The entrance to Saijō Utaki is about a 5-minute walk from the parking lot. I arrived at the entrance right at 9 AM when it opened. The guide who was accompanying the bus does not provide a tour, so I explored on my own.

Since it was just before opening, there were few other tourists, allowing for a peaceful visit. After going up the Ujōguchi, I soon reached Ufugūi, where the path splits into two. If you want to see Yuinchi, please continue straight. If you turn right, you will reach Sangūi, which has a triangular space. From here, you can see Kudaka Island and feel the energy from the sea, the sacred rocks, and the Gajumaru trees.

Near Ujōguchi, there is a steep path leading to the Uroka (purification area), but be careful as it is quite steep and could take you over an hour, exceeding your sightseeing time before returning to the bus.

At the entrance to the Gangala Valley, you will be called together with other tour participants while waiting at the cave café. There is a dedicated guide here. First, there is an explanation of the tour, and free salted barley tea (in a water bottle) is provided. The tour lasts about 1 hour and 20 minutes, so if you don't have a drink, it's best to pick one up here to avoid heatstroke.

The guide provides explanations in a polite and well-paced manner. They are from Tokyo but have moved to Okinawa and seem to have studied well. In the Ikiga Cave, you proceed into the dark cave with a lamp. The rugged feel of the rocks and the sight of a river flowing inside the cave reminded me of the Amano Iwato Shrine in Miyazaki. I felt that this is where humans sense the source of life.

Please be sure to climb the tree terrace located towards the end of the course. You can see the hill where the bones of the Port of Nakagawa people from the Paleolithic era were excavated.

The exit is on the Okinawa World side. There will be guidance from the guide, but I think it's best to familiarize yourself with the route to the parking lot where the return tour bus stops.

御門口の近くにウローカー（みそぎ場）への坂道がありますが、かなり勾配が急なので、そこに行ってしまうと観光時間（バスに戻るまでの時間）の１時間を超える可能性がありますのでご注意ください。

ガンガラーの谷は、入口の洞窟カフェで待っていると、他のツアーの人たちと一緒に呼び出されます。ここは専用のガイドさんがいます。まずはツアーの説明があるのですが、無料の塩入麦茶（水筒入）が案内されます。ツアーは約１時間２０分かかりますので、飲み物を持っていない人は、ここで必ずピックアップし、熱中症にならないようにしたほうが良いかと思います。

ガイドさんが丁寧かつテンポよく説明してくれます。東京都出身だそうですが、沖縄が気に入って移住したそうで、よく勉強しているなと思いました。イキガ洞はランプをもって暗闇の洞窟を進んでいきます。岩のゴツゴツした感じや洞窟内を川が流れる様子が宮崎の天岩戸神社に似ています。こういうところに人間は、生命の源を感じるのだと体感しました。

コースの最後の方にあるツリーテラスはぜひ登ってください。旧石器時代の港川人の骨が発掘された「港川フィッシャー遺跡」の丘が望めます。

出口は、おきなわワールド側です。ガイドさんからも案内がありますが、帰りのツアーバスが停車している駐車場までは道順をしっかり把握してから歩いた方が良いと思います。

Furano was a first-time experience for me. The timing might have been a bit late, as more than half of the lavender was wilted. However, the Hills of Shikisai and the Blue Pond were just as wonderful as I had hoped. The meal at the restaurant along the way was also very delicious. The mangrove cruise was disappointing because we couldn't go upstream due to low tide, but it was nice to have various explanations about the types of mangroves.

I enjoyed riding the water buffalo cart, feeling the sea breeze while listening to the stories from the guide and the sound of the sanshin, which made for a relaxing time.

On Taketomi Island, I rode a bicycle to enjoy the island's scenery and ended up getting caught up in searching for star sand.

The only downside was that at Yubu Island, during the typical tourist photo opportunity, we had to wait a long time in the intense sunlight with poor ventilation and no shade. I think photo sessions should be limited to those who want to take pictures. After lunch, we had less than 30 minutes for sightseeing, so I felt that the time spent waiting was a waste. It was disappointing to not have enough time to see the places I wanted to visit on the island.

マングローブクルーズは干潮時に当たった為、上流の方まで行けなくて残念でしたが、マングローブの種類など色々説明があって良かったです。
水牛が一生懸命引いてくれる水牛車に乗り、海風を感じながら、おじさんの話や三線を聞き、のんびりした時間が過ごせました。
竹富島では自転車で島の景色を見ながら回って歩き、最後は星砂探しに夢中になってしまいました。
ただ一つ残念だったのは、由布島で観光地に良くある記念撮影の時に強烈な日差しの中、風通しも悪く日陰もない中を長々と待たされた事です。写真撮影は撮りたい人だけにした方がいいと思います。昼食を食べた後、観光する時間が30分もなかったので、あの待たされた時間がもったいなかったと思いました。島を観て回りたくても時間がなく観たい所が見れずに終わってしまい残念でした。

I finally got to ride a water buffalo and enjoyed the leisurely pace of time on Taketomi Island. The driver also provided a lovely service by singing Okinawan folk songs, which was wonderful. I would love to visit again to see the water buffaloes.

I'm really glad I reserved this bus for my summer vacation trip from Hokkaido on a very hot day in August. If we had traveled on our own, it would have taken a long time to reach our destinations, and I don't think we could have visited all the places we wanted to in one day. Also, it was helpful to be able to sit on an air-conditioned bus during the hot weather. If we had used the subway or city buses, not being able to sit would have made us even more tired. I participated with my energetic 6-year-old and 4-year-old children. It was our first bus tour, and I was quite anxious about how they would handle the bus ride, but thanks to the bus guide and the other participants, we were able to complete it safely.

I wanted to tour Kyoto during Obon, but I thought there would be traffic and full parking lots with my car, so I signed up for this tour. We traveled as a family of five, and it was fantastic to smoothly visit Kyoto's iconic spots like Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu Temple, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama. I don't think we could have covered all that in one day with our car.

With the bus tour, I was a bit concerned about the departure time, but I think the schedule allowed us to visit the sites almost optimally. The tour guide and the driver were friendly, making it a fun trip.

Kawapirabay, selected by the Michelin Guide, was a must-visit for me, so on the last day of our trip, the course that allowed us to visit major tourist spots in Ishigaki Island, including Kawapirabay, and drop us off at the airport was very convenient for our family.

There was a bus guide who provided clear explanations, making the experience more memorable than just sightseeing on our own. We also enjoyed the journey as they played the sanshin and sang along.

Not only did we visit Kawapirabay, but we also went to Tamatorizaki Observatory and a wild palm grove, places that are hard to reach individually, creating great memories to wrap up our trip.

Since meals were included, warm dishes were already prepared at the restaurant, allowing us to eat right away without wasting time. Although the sightseeing time at each location was short, it was a very hot summer day, so being able to listen to compact explanations and quickly move to the air-conditioned bus was truly helpful.

ミシュランガイドに選ばれた川平湾は絶対に行っておきたかったので、旅行の最終日に、川平湾を含めた石垣島の主要観光スポットを周って空港で下車できるというコースは、我が家には好都合のコースでした。
ちゃんとバスガイドさんもいらして、いろいろと分かりやすく説明をして下さるので、自分でただ何となく見学するよりも印象に残りますし、三線を弾きながら歌も歌って下さったり道中も楽しめました。
川平湾だけでなく、玉取崎展望台、野生のヤシの群生林など、個人ではなかなか行けない場所にも行けたので、旅行の最後の締めとなるよい思い出になりました。
食事付なので、レストランに行くと既に温かいお料理が用意されていてすぐに食べられて、時間のムダもありません。どの場所も見学時間は短いですが、真夏のかなり暑い日だったので、コンパクトに説明を聞きながら観光し、サッとクーラーのよく効いたバスに乗って移動出来るので本当に助かりました。

The outbound trip was on a small boat, while the return was on a large ship. After arriving at Taketomi Island, we took a bus to the center. After checking in, we waited about 15 minutes. When our name was called, we boarded the water buffalo cart. It was a slow and leisurely ride. Before we knew it, the tour was over. We rented bicycles and visited Nagomi Tower, Nishi Sazaki Bridge, and Kaiji Beach, and then it was time for the last ferry. We had a fulfilling half day from the 13:05 meeting until just past 17:00.

往路は小ぶりな船。復路は大型船でした。竹富島に到着してからバスで中心部へ。受付をして待つこと15分程。名前を呼ばれ水牛車へ。ゆっくり、のんびり廻ります。あっと言う間に周回終了。自転車を借りて、なごみの塔、西桟橋、カイジ浜を廻ったら最終便の時刻。13:05の集合から17時ちょい過ぎまで充実した半日を過ごせます。
