I visited the World Heritage sites of Sefa Utaki, Gyokusendo, and the Himeyuri Monument. I went to Gyokusendo as it was included in the tour, and it was impressive and worthwhile. We disbanded in front of the Prefectural Office in the early afternoon, so I was also able to visit Shuri Castle afterward, making for an efficient sightseeing experience.

The aquarium felt a bit smaller than I expected, but the presence of the whale shark was impressive. The Habutai vs. Mongoose at Ryukyu Village was, from an animal welfare perspective, unavoidable. I often travel alone, but renting a car can be quite expensive. My stay in Naha was just half a day. Since my flight was at 16:30, I planned to go to the outlet, but I learned about the Mensoré bus online.

It tours around southern Okinawa, and we disbanded before 13:00. Plus, it was only 900 yen, which fit perfectly with my schedule, so I decided to join.

We visited the Sefa Utaki, and then I could choose between Okinawa World or Shin-Hara Beach, followed by a stop at the Himeyuri Monument before returning to the airport and Kencho-mae. It was only about an hour, but I was happy to have the chance to go to the beach. At Sefa Utaki, I was also able to walk a bit and visit Chinen Misaki. Unfortunately, it rained, so I couldn't go to the beach.

I have a hard time driving, so I made a reservation for a tour. In the end, I think it was a good choice. The mangrove boat ride was honestly a bit underwhelming... It was fun at first to hear the explanations and see the rare birds, but I got a bit bored after a while. We turned back early due to low tide... However, the bus driver's guide during our travels on Iriomote was unexpectedly enjoyable and very good. The water buffalo cart to Yubu Island was excellent. Being able to ride it twice while listening to the sanshin was quite a rare experience, and the relaxed atmosphere was wonderful. In Taketomi, we chose the glass-bottom boat. We were able to see beautiful coral reefs and fish, and the kids were thrilled.

I do recommend the tour to my friends. However, the GPS-guide device does not work well at all. Although it comes with English, Chinese, or Korean, the recordings are only listenable intermittently, which may prevent international travelers from enjoying the journey in full.

I was drawn in by the low price and signed up, and as other reviews mentioned, the experience was fulfilling. Just listening to the guide's explanations on the bus was worth participating. It was a pity that there was little free time at the Himeyuri Monument, but it was definitely a place I wanted to visit. I chose the café course. Blessed with good weather, I spent a relaxing time while enjoying the beautiful shallow sea. It was great that I could go to a place where I would have needed to rent a car, even as a solo traveler.

I wanted to ride the red buses I saw around the city, so I signed up. I thought the one-day pass was only valid for the day it was exchanged, but it’s actually valid for 24 hours from the time of exchange. I was surprised it was valid until the next day (though I didn’t use it…).

I took two routes: one around the Tokyo Skytree and another around Odaiba. Each route takes about an hour. I was able to get off at the Skytree and stroll around Solamachi.

What surprised me was that the bus runs on the highway. Riding an open-top bus on the Shuto Expressway and crossing the Rainbow Bridge is a rare experience, and I can recommend this ticket just for that.

However, even in late March, it starts to get cold after around 4 PM. I think late April would be a better season. The guide's explanations were enjoyable, but sometimes their voice was too soft or they spoke too quickly, which was a downside.

Also, some bus stops were hard to find and in slightly awkward locations. For example, at Senso-ji Temple, I worried about whether I could reach it after being dropped off there! There might be regulations affecting this, but I hope improvements can be made.

Still, I think it’s fun for even those living in the city to ride just for a bit of a change!

１日券って引き替えた日のみかと思ったら、引き替えた時間から２４時間なんですね。次の日まで有効でびっくり。（使いませんでしたけど…）
スカイツリーをまわるコースとお台場をまわるコースの２つに乗車。１コースおおむね１時間程度ですね。途中でスカイツリー下車をしてソラマチをぶらぶらしたりもできました。
びっくりなのが高速道路を走ること。オープンバスで首都高を走ったり、レインボーブリッジを駆け抜けたりは滅多にできない体験で、これだけでもこのチケットおすすめできちゃいます。
ただ、３月下旬でも１６時過ぎたくらいから寒くなってきます。４月下旬からが良いシーズンかな？
ガイドさんの解説も楽しいけど、声が小さかったり早口すぎたりするのがマイナス。
あと、バス停がわかりにくい＆ちょっと場所が微妙なところがちらほら。浅草寺なんか、あそこで下ろされてたどり着けるのかな！？と入らない心配をしてしまいました。規制などもあるかもしれないけど、改善されると良いですね。
でも、都内在住者でもちょっと話題程度に乗ってみるのも楽しいと思いますよ！

The tour bus guide's explanations were very thorough and easy to understand, so I never felt bored on the bus. The aquarium is quite far from Naha and in an inconvenient location, but seeing the manta rays in that large tank was truly impressive. I also managed to see the World Orchid Conference at the botanical garden with a bit of effort, making for a fulfilling experience.

観光バスガイドの説明がとても丁寧でわかりやすく、バスのなかで暇をすることがありませんでした。水族館は那覇から遠く不便なところですが、あの大水槽のマンタをみるとやはり大感動です。ちょっとがんばって植物園の世界ラン博覧会も見ることが出来、充実した内容でした。
