I was able to see a sea turtle right after diving into the ocean. Moreover, since it was in shallow water, the children were able to watch the sea turtle without any fear and felt safe. Additionally, our tour guide, Yamachan, was very kind and made the tour even better by taking many photos and taking us to fish spots.
海に潜ってすぐにウミガメに会えました。
しかも浅瀬だったので子供たちも恐怖感なく安心してウミガメを見てました。
また、同行してくれたツアーの山ちゃんは、沢山写真を撮ってくれたり、魚スポットに連れて行ってくれたりととても親切でツアーをより良いものとしてくれました。
酔いやすいお子さんには事前に酔い止めを飲ませて行くと良いらしいですよ。

The tour was barely held due to the impact of the tsunami. It seems that many companies canceled their tours, so it was very quiet and we were able to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. The Blue Cave was even more of an unknown world than it appeared in photos, and it was truly moving. During the fish feeding, a variety of fish came close, which was a bit scary but also really cute.

It was the first experience of snorkeling for the whole family. My 8-year-old child seemed anxious, but the staff member kindly spoke to us and engaged with us even underwater. His refreshing and gentle smile left a strong impression.
Due to the typhoon, it was cloudy and raining from the morning, but the underwater world felt like a different realm and was truly moving. While we were splashing around, he dove down to take photos and videos, which became wonderful keepsakes. The process was smooth and efficient, and I really liked it! I heard that diving is possible from the age of 10, so I would love to go again. Thank you for providing such a wonderful time this time. It became my best memory in Okinawa.

The guide who assisted us this time, Hikaru, was wonderful, and I would love to request him again if I participate in the same tour. My child was scared and anxious about the deep sea where they couldn't touch the bottom, but the guide stayed by our side and helped them swim safely. We were able to see sea turtles and clownfish. At one point, my child reached their limit, and we had to turn back, which made me feel sorry for the other participants, but the guide coordinated with the other guides, and it seemed that the other participants were able to finish the tour as planned, which was a relief. I had a great time with the sightseeing at Yubu Island and beach snorkeling. On the bus heading to Yubu Island, the guide shared many interesting stories about Iriomote Island and the creatures that live there.
Although we only had 50 minutes on Yubu Island, we were able to see water buffalo and many colorful flowers, and we enjoyed a delicious gelato while strolling around. Riding the water buffalo cart while listening to the sound of the sanshin was very pleasant.
In the afternoon, my 6-year-old daughter was a bit scared since it was her first snorkeling experience in a year, but the guides, Abe-chan and Yumi-chan, were very kind and gently encouraged her, saying, "You can hold onto the float—let's have fun!" This helped the whole family relax and enjoy the experience. My daughter even whispered, "That was so much fun..." as she reflected on the day.

由布島へ向かうバスの車内ではガイドさんが西表島のことや西表に住む生き物たちのお話をたくさんしてくださって面白かったです。
由布島では滞在時間50分とそんなに長くはなかったのですが、水牛やカラフルなお花をたくさん見られたり、美味しいジェラートを食べながら散策することができました。水牛車は三線の音色を聴きながら揺られて、すごく心地よかったです。

Due to the approaching typhoon, we couldn't go snorkeling, but we enjoyed the canoe experience! While canoeing, the staff was nearby, providing advice on paddling and assisting us when getting on and off the canoe, so I think even beginners can feel at ease. I participated solely for snorkeling. There were many participants, so we were divided into groups and enjoyed snorkeling with the staff. There were two adults in our group, but we were in the same area for most of the time, likely because there was a family with elementary school children, which was a bit disappointing. The sea was very beautiful.

When I came to Ishigaki, I thought I had to go snorkeling, and even though I'm not a great swimmer, I had a wonderful time. The weather was sunny that day, and the beautiful location touched my heart. Once I dove in, I was healed by the stunning sea and the fish I kept watching, which led me to decide to extend my stay in Ishigaki, haha. It's high season, but if I could wish for anything, I would have liked a bit more time.
石垣に来たらやはりシュノーケリングをしないとと思い、あまり泳げない自分でも楽しい時間を過ごせました。
当日晴れていたのもあり、素敵なロケーションで心打たれ、さらに潜ると綺麗な海、魚達を眺め続ける事で心が癒され、石垣に延泊を決めました笑
ハイシーズンなのもありますが、欲を言えばもう少し時間が欲しいなと思いました。

This was my first solo trip from Kanagawa to Okinawa, and while I was debating where to go to the beach, I decided to join a tour to the Kerama Islands because I had never been there and wanted to see the Kerama Blue. The staff were all friendly and kind, making it really enjoyable even as a solo participant.
The Kerama Islands have such high transparency; I've been to various places like Hawaii, Cairns, and Miyako Island, but this was the best! The underwater world during snorkeling was incredibly mystical, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is unsure.

The phantom island (Hama Island) was shockingly beautiful. I was able to enjoy it to the fullest within the limited time I had.
After moving, I was informed that the snorkeling would take place around the waters off Taketomi Island, rather than Ishigaki Island. The handsome captain and everyone at Pushiinushima Ishigaki were very accommodating and quick, allowing my family to experience it with peace of mind. Thank you very much.
I was so captivated by the clarity of the seawater that I became absorbed in snorkeling, but I did feel quite a strong current. However, they provided life jackets and flotation devices, so even my elementary school-aged daughter was able to enjoy it safely.

The staff were very friendly, and I felt safe and enjoyed my time! The kids experienced snorkeling and parasailing for the first time in their lives! They were kindly guided and had many photos taken, which made them very happy! The staff also made the slide exciting, and the kids had a great time sliding down! I was truly healed by the beautiful sea and the pleasant breeze! It was a wonderful experience! I heard there were whale sharks swimming nearby, but it was a shame we couldn't see them... Our blue cave snorkeling event was cancelled due to weather but they offered to take us to a shallow area near their shop where we saw tons of fish. The current was strong but the heavy duty life vest kept us afloat and our guide was right there with us, taking pictures, and also had a boogie board we could grab onto if we needed a rest. If we had more time, I would have rebooked the blue cave once the weather calmed down. Our guide was kind and helpful and the equipment was clean and in good condition. My son and I had a great time.
Book the event early in your trip in case weather interferes. Then you have time to rebook.

At first, I was scared and anxious because I didn't know how to breathe, but thanks to the very kind support of the instructor, I gradually relaxed. I went snorkeling for the first time! At first, I was a bit confused about how to use the fins and snorkel, but with a life jacket, I didn't have to worry about drowning, and once I got used to it, I could swim quite comfortably.
There were colorful fish swimming right in front of me, and it was truly beautiful. On the sea turtle tour, I was able to see a turtle sleeping on the ocean floor. However, since it was quite deep, it felt a bit distant. It was different from what I had seen in photos. But I was really happy to see a wild turtle that I had longed for.
One downside was that there were no changing rooms on the boat, so I had to change in the shared restroom. I thought I could change at the port's changing room, but once we arrived, we had to get on the shuttle bus right away, so I couldn't use it.
Also, some of the staff were a bit rude to the guests. Since most of the participants were foreigners, they probably thought we couldn't hear them... It was shocking and a bit off-putting.
Overall, I had a very good experience and I'm satisfied!
初めてシュノーケリングをしました！最初はフィンやシュノーケルの使い方に戸惑いましたが、ライフジャケットがあるので溺れる心配もないし慣れれば結構快適に泳げます。
目の前を色とりどりの魚が泳ぎ回っていて本当に綺麗でした。
ウミガメツアーでは海底で寝ているカメを見る事が出来ました。が、結構深い海底のため何となくアレかなぁといった感じ。写真で見るのと実際とでは違いました。でも念願の野生のカメを見れて嬉しかったです。
少し残念だったのは、船の中に更衣室はなく共用トイレで着替えなければいけなかったこと。港の更衣室で着替えればいいと思っていましたが、着いたらすぐ送迎バスに乗るため港の更衣室は使えませんでした。
またスタッフの中には客に対して口の悪い方がいます。参加者が殆ど外国の方なので多分聞こえないと思っているのでしょうが...衝撃でちょっと引いてしまいました。
全体としてはとても良い体験ができて満足です！

I was worried about the impact of the typhoon, but the sea was calm with colorful corals and tropical fish, and I was able to see two types of turtles. The staff took many photos of me while I was snorkeling.
