It was my first time snorkeling, and since it had been a while since I last went to the sea, I struggled at first to get the hang of breathing (to be honest, I thought about giving up), but within a few minutes, I was able to enjoy looking around underwater. I was also wearing a life jacket, so I felt safe as long as I didn't thrash around too much. It was my first time visiting Miyako Island and Okinawa, and I was surprised to see corals and colorful fish even close to the shore. Thanks to the guide, I was very happy to encounter a sea turtle and a clownfish! The guide taught us about Okinawan fish (the Oya-biccha left a strong impression) and adjusted the pace for each person, which made my first snorkeling experience enjoyable and reassuring. We also took commemorative photos before entering the water, and they captured moments of us swimming and with the sea turtle. However, since I had to wear a life jacket and stay on the surface, it seems quite difficult to get the best shot with the sea turtle on the seabed unless you're really lucky!

As for the SUP, I was able to switch to an early morning slot the next day. The location was at Ingyamarine Garden, a bit further east from the previous day, in a calm bay. Meeting at 6 AM was quite challenging, but it was refreshing to slowly paddle along the quiet sea while watching the sunrise. I don't usually have a habit of exercising, but it was an activity that even beginners could enjoy enough to stand and paddle. We also took a lot of photos.

当初の参加日は明け方から台風みたいな強風と雨だったので少し不安でしたが、その日は天候に左右されにくいシュノーケリングだけ参加させてもらいました。4月の沖縄は既に海開きしていますが、天候が天候なので海に入る前と後は寒かったです。ただウェットスーツをお貸しいただけたので海に入っている間はそうでもなかったです！シュノーケリングはシギラビーチで行いました。遠浅の海で波も穏やかでした。シュノーケリングは初めてで、久々の海ということもあり、最初は呼吸のコツを掴むのに苦戦しましたが（正直リタイアしようかと思いました）、数分もすれば海の中を眺めるのを楽しめるようになりました。ライフジャケットも着ていたので、よほど暴れない限り溺れることもなく安心だったと思います。宮古島はおろか沖縄に来たのも初めてでしたが、陸に近いところでもサンゴや色鮮やかな魚が見られて驚きでした。ガイドの方が見つけてくれたおかげで、ウミガメとクマノミにも会えてとても嬉しかったです！ガイドの方は沖縄の魚（オヤビッチャというのが印象に残りました）について教えてくれたり、一人一人のペースを見ながら進行してくださったので、初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが安心して楽しめました。写真も海に入る前に記念撮影をし、泳いでいるところ、ウミガメと一緒のところも撮ってもらいました。ただどうしてもライフジャケットを着て水面にいるので、海底にいるウミガメとベストショットを撮るのはよほど運が良くないと難しそうです…！

SUPの方は翌日早朝の枠が空いているということでそちらに移らせてもらいました。場所は前日からもう少し東に行ったインギャーマリンガーデンで、入り江になっている穏やかな海でした。朝6時集合でなかなか大変でしたが…日の出を見ながら静かな海をゆっくり進んでいくのは爽やかな気持ちでした。普段運動の習慣はありませんが、それでも立って漕げるくらいには初心者でも楽しめるアクティビティでした。写真もいっぱい撮ってもらいました。

This was my second visit to Miyako Island, following last year. This time, I participated in a sea turtle snorkeling tour. The instructor, "Yama-chan," was a wonderful young man with a lovely smile. He was great at communicating and, most importantly, incredibly knowledgeable about sea turtles, answering any questions we had. I joined a family with a young couple and their little daughter, and Yama-chan made sure everyone could enjoy the experience, keeping an eye on the daughter so the couple could have fun too.

As for me, I joined the tour with almost no swimming experience, and at first, I couldn't breathe at all. I thought it might be impossible to swim with the sea turtles… I felt a bit discouraged. However, following Yama-chan's advice, I managed to breathe and even got to take a commemorative photo with the sea turtles I had longed to see. It was amazing and moving to see the sea turtles up close. The clear, beautiful sea of Miyako Island and the adorable sea turtles made for a truly wonderful and enjoyable tour.

I owe this fantastic day to Yama-chan's excellent guidance. Thank you so much, Yama-chan! I created some wonderful memories.

私はと言えば、泳いだ経験がほぼない無謀な参加で、最初は全く呼吸ができず、ウミガメと泳ぐなんて無理だったのかもしれない…と落ち込みましたが、やまちゃんのアドバイスどおりやってみると、いつの間にか呼吸もできるようになり、念願のウミガメさんとの記念撮影もできました。こんなにウミガメさんを近くで見られるなんて驚きと感動でした。宮古島の澄んだ綺麗な海と可愛いウミガメに逢えて本当に素敵で楽しいツアーでした。

Went to the mangrove for canoeing in the morning, Akira is sweet and patient to demonstrate and guide throughout the trip. The mangrove itself is calm, I’m sure it’ll be more scenic when the weather is good.

Dropped off at ~11:30 for lunch (taco rice is great, thanks Akira!) then returned back to the pier for snorkeling in the blue cave. The undersea view is absolutely stunning and is so different to see from the water level. Sebastian is helpful and friendly to guide throughout the trip, thanks! A little suggestion is that it’s too short; perhaps some free exploration time would be better.

Overall, a great trip and quick response from the team. I booked the trip less than 24 hours before it started and still managed to get confirmation messages. It’s nothing easy, thanks for the quick response!

Went to the mangrove for canoeing in the morning, Akira San is sweet and patient to demonstrate and guide throughout the trip. Mangrove itself is calm, I’m sure it’ll be more scenic when weather is good.

Dropped off at ~11:30 for lunch (taco rice is great thanks Akira!) then return back to pier for the snorkelling in blue cave. The undersea view is absolute stunning and is so different to see from the water level. Sebastian is helpful and friendly to guide throughout the trip, thanks! Little suggestion is that it’s too short, perhaps some free exploration time would be better

Overall a great trip and quick response from the team, I booked the trip less than 24h before it starts, and still managed to get confirmation messages. It’s nothing easy, thanks for the quick response!

The kayaking and snorkeling at the Blue Cave were both amazing.

We had a private beach all to ourselves for the kayaking. Along the way, a drone flew by to take photos and videos.

I was able to leave my phone behind and relax, forgetting about time.

The snorkeling at the Blue Cave was the most wonderful experience I've had among all the snorkeling and diving I've done!

We swam to the cave, and the journey there was also great. The hospitality and guidance from our instructor, Kinjo, were 200% enjoyable.

The kids were able to spend time safely and securely.

I was surprised by the quality and quantity of the images and videos after the experience. I was happily shocked by how many there were!

Even after it was over, I could look back at the images and reminisce.

I would definitely love to do this again when I visit Okinawa.

I participated in a morning canoeing session and an afternoon tour of Yufu Island, and it was filled with unique experiences that became wonderful memories!

After arriving at Iriomote Island, we quickly boarded a bus for a 15-20 minute ride to the area near Urauchi Bridge. We put on life jackets and received paddle instructions in the parking lot. My child was given a smaller paddle. It had been about 15 years since I last canoed, so I was a bit anxious, but since the shallow areas allowed the paddle to reach the ground, I felt reassured. My child wasn't sure what to expect, but they were able to sit in the front or middle, and there was no sign of them falling overboard. However, they seemed to dislike the water dripping from my paddle when it was raised, crying loudly and continuously saying, "I want to go home!" (laughs). 西表島に到着後バスにすぐ乗り、15-20分バスで浦内橋付近まで。
ライフジャケットを着て駐車場でパドルの説明を受けます。子どもには小さいパドルをいただきました。
カヌーは約15年ぶり2回目で不安でしたが浅瀬で何かあればパドルが地面に届くので安心でした。子どもはどうなるのかイメージが湧いておりませんでしたが、前か真ん中に座ることが出来、落ちそうな気配もありませんでした。ただ、親のパドルが上になったときにポタポタ落ちる水が嫌だったような大泣き。終始「家に帰りたい〜」と叫んでいました笑　水が好きなお子さんでしたらとても楽しいと思います。
マングローブがたくさん生い茂るトンネルのようなところまで連れていってもらい、たまにマングローブにぶつかることもありましたがそれはそれで楽しく、景色を楽しみながら漕ぐことができました。
帰り道では実際に川の中でカヌーから降りてもいいですよと言ってもらい、降りたい人はその場で降りてマングローブに近づいていました（膝程度なので全く怖さはありませんでした）　とっても貴重な体験ができ本当に楽しかったです。
子どもが終始号泣していると、他のツアー参加者のお母様が「この子もいつも泣いてたのよー」と声をかけてくださり、全く泣いてない男の子を見て、成長した姿がたくましく見え、いつかこんな時もあったと笑えるんだろうなと感じました。その時だけの方々でしたが、ツアーだとなんとなく一体感が生まれるのが醍醐味だなと感じました。

I went to Ishigaki Island to enjoy the blue sea and starry sky, but unfortunately, it was cloudy and rainy for all four days. I was looking forward to snorkeling, and although we made it to the location, it was canceled. It was disappointing, but I appreciated that they had prepared well for us to enter the sea, and I gained more trust in them for making the decision to cancel without hesitation for safety reasons. It was our first time snorkeling, and since we were going to a cave, I had some anxiety right up until the moment we started, even though I had read about the experience. I trusted the instructor's words that it would be totally fine even if I couldn't swim or was new to snorkeling, and off we went into the sea.

The clarity of the water, the mystical colors of the cave, and the guidance from the instructor made it truly the best experience ever. I had so much fun that I can't even remember what I was worried about. We took a lot of photos and videos, which became great memories. I regret not participating sooner. It was so amazing that I even signed up for the hotel’s snorkeling tour the next day (although it ended up being canceled due to the waves). I definitely want to participate again!
