In Okinawa, there are many shops selling Ryukyu glass, but the rock glass I made myself has a special attachment. I opted for the one with bubbles, so it turned out beautifully and I feel a strong affection for it. It can be picked up the next day, so if you plan accordingly, you can also toast in Okinawa, which I hope will be helpful for your trip. I drove out of Naha City in the morning, stopped by Manza Beach, and had lunch at Nakamura Soba nearby, making it a fun experience while enjoying the drive.

I was struggling with my summer homework. At first, we planned to make a unique handmade glass with a message for my parents who are celebrating their 60th birthday, reserving for two people to work together. However, we received support for the sudden addition of a free research project for the children who were having trouble finishing their summer homework, and we even received "The Tiger's Volume of Summer Homework" as a souvenir.

Although the time was supposed to be 1 to 1.5 hours, we had a packed schedule later on, but they were very accommodating and helped us use our time effectively. 自宅でされているようで、お子さんのいらっしゃる家庭のようで、子供達もすんなりと受け入れていただき本当に楽しく世界でひとつだけの自分の考えたデザインのグラスを作ることが出来ました。
思っていたより簡単でした。しっかりと教えていただき出来ていないところもしっかりと教えていただき手直ししてできました。例えばフラミンゴ？ツル？の足が曲がっていたり、アルファベットのaやeやOなど真ん中を残す場合一緒に切り取っていたりしてましたが、しっかりと教えていただき手直ししてから次の工程に入り完成させることが出来ました。

We participated as a couple! Since we love experiencing new activities, we immediately signed up when we saw the listing on this experience site!
The work location might be a bit hard to find at first, but there is a Mitose Ria flag in the residential area!
I imagined it would be more like a workshop when we went, but it turned out to be a regular home, so we got a bit lost... However, the atmosphere was very homey, and we could work comfortably!
There were various types of pair glasses and different ways to create patterns, which made it quite difficult to choose, but it was fun to select!
There were some detailed tasks, but the instructor was kind and guided us well! The sandblasting was easy, and they made sure to check the finishing, so I felt secure while creating! The finished product was truly impressive!
Since we haven't had many dates since getting married, this turned out to be a great date! We both thought, "If only we had known about such fun activities earlier, we could have used it for our wedding!" The working time is about one and a half to two hours. You can concentrate on the work. It seems that you can also create with bottles and mirrors, so we would like to come back for anniversaries and celebrations in the future.
I highly recommend it!

During my trip to Kagoshima with my boyfriend, I wanted to create something memorable, and that's how I found Beltora. I was interested in sandblasting, so I made a reservation. I easily found the location using Google Maps. I initially thought the shop would be more like a factory, but it turned out to be a private home. They had a sign and a banner to make it easy to find, so it was clear right away. The owner was friendly and easy to talk to.

We chose a design from the available options, and I was quite indecisive, but the owner helped by suggesting ideas like flipping the design for couples or engraving initials on the bottom of the glass so they would be visible when drinking. We applied a sticker of the design to the glass and used a design cutter to remove the parts of the sticker that needed to be sandblasted, which was tricky for the finer details. Since the design was lace-like, I struggled with the edges. My boyfriend accidentally peeled off some of the fine details, but we managed to fix it. Most of the time was spent cutting out the stickers. Once we peeled the stickers according to the design, we protected the other areas with tape and used the sandblaster to evenly spray sand and carve the glass. The operation was simple and took less than 10 minutes.

The final product had a small gap where my boyfriend had protected it, so it was slightly uneven, but we were very satisfied with the result. It was his first time using a sandblaster, and he enjoyed it. On our way back, we talked about how we had a great experience together. The finished product turned out cute, and I’m looking forward to using it. It became a wonderful memory from our trip.

今回彼氏との鹿児島旅行で何か形に残る物を作りたいと思い探していた所にベルトラさんに行き着きまた。サンドブラストに興味が有りましたので予約しました。場所もGoogleの道案内で迷わず着けました。お店は工場的な所かと思っていたら個人のお宅でしたが分かりやすいように看板と幟も立ててたのですぐに分かりました。奥さんも気さくな方で話易かったです。デザインはある中から選ぶのですが思っていた多く迷いましたが、奥さんがデザインもカップル用にデザインを反転したりイニシャルをグラスの底に入れたり飲んだ時に上から分かる用に彫るなどの案を提案してくれたりと助かりました。デザインを写したシールをグラスに貼り、サンドブラストで削る部分のシール(切込入)をデザインカッターを使用して剝がすのですが、細かい所のシールを残すが大変でした。デザインがレースみたいな形にしたのでフチの点が苦労しました。彼氏は途中細かい所を剝がし間違えましたが修正して何とかなりました。作業時間はこのシールを切り取る作業にほとんどかかります。シールをデザイン通りに剝がしたらそれ以外の所が削れない様にガムテープで保護してサンドブラスターで砂を満遍なく吹き付けて削ります。操作は簡単で10分もかかりませんでした。出来上がりは彼氏のが少し保護した所がチョット隙間があったみたいで少し削れてましたが大変満足出来る物が出来上がりました。彼氏もサンドブラスターをするのは初めてで楽しんでました。帰りの際にに2人でいい体験が出来たねって話をしました。出来上がりも可愛く仕上がり使うのが楽しみです。旅行のいい思い出になりました。
