Honestly, when I booked this tour, I thought the driver would just take us from place to place, but they guided us to some great recommended spots beyond the scheduled attractions, like an old station where seven-star hotels stop, the source of a waterfall that features Japan's oldest rock bath, and a hot spring source with rising steam. It was a lot of fun. (Maybe I just had a great driver...) They also prioritized our time well, and we arrived at the station right on schedule. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories.

However, if you imagine wild bears, you might feel a bit disappointed. Still, I was overwhelmed by the massive size of the bears seen up close from the human enclosure.

The park isn't very large, so you can get around in about 30 minutes if you're quick. The entrance fee isn't high, so I thought it was a facility you could easily stop by.

It was much more fun than I imagined. Since I went on a rainy day, the amusement park was closed, but the penguin parade and shows went ahead as scheduled.

The interior was beautifully decorated for Halloween, which was very exciting. There were plenty of photo spots. My 2-year-old and 4-year-old children also enjoyed themselves. The silhouette Halloween decorations in the corridor had various patterns and were lovely.

The penguin parade was set to take place at "Nix Square," so I was waiting for the start time while taking shelter from the rain near the ticket booth. However, even when the time came, no one gathered, and there was no sign of it starting... I searched for staff but couldn't find anyone, so I lined up at the ticket window and asked. I was told that it would be coming from the back of the square, so it would have been better if that had been clearer.

Also, since the dolphin show always splashes water into the audience, I think it would be good to have an announcement or a sign about that in advance. When I went, it was raining, and I was wearing a raincoat, so it was fine, but I think it would have been disastrous if my iPhone or bag got wet without me knowing.

雨の日に行ったので遊園地はやってませんでしたが、ペンギンパレードやショーは予定通り行われました。

館内は凝ったハロウィン装飾があちこちに施され、とてもわくわくしました。写真映えスポットたくさんです。2歳と4歳の子供達も楽しんでいました。
回廊廊下にあるシルエットのハロウィン装飾も色々なパターンがあって素敵でした。

ペンギンパレードの場所が「ニクス広場」ということで、チケット売り場のあたりで雨宿りしながら開始時間を待っていたのですが、時間になっても人も集まらず始まる気配もない・・・スタッフの方を探し回るもどこにも見当たらず、チケット窓口に並んで窓口の方に聞きました。広場の奥の方から歩いてくるということだったので、もっとわかりやすければ良かったです。

また、イルカのショーは必ず客席に水が飛んでくるので、事前にアナウンスするか貼り紙などあった方が良いと思います。
私が行ったときは雨降りでカッパを着ていたから良かったですが、知らずにiphoneとかカバンが濡れたら悲惨だったと思います。

My daughter loves Sumikko Gurashi, so we went there. The ticket booth at Tokyo Skytree wasn't crowded, but there was a line at the Sumida Aquarium's ticket booth, so we were lucky to have our tickets in advance and were able to enter smoothly without waiting. The Sumida Aquarium is small but interesting. The jellyfish exhibit was particularly amazing. The penguin family tree made me chuckle. I hope everyone gets to see it.

I knew it would be hot, but I wanted to make the most of my precious time off and walk the Kumano Kodo, so I researched and found this plan. Since it was a solo trip, I hesitated at the rather luxurious price, but in the end, it became a wonderful memory! There were so many great things that I can't list them all here, but I'll mention a few that come to mind.

- They asked in advance about the places I wanted to visit → If you have specific preferences, feel free to communicate them, and they will build the route based on that. My wishes were Nakahara and Kumano Hongu Taisha, and the driver took me to many famous spots within the time available. I also requested to stop by a drugstore for some extra supplies, and they kindly accommodated that on the way back.

- Efficient routing → We were able to visit two places: Kumano Hongu Taisha (plus Osaibara) and Hayatama Taisha. They parked very close to the main hall, making it easy to reach.

- The Nakahara walk plus additional stops → They guided me to places like the giant ginkgo tree, Nonaka no Shimizu, and the tea house at the pass, which I wouldn't have been able to reach on my own. I visited Wakayama using public transportation this time, but even if I had rented a car, the roads are so narrow that I wouldn't have been able to drive. 暑いことは分かっていたけれど、せっかく取れた休みを有意義に過ごしたいのと熊野古道を歩きたいのとがあって、何か良い手段はないかと調べていてこちらのプランに行き着きました。一人旅ですので随分と贅沢な値段だな…と悩みましたが、結果とても良い思い出になりました！ここに書き切れないくらい色々と良いところがありましたが、思いつく限り挙げてみます。

・事前に行きたい場所を聞いてくれた→こだわりがある方は遠慮なく伝えておくと、それをもとにルートを組み立ててくれる感じです。私の希望は中辺路と熊野本宮大社だったので、あとは運転手さんが有名どころを時間いっぱい、たくさん回ってくれました。また、買い足しのためにドラッグストアに寄りたいとリクエストしたら帰り道の途中に寄ってくれるなど、臨機応変に対応してくれて有り難かったです。

・効率良く回れる→熊野本宮大社（＋大斎原）と速玉大社の2箇所に行くことができました。拝殿に一番近い所に駐車してくれるので、拝殿までさっくりとたどり着けます。

・中辺路ウォーク＋αであちこち立ち寄れた→大銀杏や野中の清水、峠の茶屋など自力では行けない所にも案内してくれました。今回は公共交通機関で和歌山を訪れましたが、仮にレンタカーだったとしても自分では運転できそうにないくらい道が細いです。タクシー観光ならではの小回りがきくところだと思います。

・その他有名どころのガイドも面白かった→橋杭岩、三段壁、千畳敷、円月島にも連れて行ってもらいました。特に三段壁ではガイドブックに絶対載ってないような話をしてくれて、楽しめました。

一日かけての観光ですので、さすがに疲れます笑。中身が相当詰まってますんで当然ですね笑。その時の体調などによって数は調整したら良いですし、何よりこの酷暑の中でこれだけ回れたのもタクシーだからです。走行距離だけでいってもお値段以上に走っているのではないかと思います。ひとつだけ残念だったのは、希望していた昼食場所がことごとくお休みだったこと！定休日じゃなく臨時休業だったのでしょうがないですね。でも急遽立ち寄った道の駅のめはり寿司も美味しかったです。グループ旅行で利用されるならかなりお得な値段だと思いますし、旅程に余裕がないけれど目一杯観光したい方にもオススメします。ありがとうございました。

This time, I explored places related to Prince Shotoku by myself. I was very satisfied to be able to visit Asukadera and Tachibana-dera, which are not easy to access without a car. We arrived at Nanki-Shirahama Airport by plane, and were picked up at the airport. We were then taken on a taxi tour to the main sites of the Kumano Kodo. They stopped at recommended points for us and waited for us at the end of the paths we walked. My elderly mother was able to explore the Kumano Kodo with peace of mind. If you're considering renting a car and paying for parking, I definitely recommend this option where you can enjoy guided tours that include admission fees. However, be prepared to do quite a bit of walking. Other than that, the guide provides explanations, so you don't need to prepare in advance, and the optional bento for 1,000 yen is reasonably priced.
