I was surprised to find out that the tour was for foreigners after the application had ended, and I participated with a bit of anxiety.

As expected, I was the only Japanese participant (since I was traveling alone) on this tour. It was also my first trip to Kyushu.

However, in the end, it was okay.

The explanations were mostly in Chinese, but the tour guide was kind and explained the important things in Japanese. As long as I knew the meeting time, I was mostly free to explore, so I was able to enjoy myself✌️

Beppu was really great, but I was disappointed that I couldn't take a bath.

I definitely want to try again.

九州旅行も初めてでした。

Hokkaido is vast, making transportation challenging, but this tour was efficient and I was very satisfied. Especially the "Toyohira Gorge Onsen," which is difficult to access, had wonderful water quality! The bathing facilities were also reassuring. I was pleased with the amount of sightseeing time in Otaru as well. I was nervous that the tour might be canceled due to insufficient participants, but I am grateful that it went ahead.

At Jozankei Onsen, we were dropped off without any proper explanation, and I had no choice but to go to a nearby hotel to get a map. While it was understandable that we ended up in a Hiace due to the small number of participants, I thought they should at least provide a guide who understands Japanese. In Otaru, there was no recommendation for shops or any guidance at all; we were just told where to meet and got off at a different location. The good thing about bus tours is that the guides show you famous places and introduce places to eat, allowing you to enjoy sightseeing even in unfamiliar areas. I regret participating in this tour, which is hard to call a bus tour. I believe it is standard to arrive before the meeting time and provide proper explanations, but opinions may vary, so this is just my personal impression.

There were only my daughter and me as Japanese participants. Aside from one family from an English-speaking country, the rest were users from Chinese-speaking regions, but we had more than enough fun.

The guide was trilingual and always followed up with me and another group who didn't understand Chinese in Japanese and English, so I was able to trust the tour completely and feel at ease.

The timing was just right, and I enjoyed the peace of mind that comes with a bus tour. It was very helpful that they shared local specialties and recommendations.

However, when I mistakenly went to Toyohira Valley instead of Jozankei, the driver kindly took me back, and when I dropped my smartphone during my free time and panicked, they waited for me. I had prepared myself for a one-star experience, but it turned out to be just fine. The main language was Chinese, and all the explanations were in that language as well, but I had checked the websites of the places we visited, so it was totally okay not to understand everything. As long as I knew the meeting place and time, it was no different from a Japanese tour.

For this price, I thought the content was definitely worth it. We were taken to various places, which felt like a good deal. Each stop was relaxed, allowing us time to buy souvenirs and take bathroom breaks. I was glad it wasn't a tight schedule.

I chose this tour because it was the only option that would allow me to make it to my flight on time, but to be honest, I was disappointed. There were only five participants, including myself, and although everyone chose the basic Jozankei option, we were first taken to other hot spring areas that were optional. Once we realized that no one had chosen those, we returned to Jozankei, but none of the day-use hot springs were available by 10 AM (within walking distance).

Since there were so few of us, there was only the driver, who seemed completely inexperienced. However, I thought he was doing his best, so I didn't voice any complaints at the time. He looked nervous, likely because it was a job he wasn't used to, and I just wanted him to drive safely.

I can only think that the travel company that organized this tour made unreasonable assignments. I have no intention of participating in any future tours with the same company.

帰りの飛行機の時間に間に合うには、このツアーしか選択肢がなく選んだのですが、はっきり言って残念でした。
参加者は私を含め５人しかいなかったのですが、全員基本の定山渓を選んだにもかかわらず、まずオプションの他の温泉地に連れて行かれました。誰も選択してないことがわかり定山渓まで戻りましたが、日帰り温泉はどこも（徒歩圏）10時では利用できませんでした。
少人数だったので運転手さんしかいなかったのですが、全く慣れていない感じでした。ただ、その方は一生懸命お仕事はされていたと思いますので、その場で苦情は言いませんでした。慣れないお仕事で緊張されているようにも見えましたし、とにかく安全運転して欲しかったので。
このツアーを企画した旅行会社さんが無理なアサインをしたとしか思えません。同じ会社のツアーには今後参加するつもりはありません。

The tour included two Japanese parents, two friends (also Japanese), and one person who speaks Cantonese, along with a group of three friends (Chinese).

The guide explained in Cantonese, but despite the guests wearing masks, the guide spoke loudly without a mask, using an overly aggressive tone, and only spoke Japanese when making negative comments about Japanese people. It was truly the worst tour. The conversation was filled with irrelevant topics and personal opinions; I really wished they would just drive in silence. There was no explanation of the itinerary, and at the end, I was asked to sign in an unclear spot in Cantonese. Even without malice, it was unpleasant.

It was clearly the worst tour, and I do not recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend going in December as it's quite cold when moving around in a swimsuit. For my children in 4th and 6th grade, it felt a bit too childish, and the slides and play equipment might be boring for kids around the first grade level.

The wine bath was disappointing, and the coffee bath and green tea bath were dirty and lacked cleanliness, which was unfortunate.

While there was a good selection of ice cream, coffee milk, and souvenirs, I think once is enough.

水着で移動するとさすがに冷たくて、12月はおすすめしません。小学4と6の子供達には少し子供すぎて、滑り台や遊具も小学一年生前後でないと退屈かもしれません。
ワイン風呂もしょぼくて、コーヒー風呂、緑茶風呂も汚くて清潔感ゼロで残念でした。
アイスやコーヒー牛乳、お土産などは充実していましたが、一回でいいかな。と思います。
