We were really lucky, and on the day of the shoot, the weather was fantastic; we could see the Milky Way clearly. Since neither of us was very good at posing, the staff were kind and taught us how to pose. I was truly happy to take photos under such a beautiful starry sky on our honeymoon. It was the most beautiful starry sky I have ever seen in my life. I'm glad I entrusted everything to them; it became a lifelong memory.

This was my second trip to Miyako Island, and this time we decided to try stargazing photography for the first time! I made a reservation for this experience.

The travel date coincided with a full moon, so I was informed in advance that the photos would be taken with moonlight, which helped me visualize what to expect.

On the day of the shoot, I had also made a reservation for dinner, and when I communicated that, they set a meeting time that allowed for plenty of flexibility.

There were some moments of waiting for the clouds to clear, but the shoot went smoothly, and I received about 15 photos, which I am very satisfied with!

At first, it wasn't a starry sky, which was a bit disappointing, but fortunately, it was the day of the supermoon, and the moon was truly beautiful! We were just silhouettes in the photos, but that was nice too. I am very pleased with the final results.

宮古島旅行は2回目ですが、今回初めて星空フォトをしてみよう！ということになり、こちらを予約させて頂きました。
旅行日は満月で、月明かりでの写真撮影になること、その場合こーゆー仕上がりになりますよ。と事前に確認して頂き、イメージがしやすかったです(*^^*)
撮影の当日は夜ご飯の予約もしていた為、その時間も伝えたところ、待ち合わせもゆとりのある時間で設定していただきました。
撮影は雲待ちとかはありましたがスムーズに終わり、写真も15枚程送って下さり、大変満足しています(≧∇≦*)！！

最初は星空ではなかったので、少し残念な気持ちもありましたが、タイミングよくスーパームーンの日だったのもあり、月が本当に綺麗でした！
自分たちはシルエットのみ。という感じでしたが、それもまた良い♪
仕上がりは大変満足しています(^-^)

After seeing a sky full of stars, we entered a mysterious narrow stream. In the darkness, I saw bats flying in front of me, heard the sounds of fish jumping, the rustling of something stepping on fallen leaves, and the hooting of an owl—everything felt eerie and mystical (there's no way I would have gone without Iwamoto). By the time we returned to the mouth of the river, it was completely dark. In that setting, as I dipped the paddle into the water to head back to the starting point, countless glow-in-the-dark insects lit up, which was also very mystical. I’ve done various activities like daytime mangrove kayaking and night jungle tours, but this was the best optional tour. Next time I come, I definitely want to do this with my kids as well!

この道30年のベテラン岩本さんに案内して頂き、カヌーで浦内川河口付近へ。水上から見るサンセットは最高でした。満点の星を見た後は、怪しげな細い流域に入ります。暗闇の中、目の前をコウモリが飛んだと思えば、あちこちで魚が跳ねる音、何かが落ち葉を踏む音、ミミズクの鳴き声、全てが不気味&神秘的です（岩本さん無しで行く気には到底なりません）。河口に戻ってくる頃には完全に暗闇です。そんな中で、スタート地点に戻ろうと水面にパドルを差し込むと、無数の夜行虫が光って、これもまたとても神秘的です。昼間のマングローブカヤック、歩きでのナイトジャングルツアーなど、色々やりましたが、オプショナルツアーとしてはこれが最高でした。次回来たら、今度は子供も入れて必ずやりたいと思います！

Miyako Island has unpredictable weather that often doesn't match the forecast, but we were lucky and it was sunny! At the meeting time, there was heavy rain, and we waited in the car because we hadn't taken photos yet. We waited for just under an hour, but afterwards, we were able to take wonderful pictures. Since these are photos I couldn't have taken myself, I'm glad I asked for them. I definitely want to request this again when I visit Miyako Island next time.

I participated in a factory night view cruise for the first time. It was a great experience to see the factory night views up close, which I usually only viewed from the highway. While listening to the captain's enjoyable commentary, I was able to see the buildings I had always wondered about from the water's surface. The flames occasionally shooting from the chimneys, the beautiful factory night views, and the evening and night scenery of Minato Mirai look completely different when viewed from the sea. Thanks to the captain, I had the best cruise experience! Just thinking about it gets me excited again. First, just being on the ship and feeling the sea breeze was refreshing and moving. The view of the sunset over the land from the sea was beautiful and breathtaking. When the sun set, I was overwhelmed by the size of the industrial area's unique buildings, their lighting, and the intensity of the flames. It's fun to see it with the naked eye, but it's fascinating how a completely different scene appears through the camera lens. Not only was the industrial area enjoyable, but the cruise itself was so entertaining that the fulfilling time flew by, leaving me wanting more. The captain's guidance was truly wonderful. Blue Light Yokohama♪, it was the best! No matter what season you go, you might enjoy a different charm each time, but since it felt good even with the strong sea breeze, I thought it might be nice to go during the hot season.

船長さんのおかげで最高のクルーズを体験できました！思い出すとまた興奮します。まず、船に乗って海風を浴びるだけでも気持ちよくて感動。そして、沖から見る陸の夕景が美しくて感動。日没すると工業地帯の見たことのない建築物とその大きさや、照明、炎の迫力に圧倒されました。肉眼で見るだけでも楽しいのに、カメラのレンズを通すとまたぜんぜん違う光景が見えてくるのが不思議です。工業地帯の楽しさだけでなく、クルーズ自体も楽しませてくれるので飽きることなく、充実した時間はあっという間で名残惜しかったです。船長さんのガイドが本当に素晴らしかったです。ブルーライトヨコハマ♪、サイコー！いつの季節に乗っても、それぞれに違う風情を楽しめるのかもしれませんが、激しい海風に当たっても寒くなくて気持ち良かったので、暑い季節に乗るのがいいかもしれないな、と思いました。

The starry sky coincided with the best supermoon of 2022; although we couldn't see the Milky Way, we were treated to a view of the moonlight sparkling on the water's surface, a sight that could only be seen on this day. 夜の亜熱帯動植物探しと星空見学に行って来ました。もともと自分たちで場所を探して行ってみようかと思っていましたが、ツアーに参加して大正解でした。真っ暗な山道を懐中電灯だけで探検し、亜熱帯動植物を探すのは難しいと思いました。

I wanted my 3-year-old child to experience nature, so we participated in a tour that went late into the night. I was a bit anxious since I brought another child along, but all the staff were very attentive, and my child had a truly valuable experience.

We wanted to see coconut crabs and frogs, but it had been a few days with little rain, which lowered our chances of encountering them. However, the staff worked hard to find them, and we were able to see them safely.

We also saw several habu snakes and witnessed cicadas emerging, which made my child very excited. I truly felt that coming to Ishigaki Island was a wonderful experience. I would love to participate again when my child grows up.

もう一人子供も連れてなので不安な面もありましたが、スタッフさん皆さんが気にかけてくださりとても貴重な体験を子どもが経験できました。
ヤシガニやカエルが見たかったのですが、ここ数日雨も少なく遭遇できる確率も低いとのことでしたがスタッフのみなさんが必死に探してくれて無事に見ることができました。
他にもハブも何匹か見たりセミの羽化が見れたりと子どもも大はしゃぎ。石垣島にきてほんとによかったと思える体験ができました。
子どもが成長したらまた参加したいです。

Thank you for kindly accommodating us despite the same-day reservation. We were able to see many creatures in the forest that we wouldn't have been able to enter on our own. Just beyond the forest, we discovered a quiet sandy beach with no footprints! It was pitch dark, but it felt special, and I'm glad I participated in this tour. We also had plenty of time to enjoy the starry sky, which left us very satisfied.

I wanted to enjoy the night in Miyako Island, but it can be dangerous for just travelers, so I joined a tour! I was able to explore while listening to explanations from someone knowledgeable about insects and plants! I was able to spot about three coconut crabs, so I think there's a high chance of encountering them. The starry sky was also filled with information, as they taught us about the constellations, making the time fly by. The staff were very approachable as well. I participated in a dress, but this time I didn't get bitten by any insects. The walking path was a paved stone path, so sandals were fine.

I have been to Miyako Island several times, and I have always wanted to join a night tour where I could see the starry sky. This time, I made a last-minute reservation while checking the weather.

The day before, I received a polite phone call with information.

However, on the night of the tour, it seemed that communication between the local staff and the office staff was not going well. Initially, I was told there would be five participants, but it ended up being 14, and there weren't enough lights. In the end, I had to participate without a flashlight in the dark, which was a bit disappointing.

I thought the tour content and the local staff were bright and good. There were many families, and it was lively.
