The guide was attentive to the entire group while walking with us, considering the multiple participants. It felt a bit fast, but I think that pace was good since we needed to keep moving. The scenery was as beautiful as advertised.

複数の参加者がいる中で、ガイドさんが全体を気を使ってくれながら歩いてくれました。少し早かった気がしますが、それくらいが歩かなきゃと思うのでペースとして良かったのだと思います。
景色は評判通り良かったです。

It was harder than I expected, but I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I reached the final Taiko Rock. I'm glad I participated.

思っていたよりハードでしたが、最後の太鼓岩まで行けて達成感がとてもありました。参加してよかったです。

Last September, I participated with my family. I was worried about whether I could walk properly, but the guide would take breaks just when I was getting tired, so I managed to keep up. Other than during breaks, I hardly had the luxury to look around; I was just focused on my feet and walking! The trolley path is easy to walk on since there are wooden planks between the rails, but if you get distracted by the scenery, you might trip. (Especially on the way back, be careful as your legs will be tired.)

Since a typhoon had just passed, the weather was strange, alternating between sunny and rainy, but I was lucky to see the moss dripping with water, sparkling in the sunlight. The scenery was truly amazing, making my little worries disappear. The next day, I had intense muscle pain, so I think it would be better to plan the order of optional tours considering the muscle soreness.

昨年9月に家族で参加しました。
ちゃんと歩けるだろうかと不安がありましたが、ガイドさんの後ろを黙々と歩き疲れるころに休憩が入るので何とか付いていけました。
休憩の時以外は、周りを見る余裕はほとんどなく、足元を見てとにかく歩く！という感じでした。トロッコ道はレールの間に木が敷いてあるので歩きやすいですが、うっかり景色に見とれると転びます。（特に帰りは足が疲れているので要注意です。）
台風が通過したばかりだったので、晴れたり雨が降ったりの変な天気でしたが、苔に水がしたたり、それが太陽を浴びてキラキラと光っているのを見れたのでラッキーでした。本当に素晴らしい景色で、ちっぽけな悩みなんか吹き飛びます。
翌日は筋肉痛がものすごかったので、オプショナルツアーの順番は筋肉痛も加味して組んだ方がいいと思いました。

I participated last September. I was really looking forward to canyoning, but unfortunately, we couldn't do it due to high water levels after the typhoon. However, kayaking was very enjoyable with wonderful scenery. In the afternoon, instead of canyoning, we went snorkeling. The sea had some waves and was a bit murky due to the typhoon's effects. My eldest son got seasick from the waves, but I was thrilled to see a sea turtle. When I go to Yakushima again, I definitely want to try canyoning this time.

昨年9月に参加しました。
ものすごく楽しみにしていたキャニオニングでしたが、
台風の後で水量が多く残念ながらキャニオニングはできませんでしたが、
カヤックは素晴らしい景色の中、とても気持ち良かったです。
午後はキャニオニングの代わりにシュノーケリングになりました。
海は台風の影響で少し波があり、少し濁っていました。
長男は波に揺られて波酔いしてしまいましたが、
私はウミガメに会えて感激でした。
また屋久島に行ったら、今度こそキャニオニングに挑戦したいです。

I was very anxious about walking, but the same staff member was very kind and attentive for two days, and I was able to hear various stories, which made me very satisfied. I'm glad I chose this plan.

歩くのはとても不安でしたが2日間同じ担当者がとても親切で丁寧に気を使っていただき様々な話しを聞くことができて大満足です。このプランで良かったです。

It was tough, and I knew it would be, but it was really challenging! I left the hotel at 4 AM and got home at 6 PM!

But I think I had experiences that were worth it. I took a lot of photos, but I truly felt that you can't convey it unless you see it in person.

The negative ions were amazing, the air was clean, and since it only rained a little, it was easy to walk around. It was a really great day! Because it was a tour, I was able to walk while listening to various stories, and although it was tough, I made it! Thank you very much!

朝4時発のホテル帰宅が18時でした！

でもそれに見合う？だけの経験が出来たと思います。沢山写真を撮りましたが
実際に見ないと伝わらないな、と現地に行って本当に感じました。

マイナスイオンがすごい出てて空気が綺麗で、雨が少しだけだったので歩きやすく、とても良い日でした！！
ツアーだからいろんな話を聞きながら話しながら歩けて大変だったけれども行けました！

It was not a trip, but a struggle. If it had been sunny, the 22 km round trip hike in 10 hours might have been more enjoyable, but the long journey in the rain was cold. I strongly recommend avoiding rainy days if you have flexibility in your schedule. The long ascent on the stairs in the second half was tough, of course, but the boards on the wet trolley path were slippery, making it really difficult to walk. That day was truly a battle with myself; I participated with my daughter, and I believe I was able to show her, as a parent, the attitude of "never giving up and doing my best until the end."

There were seven tour participants (including one elderly woman whose shoe sole came off, leading to her unfortunate retirement → waiting). Including the guide and my daughter, all six others were in their 20s, and I was the only one in my 50s. The young people walked really fast, and I was struggling to keep up. I had heard that I needed to walk at the guide's pace, but it was fast, too fast. I wished they would walk a bit slower. I believe we could have finished the descent on time even if we walked more slowly.

To make matters worse, about a third of the way back on the trolley path, I slipped and fell, injuring myself. Even two weeks later, my tailbone still hurts. My toenail has also become a blood blister and is still black.

Additionally, standing in front of Jomon Sugi, I felt an incredible sense of accomplishment, but the stay was too short. Including lunch, it was only 30 minutes... After climbing all that way, I wanted to stay a bit longer. I wanted to take more photos and videos. Initially, we arrived at Jomon Sugi 40 minutes earlier than the explanation we received at the airport upon arriving in Yakushima...

The young guide was kind, lending me a walking stick and serving everyone miso soup during lunch, but it turned out to be a very regretful tour. Also, for us as beginner hikers, the prior explanation about what clothes to wear was unclear. I wished they had specified "rainwear" for both top and bottom.

旅行じゃなくて、苦行だった。晴れなら往復22ｋm10時間の登山ももう少し楽しめたのだろうけど、雨にうたれての長い行程は寒かった。日程に余裕があるなら雨の日は避けることを強くお勧めする。後半の長い登り階段の登山道ももちろんきつかったけど、雨に濡れた軌道敷(トロッコ道)内の踏み板が滑りやすく、本当に歩きづらかった。この日はまさに己との戦い、今回我が娘と参加したが、親として「絶対に諦めない・最後まで頑張る」姿勢を見せられたと思う。
ツアー客は7人(内、一人の年配の女性は靴底が取れてしまい、無念のリタイヤ→待機)。ガイドや娘も含めてあと6人全員20代、50代は私ただ一人。若い人は歩くのが本当に速くて、私はついていくのに必死。「ガイドに合わせて歩かなくちゃいけない」と噂に聞いてはいたが、早い、早すぎる。もっとゆっくり歩いて欲しかった。もっとゆっくりでも充分下山終了時間に間に合ったと思われる。
最悪なことに帰りのトロッコ道を3分の1歩いたあたりで滑ってしりもち、怪我したし。2週間たった今だに尾てい骨が痛い。足の爪も血豆になって今も真っ黒。
あと、縄文杉を目の前にして、達成感はものすごく感じられたけど、滞在時間短すぎ。ランチを含め30分って。。せっかく登ってきたんだからもう少し居たかった。もっと写真やビデオを撮りたかった。当初、屋久島到着時空港で受けた説明より40分も早く縄文杉に到着したのに。。。
若いガイドさんは杖を貸してくれたり、ランチ時に全員にミソスープをふるまってくれたりして良い方だったが、非常に心残りのツアーになった。
あと、登山初心者の私たちにとって、着ていく服の事前説明がわかりにくかった。上下の「レインウェア」と記載してほしかった。

The knowledge during the trekking was impressive, and another tour guest asked for recommended books about Yakushima, to which the guide responded smoothly. The lunch spot recommended after the tour was a hit! We enjoyed local fish sashimi like mackerel and flying fish, as well as the unique ingredient called "kamenote." With over 2000 guiding experiences, the guide was truly exceptional! However, as travelers, we don’t know when we’ll be back, so please let us take lots of photos. I was taking so many pictures that I was told to put my camera away around the deer lodge, which was quite disappointing. But once we reached Taiko Rock, we were allowed to take photos again, and the weather improved, allowing for many great shots. The next day, when we met again on the Jomon Sugi trekking course, the guide checked in on us multiple times. Even though it rained all day and dampened our spirits, we were uplifted each time.

トレッキング中の知識はもちろん、他のツアー客の方が屋久島に関するおすすめの本を尋ねていたが、すんなりお答えしていた。
私たちもツアー後おすすめされたランチのお店は大当たり!首折れサバやトビウオなどの地元の魚の刺身や珍しいカメノテなる食材も堪能できた。
2000回以上のガイド歴はさすが!ただこちらは旅行者、次にいつ来られるかわからないんだから写真いっぱい撮らせてね。あまりに私が写真を撮って足止めしているから、シカの宿あたりからカメラをしまうように言われてしまったのがとても残念だった。でも、太鼓岩に到着したらカメラ解禁になり、天気も回復して写真をたくさん撮ってくれた。
そして次の日、別のツアーで参加の縄文杉トレッキングコースで会った時も何度もお声がけくださり、その日1日中雨でテンション下がっていたけどその都度元気づけられた。

I was very satisfied because I was able to hear various stories from the same guide for two days♪ I had concerns about my stamina, but they guided us at a slow pace, so it was really great that we could all enjoy the wonderful scenery without having to retire from the tour(^^).

2日間同じ担当者だったのもあって様々な話しを聞くことができて大満足です♪体力面で不安がありましたがスローペースで案内してくださったのでリタイアすることなく全員で素晴らしい景色を観ることが本当に良かったです(^^)

I had an amazing time!!!! Thanks to the early morning departure, I was able to visit the long-awaited Jomon Sugi and the mossy forest of Shiratani Unsuikyo, as well as Taiko Rock, all in two days. I was worried about the reviews mentioning that the guides can vary, but the guide we had both days was very nice, and I'm glad I made the reservation here◎ I think it really depends on luck!

The view from Taiko Rock, where you can see all of Yakushima and even the ocean, was truly breathtaking, so I definitely recommend joining the early morning tour on the second day as well.

The nature was really beautiful, and the locals were kind, so I fell in love with Yakushima (*^^*)

早朝発のおかげで、2日間で念願の縄文杉と白谷雲水峡の苔むす森+太鼓岩まで行けました。
ガイドさんに当たり外れがあるという口コミで心配していましたが、、担当していただいたガイドさんは2日ともとても良い方で、こちらで予約してよかったです◎こればかりは運次第かと！

太鼓岩からの屋久島を一望できて海まで見えてしまう景色は本当に圧巻だったので、ぜひ2日目も早朝発のツアーに参加することをおすすめします。

本当に自然が綺麗で、街の方々も優しく、屋久島が好きになりました(*^^*)

The guide was very kind, and even someone like me, who lacks physical confidence, was able to reach the Yakusugi. It was tough, but it's a memory I'll cherish for a lifetime.

ガイドさんがとても親切で、体力に自信のない私でも屋久杉まで行くことができました。しんどいけど、一生の思い出です。

I visited Shiratani Unsuikyo for the first time this time, and the moss was incredibly beautiful, covering everything in green and looking very picturesque! I wasn't very confident in my physical stamina, and I was a bit worried about whether I could make it to the mossy forest since I was tired from going to Jomon Sugi the day before. However, the guide spoke very slowly while we climbed, so it wasn't exhausting at all, and I was able to enjoy the scenery around me at a leisurely pace.

Next time, I want to visit in the summer and enjoy the stunning view from Taiko Rock!

今回初めて白谷雲水峡に行かせて頂きましたが、
苔がすごくキレイに生えてて、一面緑でとても美しかったです！
私はあまり体力に自信がなく、前日に縄文杉まで行って疲れていたので、
苔むすの森まで行けるか少し不安でしたが、
ガイドの方がとてもゆっくりとお話ししながら登ってくださったので、まったくしんどくなく、また、ゆっくり周りの景色を見ながら登ることができました。

次回は夏に訪れて、太鼓岩からの絶景もたのしみたいと思います♪

I was anxious because it was a long time, but the pace was just right, and I was able to go trekking the next day. The conversation was also very interesting.

長時間だったので不安でしたが、ぺースがちょうどよく、翌日もトレッキングできました。
お話もとてても面白かったです。

Although it was outside the pickup area, I was very grateful that they came to get me early in the morning when it was still dark.

This was my first experience with trekking, and I participated with a light-hearted hiking spirit, but due to my lack of experience, it was quite tough and hard. However, thanks to our guide, I was able to reach Taiko Rock safely. There were four friends and two other people with us this time, and we were able to progress at a leisurely pace, which allowed us to enjoy each other's company. Since there are many steep paths, I recommend a private tour for anyone who feels even a little anxious.

The guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything I asked in detail. While walking, they stopped to show us countless plants, asking if we knew their names. They took many photos, making me feel like I was with a professional photographer.

It's important to stop and take photos before walking again, as it can be dangerous otherwise; if you don't follow this rule, the guide will scold you quite sternly, haha.

I was extremely satisfied, and it was worth more than the price. Lying down on Taiko Rock and enjoying the view while taking a leisurely break was the best feeling.

Thanks to the excellent guide, I was able to participate safely, but I think it's important to prepare thoroughly. The early morning course is very dark, and it’s quite dangerous without a headlamp. If you don't have proper hiking shoes, you might slip and twist your ankle. Gloves are also recommended. It was cold, so I was glad I had a neck warmer and a lightweight down jacket. The weather was good, but a lightweight rain jacket is also useful as a windbreaker. Even though I wasn't sweating, I drank about 800ml of water. Sharing small snacks with everyone helped relieve fatigue and was a nice change of pace.

送迎対象外地域でしたが早朝で真っ暗なので迎えにきてくださりとても助かりました。
トレッキングも初体験でハイキング気分で軽い気持ちで参加したので経験不足の為とても辛くてハードでした。しかしガイドさんのおかげで無事に太鼓岩まで登りきることができました。今回は友人4名と他に2名の方がいましたがゆっくりペースで進めたので皆さんと声かけあって楽しむことができました。険しい道が多いのでちょっとでも不安がある人はプライベートをおすすめします。
ガイドさんはとても物知りで聞いたこと全部細かく教えてくれました。歩きながらこんな何も名前があるの？と数えきれないぐらいの植物を立ち止まって見せてくれました。写真も沢山撮ってくれてプロのカメラマンさんと一緒に行った気分です。
写真は必ず立ち止まって撮ったらしまってから歩かないと危ないので守らないとガイドさんにきつく叱られますょ笑
お値段以上の大満足です。
太鼓岩に寝そべって眺望を見ながらゆっくり休憩もできて気分最高でした。
ガイドさんがよかったので安全に参加できましたがやはりいろいろと準備はしっかりした方がいいと思いました。
早朝コースは真っ暗でベッドライトがないととても危険です。靴も登山用のがないと滑って足をひねります。手袋もおすすめします。寒かったので首あて、動きやすいダウンを持っていてよかったです。天気がよかったのですが動きやすい雨具は風よけにもなるので便利でした。汗もかいていないのに水も800mlぐらい飲みました。ちょっとした口に入れるものもみんなで交換して疲れが取れたり気分転換になるのでよかったです。

The first day was incredibly long and challenging, but I was able to push through thanks to the guide's explanations and conversations with the people I met on the tour. After all the effort, seeing Jomon Sugi was an overwhelming experience.

The second day at Taiko Rock also had great scenery, which was amazing. It was about a third of the effort compared to the first day, and I was able to go normally. Both places had different atmospheres, so it was definitely worth visiting.

初日は途方もなく長くて大変だったけれど、ガイドさんの説明やツアーで一緒になった人たちとの会話で頑張ることが出来ました。苦労した分、縄文杉にご対面した時は感無量でした。

二日目の太鼓岩までも、景色が良くこれも最高。初日に比べて三分の一ぐらいで普通に行けました。両方とも雰囲気が違うから行く価値ありました。

Okinawa, which is said to be a power spot for the entire island, is a place I have visited many times, but it was my first time at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. Walking the full trekking course takes about an hour and a half, but I recommend doing the entire route. The course features various powerful strange rocks and sacred banyan trees. I was healed by the mysterious power and abundant negative ions.

Unfortunately, the main aquarium was almost closed due to COVID-19 measures, but thanks to that, inbound tourism from the main island of Okinawa had decreased, allowing for a relaxed visit everywhere.

島全体がパワースポットといわれている沖縄、何度も訪問していますが、大石林山は初めてでした。トレッキングコースをフルで歩くと、１時間半くらいかかりますが、全部行くことをオススメします。コースにはパワーのある様々な奇岩や御願ガジュマルがあります。不思議なパワーとたっぷりのマイナスイオンに癒されました。
その後に寄った美ら海水族館は、残念ながら新型コロナウィルス対策のため、メインの水族館以外はほぼ閉館。
ただ、そのおかげで沖縄本島全体からインバウンドが去り、どこも空いていてゆったり周れました。

I think it was probably the best two days.
First of all, we were blessed with great weather. The view from Taiko Rock was truly spectacular, and it felt like we could see everything. The journey was neither too hot nor too cold, and despite the COVID-19 situation, there were fewer people, allowing us to leisurely enjoy sights like Jomon Sugi.
I participated alone, but the members who happened to be there were naturally like-minded, so we were able to have various conversations and enjoy ourselves.

おそらくベストに近い二日間だったと思います。
まずはとにかく天気に恵まれました。太鼓岩からの眺めはまさに絶景で、見えるもの全てが見渡せた感じです。道中は暑くもなく寒くもなく、にも関わらずコロナ禍で人は少なめで、縄文杉を始め一通りのんびりと眺めることができました。
一人での参加でしたが居合わせたメンバーも必然的に価値観の近い人が集まっているのでいろんな話をして楽しむことができました。

I had hardly ever done any mountain climbing before, but I really wanted to see Jomon Sugi, so I decided to join a tour.

During the tour, we took breaks at appropriate intervals, and the guides provided us with information about the target arrival times and guidelines for each point, which allowed us to walk with peace of mind. It was also helpful that they informed us about dangerous areas and how to handle them in advance.

The day before, when I went to Shiratani Unsuikyo alone, I struggled and got lost due to the thick fog, so I was even more grateful that I had signed up for this tour before my trip!

普段ほとんど登山などはしたことがなかったのですが、どうしても縄文杉が見たかったのでツアーに参加することにしました。

ツアーでは適度に休憩を挟みながら、各ポイントへの到着目標時間や目安などを教えて頂きながらトレッキングしたため、安心して歩くことができました。また危険な箇所や対応の仕方も事前に教えて貰えよかったです。

前日に白谷雲水峡に1人で行った時に、霧が濃かったこともあり、道に迷ったり苦労したため、尚更旅行前にこのツアーを申し込んでいて良かったと思いました！

At the end of December 2019, I attempted to reach the Arakawa trailhead but had to give up due to heavy rain! On March 17, 2020, I made a second attempt. I kept a close eye on the weather forecast and changed my tour reservation several times before the day arrived, and I was able to go on a day with perfect weather. Our guide, Mr. Kawada, was incredibly thorough, providing many informative stories about the basics of mountain walking and the history of Yakusugi, and I truly felt it was worth hiring a guide. Thank you very much. We departed from the trailhead at 5:30 AM and returned at 3:40 PM. As someone over 60, I felt a sense of accomplishment after walking 22 km in the mountains. It was all thanks to our guide.

2019.12月末、大雨で荒川登山口まで行くが断念！2020.3.17 再挑戦でした。天気予報睨めっこでツアー申し込みも何度か変更を繰り返し当日を迎え、最高の天気のなか行って来ました。ガイドの川田さんの案内は実に丁寧で山歩きの基本や屋久杉の歴史など勉強になる話が多く、ガイドをお願いして本当に良かったと思います。有難うございました。登山口5:30出発ー15:40帰着　還暦過ぎ22kmの山歩きに達成感あり。ガイドさんのお蔭だな。

It became a wonderful memory.
The tour guide was very kind and funny,
and although the journey to Yakusugi was tough,
the enjoyment outweighed that.

それ以上に楽しさが勝ちました。

I usually travel around by rental car, but since this was a solo trip, I decided to try a bus tour. From Naha City, it takes about three hours by car. After that, visiting the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and the Daisekirinzan, I was a bit concerned about my stamina, but to conclude, I think choosing the bus tour was the right decision!

On the way there, we enjoyed sightseeing through the bus windows with the guidance of the tour conductor and audio guide, so we arrived in no time. Although I’m not very confident in my physical stamina, I was able to comfortably complete the entire course, perhaps pushed by the energy of Daisekirinzan.

I often visit aquariums, so I intentionally skipped the inside and walked around outside, which resulted in me walking 15,545 steps that day. I did end up with some muscle soreness, but I have no regrets! Regarding Daisekirinzan, taking photos can take quite a bit of time, so I wish we had a little more time to spare. Considering the lunch schedule, I think it was a bit tight.

The Churaumi Aquarium also has attractions outside, so when you go, definitely bring sunglasses and sunscreen! The reflection from below can burn both your eyes and skin! On the way back, I was exhausted and worn out, so the bus tour was indeed the right choice.

普段はレンタカーであちこち回るのですが、今回は一人旅でしたので、バスツアーに挑戦してみました。
那覇市内からだと、車で3時間。その後に、大石林山を回り、美ら海水族館を回るとなると、体力的に不安があったので、結論から言えば、バスツアー正解だと思います！
行きは、添乗員さんや音声ガイドの案内で、車窓観光を楽しみながらでしたので、あっという間に到着。
体力に自信はありませんが、大石林山のパワーに押されて？、全コースも余裕で回ることができました。
水族館は個人的に良く行ってるので館内は敢えてスルーして、外を歩き回ってたためか、この日1日で、15,545歩歩いてました。
さすがに、筋肉痛にはなりましたが、後悔はしてません！
大石林山に関しては、写真撮ったりとかしてると時間を結構取られるので、もう少し時間に余裕があるといいなとは思いました。お昼の時間のこともあるので、スケジュールとしてはギリギリだとは思いますが。
美ら海水族館は、外にも見どころがありますから、行くときは是非、サングラスと日焼け止め必須で！！下からの照り返しで、目も肌も焼けます！
帰りは、さすがに疲れてぐったりだったので、やはりバスツアー正解でしたね。

I wanted to take on the challenge of Oishi Shinsan again, so I participated in this tour once more. I wanted to stay a little longer, and this time I was able to stay for about 30 minutes longer, which was great. However, in the end, I had to rush, so I believe that a stay of at least 2 hours is necessary for this place. In future tours, I definitely want the stay at Oishi Shinsan to be at least 2 hours!

大石林山に再チャレンジしたくて、再度このツアーに参加しました。少しでも長く滞在したかったので、今回は30分くらい長く滞在できてとてもよかったです。それでも最後は駆け足になったので、やはり2時間は滞在時間が必要な場所だと思います
今後のツアーではぜひ大石林山滞在時間を2時間は欲しいと思います！！

I was worried about my sister's stamina, but signing up for the tour was definitely the right choice. I am grateful that we were able to reach our destinations on both days at a precise pace.

On the first day, we had Tsubone as our guide. She frequently checked to make sure we weren't falling behind and gave us advice on what clothes to take off or put on during breaks. She also took many photos for us.

On the second day, we had Uranishi as our guide. He taught us a lot about the flowers and moss, and took beautiful photos using the panorama feature.

As individuals, we might have been too focused on just walking and could have missed some points, but he explained everything thoroughly. Having a guide made it much easier mentally.

I am truly grateful for the wonderful guides and the experience of Yakushima over the two days. Thank you very much!

私はともかく、姉の体力が心配でした。
ツアーに申し込んで大正解です。的確なペース配分で2日とも目的地にたどり着くことができ感謝してます。
1日目はツボネさんでした。こまめに後ろを振り返り遅れていないかの確認や、休憩のタイミングでどの服を脱ぎ着するかのアドバイス、また写真もたくさん撮ってくださりました。
2日目はウラニシさんでした。
花や苔の説明などたくさんのことを教えてくださいました。写真もパノラマ機能を使い素敵に撮ってくださいました。

個人では歩くことに必死になって、見落としてしまいそうなポイントもあますことなく説明していただきました。やはり、先導してくださる方がいると気持ち的にも楽でした。

2日間とも素敵なガイドさんと屋久島を堪能できて感謝しかありません。本当にありがとうございました。

- Day 1: Jomon Sugi
The return trip on the trolley path was a bit fast, but the pace otherwise was just right. There were some areas where I didn't receive explanations while other guides were explaining, but it wasn't a problem since I could ask questions and get answers. They were very attentive at the photo spots. Not all the guides are great at speaking, so it's good to keep that in mind.

- Day 2
A different guide from Day 1. I felt that Shiratani Unsuikyo was a version without the trolley path from the Jomon Sugi course. The guide taught us how to use the poles and walk, and the pace was slow, which allowed me to relax since I had muscle soreness from Day 1. I think this was because I communicated my condition in advance.

- Summary
The weather forecast predicted rain on Day 2, but we were blessed with good weather both days and had a great time! There are tours that cover both in one day, but I wouldn't recommend it in terms of time and physical stamina. I recommend spreading it over two days. It's a bit disappointing that the rented backpack was worn out.

・1日目縄文杉へ
帰りのトロッコ道は少しペースが早かったですが、それ以外のペースは、ちょうどよかったです。
他のガイドさんが説明しているところで、説明してもらえなかったところがありましたが…質問したら答えてもらえたので、問題はありませんでした。
写真ポイントの箇所では丁寧に対応してくださいました
ガイドさん全員が話し上手というわけではないので、そこは理解しておいた方がいいかと思います。
・2日目
1日目とは違うガイドさん。白谷雲水峡は縄文杉コースのトロッコ道がなくなったバージョンだと感じました。
ポールの使い方や歩き方を教えてくださり、又ペースもゆっくりで、1日目で筋肉痛だった自分には安心して過ごすことができました。
事前に自分の状態を伝えておいたためだと思います。
・まとめ
天気予報では2日目が雨の予報でしたが、両方とも天気に恵まれ、楽しく過ごすことができました！
1日で両方巡るツアーもありますが、時間的、体力的にもお勧めはしません。二日に分けて巡る方をお勧めします。レンタルしたリュックがボロボロなのが少し残念

I was able to visit Yakushima, which I had always wanted to see, and it was amazing to finally walk to Jomon Sugi. I was a beginner at trekking, but thanks to the guide who walked at a good pace, I was able to go and return without any difficulty. There was an accident with someone from the same tour on the way back, but I felt reassured by the prompt response.

ずっと行ってみたいと思っていた屋久島に来れて、縄文杉まで歩きたいと思っていたのが実現して最高でした。
トレッキングは初心者だったのですが、ガイドさんがいいペースで歩いてくれたおかげで、無理なく行って帰れたと思います。
帰りに同じツアーの方にアクシデントがありましたが、適確に対応していただけて安心しました。

This time, I had a three-hour stay at Oishi Rinsan, which I was really looking forward to visiting the most! However, when the same group was having a photo session for over 10 minutes, it was quite troublesome for those of us waiting behind them. It was also disappointing that a group of 6 or 7 men was making a lot of noise while walking around, as I wanted to enjoy the tranquility. I couldn't help but wonder what they were there for.

Once again, this is a power spot and a place of worship. Let's be considerate of those around us and follow proper etiquette! The spirits are watching!

今回、大石林山が３時間の滞在時間となり、1番訪れたかったのでとても楽しみにしていました！
ただ同じ場所で10分以上も撮影大会されると、後ろで待っている人たちもいるので、とても困りました。他にも6〜7人の男性グループがずっと大声を出して騒ぎながらまわっていたのも静寂な中で回りたかっただけにとても残念でした！何しにきたのかなと思うくらいです。
今一度、パワースポットだろうとここは拝所です。周りへの思いやりを持ってマナーは守りましょう！！精霊たちがみてますよ！

I had high expectations because the guide mentioned having nearly 20 years of experience, but when I asked questions about Yakushima or the plants, they often didn't know the answers and mostly just read what was written on the signs. The walking pace was slow, which made me even more tired. I wished they would listen to the customers' needs and adjust the speed accordingly. I felt like I could have gone on my own without a guide.

The day before, when I went to Jomon Sugi with another tour company, the guide was knowledgeable and had an interesting way of speaking, which made me feel this way even more. However, Shiratani Unsuikyo was very nice, so I'm glad I went. The path is easy as well.

ガイドさんがガイド歴が20年近くあると言っていたので期待しましたが、なにか屋久島の事や植物について質問しても分からないと答える事が多く、ほとんど看板に書いてあることをさらっと読むだけでした。歩くペースも遅く余計に疲れました。もっとお客さんのニーズを聞いてスピード調整をして欲しかったです。これならガイドなしで自分一人で行けば良かったかなと感じました。

前日に他のツアー会社で縄文杉に行った時は、知識も豊富で話も面白い素晴らしいガイドさんだったので、余計そう感じてしまいました。
ですが白谷雲水峡はとても良かったので行って良かったです。道も簡単です。

Guide Taniyama made accurate judgments at key points, such as pacing and where to leave our luggage, which eased my anxiety about the long tour and allowed me to follow along with confidence. It was clear that the guide was very knowledgeable, and he answered all my questions in detail, which was very educational.

He also treated us to miso soup using the gas he brought for our lunch. What thoughtful consideration! It was so nice of him to carry something heavy just for us. I was truly moved to enjoy warm miso soup in the middle of the forest.

The plan to go from Taiko Rock to Yakusugi in one day was the perfect way for me to spend my remaining time meaningfully, especially since I wanted to relax on Yakushima. I am grateful that he willingly accepted to arrange such a plan, which is not easy to find. Thank you so much! ✨

ガイドの谷山さんが、ペース配分やここでは荷物を置いていく、など要所で的確な判断をしてくださり、長時間のツアーに不安でしたが安心してついていくことが出来ました。
とても勉強をされているのが分かるガイドさんで、何を聞いても答えてくださり、詳しいので勉強になりました。
またお昼ご飯に持参してくださったガスを使ってお味噌汁をご馳走してくださいました。なんという心配り！重いのにわざわざ持ってきてくださるお心遣いが嬉しいですよね。まさか森の中で温かいお味噌汁をいただけるなんて、感動でした。
１日で太鼓岩〜屋久杉までを行くプランは、屋久島でゆっくり過ごしたい私にとっては残りの時間を有意義に過ごすことが出来る最高のプランで、そういったプランがなかなかない中で、それを快く引き受けてくださることに感謝です。
本当にありがとうございます✨

Day 1
The trekking to Jomon Sugi was enriched by the tour experience. Among the various sightseeing spots, I was able to hear enjoyable stories and truly feel the nature around me. The weather was favorable from the morning, and I could see the mountains of Yakushima clearly. Since there were fewer tourists at this time, I didn't have to worry about the restrooms being crowded, and they were conveniently located for breaks, so it was not a problem. I did bring a portable toilet just in case.

Day 2
We started under a cloudy sky. By the time we reached Taiko Rock, the sun peeked through, and I was able to enjoy the scenery. There were several impressive landmarks along the way, making for a fun hike.

This was my first time in Yakushima. I participated as a solo female traveler, and it was a tour that I could fully enjoy even alone. I was able to ask the guide all the questions I wanted, and the time flew by.

１日目
縄文杉までのトレッキングは、ツアーだからこその内容が充実していました。観光名所のポイントがいくつもある中で、より楽しめる話が聞けたり、自然を肌で感じることができました♪
朝から天候に恵まれ、屋久島の山々もよく見えました。
この時期観光客も少なかったこともあり、心配していたトイレは混むこともなく、休憩とりながら、ちょうどいい場所にあったので問題なかったです。一応、簡易トイレは持っていってました。

2日目
曇り空の中スタート。太鼓岩に着く頃には晴れ間が見え、こちらも景色を満喫できました。見応えのある名所も所々あり、楽しいハイキングとなりました。

今回、初屋久島。女性一人参加しましたが、一人参加でも充分楽しめるツアーでした。ガイドさんに聞きたい話も聞けて、あっという間でした。

I have been to Okinawa Island several times, but I had never been to the northernmost point. Since I was alone, I thought it would be easier to use this bus tour rather than renting a car, and that turned out to be the right choice. However, everyone who participated in the tour mentioned that the last stop at the aquarium was unnecessary. Those who join this tour usually have no other options to visit the northernmost point and have been to Okinawa multiple times, so they have already visited the aquarium several times. Instead, I would have preferred to spend more time at Daichi Forest.

　何度か沖縄本島は行っているのですが、最北端はまだ一度も行っていないですし、１人でしたので、レンタカーを借りるよりは、こちらのバスツアーで行く方が楽と思い、利用しました。それ自体は、正解でしたが、参加されたみなさんが、みんな言っていたのは、最後の水族館はいらないという意見でした。このツアーに参加される方は、最北端へ行くツアーが他になく、沖縄には何度も行っている方なので、水族館はもう何度も行っているので、それなら、水族館は行かずに、大石林山の滞在時間をもっと増やしてほしかったです。
