If it were a group of children, an introduction to jobs like this one might be sufficient, but for adult participants, I believe the tour would be more worthwhile if it included specific episodes unique to each profession, stories about the challenges they face at work, and how they tackle difficulties in their jobs.

I think opinions about the tour company and the guide can vary. Compared to another tour that contacted us the day before and the day before that, providing detailed information about what to bring, the meeting place, and the time, we did not receive any communication regarding the Jomon Sugi trekking until the day before. I still feel upset about it. If they want to project professionalism, they might consider developing a more engaging way of communicating.

安全のために道中で注意をされるのはよいのですが、言い方がきついし、口が悪い。少なくとも私たちは客ですし、その場で反論はせずに、従っていましたが、もたもたしていたわけでもないのに、文句ばかり言われた。
今も気分が悪い。プロ感を出すなら、もう少し、楽しませるような話術も身に着けてもよいのでは。

Haneda Airport is just three train stations away, and Anamori Inari is a five-minute walk. There are also plenty of ramen shops along Route 8!

From the moment of entry, just like at airport check-in, I received a ticket and when it was time to board, I touched the barcode on the ticket to the machine to enter. During that time, my excitement grew, and my feelings were 100% elevated. Once inside, I first watched a video, looked at models, and heard stories about getting signatures on Star Wars airplanes. I also observed the training of the ground handling staff from directly above, as well as the training of foreign staff, and I noticed that group company members were also receiving training there. Finally, I was moved to see actual pilots getting on and off the simulator right in front of me. The experience concluded with a video of flying over America and Europe, ending with "Let's meet again with ANA's wings." That final presentation became the best experience for me.

I participated in the Jomon Sugi 1-day and Shiratani Unsuikyo half-day course with a friend. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy or rainy both days, which wasn't ideal, but listening to our veteran guide with 17 years of experience while enjoying beautiful scenery made the 1.5 days of trekking over 50,000 steps fly by. (Although the weather wasn't great, the rain actually made the moss vibrant, allowing us to truly experience the charm of Yakushima.)

On the second day’s Shiratani Unsuikyo tour, since there were only my friend and me, the guide kindly adjusted the tour content flexibly. ① Initially, the tour was scheduled to start at 5 AM, but due to the heavy rain the day before, there was a possibility of cancellation. The guide suggested we wait until 8 AM to decide whether to go to Shiratani Unsuikyo or do some sightseeing on the island. ② Although the tour could proceed, due to the unfortunate weather, we didn’t go to Taiko Rock, where the view isn’t good in the rain, and instead turned back at the mossy forest, arranging to do some sightseeing on the island until our flight. Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy the long-awaited "kubore saba" for lunch, which made me very satisfied!

Thanks to Tsugimachi-san's flexible response, I had a rich and unforgettable 1.5 days. Thank you! I feel like I might become addicted to Yakushima!

あいにく、2日とも天気は曇りか雨で最高のコンディションとは言えないものの、ガイド歴17年のベテランガイドさんのお話しを聞きながら、終始綺麗な景色で、1.5日間で5万歩以上のトレッキングも、あっという間でした。
(お天気には恵まれなかったですが、むしろ、雨のお陰で苔が生き生きしていて、本当の屋久島の魅力を味わえたと思います。)

2日目の白谷雲水峡ツアーは、参加者が私と友人の2人だけということで、ガイドさんのご厚意で、ツアーの内容を柔軟にアレンジしていただきました。①当初は5時にツアー開始予定でしたが、前日の大雨の影響で催行中止の可能性があり、8時の発表まで待ってから白谷雲水峡に行くか、島内観光にするか決めようとご提案いただきました。②催行はできたものの、あいにくのお天気だったので、雨では眺望が良くない太鼓岩までは行かず、苔むす森で折り返し、フライトまでは島内観光するという、アレンジまでしていただきました。お陰で、ランチに念願の首折れサバを食べることでき、大満足でした！

津曲さん、臨機応変なご対応のお陰で、濃厚で一生の思い出になる1日半を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました！屋久中(屋久島中毒)になりそうです！

Although I haven't been hiking regularly and have been working from home, I was able to enjoy walking for two full days without any issues.

The guides were experienced and knowledgeable, providing not only safety support and advice to complete the trek but also explanations about Yakushima, the plants, and the animals that inhabit the area. They even entertained us with quizzes, making the experience enjoyable. Gaining knowledge about Yakushima through firsthand observation was very meaningful. There were four participants in this tour, including myself. Since it was a small group, I was lucky to hear the tour conductor, a cabin attendant, speak up close. We were able to see various training category areas from the aisle, and in some areas, we even got to observe actual training scenes. Not only did we see training for ANA, but we also got to see training for Peach staff, as they conduct group training as well. The tour lasted about 75 minutes, but it ended in the blink of an eye. I would like to participate in the hangar tour next, but it's quite difficult to make a reservation for that. I guess I just have to do my best to secure a spot.

I had always thought I should visit Yakushima at least once before turning 40, so I was glad to participate this time.

When I mentioned that we would be walking for about 11 hours, everyone around me was put off, so I ended up going alone. However, the people I walked with were all wonderful, and our guide kept us entertained with little anecdotes, quizzes, and conversations, making the walk enjoyable without any boredom.

We were able to see everything I wanted to in one day, including Jomon Sugi, Wilson's Stump, Shiratani Unsuikyo, and Taiko Rock, which felt like a great deal.

There were some parts where the footing was poor or slippery, which made me a bit nervous, but since I brought work gloves, I was able to hold onto things and keep a low stance, allowing me to complete the hike without injury.

屋久島ツアーは40歳になる前には一度行ってみなければと思っていたので今回参加させていただけて良かったです。
11時間位歩くと言ったら私のまわりは皆引いてしまったので1人参加でしたが、一緒に歩かせていただいた方達が良い方ばかりで、ガイドさんが小ネタやクイズ、トーク等で盛り上げてくれながら歩いていたので飽きることなく歩けました。

縄文杉にウィルソン株、白谷雲水峡、太鼓岩など見たい物を一日でまわれたのでお得感有りです。

途中足場が悪かったり濡れていて滑らないか怖い所もありましたが、軍手を持って行っていたのでまわりを掴みながら、体勢低めに手をつきながらで怪我することなく、問題なく完歩出来ました。

素敵な一日を提供してくださりありがとうございました♪

It had been raining since midnight, and the guide explained that if the river was too high and we couldn't cross the stream, the tour might be canceled. So we decided to head to the site and started our journey. In the end, while the water level was a bit high, we were able to cross the stream, and gradually the weather improved. We made it to Taiko Rock, where we were able to see an incredibly beautiful view.

I was truly moved.

However, the sole of the rental shoes came off partway through, and while the guide provided a temporary fix, it was difficult to put pressure on my feet.

夜中から雨が降っていて、ガイドさんから川の水が多く、沢が渡らなかったら中止するかも、と説明され、とりあえず現地まで行ってみましょうとスタートしました。結局ちょっと増水はしてましたが、沢は渡れて、だんだん天気も回復し、太鼓岩まで行け、とてつもなく素晴らしい景色が見れました。
本当に感動です。
ただ、レンタルしたシューズの底が途中で取れてしまい、ガイドさんが応急処置してはくれましたが、足に力がうまく入らず大変でした。
ツアーを最後までやり切れたのはガイドの浦西さんのお陰です。あと、一緒に参加したツアーの方にも感謝です。ありがとうございました。
