The weather was my biggest concern, but it was nice from departure to arrival, and the scenery was very beautiful. The lunch was also luxurious and delicious. It was a girls' outing with three elderly ladies (laughs), but we had quite a bit of free time and it wasn't too busy, which was nice. We decided to take a ride on the trolley to go down the Hozu River, and while researching, we found a set deal with unlimited rides on Hankyu. Since Arashiyama was too crowded, we took the Hankyu to a place near Kawaramachi for lunch. As a result, we were able to eat in a more relaxed atmosphere, which was great. The view from the trolley was also satisfying, even though the weather was unfortunate. I deducted one star because the QR code didn't scan properly. There were times when it was difficult to connect, which was quite a hassle.

Even though it was drizzling a bit right before departure, as soon as the bus started moving, the weather cleared up, and I was able to enjoy the wonderful scenery of Lake Shikotsu, Lake Toya, and the ropeway at Mount Usu, all mixed with autumn leaves. I'm glad I was able to efficiently visit the attractions. I was able to relax at a foot bath along the way. There were many inbound tourists, and the guide seemed to have a tough time explaining in three languages: Japanese, English, and Chinese, but I appreciated their effort. The explanations in English were particularly easy to understand. The arrival time was almost as scheduled. Thank you very much.

All the drop-off points were great. I especially liked Cape Chikyu and the Silo Observatory. The guide from Taiwan was excellent. On the day I participated, the water level wasn't very high, so it was a calm boat trip while enjoying the scenery.

There were moments when the river narrowed or had significant drops, but that was also quite pleasant. For those seeking thrills, I think rafting would be a better option.

There were three boatmen who took turns rowing, as it is physically demanding work. It was very impressive to see them earnestly guiding the guests in English, especially since most of the customers were foreigners. Their efforts to entertain the guests, often with laughter, were evident.

Along the way, you can see rare wild birds and a trolley train, and you can leisurely enjoy the picturesque mountains and rivers that resemble Japan's original landscapes. However, I wouldn't recommend participating in the height of summer or winter (I heard that a roof is put up in the summer). Depending on the travel time, some people might get a bit bored, and I experienced a little seasickness.

I recommend this for those who love vehicles or want to experience something out of the ordinary. If you decide to participate, I think it's best to bring minimal luggage.
