First impressions can greatly influence the mood of the day, and our guide this time was very meticulous. Their attire, language, and demeanor were all perfect. The explanations were concise, and they answered all our questions clearly.

Moreover, in the sweltering heat before the typhoon, they walked briskly without breaking a sweat, which was admirable. Meanwhile, we were all exhausted and sweating profusely.

Regarding transportation, they were accommodating at our desired locations. They efficiently took us around the places we wanted to visit. The interior of the vehicle also reflected their meticulous nature, with an air purifier, acrylic partitions, and perfect cleanliness.

第一印象がその日の気分を左右する事になりますが、今回のガイドさんはとてもきっちりされており、服装、言葉遣い、立ち居振る舞い、全てが完璧でした。説明にも無駄がなく、こちらの質問にも全て明確に回答して頂きました。
おまけに台風前の茹だるような暑さの中、汗ひとつ流さず、さっさ、さっさと歩く姿は尊敬に値しました。私たちは皆バテバテ、汗ダラダラで見苦しい限りでした。
送迎に関しても希望先での対応可。効率よく見学したい所を回って下さいました。車内も几帳面な性格が現れており、空気清浄機、アクリル板設置、清掃も完璧でした。

The tour is as described in the catalog, and first, a guide is stationed outside the reception to assist with the procedures and provide information on boarding positions and meeting times, which is reassuring. At the bus stop, a guide who is not accompanying the tour waits to explain things to the customers. The highlight is that the driver gets off the bus at each sightseeing spot to ensure safe crossing of the road and to guide us.

The next day, male staff members were stationed at the regular bus stops outside of sightseeing areas to provide directions. Even for first-time visitors to Nara, you can enjoy sightseeing sufficiently using the city bus.

ツアーはカタログ通りですが、先ず受付の外にガイドさんを配備して手続きを手伝ったり、乗車位置や集合時間の案内をしてくれますので安心です。バスの乗り場でも添乗しないガイドさんが待機してお客さんに説明してくれます。圧巻は、ドライバーさんが各観光地でバスから降りて、道路の横断の安全確認や誘導をしてくれます。
翌日も、観光外の定期バスの乗場や降り場に男性職員を配備して、行き先の案内をしてくれました。初めての奈良観光でも市内バスで充分観光できます。
恐るべき、奈良交通さんのホスピタリティーと社員教育です。

It is quite difficult to visit five temples in one day using only public transportation, but we were able to efficiently visit them on an air-conditioned bus. The guide was knowledgeable, had a pleasant voice, and provided thorough explanations, occasionally incorporating humor, showing a deep love for Nara. The driver also drove safely and provided courteous service. It was a very satisfying tour.

個人で公共交通利用だけでは、なかなか１日で5寺を廻るのは難しい中、冷房の効いたバスで効率良く廻れました。
ガイドさんは博識で、声も良く丁寧な説明で、時折ユーモアも交え奈良愛に満ちた方でした。ドライバーさんも安全運転、丁寧な接遇でした。大満足のツアーでした。

It was perfect for my first time sightseeing in Nara as it efficiently covered all the highlights. I walked about 17,000 steps during the tour, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

I visited Ishibutai for the first time in 50 years. I was surprised that I could go inside now. In the past, there were just stones in the middle of a field. This time, I explored places related to Prince Shotoku by myself. I was very satisfied to be able to visit Asukadera and Tachibana-dera, which are not easy to access without a car. I wished I had a bit more time at Kitora Tomb. The food was delicious, and above all, the guide was fantastic. I would like to do this again. The driver also paid attention to various things every time we stopped, making it a fun day. I highly recommend it.

石舞台に50年ぶりに行きました。中にも入れるようになっていてびっくり。
昔は畑の中に石があっただけでした。今回聖徳太子関係を一人でまわりました。車もなくなかなか個人では行けない飛鳥寺・橘寺にも行け大満足でした。キトラ古墳はもう少し時間が欲しかったです。食事も美味しかったし、なによりガイドさんは大当たりでした。またお願いします。運転手さんも止まるたびにいろいろ気に掛けてくれて楽しい一日でした。ぜひおすすめします。

We arrived at Nanki-Shirahama Airport by plane, and were picked up at the airport. We were then taken on a taxi tour to the main sites of the Kumano Kodo. They stopped at recommended points for us and waited for us at the end of the paths we walked. My elderly mother was able to explore the Kumano Kodo with peace of mind. Since we visited as a group of four, the cost performance was excellent! I'm glad we could visit the places we hoped to see. The driver was very warm and kind. Thank you very much.

飛行機で南紀白浜空港に到着し、空港までお迎えに来てくれて、そのまま熊野古道の主要なところをタクシーで観光に連れてっていただきました。

Nishinokyo is quite challenging to explore using public transportation due to time constraints. If you're considering renting a car and paying for parking, I definitely recommend this option where you can enjoy guided tours that include admission fees. However, be prepared to do quite a bit of walking. Other than that, the guide provides explanations, so you don't need to prepare in advance, and the optional bento for 1,000 yen is reasonably priced.

西の京は、公共交通機関で回るには時間的にかなり厳しいです。レンタカーを借りて駐車料金も払うぐらいなら、拝観料込みで運転もお任せのこちらの方が絶対にお勧めです。ただし、かなり歩く覚悟が必要です。それ以外は、ガイドさんの説明があるので予習なしでも大丈夫だし、オプションのお弁当1000円も良心的だと思います。

Since I was with my elderly mother, they were attentive to things like getting in and out of the car. To be honest, I only had the image of the Yoshinogari Ruins when it came to Saga Prefecture, but thanks to the driver's explanations and the places we visited, I learned about the great achievements that have been made there, which was an eye-opener for me.

I was a bit nervous since I was alone, but thanks to the polite, kind, and sometimes playful (laughs) rickshaw puller, I had a comfortable and enjoyable time. They were also very attentive to safety and considerate of those around us. I was happy that they took photos for me as well. When traveling alone, it's hard to get pictures of myself. I would love to request their service again if I have the chance.

The driver was calm, and the high vehicle made it easy to get in and out. I was able to fully experience the charm of the volcano, including hot springs, waterfalls, and agricultural products. I also enjoyed listening to the myths.

Nara Park is very large, so I think you would get quite tired if you walked around. We rented a taxi, and the driver provided accurate explanations, allowing us to get around efficiently. We were able to enjoy the morning while sharing some jokes.

奈良公園はすごく広いので、歩いて回っていたら、かなり疲れたのではと思います。タクシー貸切で、運転手さんの説明も的確、効率良く回れました。ジョークも交えながら、楽しく午前中を過ごす事ができました。

Although it was before the regulations were implemented, there were hardly any tourists at the temples and shrines I visited, allowing me to take my time and enjoy them up close. It was an unforgettable trip!

I used this tour to efficiently explore Nara.

Unlike Kyoto, Nara is more spread out, so when considering bus tours or renting a car, choosing this option was definitely the right decision. The tour ran from 10 AM to 5 PM, and the explanations from our knowledgeable guide were fantastic! Additionally, the driver and guide were very helpful with my friend who was feeling unwell.

I look forward to visiting Nara again in a different season.

奈良は、京都と違って場所が離れているため、バス観光か、レンタルで車を利用するかと考えたとき、こちらにして大正解でした。

Both the guide and the driver were very polite. They answered questions properly, and it seems they have studied well. The course included both the well-known temples and some lesser-known ones that you wouldn't typically visit on your own (which were very lovely), and I was satisfied with the choices!

This is a tour that allows you to visit various places in one day. Lunch can be arranged through the bus company for 1,000 yen, but there are not many places to eat nearby, so it's efficient to order it in advance. The talk by the monk at Jiko-in, a place you don't often get to visit, is quite insightful and beneficial. I recommend this tour for those who have limited time in Nara.

一日で色々なところを回れるツアーです、昼食はバス会社に頼むと1000円ですが、周りにはあまり食べられるところが少ないので頼んでおくと時間を効率よく使えます。なかなかいくことのない慈光院での和尚さんの話はなるほどと思うことが多くためになります、奈良で時間のない方にはお勧めのツアーです。

It's been almost since my middle school field trip to Hōryū-ji, so I could say it's almost my first time visiting. It seemed to be less crowded due to the timing, and I was able to enjoy it to my heart's content. Additionally, the bus guide's knowledge was outstanding, and they provided a thorough and attentive tour. Their slow and careful storytelling, along with light jokes and thoughtful consideration, was very much appreciated. I participated for half a day this time, but the experience was so wonderful that it made me want to join a full-day tour next time.

法隆寺は中学校の修学旅行以来なのでほぼ初めてと言ってもいいかもしれません。
時期的に空いていたようで心ゆくまで楽しむことができました。
また、バスガイドの方の知識が素晴らしく、つきっきりでガイドしてくださいました。ゆっくり丁寧で軽いジョークも加えたお話、きめ細かい心配りもとても嬉しかった。今回は半日での参加でしたが次は一日のツアーに参加したいと思わせる素晴らしい内容でした。

When planning my trip, I considered using public transportation from a hotel near JR Nara Station to head towards Ikaruga, but thinking about efficiency, I changed my mind and decided to use a bus tour this time. Generally, I prefer to travel alone and don’t usually use tours, but it was convenient and nice, and I enjoyed it!

The guide was truly wonderful, providing detailed explanations at each stop and keeping the guests entertained with light-hearted stories during the journey. Having such an excellent guide was a unique advantage of the tour.

Although the bus tour covered this route in just one day, which felt quite rushed, I didn’t feel overwhelmed because they made sure to hit all the highlights. The tea time at Jiko-in was a great break.

I would love to repeat this experience in another season.

旅行を計画した時、JR奈良駅近くのホテルから公共交通機関を利用して斑鳩方面に行こうと考えましたが、効率を考えるとバスツアーも悪くないと思い直し、今回の利用となりました。基本的に旅行は一人で行動したくてツアーを利用することは無いのですが、ラクで良いですね、味しめた^_^
ガイドさんがとても素晴らしく、訪問先での詳しい説明だけでなく移動中も軽妙なお話でお客さんを飽きさせません。優秀なガイドさんもツアーならではのメリットでした。
バスツアーでも一日でこのコースを巡るのはかなりの駆け足ですが、見どころをちゃんと押さえて回ってくれたので無理は感じませんでした。
慈光院でのお茶タイムが良い休息となりました。
別の季節にまたリピートしたいです。

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the bus tour with 12 people had plenty of space, which made me feel safe. The guide's thorough explanations were also great. It was unfortunate that the time at the Kitora Tomb was too short; I lost the chance to watch the movie while I was carefully looking at the exhibits. The lunch of persimmon leaf sushi was delicious. Overall, I was satisfied.

I'm glad I decided to take a trip to Nara during the decline of the fifth wave of COVID-19. It felt liberating to travel again after such a long time.

コロナ禍でしたが12名でのバスツアー、十分なスペースがあり、安心でした。ガイドさんの丁寧な説明も良かったです。キトラ古墳での時間が短か過ぎて、丁寧に展示を見ていたら、映画を見る時間が無くなったのは残念でした。昼食の柿の葉寿司も美味。概ね満足しました。
コロナの第5波が収まっている時にと、思い切って奈良の旅に踏み切って良かったです。久しぶりの旅に心が開放されました。

It was a tour with quite a steady rain. The guide explained the three locations thoroughly, which was very helpful. I was also able to request a goshuin book, so I could enjoy sightseeing without wasting any time. When getting on and off the bus, the driver kindly helped with rain gear while holding an umbrella, even though he got wet himself. At the last stop, Wakakusa Mountain, I didn't expect much because of the rain, but I encouraged myself to push through the heavy steps up the slope. And then, what do you know? The entire Nara Basin below was covered in clouds, creating a truly indescribable, fantastical view. It's still etched in my memory. At the end of the tour, I received a reward from the heavens.

ややしっかりした雨のツアーでした。三か所をガイドさんは丁寧に説明してくださいました。よくわかりました。御朱印帳もお願い出来ましたので時間余すこと無く観光出来ました。バスの乗降時には運転さんが自らは濡れながも傘をさして雨具の用意を助けてくださいました。最後の若草山は雨だから期待せず重たい足に頑張れと気合い入れ坂道を上がりました。そしたらどうでしょう。奈良盆地一面眼下は雲に覆われそれはとても言葉には表せなれない幻想的な景色でした。今でも目に焼き付いています。ツアー最後に天からご褒美をいただきました。

I had visited Nara several times, but I never had the chance to extend my trip to Ishibutai. So, this was my first visit in 40 years.

During this tour, I was excited about the Kitora Tomb. I received a message from local residents after seeing the news about the discovery of the Takamatsuzuka Tomb, saying there might be a similar tomb nearby. When I checked, it turned out to be a real tomb! Nara Prefecture is an amazing place. You can play around ancient tombs and historical sites from a young age.

It was amusing to hear from the guide that digging in the fields often uncovers ruins. The most exciting point about the Kitora Tomb is the astronomical chart painted on the ceiling. The oldest existing astronomical chart in the world clearly depicts the Big Dipper, evoking the ancient night sky. Although we don't know whose tomb it is, having an "astronomical chart" in a place to honor the deceased is quite stylish.

As individual sightseeing can be challenging to fit into a single day, I was glad to take advantage of the tour.

奈良旅行は何度か来ていましたが、石舞台まで足を伸ばす機会はありませんでした。なので、40年ぶりの再訪です。
今回のツアーでは、キトラ古墳に興奮しました。
高松塚古墳発見のニュースをみた周辺住民の方から、似たような古墳らしきものがあるという連絡に、確認したら、本当に古墳だったという・・・
奈良県は凄いところですね。小さい頃から古墳や名跡で遊べるのです。
畑を掘ると遺跡が出るというガイドさんのお話も笑えました。
キトラ古墳の１番の興奮ポイントは、天井に描かれた天文図です。
現存ずる世界最古の天文図は北斗七星もはっきり描かれており、古来の夜空が忍ばれました。誰の古墳かはわかっていませんが、死者を弔う場所に「天文図」なんて、粋ですね。
個人の観光では、1日で足を伸ばすのが難しい観光でしたので、ツアーを利用して良かったです。

This is a course that is quite difficult to cover in just one day on your own. Moreover, it includes the admission fee. I visited Jiko-in without knowing about the Sekishu-style tea ceremony, but I was impressed by how not only the tea room but the entire grounds were designed as a tea space and still exist today. Horyu-ji and Yakushi-ji were, of course, wonderful.

個人で巡る観光では、なかなか1日では難しいコースです。しかも、拝観料こみ。
慈光院の石州流茶道のことは知らずに伺いましたが、茶室だけでなく境内全体が茶席として作られ現存している様子に感激しました。
法隆寺、薬師寺はいうまでもなく素晴らしかったです。

I'm glad I was able to visit Hōryū-ji, Chūgū-ji, Yakushi-ji, and Tōshōdaiji, which are quite far apart. I think it's a good deal since the admission fee is included. However, each temple is quite large, so it felt very rushed, and I was really in a hurry. I think if we hadn't stopped at Jikō-in along the way, we would have had more time at Yakushi-ji and Tōshōdaiji.

Due to a past injury, I can't sit in seiza, and at Jikō-in, there was a moment for seiza, but there were no chairs provided. Even though they served matcha, I couldn't stretch my legs, which was a bit of a struggle.

Also, when getting on the bus after visiting each temple, there was no hand sanitizer available. The guide was outside chatting, and there was no disinfectant prepared, which made me feel uneasy. I had watched a documentary last year that investigated a cluster outbreak on a sightseeing bus caused by the handrails at the boarding area, so I made sure not to touch the handrails with my bare hands and sanitized my hands after taking my seat.

距離が離れている法隆寺と中宮寺、薬師寺、唐招提寺を回れて良かったです。
拝観料も含まれているのでお得だと思います。
ただ、一つ一つのお寺の規模が大きいので、かなり慌ただしくて、本当に駆け足状態でした。途中の慈光院に寄らなければ、薬師寺と唐招提寺に余裕がでるのにと思います。
過去のケガで正座はできないので、慈光院では正座の場面があり椅子の用意が無く、お抹茶を出されているのに足を伸ばす訳にもいかず困りました。

また、各寺社の参拝後にバスに乗り込む際に、手の消毒はありませんでした。ガイドは外で立ち話をしていて、消毒薬の用意もなく不安でした。
昨年観光バスのクラスターの原因が昇降口の手摺だったという検証番組をみていたので、手摺は素手で触らないようにして、着席後に自主消毒していました。

The guide's explanations were thorough, very interesting, and engaging. I learned a lot. The driver drove safely, allowing me to ride with peace of mind. I was comforted by the smiles of both the guide and the driver.

Both the guide and the driver were true professionals. The guide provided explanations without wasting any time, making the tour feel very short. I understood everything very well. The driver was exceptionally safe, and with a refreshing smile, greeted us during boarding and alighting, making for a very pleasant journey. I had already made two more reservations, and I was wondering if we would have the same people again. I was looking forward to the journey home as well.

ガイドさんも運転手さんもプロ中のプロの方々でした。ガイドさんは時間を余すこと無く説明していただきツアー時間がとても短く感じました。大変よくわかりました。また運転手さんは安全運転はまことにこの上なく、とても爽やかな笑顔で乗降の際など挨拶をいただきとても快な旅でした。次の予約をすでに2回入れてありましたが、家内と同じ方達になるかな？とか家路も期待は膨らみっぱなしでした。

We are an elderly couple visiting from Yokohama, and our experience with "Nara sightseeing is a thing of the past" was wonderful. We participated in a course that included Hōryū-ji, Chūgū-ji, Jikō-in, and Tōshōdai-ji. The guide was excellent, and the driver was also very courteous.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, we felt safe riding in a bus that has ventilation that changes the air every five minutes. The other passengers were middle-aged and older, and there were no latecomers—truly responsible individuals! All of this contributed to a delightful day.

Towards the end, we also toured the large-scale redevelopment area of the Heijō-kyō ruins by bus, and I have high hopes that "Nara sightseeing will become even more enjoyable in the future!" Thank you very much.

横浜から観光に来た「奈良観光はひと昔前」の老夫婦です。法隆寺、中宮寺、慈光院、、、と唐招提寺までを観て回るコースに参加。ガイドさんも最高、運転手さんも丁寧で最高。

コロナ禍ではありますが、5分間で空気が入れ替わる換気もしているバスで、安心して乗れました。他のお客さんも中高年で、乗り遅れる人も居らず、さすが分別のある方々! これら全てが相まって、お陰様で楽しい一日でした。

終盤には、平城京跡の大規模整備地区もバスで廻ってくれましたが、「将来はますます奈良観光が楽しくなるぞ! 」と、大いに期待が持てます。有難うございました。
