The morning course is a great deal with lunch included. The wonderful voice of the male guide, the sound of the sanshin, and the island songs are enjoyable. I wish there had been some sunshine. I was looking forward to the color of the sea at Kabira Bay, but it was cloudy, which was disappointing. The lunch was delicious, and aside from the weather, I was satisfied. I made a mistake with the date, but the staff at Veltra were very helpful, which made me happy. I highly recommend this course; it offers great value.

This was the second tour that my husband and I booked using Veltra. The app is so easy to use. I was sitting in the hotel lobby waiting to go to our train. In less than 20 minutes we found a tour for Kyoto, purchased and confirmed tickets. The quality of tour that Veltra books for is consistent. We like that we can search for tours in English or that have English support. The open top bus company went above and beyond. The weather the day of our tour in Kyoto was weird. The day started with a mix of snow/hail which transitioned to full sun only to be followed by torrential downpour. We decided to go ahead a brave the 1.5 hour tour anyway, justifying that rain is only water and we could very easily dry off or change to dry clothes if we really need to. Veltra provided clear directions on our ticket confirmation for where to find the correct bus terminal. The Open Sky Bus tour guides greeted us at the bus terminal and were very friendly. They gave us ear buds for the English audio for the tour. As we entered the bus we were given rain ponchos, hot green tea, and instant hand warmers. This was amazing service and something that really made the tour. Even though it was cold, the sun came out and it ceased raining. The hot drinks and hand warmers really eased the cold of our January tour. Seat numbers were assigned. Knowing this now, I wish I would've asked the ticket counter if could have the seats in the very front of the bus. We had great views of some amazing sites in Kyoto. We felt like we got a great highlights or best-of tour. The audio had great music between talking bits. The information in the audio provided great history and insight into the city of Kyoto. It gave us some great ideas about which places we wanted to go back and visit. As it was our time in town was limited, so after the tour we actually took a local train down to Fushimi Inari shrine, which is not included in the tour, but a quick two-stop local train ride.

My husband and I took this tour as part of our first full day in Tokyo. We didn't really know what to expect. We are normally brave travelers who use public transit to see metropolitan cities. However, the more I researched more about Tokyo's attractions the more I began to feel overwhelmed. Enter Veltra and the Grand Tour Highlights with English Guide and Lunch Included!!! It was everything we could've hoped for. A great mix of traditional Japanese shrines and temples with a touch of modern tour attractions. The tour guides were so informative and friendly. Our bus driver was skilled and friendly, too. We actually missed our meeting time by 7min (because we exited the wrong exit in the Tokyo train station - we should've given ourselves more time to navigate that train station...read it'll take you 15 minutes - no joke- to go from one end to the other). Even though we missed our scheduled pick-up time, because we had pre-paid they left someone behind to wait for us and take us by cab (we paid $11 for the cab ride) to where the bus was making it's final pick up of people. The lunch that was included was delicious! We felt like we had enough time at each stop to explore on our own and make it back to the bus. Our guides were always very clear about what time and where exactly to find the bus. They counted us each time to make sure we didn't get lost - we felt very safe and well taken care of.

I was so impressed with the booking process on Veltra that I did not hesitate to book a similar tour to this in Kyoto. The instant confirmation and voucher system on the app makes it easy to use on the go!

We took the ferry that departed Ishigaki Port at 10:45 and returned from Taketomi Island at 14:10, but the popular restaurants were crowded, and we didn't have enough time to get in. The roads are sandy and there are many hills, so it can be a bit challenging for those who are not used to riding bicycles. On sunny days, I think it’s a good idea to have sunglasses and a hat.

However, while there is the merit of being able to visit various places, the stay time at each location inevitably becomes shorter, so there were some places I wanted to see more slowly, which was a bit disappointing. I appreciated the shuttle service and that it was okay to participate alone. It was my first time going to the northern part of the main island. From Cape Henna, the northernmost point, I could faintly see Yoronjima. At Oishi Forest Park, it wasn't as crowded as I expected, so I was able to pass through the rock of reincarnation, which is said to allow you to be reborn if you go through it three times, without bothering anyone. Since it was New Year's Day, they served special sweet red bean soup. While I was quietly gazing at the scenery, a swallowtail butterfly fluttered by and landed on my smartphone, which made me very happy. The hotel lunch was luxurious. The aquarium visit was short, so I focused on the whale shark and dolphin show. I bought souvenirs at the candy castle. Since there were many foreign visitors, the bus had an audio guide. I'm sure the foreign guests felt reassured. It was a very fulfilling day. Thank you very much.

I must say this was one of the best way to see complex city like Tokyo. It was far beyond my expectations. The route covered was awesome, buses were excellent. This saves lot of time that one would spend otherwise understanding Tokyo subways, finding way to the station and out of station (this is huge concern if you have kids). The flexibility to get down on designated spot and hopping on was great. Only suggestion I would give is like in case of Roppongi Odaiba course, the gap between hop on and hop off is too large (almost 3 .5 hours). If they can shorten this, it will provide more flexibility to hop off at more places. Thanks for the good times.

It was the last day of my stay in Ishigaki Island. Since my flight was after 7:00 PM, I was able to enjoy a full day, but I had originally planned to go diving. Unfortunately, I didn't know that I couldn't dive within 24 hours of flying, so I had to give that up.

Since I hadn't had the chance to explore Ishigaki Island leisurely, I signed up for this tour. As a solo traveler, I was grateful that lunch was included. I was reminded once again of how beautiful the sea is in Ishigaki Island.

On Taketomi Island, I took a leisurely tour on a water buffalo cart. It made me feel relaxed and reminded me that I was in Okinawa. Although it was a last-minute tour, I was very satisfied.

I thought I had booked the tour with the famous old man, but a woman was in charge. The tour had plenty of time at each location, allowing us to see everything thoroughly. The guide's explanations were clear and interesting, making it a more fulfilling experience than I expected. I wouldn't recommend the lunch as it wasn't very tasty, but everything else was wonderful, so I would love to go again if I get the chance.

It was impressive how he gently and leisurely guided us, even including some words that were hard to understand (I think everyone was able to grasp the meaning from the surrounding context). I was also moved by the intelligence of the island's most handsome (handsome water buffalo) Pīsuke. I didn't use this service when I visited Taketomi Island before, but I'm glad I did this time! I'm very satisfied! ☆

思いがけず、西表島に歩いてでも帰れることを知ったので、牛車には乗らず、干潟を歩いて戻りました。
とてもいい写真が撮れたし、気持ちよかったし、何よりいい経験ができて面白かったです。

In this course, I could see the outline of Tokyo.
But it was really boring.
-It was freezing day, so I had an impression that would have been needed something to make us warm, like hokkairo. I doubt the company can't make an effort to let the customer spend good time.
-Audio explanation had often been interrupted before it finished. Automatic audio system seems difficult to function in this type of the transportation. The company should provide the human guide for us to explain.
-The explanations itself were sometimes trivial matters, not essence of things.

It wasn't worth to pay enough for 3500yen.

However, I thought it might be difficult to cancel, so I decided to go ahead with it. We had a child in a wheelchair, but both the bus driver and the guide were very nice, and I really appreciated their help with folding and lifting the wheelchair and their consideration for the child’s needs! The guide was skilled, incorporating songs and the sanshin, which made for a very enjoyable half-day filled with laughter and jokes. They took us to places we wouldn’t have been able to visit on our own, and we had a great time.

This was my first winter trekking experience, and I was a bit worried, but thanks to the favorable weather and the support of our friendly guide, I was able to enjoy it thoroughly.

Even though it was winter, I found myself getting warm while walking. I recommend wearing layers that are easy to take on and off. Also, since the wind can be strong, having a neck warmer and a secure hat is reassuring.

The trees covered in moss and the giant cedar trees were incredibly captivating and have become unforgettable memories. The spring water was also delicious.

冬のトレッキングは初めてなので少し心配していたのですが、お天気に恵まれ、また優しいガイドさんのサポートのおかげで楽しく終えることができました。

冬とはいえ、歩いていると暑くなってきます。参加する際は脱ぎ着しやすい服装で行くことをお勧めします。
また、風が強いのでネックウォーマーや飛びにくい帽子があると安心です。

苔に覆われた木々や巨大な杉の木はとても魅力的で忘れられない思い出になりました。湧き水も美味しかったです。
