We were the only Japanese couple, but our guide Betty provided thorough explanations in Japanese, which was really helpful. There was traffic on New Year's Day, but we were able to see everything as planned, and I am grateful to the driver as well. This year, as I turn sixty, it has become the best memory for me.

We gathered at Nagoya Station in the morning, took attendance, and boarded the bus. Since there were mostly foreign tourists, the guide spoke multiple languages. There were many participants from Southeast Asia, but there were also explanations in Japanese, so there were no particular issues. Given the diverse nationalities, the explanations were provided in each language in turn. The guide handed out maps of Shirakawa-go and Takayama and went around explaining at each seat, which I felt was a thoughtful approach. Once we arrived at the destination, a meeting place and time were set, so we did not have to act as a group and could explore freely. There were quite a few participants in the tour.

I missed a shooting star because I was distracted, though (laughs). The stories from both guides were enjoyable, making the tour fly by! Thank you!

I had prepared rain boots, but on the day I ended up wearing sneakers, so I declined to use them. However, since it was raining, I think the rain boots would have been better. My wife was also wearing a long skirt, which made it difficult for her to climb the cliff. Additionally, since we didn't have hats, it seems like her earlobes were bitten by bugs. A hat is essential, and if possible, a jacket with a hood would be better for neck protection.

Although the time was short and it was a bit hectic, I was able to do a lot of sightseeing, and it was great to see the Churaumi Aquarium and the dolphin show. This year, there has been a lot of snowfall, which must be tough for the residents, but as a tourist, I was able to enjoy the wonderful scenery. Personally, I preferred Gokayama, which, although smaller in scale than Shirakawa-go, offered a calm and quiet atmosphere where I could feel the gentle passage of time.
I visited at the end of the year, so there was severe traffic to Shirakawa-go, and the tour was completed 1 hour and 40 minutes late. Since I was staying in Takayama, the delay didn't bother me, but those who have further travel plans should be cautious. As others have mentioned, it seems that going to Shirakawa-go first would allow for more time flexibility.
I think the guide was quite busy alternating between Japanese and English, but I was glad to hear various interesting stories.

I wanted to enjoy the night in Ishigaki Island, so I joined this tour. I was looking forward to seeing the stars, creatures, and insects that can only be seen here, but the star visibility index was only 9%, so I was disappointed that I couldn't see them. I thought it would be difficult to find creatures and insects, but the guide went to look for a coconut crab and found one, which was amazing! The clear explanations and the fact that they took photos and sent them to me via LINE at the end were great too. I think it depends on the weather and the season, but I had a valuable experience. I want to try again for a revenge tour.

On the first day of my trip, I dropped off my luggage at a hotel in front of Nara Station and was able to visit famous spots that beginners in Nara should see during the afternoon tour. It's much better than going on my own because I could listen to the guide's insightful stories, and since the admission fees were included, there was no hassle. I highly recommend it.

I almost circled Ishigaki Island, visiting various attractions. The bus guide provided detailed explanations, and we enjoyed a typical Okinawan lunch. It was more efficient for sightseeing than driving around with a rental car, especially since we could get off at the airport. It's a pity that the weather was cloudy.

There were moments when the tour was delayed due to weather, but I was very impressed that the schedule was adjusted and we arrived as planned.
This was my first trip to Gifu Prefecture, and there was a lot I didn't know. I appreciated how the bus tour staff provided advice to each person at various locations. What stood out particularly was how the tour guide shared insights while speaking with us. Even with free time, it was very reassuring to have guidance for our explorations.
Lastly, it was amazing that the tour guide could speak Chinese, English, and Japanese.
一部ツアーで遅れる場面(天候上)もあったが、スケジュールを調整されていて、予定通り着いた点は非常に感動した。
岐阜県については初めて旅行する場所であり、知らないことも多かった。その中でバスツアーさんが一人一人に各場所のアドバイス等をしていた点が良かった。特に良かったのが、ツアーガイドさんの知見も交えながら、お話してくださった点である。自由時間があっても、各人で目星をつけて散策するため、大変心強かった。
最後に中国語、英語、日本語を話せているのは凄かった。(今回のツアーガイドさんがかもしれないが)

This was my second time, but it was my husband's first visit to Okinawa! He was so moved by Okinawa that he was left speechless by the various places we experienced. I was told over the phone that the rental fee was 500 yen, but when I received them the day before, it was 1000 yen, and I was told that the guide would teach me how to put them on. ガイドさんはグループのみんなに、縄文杉は時間をかければ誰でもいけるが、ツアーとなると集団行動になり時間制限があって、17時を過ぎるとタクシー代が宿代以上にかかると話していました。
その点については、前日の電話での確認事項のときに、話しておいた方がいいと思います。

There were many inbound tourists. I wished they would clean the restrooms more frequently. Some were so dirty that they didn't seem like Japanese toilets. 😭

My first trip to Hokkaido was wonderful. Coming from a tropical region, it was my first time seeing the snow piled up. Lake Toya, the bear ranch, and Hell Valley were all fantastic. I think our guide, Mr. Onodera, had a tough time explaining in Japanese and Chinese for just two of us out of 32 participants, but he did it without complaint, and I truly appreciate it. I participated in a tour of Iriomote Island for the first time.
The night tour involves walking through thickets with a flashlight, searching for creatures near a small waterfall. Since it was winter, there weren't many animals, but the guide worked hard to find some. We were able to see hermit crabs, crabs, and fireflies.
The top recommendation is stargazing! Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but I was completely overwhelmed!! During the night tour, I was already moved by the density of stars I had never seen before, but the stargazing at the park recommended by the guide was truly amazing. It was undoubtedly one of the best experiences of my life. I lay on the grass in the park to gaze at the incredibly dense stars, searching for constellations, waiting for shooting stars, and chatting with other participants. It was a beautiful sky that I could look at forever without getting bored. At the end, the guide took some wonderful photos with the starry sky as the backdrop.

子供の頃にこの体験をしていたら、将来の夢や人生設計が変わっていたのでは？と思うほど、大人の心も震わせるような体験ができます。本当におすすめです。西表島旅行を計画されている方はお時間が許せば、ぜひ星空鑑賞も旅程に組み込んでください！！
