was definitely worth the visit! I highly recommend this place if you have time to stop by!

When I visited Nara for the first time, I wanted to see everything, but it's not easy to tour efficiently on your own. I participated on a hot day, and traveling by bus was fantastic. Especially, enjoying matcha while looking at the beautiful garden at Jiko-in brought me peace of mind. I would love to join again in a different season if I have the chance.

初めて奈良に行きあれもこれも見たいと思っても個人では効率よく観光はできません。暑い日に参加しましたがバスでの移動は最高でした。特に慈光院での綺麗なお庭を眺めながらの抹茶をのみ、心が落ち着きました。また、きかいがあったら違う季節に参加したいと思います。

I visited Iriomote Island for the first time this time. I chose this tour where we could experience both the sea and mangroves in a limited time, and it was a great decision!
With the help of a kind guide, my family and I were able to share many first-time emotions together!
We took a lot of pictures, and since we usually don't take family photos, it became the best memory! I think this tour is highly recommended as we were able to fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island with the seawater, freshwater, and greenery!

今回初めて西表島を訪れました。限られた時間の中で海もマングローブも出来るこちらのツアーを選びましたが大正解！
親切なガイドさんのもと親子で初の感動を沢山共有できました！

Since there were guests from abroad, there were also guides available in English. The food was delicious, and we also had the experience of making washi paper. The guide also shared some secret photography spots, making our time enjoyable. Shirakawa-go is definitely worth visiting again during the autumn foliage and snowy seasons.

外国からのお客様もいらっしゃったので、英語での案内もありました。食事も美味しく、紙すき体験もしました。
ガイドさんから秘密の撮影スポットも教えて頂き楽しく過ごしました。
白川郷は紅葉と雪の季節に再び行く価値ありです。

With transportation included, you can easily visit three islands. This tour covers the highlights of each island and is ideal for those experiencing remote islands for the first time. When crossing to Yufu Island, sitting at the front may result in getting splashed, so if you're concerned about that, consider sitting towards the back.

送迎付きで、3島を手軽に回ることができます。それぞれの見どころを抑えており、離島初体験のツアーとしては最適といえます。由布島に渡るときは、先頭に座ると水がかかる可能性がありますので、気になる人は後方に座ることも考慮してください。

I was picked up at Kyoto Station and requested a tour of Nara. They made it a flexible and free travel experience. Additionally, the driver-guide speaks English, so I always ask for them when I have foreign customers.

I participated with a friend. It was a clear day in late August, and the temperature was high. Besides us, there was only one young student couple around 20 years old, making it a small group.

We gathered before dawn and entered the mountains from Shiratani Unsuikyo, then after seeing Taiko Rock, we headed to the Jomon Sugi course, which required over 12 hours of hiking.

As a 30-year-old office worker who doesn't exercise much, it was quite tough, but I managed to keep up with the group and completed the hike. The limited time for the return bus made the descent particularly challenging as we had to move quickly. The next day, as expected, I was hit with severe muscle pain, which made the innkeeper laugh out loud.

Our guide was a man over 70, and it was impressive how smoothly he climbed. He was a bit quiet and didn't provide many explanations, but his experience was evident, and I felt secure following him.

There were moments when the rain intensified (which I believe is normal for Yakushima hiking), but overall the weather was good, and I had a great time. If I have the opportunity, I would like to try an overnight course next time.

友人と２人で参加しました。８月下旬のよく晴れた日で、気温も高かったです。我々の他には、20歳前後の若い学生カップルが１組いるのみで、少人数のグループでした。
朝は真っ暗なうちから集合し、白谷雲水峡から入山して、太鼓岩を見たら縄文杉コースへ、という流れで、12時間以上の登山が必要です。
30歳の特に運動もしていないオフィスワーカーにはなかなかきつかったですが、グループの足を引っ張ることもなく、何とか歩ききることができました。
帰りのバスの時間が限られているので、特に下山する時のペースが速かったのがきつかったです。翌日は予想通り激しい筋肉痛になって民宿のおっちゃんに爆笑されました。
ガイドさんは70歳超えの男性でしたが、スイスイと登っていくのがすごかったです。無口な方なのか、あまり多くの解説はありませんでしたが、ベテラン感がすごく、安心して着いていくことができました。
途中雨が強くなるなどしましたが（屋久島登山では普通のことと思いますが）、全体的に天気もよく、とても楽しめました。機会があれば今度は泊まりコースに挑戦してみたいです。

I participated in this tour on the day of heavy rain, May 18. Fortunately, we were able to reach Jomon Sugi, but on the way back, there were places where the road had collapsed due to rising water. While other hikers were turning back, our guide proceeded without hesitation through the waterfall-like path, leading us forward. By the time we returned to the hiking trail, the water had risen to knee level in some areas. Just when we thought we could relax after getting back to the trail and boarding the bus, we found ourselves blocked by a fallen tree, preventing the bus from moving forward. In that situation, our guide took the initiative to go outside and cut the fallen tree with a saw. When we had to spend the night on the bus, the guide went out in the heavy rain to find a way back and called for help. Throughout the return from Jomon Sugi, the guide supported not only us but everyone else, continuously moving without rest. Their decisiveness and ability to take action were remarkable. Thanks to them, I was able to follow along with peace of mind. If it weren't for our guide... I am truly filled with gratitude. Thank you very much. Next time, I want to take on the Shiratani Unsuikyo challenge again.

このツアーに参加させていただいたのは、5月18日の豪雨の日でした。
ラッキーなことに縄文杉までは行くことができましたが、帰りは増水により道が決壊している場所もありました。他の登山者が引き返してくる中ガイドさんは何の躊躇もなく滝のようになった道を突き進み先導してくれました。登山道まで戻ってくる頃には膝上まで水が上がってきているところもありました。登山道まで戻ってきてバスに乗り込んでホッとしたのもつかの間。倒れた大木で道を塞がれてしまいバスが前に進めない状況。そんな中ガイドさんは率先して外に出てくれ、倒れた大木をノコギリで切ってくれました。またバスの中で一夜を過ごすことになった時も、ガイドさんが豪雨の中外に出
てくれて帰れる道を探してくれたり、助けを呼びに行ってくれました。縄文杉の帰りから私たちだけではなく、他の皆のこともサポートしてくれ、休むことなくずっと動いてくれていました。決断力と行動力が素晴らしい方でした。おかげで安心してついていくことができました。ガイドさんがいなかったら…。本当に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。ありがとうございました。
次回は白谷雲水峡をリベンジしたいです。
