The tour itself was good, but the bus guide would rush ahead without particularly checking on the participants when guiding us to the destination. The explanations about the Okinawa area on the bus felt like she was just reading from a guidebook, and since it was during the COVID period, I thought I would have preferred to just take a nap instead. However, the tour guide at the Valley of Gangala was very good.

I joined thinking it would just be a way to pass the time on the last day of my trip to Okinawa, but each spot was impressive, and it was a very meaningful tour where I could learn about the roots of the Japanese people. The in-car guide, the local guide, and the driver were all very courteous, which left a good impression. On the way back, I was dropped off at Naha Airport, and even though my flight was at 2 PM, the itinerary allowed plenty of time to make it, possibly due to traffic conditions. This is a tour I would like to join again when I come back to Okinawa.

Despite gathering and departing early in the morning, we arrived at the first site, Sefa Utaki, nearly 30 minutes before it opened. Moreover, we were left outside in the cold wind after getting off the bus. I really questioned why we had to gather so early in the morning. By the way, the schedule was to visit Sefa Utaki at 9:00 AM and then the Gangala tour starting at 10:40 AM, so I could only use the Cave Café while waiting for the tour. This tour is perfect for the last day as you can leave your luggage on the bus, making it possible to drop off at the airport. They implemented COVID-19 measures such as alcohol disinfection and seat arrangements every time you board. Previously, I participated in tours to Ontake and Okinawa World, so this time I chose the Valley of Gangala. It was disappointing that we couldn't enter the back of the triangular rock at Ontake, but we were able to take our time exploring. The Valley of Gangala had other tour participants, and we were around 20 people with our guide. They provide insect repellent gel, but I still got bitten, so I think it's better to ask for extra! The highlight was the impressive banyan tree.

I was able to efficiently visit places that are difficult to reach without a car. The morning gathering is early, but as a result, we could see the quiet Sefa Utaki. This was a tour following my participation in the Jomon Sugi tour the day before. The guide was the same person as on the Jomon Sugi tour and adjusted the pace for us, allowing us to reach Taiko Rock without any injuries.

In addition to explanations at each point, the guide took photos for us (also teaching us about angles), making it a tour that offered experiences we wouldn't have had if we had climbed on our own.

Personally, I felt this tour allowed me to connect more with nature than the Jomon Sugi tour, so for those considering other tours, I highly recommend this one!

前日に縄文杉ツアーに参加しての今回のツアーでした。ガイドさんが縄文杉ツアーと同じ担当者さんでペースを調整してくれたので、ケガなく太鼓岩まで登頂できました。
各ポイントでの解説に加えて、随所で写真を撮って下さり(アングル等も教えてくれます)、自分たちだけで登頂するのでは経験できないツアーでした。

Saijō Utaki is reached by walking a slight slope after getting off the bus. The entire process takes about 30 minutes. At the entrance of the Ganjalaru Valley, there is a café where I enjoyed a coffee. I participated in a bus tour and arrived at Seifa Utaki earlier than scheduled. During the waiting time, I was able to stroll around Chita Peninsula Park. The weather was nice, and Kudaka Island looked beautiful.

The guide's explanations and the handmade picture story were great. After visiting Utaki, I bought some sata andagi.

At Okinawa World, the limestone cave was impressively long. But the highlight was the Eisa performance, where five women took turns dancing for 30 minutes. They jumped while playing drums and lifted their legs high; it was amazing. If you check the Eisa schedule and prioritize watching it, you'll have a lot of fun.

There were also coupon discounts, which made it relatively easy to enjoy the less accessible Nanjo.

バスツアー参加、当日予定よりも早くせーふぁ御嶽に着いて、待ち時間、知多岬公園を散策できた。天気も良く久高島が綺麗に見えた。
