Twenty minutes before the meeting time, I went to the sightseeing bus reception on the second floor of JR Nara Station, where I was greeted with a smile and received a paper badge, a seating chart, a tourist map of Nara, and a special handkerchief.

◯ Todai-ji
There was a guide up to the pillar with a large hole the size of the Great Buddha's nose inside the temple. It was half guided and half free exploration.

◯ Kasuga-taisha
We got off at the second torii gate and had a guided tour around Kasuga-taisha. Kasuga-taisha cherishes wisteria flowers, and the shrine maidens had wisteria hairpins in their hair. (It seems that taking photos of the shrine maidens is not allowed.)

◯ Kofuku-ji
We received a brief guide on the history of Kofuku-ji. The five-story pagoda was under construction. Since we had to be quiet in the treasure hall, we had about 30 minutes for free exploration.

◯ Wakakusa-yama
At the observation deck at the summit, there was a guide, and the rest of the time was for personal photography and free wandering. Since it was close to evening, we were able to see a fantastic landscape.

It was the peak of the Obon holiday, and we ran a bit behind schedule, so for those who are concerned about the next plans or train times during busy seasons, it would be wise to check in advance. Despite being only half a day, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the guide and the driver were very nice, and it became a wonderful memory. I would like to participate in other plans as well. Thank you!

　興福寺の歴史を簡単にガイドしていただきました
　五重の塔は工事中でした
　宝物館は静かにしなくてはいけないので，30分くらい自由見学時間がありました
◯若草山
　山頂の展望台にてガイドがあり，残りは個人で写真撮影と自由散策でした
　夕方近くでしたので，幻想的な風景を見ることができました

お盆真っ盛りで，時間が少し押しましたので，繁忙期は次の予定や電車の時間など気にされる方は事前に確認した方がよさそうてす
半日にも関わらず，とても満喫できました
ガイドさんも運転手さんもとてもいい方々でいい思い出になりました
また他のプランで参加したいと思います

I had plans in Ikebukuro in the evening, so I was looking for how to spend the free time until then, and I found a ticket set for the aquarium and observatory, which I decided to use this time. Even though it was a weekday during summer vacation, I thought it would be crowded, but perhaps because it was in the evening, it wasn't as busy as I expected. I was able to take my time and enjoy a relaxing experience for the first time in a while. It's affordable and allows you to go at your own pace with a reservation! I would like to use it again.

池袋で夜から予定があったので、それまでの空いた時間をどう過ごそうかと探していたら水族館と展望台セットのチケットがあったので今回はこちらを利用しました。
平日とは言え夏休み中なので混雑しているかと思いきや、夕方の時間帯だったせいか思った程でもなく、ゆっくりと見て回れて久々に癒しの時間を過ごせました。
事前予約で自分のタイミングで行ける上に安い！また利用したいと思います。

It was a region where sightseeing was difficult without a car, so I used this service and it was definitely the right choice! The driver had created his own sightseeing guidebook and taught us various things, making the tour very meaningful. We were able to go to all the places we wanted, and he took many wonderful photos at each location. I thought taxi sightseeing was great. I definitely want to recommend it!

I'm really glad that we could efficiently explore the Asuka region, which is difficult to cover on our own. The VR experience was enjoyable without making us feel dizzy since we watched it after parking, and it was fascinating as a first-time experience. Most importantly, it helped us visualize that era, allowing us to learn more about the Asuka and Nara periods.

Although it was a very hot season, the service was excellent, with umbrellas provided and cold towels distributed! The guide and driver were also kind, making it a truly enjoyable day.

Many people might think that Nara Prefecture only has attractions within Nara City, but participating in this tour will definitely make you feel like you've fully enjoyed Nara!

自分たちでは中々回りきれない明日香地方を効率よく観光できて本当によかったです。VRも駐車してから鑑賞するので酔うこともなく、初めての体験で面白かったですし、何よりその当時のイメージが沸いて、より深く飛鳥・奈良時代を知ることができました。
暑さが厳しい時季でしたが、日傘を貸していただいたり、冷たいおしぼりを配布する等、サービスが素晴らしかったです！ガイドさんや運転手さんも親切で、本当に楽しい1日となりました。

奈良県というと、奈良市内の名所だけと思われる方が多いと思いますが、このツアーに参加することで、「より奈良を満喫した！」と思えること間違いなしです。

The detailed explanations from the bus guide were great during the intense heat. There were no students on the school trip, so it was quite empty, making it recommended for those who can handle the heat.

I was really worried about the weather, but I was truly lucky. It was humid, but I didn't need an umbrella, and I felt happy. The taxi driver was very polite and explained various historical facts and figures in an easy-to-understand way, which made for a meaningful and valuable experience. Next time, I would like to take a different route and enjoy it more slowly. Thank you very much!

天気がすごく心配でしたが本当にラッキーで蒸し暑さはありましたが傘も必要なく幸せでした。タクシーの道下運転手さんもすごく丁寧に分かりやすく色々な歴史や人物関係とか教えていただき有意義な貴重な体験をさせていただきました。また今度はもっとゆっくりと違うコースでお願いしたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

I was able to reaffirm the long history of Nara in a short amount of time. The guide explained everything clearly and talked about the history of the places we visited on the bus tour, which was great. However, I thought it would have been better if the seating for lunch had allowed each group of participants to sit together at the same table. It was a memorable and wonderful tour.

奈良の長い歴史を短い時間でしたが、改めて再認識できました。説明してくれたガイドさんもわかり易くバスツアーで行った所の歴史について話をしてくれたので良かった。ひとつだけ今回の参加者は5組だったんですが、昼食を取る所の席が各参加の組でテーブルを離れて座れれば良かったかなと思いました。想い出に残る良いツアーでした。

It was a very hot day, but the visiting time was well balanced, allowing us to efficiently explore. I was very satisfied to enjoy the coolness of the trees at Jiko-in, which I had not known about before, while listening to the priest's talk and having matcha.

とても暑い日でしたが、見学時間もちょうど良い配分で、効率よく回れて、今まで存じ上げなかった慈光院で木々の涼しさに癒されながら住職のお話を伺ってお抹茶をいただいたり大変満足でした。

I was accompanied by two elderly individuals from the countryside. They were flexible in accommodating our request to change the number of participants on the day of the tour. Additionally, they adjusted the route and timing according to our preferences. Although it was a short time, we had a very satisfying tour of Yokohama's famous spots.

It had been over 20 years since I last visited Hōryū-ji, Yakushi-ji, and Tōshōdai-ji. It was the school trip season, but perhaps due to the timing, I was able to visit all of them comfortably and was very satisfied.

20余年ぶりの法隆寺、薬師寺、唐招提寺でした。修学旅行シ-ズンでしたが時間帯が良かったのかいずれもゆったりと見学する事ができ大満足でした。

I used this taxi service for sightseeing in Nara with my mother in her 70s. The person in charge was very knowledgeable and provided explanations about the characteristics of each temple and cultural assets, occasionally adding some humor. If I have the opportunity to visit Nara again, I would like to request this taxi company.

I visited Nara with my wife for the first time since our elementary school field trip. Back then, we had a whirlwind trip over two days, visiting Nara, Kyoto, and Osaka, so my memories of Nara were limited to seeing Kofuku-ji reflected in Sarusawa Pond and feeding the deer in Nara Park.

When we decided to go to Nara this time, I initially thought about renting a car to visit the main shrines and temples. However, considering that I was unfamiliar with the area, the challenge of securing parking, the high individual entrance fees, and lacking knowledge about the shrines and temples, I felt that even if we went, it wouldn't be enjoyable. So, I searched online for a good tour plan. I happened to come across a one-day tour organized by Nara Kotsu that included Horyu-ji, Yakushi-ji, and Toshodai-ji, and I made a reservation, albeit with some skepticism about its cost-effectiveness.

Once the tour began, it turned out to be a delightful bus trip, with our skilled driver, Mr. K, ensuring safe driving, and our bus guide, Ms. Y, providing a humorous commentary filled with information about the temples we visited. The tour progressed on time and was more enjoyable than I had expected. After the trip, we stopped by an izakaya and enjoyed local Yamato vegetables and tofu dishes while sharing impressions from the tour over some local sake, creating new memories together.

　小学校の修学旅行以来の奈良見物を妻としました。当時は、一泊二日で奈良、京都、大阪を巡る強行旅行だったためか奈良の思い出と言えば、猿沢池に映る興福寺と奈良公園内で鹿にせんべいをやったことしかありませんでした。
　今回奈良に行くと決めた当初はレンタカーを借りて、主要な神社仏閣を見て回ることを考えましたが、やはり土地勘もない上、駐車場の確保、割高な個人拝観料、見学する神社仏閣に関する知識・情報がない状況では、行った事実になっても、何も面白味がないと思い、ネットでお得なツアープランを探しました。たまたま奈良交通主催「法隆寺、薬師寺、唐招提寺」等を巡る一日ツアーが目に止まり、コスパ・タイパになるツアーか半信半疑のまま早速予約を入れました。
　実際ツアーが始まると安全運転で熟練のドライバーＫさんと見学先の仏閣の表・裏の情報を交えたコミカルな話しぶりのバスガイドＹさんの息の合ったツアー劇場が時間通り進行して、予想以上に楽しいバス旅行となりました。旅行終了後は、居酒屋に飛び込み、妻と地の大和野菜や豆腐を使った料理、ツアーでお互い印象に残ったことなど肴に地酒など呑みながら、新たな思い出を作りました。

We were able to efficiently visit five locations, and the guide's explanations were thorough and easy to understand. The guide was also an interesting person, which added to the enjoyment.
Nara can be challenging to explore on your own, so I recommend this for first-timers or those who want to see everything efficiently.
However, unfortunately, the meal was terrible.
If possible, I would like to see a course option that allows for a choice between including meals or having free time for meals.

五カ所を効率良く周れ、ガイドさんの説明も丁寧で分かりやすかったです。ガイドさん自身が面白い方だったのでプラスαで楽しめました。
奈良は個人で廻るのは大変なので初めての方や、効率よく周りたい方にお勧めです。
ただ…残念ながら食事は酷かったです。
可能なら食事付き、食事なし（各自自由）を選べるコースを作って頂きたいです。

It was a journey fitting for the last day of a three-day tour. Starting from the Omiwa Shrine, which is dedicated to Mount Miwa mentioned in mythology, I thoroughly enjoyed the era of Prince Shotoku all the way to Asuka-dera, which I had wanted to visit the most. It was my first experience with VR, and it was fun and educational with exciting images that made seeing the actual sites even more thrilling. The "somen no fushi" I bought from a shop on the approach to Omiwa Shrine has been delicious in my miso soup.

The photo is of the ceiling painting at Tachibana-dera, which is quite recent, and you can lie down in the main hall to admire it. By that time, I was starting to feel tired and almost dozed off.

3連続ツアー参加の最終日にふさわしい旅でした。神話にも記される三輪山を御神体とする大神神社から始まり、一番行きたかった飛鳥寺まで聖徳太子の時代を満喫しました。VR初体験でしたが、現物を見るのがワクワクするような画像で楽しかったし、勉強になりました。大神神社の参道のお店で買った「そうめんのふし」はお味噌汁の具でおいしくいただいてます。
写真は、橘寺の天井画で極最近の物ですが、本堂に寝っ転がり鑑賞できます。疲れが出てくる頃でウトウトしてしまいそうになりました。

Am I being too greedy trying to visit four places? There wasn't enough time at any of them. There are many facilities on the vast grounds. I guess it can't be helped. Next time, I want to take my time exploring. Thank you very much.

4ヵ所回ろうとしているのが欲張りすぎ？どこも時間が足りませんでした。広大な敷地にたくさんの施設。仕方ないですよね。今度はゆっくり回ってみたいと思います。ありがとうございました。

It was great that I could visit Kofuku-ji before the tour started, even though the boarding and alighting stations were different. After getting off at Nara Station, I strolled along Sanjo Street to buy souvenirs, making for a very fulfilling day. Since I participated in consecutive tours from the day before, I used a 500 yen refund and a 10% discount coupon per person, which made the upgraded souvenirs very well received. We walked a lot during the tour, and when including the time before and after, I exceeded 19,000 steps. I was able to see the Buddha statues and temples I wanted to see, enjoy delicious meals, and even have a tea experience at Jiko-in, making it a wonderful trip. Thank you for the recommended photo spots from the guide.

乗車駅と下車駅が違っても良かったので、ツアー出発前に興福寺を見学してからツアーに参加、奈良駅で下車後に三条通りを散策しながらお土産購入と、とても濃い1日でした。前日から連続ツアー参加でしたので、1人に付き500円戻しと10パーセント割引券を使い、少しグレードアップしたお土産が喜ばれています。ツアーもたくさん歩きましたが、前後も入れると19000歩超えでしたが、見たかった仏像や仏閣が見られ、美味しい食事と慈光院でのお茶体験までできて、良い旅になりました。ガイドさんお薦めの写真ポイントもありがとうこざいます。

It was a full day of sightseeing. I was definitely tired, but it's something I couldn't have done on my own, so the sightseeing bus was really appreciated. I especially enjoyed having matcha and sweets during tea time. I once again felt that the sightseeing bus offers great value for both time and cost.

丸一日使っての観光でした。さすがに疲れましたが個人ではこれだけまわることは出来ないので観光バスはありがたいですね。特にお茶タイムでお抹茶とお菓子をいただいたのが良かったですね。観光バスはタイパもコスパもとても良いと改めて感じました。

In May, I participated with my elderly parents and my 5-year-old son. Our driver, who was a Kumano Kodo advisor, took us from our hotel in Shirahama to the grave of Kiyohime, and we visited Takijiri Oji, Ushibako Doji, and Nonaka no Shimizu, where he recommended a great lunch spot. We enjoyed some mountain climbing at key points while visiting Kumano Hongu Taisha, Sandasha, and Daizaihara. It was wonderful that we could walk only where we wanted along the way, allowing everyone to enjoy without any strain. The driver was also very knowledgeable about the geography and history of Kumano Kodo and Wakayama, generously sharing information about local supermarkets, which made our trip even more memorable and meaningful. It was worth the price. Thank you very much for your excellent service this time!

5月に高齢の両親と5歳の息子と4人で参加しました。熊野古道アドバイザーのドライバーさんに白浜のホテルから清姫のお墓、滝尻王子〜牛馬童子〜野中の清水〜途中おススメのランチのお店を紹介頂き、要所要所の山登りを楽しみながら熊野本宮大社、産田社、大齋原を周りました。道中歩きたい所だけ歩け、無理なく全員が楽しめて本当に良かったです。またドライバーさんが熊野古道や和歌山の地理歴史を大変勉強されていて、私達に惜しみ無く地元のスーパーの情報等も教えて下さり、旅がより一層思い出深く感慨深いものとなりました。お値段の価値はあります。今回は本当にお世話になりありがとうございました！

I was looking forward to the theater-style aquarium that I had been curious about for a while. Each exhibit was creatively designed, but the third floor was particularly beautiful and elegant. The area with books allowed me to leisurely read various genres, which was very enjoyable. On the fourth floor, due to the rain that day, I couldn't sit in the café or observe the otters closely, so I thought it would be nice to have a roof there.

前から気になっていた劇場型水族館という事で楽しみにしていました。それぞれの展示も工夫がこなされて良かったですが中でも3階フロアーが美しく雅やかで、また書籍のエリアは自由に色んな分野の本を読む事ができゆったりと過ごす事が出来ました。4階は当日は雨のためカフェを利用して座ることもカワウソたちもじっくりみられなかったので屋根があると良いなと思いました。

I spent two days in Kyoto and now I'm on my third day in Nara. I'm heading back tomorrow.
The history is becoming more and more fascinating (laughs).
Following yesterday's visit to Ikaruga and Nishi no Kyo, I continued to the Asuka period.
At the Ishibutai Tumulus, I encountered a field trip of elementary and middle school students, and they seemed to be enjoying their lunch time in the plaza.

石舞台古墳では小中学生の遠足と遭遇、広場でのランチタイムが楽しそうでした。

Despite the light rain, I was thrilled to visit Nara for the first time. The pagodas and temple complexes of Hōryū-ji, Yakushi-ji, and Tōshōdai-ji had a charming atmosphere as they were wet from the rain, and the national treasure statues were amazing. I wished I could have spent half a day relaxing in the garden viewed from the tea room at Jikō-in if I had more time.

あいにくの小雨でしたが初めての奈良に感激です。法隆寺•薬師寺•唐招提寺の塔と伽藍が小雨にぬれた趣のある雰囲気、国宝の仏像が最高でした。慈光院の茶室から眺める庭園は時間があれば半日でもゆっくりしたかったな。

It had been several decades since I last visited Nara. I had planned to explore on my own by obtaining a sightseeing map in advance, but since I only had one day, I decided to use a bus tour. I was determined not to miss any of the guide's extensive explanations. We efficiently visited famous temples, and the historical stories and backgrounds were explained in a way that kept me engaged throughout. I'm glad I participated in this tour. Thank you very much. Next time, I would like to take my time exploring the attractions I haven't visited yet.

奈良観光は数十年ぶりでした。
事前に観光マップを取り寄せ自力での観光を考えていましたが、
限られた1日でしたのでバスツアーを利用してみることにしました。
ガイドさんの幅広い説明を聞き漏らすまいと必死でした。
有名なお寺を効率良く回り歴史的な話、背景を飽きることなく説明してくださりこのツアーに参加して正解でした。

次回はまだ訪れていない名所などじっくりと回りたいと思っています。

I toured Tono using a rental car, visiting places like the Denshōen and Kojin Shrine, but there were so many attractions that I lacked confidence in navigating without local knowledge within a limited time. I also felt I wouldn't be able to enjoy the scenery at a leisurely pace, so I decided to use a sightseeing taxi.

As a result, I was extremely satisfied. The course included the Five Hundred Arhats, which has a possibility of bear sightings and involves considerable distance for climbing up and down, so they removed that from the itinerary. Instead, they added Furusato Village and Jūtankei to the course.

Even though it was during the Golden Week, we set off at 10 AM, which meant it was relatively uncrowded, allowing us to explore the scenic spots at a relaxed pace. Here are the places we visited and the approximate time spent at each:

Tono Hachiman 20 minutes - Fukusenji 20 minutes - Furusato Village 50 minutes - Hayachine Shrine 20 minutes - Jūtankei 20 minutes - Usudori Shrine, Atago Shrine 20 minutes.

It was 3.5 hours in total, but excluding travel time, we were able to enjoy sightseeing for about 2.5 hours. During the travel, we admired the beautiful fresh green scenery and the driver shared interesting points about Tono, so there was never a dull moment. A 2-hour plan would only allow for a quick trip to Furusato Village and back, so choosing the 3.5-hour plan was definitely the right decision.

The driver was friendly and very kind. He drove safely and casually informed us about the attractions at each stop, which helped us relax. This became one of my wonderful memories of Tono.

On sunny days, it's better to have a hat. Also, since you'll be going up and down the approach, comfortable shoes like sneakers are essential.

遠野観光はレンタカーで市街地に近い伝承園や荒神神社を巡りましたが、他については見どころが沢山あり、土地勘がなく限られた時間内で巡れる自信がなく、また、ゆっくり景色を眺められなさそうだったので観光タクシーを利用しました。

結果、大満足でした。コースに含まれる五百羅漢は熊が出没する可能性があり、登り下りで距離があるため外して頂き、代わりにふるさと村と重湍渓をコースに加えて頂きました。

GW期間中でしたが10時出発にしたため、比較的混雑せず、ゆっくり名勝を巡りました。立ち寄った場所と大凡の時間です。

遠野八幡 20分〜福泉寺 20分〜ふるさと村 50分〜早池峰神社 20分〜重湍渓 20分〜卯子酉神社、愛宕神社 20分

3.5時間でしたが移動を除いて2.5時間はゆっくり観光出来ました。また移動中も美しい新緑の風景を愛でつつ、運転手さんに遠野の見所を聞かせて頂き、退屈する事は皆無でした。2時間程度だとふるさと村に行って帰ってくるくらいの時間なので、3.5時間プランにして正解でした。

運転手さんは気さくでとても優しい方でした。安全運転で行く先々でさりげなく見所についても教えてくださり、リラックス出来ました。遠野の良い思い出の一つになりました。

天気の良い日は帽子があった方が良いです。
また参道を上り下りするのでスニーカーなど歩きやすい靴は必須です。

Since it was the first day of the holiday, I thought it would be crowded, but it wasn't at all, and I was able to take my time, which was great. The weather was nice, and the guide's explanations were thorough—an excellent sightseeing experience!

Above all, the bus guide was knowledgeable and great. It had been over thirty years since my last visit to Nara, but I was captivated by the efficient and witty explanations about the places to see. I could really feel that Japan's bus tours have evolved.

何よりもバスガイドさんが博識で良かった。三〇十数年ぶりの奈良だったが、見るべきところを、要領良く、しかもピリリとウィットを効かせた解説に、思わず聞き入ってしまった。日本のバスツアーも進化していることが実感できた。

I was glad that I could go up the Skytree right away since I had made a reservation. However, I had to go to the counter once, so I thought it would be nice if I could just go straight in with the QR code since I was able to get the tickets online.

予約していたので、スカイツリーすぐに登れて、よかったです。
しかし、一度カウンターに行かなければならないので、せっかくネットでチケットとれるなら、そのままQRコードで行けたらいいのになと思いました。

The bus guide's thoughtfulness and guidance were truly wonderful. I was able to enjoy the temple tour in Nara smoothly.

I was able to visit at a good pace without feeling rushed. There were quite a few students due to the revival of school trips. The guide's quick thinking was demonstrated in many situations, which helped us avoid any issues. Even when I had sudden questions for the guide, they kindly shared a lot of knowledge.

However, regarding lunch... I didn't have high expectations since it's typical for tours to include a stop at a souvenir shop, but I did forget about my husband's dish (a small omelet). It's not a big deal, and the souvenir shop likely makes a lot of them.

As a suggestion, it would be nice to have the option of a lunch course provided by the traditional souvenir shops, as well as a paid option for a famous Nara lunch. Since I finally visited the longed-for Nara, I would love to enjoy a delicious lunch. This was just a foodie’s opinion, but the sightseeing course was absolutely perfect.

効率よくかつ慌しくもなく、ゆっくり拝観できました。修学旅行の復活でかなりの生徒さん達。ガイドさんの機転が沢山の場面で発揮。遭遇しなくて済みました。ガイドさんに咄嗟の質問でも、丁寧にかなりの知識を教えて頂いた。
ただ昼食は・・ツアーでのお土産さんとの抱き合わせは、こんなものだなぁ〜と、期待はしていませんが夫の料理に（小さな卵焼き）忘れてましたよ。
大した事でもないし、お土産屋さんも大量に作るので・・

要望としては、従来のお土産物屋さんが提供してくれるランチコースと、追加料金ありの奈良の名物ランチが選べると良いな。
折角、憧れの奈良に行ったのだから美味しいランチ食べたいですね。
食いしん坊の意見でしたが、観光コースは大正解でした。

I used a sightseeing taxi for the first time. I was drawn to the reviews of Hattori Taxi and took the 6-hour Asuka exploration course, where they guided me to almost all the attractions as I requested and provided explanations. They were very attentive and approached the service from the user's perspective. On the second day, I used the same guide for the Ikaruga exploration. I was grateful that we were taken to the restaurant I specified for lunch. I could specify both the pickup and drop-off locations, and they took care of my heavy luggage, allowing my wife and me to enjoy a comfortable sightseeing experience. Thank you very much.

観光タクシーを初めて利用。服部タクシーの口コミに目がとまり飛鳥散策の6時間コースにて要望通りほぼ全ての見所を案内して説明していただきました。とても丁寧で利用者目線に立って対応していただきました。二日目も同じ方の案内で斑鳩散策を利用。ランチも指定したお店に行っていただき、ありがたく思いました。こちらの指定したお迎え先や送り先を指定でき、重い荷物も車に預かって快適な観光を家内と楽しく過ごせました。ありがとうございました。

Each room had its own theme, and all of them were thoughtfully designed. There were plenty of rare fish, and it was adorable to see the turtles slowly wandering around the room. There was a lottery during the visit, and I actually won the grand prize! The 4th floor was an observation deck with a café. The prices were a bit on the higher side, but I bought a cookie that could be stuck onto a straw and a cute éclair. I took my time exploring, so I stayed for nearly three hours. It was a great day.

部屋ごとにテーマがあり、どの部屋も趣向が凝らされていました。
珍しい魚がいっぱい。亀がのそのそと部屋を散歩してる姿もかわいかったです。
途中、抽選があり、なんと・・・特賞を頂きましたｗ
４Ｆは展望階でカフェもありました。
少し値段は高めでしたがストローに刺せるクッキーとかわいいエクレアを購入しました。
ゆっくり見て回ったので3時間近く滞在しました。
いい一日でした。
