The day was windy and we had to fight against the wind in the widest place of the mangrove but nothing too difficult. A little bit of rain at some times. All in all you it helped you feel the nature. The guide gave us wonderful explanations on the ecosystem. The experience was great, with a friendly group and guide.
In the afternoon, weather improved and the same guide lead us to the river where we could enjoy a safe canyoning experience for beginners. It was amazing and so much fun.

I had a water buffalo experience on Taketomi Island. It was a small island with few people, and I felt like my mind was really refreshed; it was wonderful. Everyone was kind, which made me happy. The buffalo were super cute and amusing! Since I went in the summer, it was very hot, so staying hydrated is essential! I think it would be good to have something to wipe off sweat as well!

I was healed by the breathtaking views. I want to visit again!

I participated in this tour on my first visit to Iriomote Island.

In the morning, we went out to the sea for snorkeling around Barasu Island and its surrounding points (led by Shōtarō). The beauty of Ishigaki was impressive, but the stunning clarity of the ocean and the colorful corals were breathtaking! We were lucky enough to encounter a shark! I also took many photos underwater, creating the best memories.

In the afternoon, we did SUP in the mangrove river (led by Ren). It was my first time on a SUP, but they taught me carefully, and it was easy and felt great! I got to see and touch rare creatures and plants with knowledgeable explanations, which was really interesting.

The staff were cheerful, and it was an incredibly fun tour! I want to stay on Iriomote Island next time!

午前は海にでてバラス島とその周りのポイントでシュノーケル。(担当:しょうたろうさん)
石垣も綺麗でしたが桁違いの海の綺麗さと色とりどりのサンゴに感動！運良くサメにも遭遇しました！
水中から沢山写真も撮っていただき最高の思い出になりました‍♀️

午後はマングローブの川でSUP。(担当:れんさん)
初めてのSUPでしたが丁寧に教えていただき簡単に乗れて気持ち良かった！
珍しい生き物や植物を知識豊富な説明つきで見たり触ることができてとっても面白かったです‍♀️

スタッフの皆さんが明るく最高に楽しいツアーでした！
次は西表島にも泊まりたいです！

The bus driver's stories on the way to the boarding area for Yubu Island were also a lot of fun, making us laugh on the bus. The stories about the water buffalo on Yubu Island were interesting, and I'm really glad I participated.

I had always longed to go trekking to Jomon Sugi. I had been training for that day, but I was worried about whether I could walk for over 10 hours. The people I was with on the tour were all very nice, and I was concerned about being a burden, but the younger participants reassured me, saying things like, "It's okay," and "We'll take our time taking photos at the back, so don't worry about us." Thanks to their support, I was able to push through to the end.

It was over 10 hours in pouring rain, and I was very tired, but I was able to achieve this thanks to our guide and everyone else. Thank you very much. The tour included transportation to the Arakawa trailhead and lunch, making it hassle-free, so I'm glad I chose this option.

ずっとあこがれていた縄文杉トレッキング。その日のために、練習を積んできました。でも、10時間以上歩くなんてできるのかなと心配しながら臨みました。ツアーでご一緒だった方々はとてもいい方ばかりで、足手まといになってしまうかなと心配しましたが、若い方々も「大丈夫ですよ。」「後ろのほうでのんびり写真撮りながら行くので、気にしないでください」などと言ってくださり、最後まで頑張ることができました。
土砂降りの中の１０時間強で、とても疲れましたが、無事に達成できたのは、ガイドさんはじめ皆さんのおかげです。ありがとうございました。
荒川登山口までの送迎や昼食もついていた手間いらずのツアーだったので、選んでよかったなと思いました。。

This time, I also felt it was great to learn about the true history of Ishigaki Island. The guide was cheerful and likable, and despite having children, they also had a strong desire to improve in their work, which I found wonderful. The water buffalo cart on Taketomi Island was amazing; the water buffalo, Niran-kun, was the best. He was incredibly handsome, and the straw hat-wearing brother who interacted with Niran-kun was also fantastic. I'm glad I participated in the tour. However, I felt that the content was too rich to cover in just one day for me. I think I will rely on Veltra again, so thank you in advance.
