We had a wonderful experience by participating in this tour. Our young tour guide was excellent. She gave us a very interesting commentary on Nada Sake Brewery and the history of the region including interesting castles around. We had the opportunity of tasting Sake and buying Sake bottles and Japanese confectionaries and souvenirs. She arranged a buffet lunch for us that was the best lunch we had in all our tours in Japan. Fantastic young guide we all would like to extend our great appreciation for her wonderful job. Good luck for her future

This was my first experience being guided by a monk and even participating in a sutra chant.

During the initial talk by Master Ganjin, I was moved by his sincere thoughts on the arrival of Buddhism and felt the breath of the Tenpyo era.

Next, while listening to stories in front of the main deity of the Golden Hall, Shakyamuni Buddha, along with the Thousand-Handed and Thousand-Eyed Bodhisattva and the national treasure, Yakushi Nyorai, I was in awe. The aura emanating from the statues was truly remarkable, and each one was equally magnificent.

We then toured the lecture hall where the monks studied, and finally, we were able to enter the hall of worship, which is usually off-limits. This hall, known as the "Nikkyo Sharito," is said to enshrine the Buddha's relics brought by Master Ganjin. We were able to hear about its origins and pay our respects nearby. In that hall, the monk chanted sutras for everyone's happiness, marking the end of this tour.

During this tour of the Toshodai-ji Temple in Nara, I had the precious opportunity to touch the spirit of the Tenpyo era and experience the compassion of the Buddha. I highly recommend that everyone try this experience.

今回のようなお坊さんに解説していただいて読経までしていただいたのは、初めての体験です。
最初の鑑真和尚のお話では、仏教伝来への真摯な思いに感動し、天平の時代の息吹を感じることができました。
次に金堂の御本尊の釈迦牟尼如来をはじめ並ぶ千手千眼菩薩、薬師如来の国宝のみほとけさまがたを拝しながら、お話を聞きました。仏像から滲み出るオーラはさすがのもので、いずれ劣らず素晴らしい仏像でした。

そしてお坊さまがたが学んだという講堂をまわり、最後に普段は上がれない 礼堂に上がることが出来ます。そこは「日供舎利塔」といい、鑑真和尚が持参されたブッタの舎利をおまつりしているとのことでした。由来を聞き近くに拝させていただくことができます。そのお堂でお坊さんに皆の幸いを祈って読経していただきこのツアーの終了です。

この唐招提寺うまし奈良ツアーでは、天平の時代の息吹に触れ、み仏のお慈悲に触れるありがたいひとときを過ごさせていただきました。皆さんも是非体験していただきたいと思います。

The sound of the bells was calming, and the shrine staff provided detailed explanations of the main hall, the gate, the subsidiary shrines, and the restricted areas. Their explanations were fascinating, and I found myself eagerly listening. The scenery I was shown afterward sparked my imagination about the unseen world. When I finally saw the restricted area, the atmosphere was so serene that it felt distinctly different from our world. Despite visiting in the extremely cold weather of February, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have a spiritually uplifting experience. I would love to return in a different season. 石上神宮に初めて参拝させて頂きました。境内には、鶏や烏骨鶏などがいて癒されます。御祈祷もして頂き【石上神宮さまのご配慮で、ホットカーペットの上に座れて頂けましたので、真冬でも大丈夫です☆】、鈴の音に癒されて、神職様に拝殿・楼門・摂末社・禁足地を丁寧にご説明をして頂けます。神職様のご説明も興味深くワクワクして聞き入ってしまいます。説明を受けた後に見せて頂く風景は何とも言えない、見えない世界の想像を掻き立てられます。最後の禁足地を拝見させて頂いた時は、なんといっていいかわからないくらい凛とした空気が流れていて、こちらの世界とは何か違うように感じ取れました。２月のものすごく寒い中の参拝でしたが、心がキレイになれる参拝をさせて頂き心から感謝しております。ぜひ、季節を変えてまた参加させて頂きたいと思っております。ありがとうございました。

The other event, the Ochasori, featured a large tea bowl as I imagined, and it was tricky to drink from, but naturally, the person next to me helped out, creating a pleasant atmosphere that made it enjoyable. Both the ropeway and the cable car could only move through this whiteness. I was looking forward to the Jukkoku Pass, but I couldn't see Mount Fuji, and visibility was so poor that I could barely see a few meters ahead.
