This was my first time participating. My children love bugs, so we were looking forward to it. However, I had given up on other tours since they required participants to be in elementary school or older, but just before the trip, I found this tour that allows participation from age 3 and made an immediate reservation.

It was cloudy around noon, so I was worried about the starry sky, but we were able to see a sky full of stars. Since we had a 4-year-old with us, I thought they might be scared in the dark, but they were happy to follow their siblings with the flashlights that were provided, one for each of us.

We were able to find large and small coconut crabs, purple land hermit crabs, and other creatures, making it a very enjoyable tour. Additionally, we received photos from the day via LINE after the experience tour ended.

After checking out, I was picked up and taken to the hotel, visited the Himeyuri Monument, had lunch on Kokusai Street, and was then dropped off at Naha Airport.

We passed through American Village, which was so cute and beautiful that I thought I would like to come back here next time.

Even though we couldn't go all the way around Ishigaki Island, it was easy to get around with a veteran guide on the bus. The hamburger for lunch was just okay. Taketomi Island had great weather, so much so that we felt the heat, and it was a unique experience being swayed by the water buffalo with our amusing male guide. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't much free time. I highly recommend it!
