It was good that they came to pick us up at the airport on time.
We went from the airport to the Churaumi Aquarium, and then to Pineapple Park.
We were a group of nine and had requested to take photos at beautiful scenic spots when making the reservation, but in the end, we weren't guided to any.
It was a silent two-hour ride from the airport to the aquarium.
The driver only answered in single words to what we asked.
If it had been a taxi for transportation, there would have been no problem, but since I thought it was a sightseeing taxi, I was a bit disappointed, thinking we would get guidance while enjoying the scenery.
When I booked a similar taxi in Hawaii, there was a lot of guidance, and they recommended places and took many photos for us. Perhaps it was disappointing because I compared it to that experience.
Next time, I would like to request someone who can provide a bit more guidance.

送迎のタクシーであれば、何の問題もないですが、観光タクシーと思っていたので、景色を見ながら案内とかしてもらえるのかなと思っていたのでちょっと残念でした。
ハワイで同じようなタクシーを予約した時は、たくさん案内があって、おすすめの場所を教えてもらったり、写真もいっぱい撮ってもらいました。それと比べてしまったからダメだったんでしょうか。

Our driver was an experienced woman. We were a family of four (two adults in their 50s and two adult children), but the car was not as cramped as I had feared. On the way to Shirakawa-go, we had a great icebreaker with stories about the history of the Maeda family, the origins of the scattered village, and friends from Saitama. Thanks to her reassuring driving, we arrived at our destination in no time.

First, we enjoyed a panoramic view of Shirakawa-go from a high point, and then we headed to the parking lot with the suspension bridge leading to Shirakawa-go. Our driver kindly guided us to the entrance of the bridge, which was a bit hard to find, allowing us to explore comfortably without getting lost.

Unfortunately, the soba restaurant and snack shop she recommended were crowded, so we couldn't get in, but we enjoyed visiting several sightseeing facilities and exploring the area.

From the 10th, the temperature dropped nationwide, and Shirakawa-go unfortunately experienced rainy weather. I heard that Kanazawa, where I arrived by Shinkansen, tends to have a lot of rainy days. This time, I planned a 2-night, 3-day trip with Shirakawa-go on the first day and sightseeing in Kanazawa on the second day. Since the weather seemed bad in advance, I considered changing Shirakawa-go to the second day... However, since the sightseeing in Kanazawa involves more walking, I decided to stick to the original plan and went ahead with it. During the taxi ride, the conversation flowed, and although there was some traffic, thanks to Mr. J, the first day turned out to be enjoyable. The autumn leaves were progressing, and even though it was drizzling, it wasn't bothersome at all. The temperature was optimal, so I imagine it was easier to walk compared to the summer-like weather the day before. It seemed that Shirakawa-go was also somewhat less crowded for this time of year. Because I didn't change my plans, the second day of touring Kanazawa was just right with cloudy and slightly sunny weather, and I was fortunate to have a driver who was skilled at providing sightseeing information, making it a comfortable tour. １０日から全国的に気温が下がり白川郷はあいにくの雨模様でした。新幹線で降り立った金沢は雨の日が比較的多いとのことですね。今回、２泊３日の予定で初日に白川郷,２日目に金沢観光で計画。事前に天候が悪い様なので白川郷を２日目に変更しようかと・・・。でも金沢観光の方が歩く距離が長いので予定通りで決断、決行しました。タクシーの車内では会話が弾み途中渋滞もありましたが、Ｊさんのおかげで楽しい初日となりました。紅葉も進み小雨でしたが全く苦にならず、気温が最適だったので前日の夏日よりは歩きやすかったのではないかと想像します。この時期にしては白川郷も若干空いていたようですし。予定を変更しなかったおかげで２日目の金沢名所巡りも曇りやや晴れで丁度良かったですし、観光案内が上手な運転手にも恵まれ快適なツアーとなりました。ありがとうございました。

We requested a tour of Kanazawa City for our family of four. Despite the unfortunate bad weather, we were kindly picked up by a female driver. We were able to enjoy indoor attractions such as Omicho Market, the Samurai House, the Prefectural Library, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art. From the car, we could also view Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle ruins, and the tea house district without getting wet from the rain.

Additionally, we were guided to a soba restaurant located on Utatsuyama, which we would have never found on our own, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious soba. Our entire family was very satisfied. I believe using a sightseeing taxi is a more efficient and cost-effective way to explore places where you lack local knowledge.

I honestly didn't do enough research on geography and tourist spots before the day, so I roughly communicated that I wanted to visit Yachimun no Sato and the Churaumi Aquarium, and asked for any other recommendations. I hadn't planned a solid route, but on the way back from the main Churaumi Aquarium, I was able to stop by the famous Kouri Island and the Blue Seal Ice Cream shop, and I received help with taking photos, which was really nice.

Additionally, I was given recommendations for local specialties, souvenirs, and delicious izakayas near the hotel, and everything was spot on.
