Saijo-ji Gokoku was disappointing as there were restricted areas due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and I couldn't see Kudaka Island. However, at the Gangala Valley, there was a guide, and I was able to quietly enjoy Okinawa's history and mystery.

Fourth visit to Okinawa, solo trip.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, it was about time to travel again, and with the nationwide travel subsidy, the bus was almost full and bustling.
Churaumi Aquarium:
There used to be three whale sharks, but now there is only one, and the large tank looks lonely (-_-;) The dolphin show at Okichan Theater was enjoyable even for a solo traveler, with the children's cheers adding to the fun. They are so talented!!
Kouri Island:
I only visited the beach and the roadside station for souvenirs, so I was disappointed that I couldn't go to Heart Rock Tower. The bridge leading to Kouri Island is beautiful no matter when you visit.
Chatan American Village:
It's Christmas Town all year round. The delicious food left me not only in a good mood but also completely satisfied. The sunset at the end was the best.
I appreciate the long bus journey, safe driving, and the support from the guide.

I was quite surprised by the traffic on the way to the parking lot at Karato Market, but thanks to the driver's various considerations, such as encouraging participants to get out of the car and walk to the destination before reaching the parking lot, we were able to enjoy the market without wasting any time. The sushi made with local specialties like fugu and hamachi was fresh and very delicious! Eating sushi outside while looking at the Kanmon Bridge was the best. After that, the weather turned bad and it unfortunately rained, but the Tsunoshima Bridge and the shrine were still wonderful. It became a memorable tour. Thank you very much. I appreciate the driver's kind assistance throughout the long drive!

唐戸市場の駐車場につくまでの渋滞にはとても驚きましたが、
駐車場につく前に、車から参加者を下ろして目的地へ歩くよう促してくれたり、様々な配慮をして下さったおかげで無駄な時間なく市場を楽しむ事ができました。
フグやはまちなど名産品のお寿司が、新鮮でとても美味しかったです！
関門大橋を眺めながら外で食べるお寿司は最高でした。
その後は天気が崩れあいにくの雨でしたが、それでも角島大橋や神社はとても素晴らしかったです。

I arrived in Naha at noon and immediately joined a bus tour. This was my third time in Okinawa, but I enjoyed visiting new places like the Kariyushi DMM Aquarium, Umikaji Terrace, and Chatan American Village.

In particular, the American Village we visited last was exceptional, perfectly timed with the sunset. There were incredibly talented street musicians and Americans from the nearby military base walking around, making it feel like I was in a different country altogether.

Additionally, the guide was unbelievably skilled at explaining everything, so I didn't have a moment to doze off during the trip!

お昼に那覇に到着して、そのままバスツアーに参加させていただきました。
沖縄は3回目でしたが、かりゆしDMM水族館、ウミカジテラス、北谷アメリカンビレッジ、誰も初めての場所で楽しめました。
特に、最後に回ったアメリカンビレッジは、サンセットのタイミングとマッチして、格別だったなぁ。最高に歌の上手いストリートミュージシャンや米軍基地？から繰り出してきているアメリカ人が闊歩していたりして、まるで、日本じゃないみたいでした。

I was interested in the Valley of Gangala and participated in the tour. It was a great tour since it's quite difficult to access places like the Sefa Utaki without a rental car. When getting on the bus, the doors just opened without any announcement about which bus it was. I had to ask to confirm before boarding. There was no greeting until the end, and I didn't even know the driver's name.

Even during stops at tourist spots, if I didn't check, the time and meeting place were unclear. They said to meet at the parking lot, but there was no explanation about where that was, so I had no idea.

There was also no announcement about the drop-off location; the doors just opened. I noticed because I was looking outside, but the two people who were supposed to get off there (residents of Hakata) didn't realize it, and I had to call out to them to hurry and get off. What would have happened if they had been sleeping? It was nighttime, and they might not have known where they were... especially since they were from out of town!

There was no announcement about wearing seatbelts on the highway either. Rather than enjoying the experience, it left me with a lot to think about.

This time, I traveled without a car, but I wanted to go on a little trip before getting on the plane, so I chose this option. Two-thirds of the group chose Okinawa World. I chose the Gyokusendo Cave, and I enjoyed learning about Okinawa's nature and ancient stories. The guide was also very nice. At the beginning of the tour, we received a metal bottle filled with tea. I thought it was heavy and unnecessary, but since we walked quite a bit, my water supply might not have been enough. However, I wish they had informed us that the bottles would be distributed before getting off the bus.

Unfortunately, the bus seatbelt was broken, and there was trash in the seat, which is why I rated it ★-1. We arrived at the airport a little before 1 PM.

今回は車なしで旅行しましたが、飛行機に乗る前に少しだけ遠出したいなと思い選びました。2/3の方は沖縄ワールドを選ばれていました。
私はガンガラーの谷を選び、沖縄の自然や太古の話を知れて楽しかったです。ガイドさんもとてもよい方でした。ツアーの最初にお茶が入った金属のボトルをいただきます。重いのにいらないよーと思いましたが、それなりに歩いたので、手持ちの水だけでは足りなかったかもしれません。ただバスを降りる前にボトルが配られることを教えてほしかったなと思いました。
残念だったのは、バスのシートベルトが壊れていたことと、座席にゴミがあったことです。このため★-1としました。
13時少し前には空港に到着しました。

I was able to efficiently visit the sites and enjoyed a great lunch with the cable car included. The snowy scenery was beautiful. The driver's driving was careful and felt calm, which made me feel safe. The guidance through the headphones was also good. We departed at 8 AM and took a tour around Yakushima, which included lunch and felt like a great deal. The guide was kind and explained everything thoroughly, and I was able to buy a bag of tankan for just 100 yen. It's a place you wouldn't know about unless you're a local. We were also blessed with good weather, making it an enjoyable tour until 5 PM.

We had a fun departure with the veteran guide's lively talk!

We enjoyed the Okinawa vibe on a remote island accessible by bus, and then headed to the main attraction, the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. There was plenty of time allocated, so we could leisurely enjoy the aquarium without rushing, and we also got to visit facilities that are not easily accessible on our own, which greatly increased our satisfaction! Additionally, it was more affordable than going individually, making it a great value for money.

I was healed by the beautiful scenery of Lake Toya and the foot bath. I slipped and fell at Hell Valley, but the steam and the view were wonderful. Showa Shinzan and Mount Usu were also clear and looked really beautiful. I mainly signed up for the Shikotsu Lake Ice Festival, but I was pleasantly surprised by the other tours as well. The guide was very kind, thank you. I was surprised that there were only three Japanese people, but I really enjoyed the feeling of being on an overseas trip!

It was a very efficient tour where we could visit many highlights in just one day, starting with the Churaumi Aquarium, as well as Kouri Island and American Village.

Additionally, our guide even showcased Okinawan folk songs and played the sanshin, allowing us to enjoy a fun time on the bus.

(On the bus, announcements were made in English, Chinese, and Korean, which made it reassuring for international visitors.)

Next time I go to Okinawa, I would love to take a bus tour again.

It was a weekday, but everywhere was crowded, making it difficult to take our time exploring within the tour schedule. I was too concerned about the meeting time, and there were many people... so I felt like we had little free time. However, I enjoyed it because we were taken to many sightseeing spots.

平日でしたがどこも混み合ってて、ツアーの時間内ではゆっくり観て回るのはのは難しいですね。集合時間が気になり過ぎて人も多く…自由時間は少なかったかなと？
