After paddling desperately in the beautiful sea, I arrived at the Pumpkin Cave! Once inside, you can have a mystical experience! There are fun adventure elements like climbing over rocks and jumping off them.
By the way, the Pumpkin Cave and SUP are at different locations, and there is quite a bit of time in between. There’s enough time to rest at the hotel to recover from fatigue, so if you have the chance, doing SUP would be fun too!
Nogi-chan's guide was incredibly enjoyable!
綺麗な海のなかで必死にカヤックをこいで行った先には、パンプキン鍾乳洞が！中にはいると神秘的な体験ができます！岩場をよじ登ったり、岩場から飛び降りたりというアドベンチャー要素もあって楽しいですよ～
ちなみに、パンプキン鍾乳洞とSUPは実施場所も違うし、結構時間があきます。疲れをとるためにホテルで休憩するくらいの時間はあるので、折角ならばSUPもやると楽しいですよ！

The weather was very nice, and I was able to see beautiful ocean views that I usually can't experience. Although there is a bit of distance to the point, with the assistance of the staff, I was able to reach the point easily.

I participated in a tour to see sea turtles with friends as a memory for my last days in my 40s. It had been about 20 years since I last went into the ocean, and I was filled with anxiety rather than excitement. However, thanks to the instructors' thorough explanations and their considerate encouragement for those who couldn't swim, I truly had a fun and valuable time, creating the best memories! Although it was a short half-day tour, we were well-informed about the spots to see the sea turtles, and we were able to see them properly!
40代最後の思い出に友達とウミガメに会えるツアーに参加しました。海に入るのも20年ぶりくらいで楽しみより不安で一杯でしたが、インストラクターの人達の丁寧な説明、泳げない人への気配り優しい声かけで本当に楽しく貴重な時間を過ごせてサイコーの思い出になりました！

We participated as a family of four with our 4 and 9-year-old children. Since we have small kids, we were worried about the physical demands, but the schedule was very manageable and we had a great time. The guides were named Shotaro and Macchan. The explanations about the mangroves were very clear, and the kids listened with interest. They remembered the children's names and took a lot of photos, which made the experience fulfilling. If we have the chance, we would like to participate in other activities as well.

The person who taught us was very polite, and the water was beautiful, making it a lot of fun.
At first, I was a bit anxious about whether I would be able to do it properly, but they taught us thoroughly before we got on, so I was able to ride without any problems.
Towards the end, we had about 30 minutes of free time where we could take photos at our favorite spots, which made for a very fulfilling experience.
Additionally, drone filming was included for free, and we received an impressive video at the end.
I would love to experience this again when I visit Miyako Island.

I had a great time! The staff were also very friendly. Personally, I recommend adding water activities in addition to snorkeling! Also, there were quite a few people who got seasick, so I think it would be better to take motion sickness medication to enjoy it more.

On the second day of our trip, we were worried about the typhoon on August 26. However, we were blessed with good weather and went out to the sea at Sesoko. I had my first experience with parasailing and banana boating, both at over 60. I was filled with anxiety, especially since I'm not great with heights, but parasailing was incredibly comfortable. The banana boat was also a lot of fun. It was the best experience!
8月26日台風が心配された旅行の2日目。天候に恵まれ瀬底の海にでました。パラセーリングとバナナボートに６０を超えて初体験。特にやや高いところが苦手な私にとって不安でいっぱいでしたが、、パラセーリングはめちゃ快適でした。バナナボートもめちゃ楽しかった。最高の体験をすることができました。

Initially, I had planned to experience the Blue Cave, but due to the weather, it was changed to snorkeling with sea turtles. However, it turned out to be a highly satisfying activity, and I enjoyed the entire day! The instructor was very supportive, especially for beginners, so even if you're scared of the ocean but still want to try, you can enjoy it with peace of mind. They are also very friendly, which helps ease any tension and lift your spirits.
The Pumpkin Cave is accessed by kayaking to a small cave entrance from the sea, and I was amazed by the mysterious scenery that you wouldn't expect from the outside. It made me feel like an adventurer, and the grandeur of nature brought an incredible sense of excitement and accomplishment for everyone, regardless of age.
During snorkeling, I was able to see sea turtles up close, and having photos taken from angles we couldn't capture ourselves became a wonderful memory! I definitely want to do it again. For those visiting Miyako Island for the first time and unsure of how to spend their time, I think this is just perfect.

シュノーケリングはウミガメにしっかり会えましたし、自分達では撮れないアングルの写真を撮ってもらえるのは最高の思い出になりました！またやりたいです。
宮古島初めて、どう過ごそうと悩んでいる方には丁度良いと思います。

The tour to Yufushima on a water buffalo was wonderful; the buffaloes were incredibly cute and very soothing. We had time to stroll leisurely, which was relaxing! The SUP was also enjoyable, as the guide explained everything thoroughly, making it easy to have fun even as a beginner! I was very satisfied to see the mangroves up close. I will definitely use this service again next time!

During our trip to Okinawa, my wife really wanted to go surfing, so I reluctantly agreed to go.
I didn't think I would be able to stand up even once since I'm not particularly athletic, but the instructor taught us patiently, and I was able to ride the waves multiple times. The time flew by, and it was truly enjoyable. I definitely want to do it again.
沖縄旅行にて、奥さんがどうしてもサーフィンに行きたいとの事で、渋々行くこととなりました。
そこまで運動神経が良いということもないので、1度も立ち上がれずに終わるのかなと思っていましたが、
インストラクターの方が丁寧に教えて下さり、無事何度も乗ることが出来ました。
あっという間に時間が過ぎてしまい、本当に楽しかったです。是非またやりたいと思います。

In the morning, I went kayaking to the Pumpkin Cave, and in the afternoon, I went snorkeling.
During the tour, Tetsu shared a lot of interesting knowledge that I didn't know, which made it very enjoyable! Also, I was happy to take pictures at many photo spots!
I had a great time being able to visit the cave, see sea turtles, and take lots of photos. I'm really glad I participated!

The veteran staff skillfully brought together a diverse group of families, international guests, and solo travelers, creating a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. It's about a 10-minute walk to the river, so it’s not a hassle at all. At first, it took quite a bit of courage to jump in, but I gradually got used to it, and by the time I was leaving, I felt a bit reluctant to go. I was worried because my Japanese is not very good as a foreigner, but the guide explained everything well in English, which was great. ☺️ The overall system of the tour (instead of everyone getting on the bus together after one tour ends, we moved individually in cars) wasn't that great, but the guide took beautiful photos for us and was very kind! Thanks to the guide's hard work in searching for sea turtles, we were able to see them! It was difficult to carry the boat because of the nail art, but the guide carried everything and was always smiling, creating a bright atmosphere for the tour! I participated in a tour of the Pumpkin Cave and snorkeling. We traveled to the entrance of the cave by canoe, and the cave was very mysterious. It seems that the Pumpkin Cave is set to become a cultural heritage site, so if you're interested, it might be better to go sooner rather than later!
Snorkeling was enjoyable with a life jacket and fins, making it easy to explore. There were many fish in the coral reef, and I was lucky enough to encounter a sea turtle.

I was excited to experience the unique nature of Iriomote Island, where I encountered large eel-like creatures in the mangroves. On Yufu Island, where I rode a water buffalo, I also met a turtle. It seems that it's rare, but it's not often you come across a turtle while walking around in daily life, so it was interesting. Everything was new to me, but I felt reassured as the guide kindly taught me various things. It became a wonderful memory!

This was our first time doing SUP as a couple with our dog. At first, I was a bit anxious, but the instructor explained everything gently and thoroughly, allowing us to have a great time. I think it was just right to feel like we wanted to do a little more and would love to do it again. After we finished, they quickly sent us the photos, which became wonderful memories. Continuing from the previous day, I participated in PiPi's tour. In the morning, we visited Yufujima, and in the afternoon, we had a canoe mangrove tour. I was happy to ride the water buffalo cart at Yufujima, but I wish we had a bit more free time… In the afternoon, I joined Moo's team for canoeing. It was a lot of fun, starting with the explanation of how to operate the canoe, followed by insights about the mangroves and information about the island. "Moo's team never gives up!" It connects to our outlook on life, doesn't it?! I think it was a great opportunity for my second son to think about nature. On the way back and the next day, we checked on "Grandpa's water buffalo" again (laughs). We also enjoyed mango juice. My first experience with parasailing made me a bit anxious about whether I would enjoy it, but I had a wonderful time that will be a lifelong memory. Before the experience, it started to rain and the wind picked up, and the staff even mentioned, "It might be a bit tough... we might just end up on the boat..." due to the weather, but we managed to set sail. All participants were able to experience parasailing. From the speed of the boat and the atmosphere of the staff, it was clear they were pushing the limits. As soon as we returned to the port, the weather turned rough. I can’t thank the staff enough for their efforts to ensure we could experience parasailing. The boat ride to and from was quite bumpy due to the rough sea, but it felt like an attraction and was fun as well. I tend to get seasick, but I didn’t feel nauseous, probably because I took motion sickness medication. I had a truly memorable time. Thank you!
パラセーリングの体験は初めてで楽しめるかどうか不安だったのですが、とても楽しく一生の思い出になるような素敵な時間を過ごすことが出来ました。体験前雨も降り出し、風も強くなり、スタッフさんも「少し厳しいかもしれません…。船に乗るだけになるかも…」とおっしゃるくらいの天気でしたが、なんとか出航。参加者全員パラセーリングを体験することができました。船の急ぎ具合とスタッフさん達の雰囲気から、相当ギリギリを攻めていることは伝わりました。港に戻るとすぐ大荒れの天気に。パラセーリングを体験させてあげたいと頑張ってくださったスタッフさんには感謝しかありません。行き帰りの船は海が荒れていたため激し目の揺れでしたが、アトラクションみたいでそれも楽しかったです笑。私も酔いやすい方ではありますが、酔い止めを服用していたためか酔うことはなかったです。心に残る素晴らしい時間を過ごせました。ありがとうございます。

The instructor was very polite and taught us how to ride, so I was able to participate without falling at all! They also took plenty of photos before and during our time on the SUP, so you can feel safe not bringing your smartphone! They contacted us the day before with the meeting time and place (this time it was at the Imugya Marine Garden free parking lot), so the location might change depending on the season! There are no changing rooms, so please wear your swimsuit when you arrive. Also, there are no showers, so if you fall in, it can be quite a hassle, but generally, the waves are calm in the morning, so it seems that most people don't fall! I brought a water bottle with me, so I rinsed my feet before getting in the car!

更衣室はないので事前に水着は着用して集合です。またシャワーもないので落ちてしまうと大変ですが、基本的に朝は波が穏やかなので落ちる方はほとんどいないみたいです！私はペットボトルに水を持って行っていたので、車に乗る前に足を流しました！

I joined this tour because I wanted to see sea turtles. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any sea turtles on the day of the tour... However, our guide, Chitose, introduced us to many beautiful fish and coral reefs, and she also provided a lot of support for my parents, who are not very good swimmers, and my scared elementary school child, allowing us to enjoy the experience.
The Pumpkin Cave was much larger than I expected, and I was surprised by the big pumpkin. Both my child and I were shocked to think we had to climb it, but my child said it was great that we gathered the courage to try climbing it.
It was my first time in Miyako Island, and there are still many activities I want to participate in, so I definitely want to see sea turtles next time! I will come back!

I was able to see sea turtles up close while snorkeling, and the guide was great at taking photos, which made for a fun time! It was my first time at Pumpkin, and both high school students and adults enjoyed it, creating wonderful memories. I hope my wishes come true... haha. The guide taught us various things, which made it even more enjoyable. I would definitely like to request the same guide when I come back to Miyako Island! Thank you very much!

I had a great experience with canoeing in Iriomote Island and the water buffalo in Yufu Island, thanks to a good guide. 西表島のカヌー、由布島の水牛、良いガイドで楽しい体験できました。

We took a ferry from Ishigaki Island to Uehara Port on Iriomote Island, where we gathered. Our local guide, Ren-chan, took eight of us in a microbus to the canoe launch site while providing explanations about the area.
There were six people in canoes and two in kayaks, and we received safety instructions from Ren-chan before heading down a river close to the mangrove-filled sea. Each person's speed and direction varied due to different paddling techniques, and the kayak members struggled as they fell out, but Ren-chan stayed with us until we safely returned.
The trip down was easy as we rode the current, but the return was challenging as we had to paddle against it. After returning to Uehara Port, we had free time for lunch. Although we were introduced to several eateries, some were closed for the holiday or too crowded, so we ended up buying bento at a supermarket.
In the afternoon, we had a tour to cross to Yubu Island by water buffalo. Our guide, Macchan, provided enjoyable explanations. We crossed to the island pulled by a water buffalo, and he humorously described the buffalo's characteristics (the one we rode was an elderly buffalo named Yuto) and personality. The water buffalo guide played an instrument and sang folk songs, making for a fun time.
We spent about an hour on Yubu Island, which had beautiful scenery, souvenir shops, a butterfly viewing facility, and unique plants, all of which were quite nice. The only disappointment was that I had expected to paddle through the mangrove forest, but instead, we navigated along the edge of a wide river where many mangroves grew. I was looking forward to that, so it was a bit disappointing, but everything else was very good.
石垣島からフェリーで西表島の上原港に渡り、そこで集合。
現地のガイド（れんちゃん）が8名を載せてマイクロバスで、カヌー乗り場まで
現地の説明がてら連れて行ってくれました。
カヌーが６名、カヤック２名をれんちゃんから注意事項の説明を受け、一緒にマングローブの生える海に近い川をくだりました。漕ぎ方によりそれぞれのす速度や方向がまちまちで、カヤックのメンバーはカヤックから落ちて苦労していましたが、れんちゃんが最後まで連れ添って無事に戻ってこられました。
行きは流れに乗って楽でしたが、帰りは流れに逆流するので大変でした。
上原港に戻って、お昼ご飯、フリーでしたので、いくつか食堂を紹介してもらえましたが、たまたまお盆でお休みだったり、混んでいたりして、結局スパーでお弁当を買って頂きました。 午後は由布島に水牛でわたりるツアーでした。ガイドのまっちゃんも楽しい説明でよかったです。水牛に引っ張ってもらって島にわたりましたが、水牛の特徴（たまたま乗った牛がゆうとという高齢の牛）や性格など面白おかしく説明してもらい、水牛の先導？さんが楽器を弾きながら民謡を歌って楽しい時間でした。由布島も１時間くらいありましたが、景色もよく お土産屋さん、蝶を見られる施設（蝶園）、独特な植物、などなかなか良かったです。
一つだけ残念なのはマングローブの森の中をカヌーで進むと思っていたのですが、広い川の端にマングローブが沢山生えているところを進むという点でした。そこを期待していたので、少し残念ですが、それ以外は大変良かったです。
