Due to the schedule of my trip, I was looking for a tour in the afternoon, and I was very grateful that they were able to accommodate me with a rental included! The tour guide was very friendly and provided an enjoyable experience. I was able to fully appreciate the nature of Yakushima, and it became a truly wonderful memory to finally see the moss-covered forest that I had longed to visit. On the way back, they also took me to a recommended souvenir shop, which was very helpful!
This time, I had to give up on Taiko Rock, so I would love to go again in spring to see the cherry blossoms, as recommended by the guide! It was a lot of fun, thank you so much!
旅程の都合上、午後からのツアーを探していましたが、こちらでレンタル付きで対応いただけて大変助かりました！
ツアーガイドの方もとても気さくで楽しくガイドくださいました。
屋久島の自然をすごく堪能できて、念願の苔むす森もみることができて本当に素敵な思い出になりました。

We walked through the jungle guided by our tour guide and encountered cute hermit crabs and coconut crabs along the way. When we reached the coast, we observed the starry sky. At first, there were clouds, but gradually they cleared, revealing a sky full of stars✨ It was a truly moving moment. I'm really glad I participated. During the journey, the guides shared stories about the nature of Ishigaki Island and recommended some shops, so I was never bored at all. Thank you to both of our guides!

In early December, I participated in this tour for the first time during my fifth visit to Miyako Island. The weather was clear, and our guide was the dandy bearded man, Gen-chan. On the way to the coast, I listened with great interest to fascinating tidbits about the origin of the Pumpkin Cave and the plants blooming along the path.
We paddled canoes from the coast toward the entrance of the cave, which was also a fun time. The area around the entrance had a very solemn atmosphere, and all participants prayed together before heading into the cave!
This location is one of the three major power spots in Miyako Island. Inside, it was a very mystical space that was truly moving. Gen-chan provided detailed explanations about the cave, and as a Japanese person, I felt a strong sense of responsibility to protect this place.
I heard that it is set to be registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the near future. If that happens, it seems this tour will no longer be held. I highly recommend experiencing this before that happens!
12月前半、今回5回目の宮古島にして初めてこのツアーに参加しました。
天候は快晴、担当のダンディ髭男・ゲンちゃん。海岸までの道中はパンプキン鍾乳洞の由来や道に咲く植物の豆知識を興味深く聞きました。
海岸からカヌーを漕いで鍾乳洞の入口に向かいますがこれも楽しい時間でした。
入口周辺はとても厳かな雰囲気な場所で、参加者全員でお参りをしていざ鍾乳洞へ！
宮古島三大パワースポットの一つであるこの場所。中はとても神秘的な空間で感動的でした。
鍾乳洞のなかでもゲンちゃんより詳しい説明があり、日本人の一人としてこの場所をしっかりと守らなければという気持ちになりました。
近い将来、世界文化遺産に登録が決まっているとのこと。そうなるとこのツアーは開催されなくなるようです。
是非、その前にこの体験をしてみてください。

Since it was my first time going to the Yanbaru area, I was unsure whether to go by rental car or take a bus tour. The bus tour this time included delicious lunch and took us to various places for the entire duration. It might have been a bit hectic, but I was glad to learn about the sightseeing spots in the Yanbaru region. One of the great things about the bus is that I could sleep if I got tired. I also felt at ease not having to worry about driving after drinking the night before! The sea and sky were incredibly soothing! The shikuwasa was delicious too.

I had originally signed up for snorkeling, but due to weather reasons, it was changed to canoeing the day before. I participated with a sense of resignation, but in the end, I had a wonderful first-time experience. On the day of the activity, we had calm, sunny weather and high tide, which were great conditions. There were only four of us, so we had two canoes and were able to leisurely enjoy the mangrove forest. Riding the water buffalo cart on Yubu Island was great, and the island had many interesting sights to see. Our guide also pointed out things like the Ryukyu wild boar and the crested serpent eagle along the way, and shared stories about life on the island, making the travel time very meaningful.
シュノーケル希望で申し込んでいた所、天候理由で前日にカヌーに変更になりました。仕方ないか〜の気持ちで参加したのですが、結果、初めての体験が出来てとても楽しめました。当日は無風の晴天、さらに満潮という好条件で、人数も4人で2艇、ゆっくりとマングローブの森を満喫できました。由布島も水牛車に乗ることももちろん、島内も見どころがあって良かったです。ガイドさんも道中に琉球いのししやカンムリワシなどを見つけて教えてくれたり、島での生活のことを話してくれたりして、移動時間も有意義に過ごせました。

I thought it might be cold with a temperature of around 25°C, but when the sun was out, it felt warm, and while paddling on the SUP, it was actually quite hot! I was able to swim just fine while wearing a wetsuit for snorkeling! The guide was always attentive to our well-being, which made it easy to enjoy ourselves. 🤙 The sea and river weren't crowded at all, so we could move around freely and leisurely. I think coming here in winter could be a great option!

We were given short breaks every 50 minutes. Whenever I felt it was tough, the guide provided us with a break, which helped me reach the summit of Jomon Sugi without any issues. It seems that the guide has great photography skills. I really liked the photos that were shared. The instructors were very kind and taught us well, which was great. Even though it wasn't a very good day weather-wise, our guide was able to find sea turtles and clownfish for us.

We had a great time with a friendly guide and about six participants, which was just the right size for the experience. We were able to see coconut crabs and hermit crabs! Even if you're not comfortable with animals or insects, you can still enjoy it without having to touch them. If you stay on Iriomote Island, I highly recommend the night tour.

The guide, Mr. Tsubone, provided very attentive support from start to finish, which made me feel truly at ease throughout the walk. Since I don't usually exercise, I was worried about whether I could walk over 20 kilometers for more than 10 hours, but the well-timed breaks and pace were extremely helpful.
There were six members in our team, and he called everyone by name, adjusted our walking pace, and even provided warm miso soup for lunch, which kept the atmosphere calm and pleasant throughout the day.
At one point, my knee pain peaked, but he taught me how to use the trekking poles and how to care for my knees afterward, which was reassuring.
He shared stories about the island's history and his childhood experiences on the island, making me feel like I was on a tour of Yakushima as a whole, which was delightful.

6名のチームメンバーでしたが全員をしっかり名前で呼んでくださり、歩幅も調整してくださり、お昼には暖かいおみそ汁もくださって終始穏やかでした。
途中膝の痛みがピークに達しましたが、ストックの使い方から、終わった後の膝のケア方法なども教えてくださり、心強かったです。
島の方で、島の歴史から子供の頃の島の話までしてくださり、屋久島全体のツアーに来ているような感覚になり嬉しかったです。
また色んな方のアドバイスでたくさん食べ物を持っていきましたが、それも良かったです！
水は、湧き水がたくさんあり本当にペットボトル1本で足りてびっくりしました。
湧き水も美味しく、自然の恵みを感じられした。
あと何年縄文杉、ウィルソン株、その他の屋久杉が見られるか分からないので（自然の流れでも、自分の問題でも…）この瞬間に参加して良かったです！

I was a bit anxious about my first clear SUP, but I had an absolutely amazing time. The scenery was beautiful, and I got to meet wonderful people and capture great videos, making it the best memory of Miyako Island. It was a wonderful tour. We gathered at Uehara Port and after about 40 minutes, we arrived at the water buffalo riding area, and then we headed to Yufu Island. There were many water buffaloes. We had just under an hour of free time here, which was enough to explore. After that, we returned to Uehara Port for lunch. Our guide recommended a delicious restaurant. We went into a pork cutlet place and were very satisfied. (Meals are not included.) After that, we went on the main mangrove canoe tour. The guide taught us how to paddle, and we were off to challenge ourselves. Time flew by in no time. Even as a beginner, I was able to paddle easily. Your lower body will get wet before you start paddling, so a change of clothes is necessary. The guide takes photos with the mangroves, so there's no need to bring a smartphone or camera. The guides were all very nice people.
素晴らしいツアーでした。上原港集合で約40分で水牛乗り場へ。そしては由布島へ。水牛が沢山いました。ここで1時間弱の自由時間。十分回れました。そして再び上原港へ。そこでランチ。美味しいお店をガイドさんから紹介されました。豚カツのお店に入り、大満足。(食事は込みではありません。)その後メインのマングローブカヌーツアーへ。ガイドさんから漕ぎ方を教わり、いざチャレンジ。あっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいました。初心者の私でも簡単に漕ぐ事ができました。下半身は漕ぐ前から濡れますので、着替えは必要です。マングローブと一緒にガイドさんが写真を撮ってくれるので、スマートフォンや、カメラ持ち込み不要です。ガイドさんは皆さんとっても良い人達でした。

I participated in December.
I was really looking forward to seeing the coconut crabs, so it was disappointing that I couldn't see the stars, but I had a great time overall. There aren't many opportunities to go on a night tour, and I enjoyed learning about other creatures and plants, as well as the stories from our guide about Ishigaki Island, even during the car rides!
I'll come back for a revenge trip during the new moon in summer! I'm glad I was able to rent rubber boots!

楽しみにしていたヤシガニ、星を見れなかったのは残念だったけど、ナイトツアーになかなか行ける機会がないのと、他の生き物や植物、ガイドさんの石垣島ならお話しなど、車での移動中含めてとても楽しかったです！！
新月の夏にまたリベンジしにきます！

Initially, it was scheduled to start at 19:30, but I received a message that it might clear up around 21:00 due to the clouds, so I decided to wait. During that time, there were actually a few moments when the clouds cleared, and I was able to take some photos. I could feel that they were doing their best to capture good shots despite the clouds, and I'm really glad I chose to come here. Since the moon is bright during this season, the focus was on the moon, but I would like to come back around summer when the focus is on the stars. Thank you very much!
当初19:30スタートの予定でしたが、雲が多いので21:00から晴れるかもしれないとの連絡をいただきせっかくなので待たせたいただきました。
そしたら本当に何回か雲がなくなる瞬間があり、その間に写真を取っていただきました。
雲がある中、あの手この手でなんとかいい写真を撮ろうとしてくれているのが伝わってきてここに頼んでよかったなと思います。
この時期は月が明るいので月メインとのことで、次回来る時は星メインの夏頃にまた来たいと思います。
