The person was nice, but they were unable to answer almost any of my questions about tourist spots, history, flowers, and trees. I wanted to know more about Okinawa, but they spoke in a very quiet voice, making it hard to hear. They couldn't even answer one-fifth of my questions, and I wondered if they had really received training in tourism. I would have preferred someone who could provide better guidance. The person wasn't bad, but I at least hoped they would know about the visible flowers and the history of Okinawa. If there’s a next time, I will specifically request someone who can provide reliable guidance.

もっと沖縄を知りたかったのです、声もボソボソと喋って、聞き取れなくて困りました。

It was a trip to Kyoto with my children and elderly parents.

As my parents are getting older, walking for long periods has become increasingly difficult, so we were anxious about moving around by bus or train. Therefore, we requested a six-hour sightseeing taxi with a free plan.

The person in charge on the day was a man named Kumagai. Since it was a free plan, we met at Kyoto Station and visited Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu Temple, Yasaka Shrine, and Shimogamo Shrine, and were dropped off at Shijo Kawaramachi.

Kumagai was very kind and considerate, thinking of places for my tired parents to rest on the slopes of Kiyomizu Temple. When my children wanted to walk and explore, he took my parents in the car and did a city tour for about an hour, responding flexibly to our needs. My parents were very happy to be treated so kindly, especially since it was raining that day, making walking difficult.

It was tough to visit all the places my children wanted to go with my parents, but thanks to Kumagai's support, my children were able to visit the places they wanted, and we were very glad we requested the sightseeing taxi. Thank you very much!

両親も高齢になり、長時間歩くのが段々と厳しくなっている為、バスや電車での移動では不安もありこちらでフリープランの観光タクシーを６時間お願いしました。

当日担当してくれたのは熊谷さんという男性の方でした。フリープランだったので、京都駅で待ち合わせ、伏見稲荷から清水寺・八坂神社・下鴨神社などを回り、四条河原町で降ろしていただきました。
清水寺の坂道で疲れてしまった両親に、休憩できる場所を考えてくれたり、子どもが歩いて散策を希望した時は、両親を車に乗せて１時間ほど市内観光をしていてくれて、臨機応変に対応して下さりとても親切にしていただきました。
当日雨が降っていたので歩くのも大変だったこともあり、両親もとても親切にしてもらって良かったと喜んでいました。

両親を連れて子供の行きたかった場所を全て回るのは厳しかったので、熊谷さんの対応のおかげで行きたいところを回ることができた子供も喜んでいましたし、今回こちらで観光タクシーをお願いして良かったです。本当にありがとうございました！

また、当日までに確認のご連絡を２回いただき、京都の混雑状況なども踏まえた提案をしてくださったりと、会社の方もとても丁寧な対応をして下さいました。全体的にとても満足でした！

I thought it would be impossible for an elderly couple to guide foreign visitors using public transportation in a limited time, so I found Veltra online. Additionally, I was able to request a driver who could speak English, which was an incredible service. Day 1 and Day 2 were both incredible thanks to our wonderful guides and fellow members, making for the best climbing experience.

On Day 1, Tsugimura-san kept the spirits high on the long and challenging journey to Jomon Sugi, encouraging us and safely guiding us to the finish. Throughout the trek, he was attentive, engaging with the members, and prepared various quizzes and humorous stories, showing great consideration. By the end, it felt like the 10-hour trek had flown by, and it was a truly fulfilling experience.

On Day 2, Urasaki-san at Shiratani Unsuikyo provided clear and easy-to-understand instructions. This course was easier than the first day's tour, and we saw many individuals exploring on their own, but the wealth of information about the plants and the explanations of photo spots made it clear that having a guide was definitely worthwhile.

I would love to request a guide from here again on my next visit! Thank you so much for this amazing experience!

I had always wanted to visit Yakushima. If I were to go again, I wanted to see Jomon Sugi. I wasn't sure if I could handle the challenging 10-hour round trip hike, so I joined a guided tour. I rented essential items like hiking boots and rain gear on-site. March is a mild time of year, not too hot or cold, and I think it's the best season for trekking. A bus picked me up at 4 AM from the JR Yakushima Hotel, and we were taken to the Arakawa trailhead after picking up other participants.

We started at 6 AM, walking the 8 km of the tramway path, which took 4 hours. With the guide's explanations and casual conversations, we reached the end of the tramway surprisingly quickly. The remaining 2 km uphill was tough and took 2 hours. From a specific angle, the Wilson stump looks heart-shaped. Those who weren't fit turned back here, but if you push a little further, you can see Jomon Sugi. Along the way, I chatted with some foreign travelers and enjoyed the fleeting moments.

Jomon Sugi has existed on Earth since ancient times. Watching this tree, which will continue to live even after the people around it have passed, made me feel the strength of life on Earth. The return trip was quicker, but descending can strain your legs. There were young people who had hurt their knees and struggled to walk, and I also felt pain in my legs on the way back. Still, I think it was worth it to enjoy the magnificent nature. I was lucky that it hardly rained that day.

前から行ってみたかった屋久島。また屋久島に行くなら縄文杉に会いに行きたかった。往復10時間歩くという今まで体験した事がない厳しい行程を果たしてクリア出来るのか？正直自信がありませんでしたので、ガイドツアーに参加しました。登山靴やカッパなど必須アイテムは現地でレンタルしました。3月という気候の穏やかな時期で暑くも寒くもなくトレッキングにはベストシーズンではないかと思います。朝4時にバスがJR屋久島ホテルに迎えに来てくれました。各所で参加者をピックアップし、荒川登山口まで送迎してもらいました。
朝6時にスタート。片道8ｋｍのトロッコ道を4時間掛けて歩きます。道中、ガイドさんの解説や雑談をしていると意外と早く、トロッコ道の終点へ。残りの2ｋｍ超の登りが大変で2時間掛かります。ウィルソン株は特定の角度から見上げるとハート形に見えます。体力のない方はここで引き返していましたが、もう少し頑張ると縄文杉が見られます。途中、出会った外国の人と会話したり、一期一会も楽しめました。遥か太古から地球に存在する縄文杉。この場にいる人が人生を終えても生き続けるであろう縄文杉を見ていると、地球の生命の強さを感じざるを得ませんでした。帰りの方が早く帰れますが、下りのトレッキングは足を痛める可能性があります。道中、膝を痛めて歩きづらくなっていた若者もいましたし、私自身も帰りは足が痛くなりました。それでも一見に値する雄大な自然を満喫できたと思います。雨もほぼ降らずにラッキーな1日でした。

I was told there would be a confirmation call the day before, but when I received the call, I was informed that many people would be coming the next day and it would be crowded, so I was asked to check the email they sent. No matter what I asked, I was told to check the email. That email was sent shortly before the call, so I felt anxious before even going, thinking that if they had sent the email earlier, I could have checked the contents and asked questions.

On the day of the tour, the guide spoke in a way that suggested they didn't want us to take breaks, saying things like, "We have the next stop in 45 minutes," and when I went to the restroom, I was told to hurry because I was late, which felt sarcastic. Then, at Jomon Sugi, we spent 30 minutes, and while talking with others from the tour, we mentioned that it was raining and cold, and we didn't need that much time. After returning, we were made to wait while the guide chatted with other guides.

On the way back, the breaks were excessively long, and I thought that if we had this much time, we could have taken a restroom break on the way there. The time management was not great. After reaching the goal, the guide said, "When you get back, have fun talking bad about your mom," which made me feel very sad. I admit I walked slowly, but I pushed myself to walk for over 10 hours for a once-in-a-lifetime memory, and to be spoken to like that was disheartening. I made the reservation here because other tour companies were fully booked, but I will never use this service again.

前日に確認の電話があると書いてありましたが、電話がかかってきたら、明日は沢山の人がきて混んでいるので、メールを送ったので見てくださいと言われ、何を聞いてもメールを見てと言われました。そのメールも電話の少し前に送られてたので、もっと早くにメールを送ってくれたら、内容を確認してから質問できたのにと、行く前から不安を覚えました。当日は、ガイドさんから、トイレ休憩や水汲みなど、45分後に次があるので、など、あまり行って欲しくないような言い方をされ、トイレに行くと、遅くなったので急ぎましょうとか嫌味を言われました。かと思うと、縄文杉で30分も時間を取り、他のツアーの方と、雨が降って寒いし、早く帰りたいので30分も要らないのにねと話して、戻っても、他のガイドさんと話していて待たされました。帰りはやたら休憩が長く、こんなに時間があったなら、行きのトイレの時間を取れたはずなのに、時間配分がイマイチでした。ゴールに着いた後、最後に、「帰ったらお母さんの悪口で盛り上がってね」と言われ、とても悲しい気持ちになりました。確かに私も歩くのが遅かったと思いますが、一生の思い出にと頑張って10時間以上歩いたのに、そんな言われ方をして悲しいです。他のツアー会社が一杯だったのに、こちらは空いていたので予約したのですが、2度と使いません。

It is our rule that customers must contact our company upon arrival in Yakushima. If we do not receive a call before our business hours, the reservation will be canceled without a refund. On the day of your arrival, we had many reservations, so we sent a detailed email two days prior. After confirming your arrival, we planned to discuss based on that email, but unfortunately, we did not receive your confirmation. I believe we sent multiple messages and a short text after which we received your response.

Second point:
Regarding the report that the guide said, "When you get home, have fun talking bad about your mother," we confirmed with the guide and other customers who participated that the guide actually said, "Have fun talking bad about yourself," but did not mention "mother." The guide's comment was made in response to not being able to provide a smooth and detailed explanation during a restroom break.

As for your father's illness, this is also a matter of our office's oversight. Depending on the severity of the pre-existing condition, participation may not be possible, and we regret not confirming this beforehand. 2点目：
ガイドが「帰ったらお母さんの悪口で盛り上がってね」と発言したとのご報告について、当日のガイドと当日ご一緒に参加いただきましたお客様に確認しましたところ、ガイドが「自分の悪口で盛り上がってね」とは言ったが「お母さん」とは言っていないとヒアリングしております。では、なぜガイドがそのような発言をしたのかについて、トイレ確認の際に、スムーズに詳しくご説明とご案内が出来なかったことを受けての発言となったとのことでございます。
　　　　
次にお父様のご病気の件については、これは事務局の確認不足でもありますが、持病の重さによっては参加出来ませんので、ガイドとして事前に確認しなかった事に反省し、ガイド本人についての悪口で盛り上がってねとの発言をしたとのことでございます。

Initially, the sightseeing tour I ordered was going to be tight on time, so we prioritized a few must-see spots. The driver took us through routes that locals use, allowing us to visit safely. I was very grateful for the kindness of the driver. During our trip with my elderly parents and children, he even assisted my mother, who has weak legs, with getting in and out of the vehicle.

The weather was bad when we were heading to the Churaumi Aquarium, and although the weather was good when we were going to Kouri Island, we had to give up on that due to traffic. However, it was the driver who asked, "There’s over 10 km of traffic ahead, what would you like to do? Should we go somewhere else?" If he hadn't said anything, I think we would have run out of time due to the traffic.

Not wanting to just head back, the driver cleverly suggested stopping by Manzamo, which is on the way to the hotel. I truly appreciate all the help.

I especially recommend this for those who want to enjoy Okinawa at a leisurely pace with three generations!

This was our second trip to Okinawa with our child. During our first trip, we used a bus tour, but I have memories of it being quite challenging with a small child.

This time, I applied for a 6-hour private plan with VELTRA.

The female driver had prepared snacks for the kids, and my son was very happy to receive them. Even when he got fussy in the car, it was great that there were no other customers, so choosing this private option was definitely the right decision.

We didn't have a lunch plan, but we were taken to a famous Okinawa soba restaurant nearby. We were also taken to the beach, and even though we got covered in sand, the driver kindly helped wipe my son's legs, which was a huge help for traveling with a child. I will definitely use this service again when I go to Okinawa.

女性運転手の方は、子供にお菓子を用意していてくれて、息子もそのお菓子をいただき嬉しそうでした。途中車内でグズっても、他のお客さんがいないので、こちらの貸切を選んで良かったです。

ランチはノープランでしたが、付近で有名な沖縄そばに連れて行っていただきました。
また、海にも連れて行っていただき、砂だらけでしたが、一緒に息子の脚を拭いていただいたりと、優しく、子連れ旅にはすごく助かりました。

We chose the places we wanted to visit and consulted with him, who provided advice on the order of our itinerary. ■Review
- As a beginner who hardly exercises, I was truly able to walk for 12 hours thanks to Tsugimura-san. With a pace tailored for beginners, precise advice, and interesting anecdotes and conversations unique to a guide, I was able to visit Jomon Sugi, Taiko Rock, and the Mossy Forest all in one day.
- On the day of the hike, it was incredibly sunny, possibly the clearest day ever (according to Tsugimura-san). If it had rained, we might have skipped some photo opportunities, and we might have even had to give up on the Shiratani Unsuikyo route, so we were really lucky.
- To be honest, the route we covered in one day is quite tough, so I would recommend splitting the Jomon Sugi route and the Shiratani Unsuikyo route over two days for beginners (laughs).

〇To Arakawa Trailhead
- Around 4:20: A bus arrives near our hotel (close to the airport).
- Around 5:30: We arrive at the Arakawa Trailhead and have breakfast.
- Around 6:00: Start hiking.

〇Jomon Sugi Route
- Around 6:30: The sky starts to brighten. We cross several bridges without guardrails on the trolley path, but since it just started and Tsugimura-san's lively talk keeps us going smoothly.
- Around 8:30?: We arrive at the entrance to the Okubo Path. We take a leisurely bathroom break before tackling the mountain path.
- Around 9:00?: We reach Wilson's Stump.
- Around 10:30: We arrive at Jomon Sugi. (It was impressive, but honestly, from a distance, I felt that the giant cedar trees along the way were more overwhelming...)

- After 15:00: We reach Tsuji Pass. After a short break, since no one else is coming up or down, we leave our bags and head to Taiko Rock. This was the steepest section of the tour.
- Around 15:30: We arrive at Taiko Rock. Being able to enjoy the breathtaking view alone without other climbers was truly amazing. After taking some photos and a short break, we start our return. Since there was no one else, we could take the same route back, but it was still quite tough. (I heard the usual descent route to Tsuji Pass is even tougher, which was terrifying...)
- Around 16:30: We leave Tsuji Pass and start descending. Unlike before, the ground is a bit muddy, but I didn't trip too much. The steps going down were quite challenging.
- Around 16:45: We arrive at the Mossy Forest. I'm relieved that we made it to this must-see spot before sunset, but I know that if our pace slows down from here, we'll have to descend the dark mountain path, so we hurry to continue down.
- Around 17:00: We quickly pass by the famous stream often featured in brochures for the hanging cedar and Shiratani Unsuikyo. I heard that the Shiratani Unsuikyo looks beautiful when the sunlight shines through, so while it was bright, it was a bit disappointing.

・運動ほとんどしていない初心者が、12時間も歩けたのは本当に津曲さんのおかげです。初心者に合わせたペース配分と、的確なアドバイス、そしてガイドならではの小ネタ
と面白いトークで、縄文杉と太鼓岩、苔むす森を1日で見て回ることができました。
・ただ当日は「過去一番くらい晴れているかも」（by津曲さん）という位、快晴でした。雨が降ってしまったらいくつか写真撮影とかスルーしているかもしれませんし、そもそも白谷雲水峡ルートも断念していたかもしれません、本当にラッキーでした。
・正直言うと、この1日で回るルートは本当にキツいので、通常の2日に分けて縄文杉ルートと白谷雲水峡ルートを巡るのを、初心者にはおススメします（笑）

■投稿者プロフィール
・33歳男性＆28歳女性。
・登山経験はほとんどない初心者。ワークマン＆ユニクロで基本装備は整えました。登山靴はレンタルでよかったと思います。

■当日工程振り返り
〇荒川登山口まで
・4:20頃：宿泊先（空港近辺）のホテル付近でバスが来ます。
・5:30頃：荒川登山口に到着。朝弁当を食べます。
・6時頃：登山スタート

〇縄文杉ルート
・6:30頃：空が明るくなってきます。トロッコ道の策がない橋をいくつかわたったりしますが、始まったばかりなのと、津曲さんの軽快なトークもありスイスイ行けました。
・8:30頃？：大株歩道入口に到着。ゆっくりトイレ休憩をして山道にトライしていきます。
・9:00頃？：ウィルソン株に到着。
・10:30頃：縄文杉に到着。（存在感はありましたが遠くから見る分、正直途中の大王杉などのほうが圧倒感はあるかもです。。。）
・11:00頃：昼食を縄文杉からちょっと降りた先でいただきます。津曲さんから”熱い”サプライズもあって少しの疲労回復になります。そこからの下り道は登りでも苦しんだ木の階段が足にダメージを与えるため、行きよりもゆっくりと降りていきます。
・12:30頃：大株歩道入口に戻ってきました。息を整えて再度トロッコ道を戻ります。単調な道ですが、途中までとわかっているため、比較的足は軽やかに進めます。

〇トロッコ道からの白谷雲水峡ルート
・14時ごろ：楠川別れに到着。最初から結構ハードな山道が始まるなという雰囲気がありますが、辻峠までの登りは相当長く感じます。途中何度か急勾配ゾーンがあり、疲労も相まって足の進みが遅くなってしまいます。
・15時過ぎ：辻峠に到着。少しの休憩のもと、もう誰も登ってくる人も降りてくる人もいないので荷物を置いて太鼓岩に。今回のツアーの中で一番の勾配でした。
・15:30頃：太鼓岩に到着。ほかに登山者がいない中で絶景を独り占めできるのは本当に最高でした。写真撮影と少しの休憩をはさんで帰り道に。誰もいないために行きと同じコースを戻ることができましたが、それでもかなりきつかったです。（通常の辻峠への下りルートはそれ以上にきついと聞いて戦慄しました。。）
・16:30頃：辻峠を出発し下り道に。それまでと違って足元はやや泥濘が多くなりますが、足を取られることはあまりありませんでした。とにかく下りの段差がきつかったです。
・16:45頃：苔むす森に到着。日が落ちる前に絶対に見ないといけないスポットに間に合うことができてホッとしますが、ここからペースが下がると暗い山道を下る必要が出てくるということで急いで下り再開です。
・17:00頃：くぐり杉や白谷雲水峡のパンフレットによく使われる渓流とさっさと通過していきます。雲水峡は日差しがきれいに差し込む時間帯だとキレイだそうとのことなので、明るいには明るいのですが少し残念でした。
・17:50頃：憩いの大岩付近で足は限界近いです。整備された石畳や木の階段が硬く、おじいちゃんおばあちゃんのような歩き方で一歩一歩ゆっくり歩いていきます。
・18時過ぎ：白谷雲水峡ルート入口に到着しゴール。暗くならずに明るいうちにゴールできました。12時間超の長時間トレッキング制覇の達成感以上に疲労感がすごかったです（笑）。その後、津曲さんが車で宿まで送ってくださり、ツアー終了です。

・当日夜21時頃には、津曲さんからLine経由で写真が送られてきます。20時ごろ編集しているのでしょうか。本当にタフでホスピタリティ溢れていてびっくりします。（当の本人たちは爆睡していたので確認したのは翌朝でした。。。）

I was welcomed in the airport lobby and taken to famous spots like the Himeyuri Monument, Chinen Misaki, and Manzamo. Initially, I wasn't planning to visit Chinen Misaki, but I was advised that it would be a great experience, and I was glad I went as I enjoyed the stunning views. Additionally, I was treated to delicious Sata Andagi, which was very tasty. The car was well-maintained and clean, and the driving skills were impressive, making for a comfortable drive that allowed me to fully enjoy my trip to Okinawa! If I have the chance to come to Okinawa again, I would definitely like to use this service. Thank you very much!

In any case, it's a place that everyone should visit at least once.

欲張りプランに55歳で参加して、不安ばかりだったけど思ったより疲れずに完歩できました。ガイドさんの説明も楽しくて疲れを感じさせないトラッキングでした。景色も絶景ばかりで日常生活を完全に忘れさせてくれる旅になりました。ただ雨が少なくて場所によっては花粉が非常に飛んでいるようで周りの人もくしゃみや鼻をすする音がしていました。私も鼻水がきつかったです。とにかく一度は行ってみるべき場所です。

On March 8, 2023, I was taken from a hotel in Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, and then dropped off at Kanazawa Station. The driver was very enthusiastic in explaining each location. The weather that day was great, and there was hardly any snow or traffic, so we returned to Kanazawa much earlier than expected. Because of this, we were also able to visit Higashichaya District and Utasu Shrine, which were not part of the original plan. Next time I visit, I plan to request driver Jiroma.

2023年3/8に金沢のホテルから白川郷、五箇山を廻り金沢駅まで送って頂くコースでお世話になりました。お世話になりました。運転手さんはとても熱心に各場所の説明をして頂きました。当日はとても天気が良く雪もほぼ積もっていなかったのと渋滞もなかったので思いもほか早く金沢まで戻って来れたので予定には無かった東茶屋街と宇多須神社にも連れて行ってもらえました。また伺った際には運転手の次郎間さんご指名でお願いしようと思います。

It was a tour that I enjoyed from start to finish!! Along the way, the guide asked us questions about Princess Mononoke and Yakushima, allowing us to learn a lot while having fun!! They also took wonderful photos, creating memories that will last a lifetime! The view from Taiko Rock was breathtaking, especially during the early morning departure when there were fewer people—it was top-notch!
