I was recommended by a friend who moved to Ishigaki Island, and my husband and I participated together. I was a bit scared because I'm not good with bugs, but I was able to enjoy it while feeling excited with the guide and everyone else. Watching the guide bravely trying to catch a coconut crab gave me a lot of courage. I kept saying "gross, gross!!!" but then I reflected that I must seem grosser to the bugs. (laughs)
The full moon seen in a place away from the city lights was incredibly beautiful, and looking at the calm sea and the full moon felt like it purified my heart, making it a particularly memorable moment during the trip.
Although we had to drive far from the city, the guide shared many stories about Ishigaki Island and the surrounding islands, so the time flew by. I also became interested in visiting Kuroshima and Iriomote Island. It was great to observe many small creatures that are active at night while listening to the sounds of frogs and birds, allowing me to discover a side of Ishigaki Island that I couldn't experience during the daytime sightseeing. Thank you so much!

私は虫が苦手なので怖いなーと思っていましたが、ガイドさんや参加している皆さんと一緒だとドキドキしながらも楽しめました。
体を張ってヤシガニを捕まえようとしてくれているガイドさんを見てかなり勇気をもらいました。
キモいキモい！！！ばっかり言ってましたが、虫たちからしたら私の方がキモいよなと反省したりしました。笑
そして街の明かりが届かない場所で見る満月はとても綺麗で、穏やかな海と満月を見ていると心が浄化されたような気がして 旅の中でも特に印象に残るひとときになりました。
市街地から離れた場所までの車移動でしたが、ガイドさんが石垣島や離島の話をたくさんしてくれたのであっという間でした。
黒島や西表島にも行ってみたくなりました。
カエルや鳥の鳴き声を聴きながら夜に活動する小さな生き物たちをたくさん観察できて、昼間の観光では味わえない石垣島の一面を知ることができて良かったです。本当にありがとうございました！

The factory lights are filled with a fantastical feeling. Dining while traveling by bus creates a charming atmosphere as the vibrations make the glasses jingle and clink together. The scenery viewed from the bus offers a different perspective, filled with a sense of the extraordinary. Manually opening and closing the roof of the bus adds to the experience. People walking on the road are also overwhelmed by the sight of the bus. It was truly memorable. Restaurant buses are being introduced in cities outside of Tokyo as well, so I would like to try them in other cities too.

The full moon made the night sky too bright to see many stars, but I was able to spot a natural monument insect, and a coconut crab peeked out from behind a rock. The guide's stories along the way conveyed a deep love for Ishigaki Island and the Yaeyama Islands, which made the experience very enjoyable.

I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time and made a reservation to experience this activity.
I participated with my wife and our lively boys aged 4, 6, and 8. I had been interested in the activities for a while, but I wasn't sure about the typhoon situation. However, since the kids were eager to explore and the weather looked good, we decided to join on the same day!
This time, we were lucky to see various things, and our guides, Yuuki and Ryu, were fantastic!
We could see quite a few stars, but since the full moon was approaching, it wasn't at its peak. However, we were able to see a level of stars that we usually don't get to see.
Thank you for the wonderful experience! I hope the two guides stay safe and continue to thrive in their work.

妻と4.6.8歳のヤンチャクソボウズと参加しました。
以前よりアクティビティは気にはなっていたものの、台風の加減が分からなかったので、子供が探検に行きたいとうるさいのと、天気もいい感じだったので当日予約で参加しました！
今回は運もよく色々なものが見れましたし、ガイドのユウキ君もリュウ君のコンビも最高でした！
星もけっこう見えたのですが、満月が近いってのもあり満開とはいきませんでしたが、普段見ることのないレベルでしっかり見れました。

It was completely dark without lights, and I walked along a rugged path filled with limestone-like rocks, sweating. I found a large coconut crab and had experiences I had never encountered before. Since it was almost a full moon, there weren't many stars, but the stories shared by the staff who guided us were enjoyable, and I'm glad I participated.

They have rental boots, so if you're interested, it's best to bring your own socks. Also, since there are pointed grasses, wearing long sleeves and long pants is safer.

I never expected to see flying flying squirrels four times! I participated hoping to see at least once, and the result exceeded my expectations.
On the round trip from the cable car station to the flying squirrel observation point, I encountered various insects, including the light green giant silk moth, stag beetles, stick insects, and horse cicadas. I even came across the rare thorn stick insect.
On the way back, I also heard the calls of the flying squirrels. It was a tour filled with very enjoyable nature experiences. The night view from Yakoin was beautiful as well.
After the experience, they also sent me photos and videos taken with a night vision scope. There were cute stickers and a can badge as gifts, making for great memories.

ムササビが飛ぶところを4回も見ることが出来るとは、思ってませんでした。1回でも見ることが出来ればと思って参加。結果は、期待以上の回数を見ることが出来ました。
ケーブルカーの下車駅からムササビ観察ポイントの往復の道すがらでは、さまざまな昆虫にも出会いました。薄いミドリのオオミズアオ、コクワガタ、ナナフシ、ウマオイ、などなど。珍しいトゲナナフシにも出会いました。
帰り道では、ムササビの鳴き声も聞きました。
とても楽しい自然体験が満載ツアーでした。
薬王院から見た夜景もキレイでした。
体験後、暗視スコープで撮影した写真と動画も送ってくださいました。
かわいいステッカーと缶バッジのプレゼントもあり、いい思い出になりました。

It felt like a university club atmosphere (they were trying to liven things up), but I would have preferred to enjoy nature in a more relaxed setting. Being quiet might increase the chances of encountering the Iriomote cat. I could have enjoyed the sounds of owls and other wild birds more as well. It might depend on the guide.

Even on Miyako Island, I couldn't see it as well from places like hotels, but at the golf course, the sky was filled with stars. I participated after watching a certain TV program. Even though it was a French full course, the salad that was served was not delicious, and although they mentioned it was made using a unique method, I could only think of it as an unappetizing lettuce salad. The meat and dessert were tasty, but if asked whether I would go again just for this meal, I would probably say no. However, it was an experience that I wouldn't have in my daily life.

I felt like I was taken to places I couldn't go on my own. The food on the bus was delicious, and it was nice that the portions weren't too large. We received detailed explanations about the scenery, and with the roof open, there was a sense of freedom. The views from high up on the highway provided many wonderful experiences, and my friend who accompanied me was also grateful. I didn't realize that the meeting point and the drop-off point were different, so I think it would have been better if that had been emphasized a bit more, especially considering the train schedule for the return trip.

I walked through the night in Ingya for about an hour and a bit, and I was able to hear stories about the creatures I encountered along the way. Our guide was Hinata Kimura. She answered the children's questions effortlessly, and I was impressed by her wealth of knowledge. It was fun to talk with her since we are both from Osaka! The trip is full pack of exploration. We saw many animals, including some coconut crabs, different kind of insects. I personally wish there was more time to sit down and appreciate the starry sky.
I was suprised that there were many foreigners join the tour with English explanation along the way, which is very helpful in Japan.
