In a word, it was "Why didn't I come here sooner?" It was that much fun.

The instruction was very polite and easy to understand, and it was tailored to my level, allowing me to have an enjoyable experience.

I got to ride Monica (and a little bit of Caramel since we had extra time), and both of them were wonderful, honest, and cute. I was really happy when they listened to me.

When I come to Hokkaido again, I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

Even if you participate alone, you can have a great time, so I recommend it for solo travelers! You can enjoy the cowboy feeling with a hat and boots!

We started at 6 AM. The weather was typical for the Kushiro Wetlands, with some clouds and a bit of morning mist. We set off in a larger canoe for four people, along with our guide. The canoe tour lasted about two hours, and we enjoyed the wetlands without encountering any other canoes.

We were fortunate to encounter a herd of Ezo deer twice, and the guide brought the canoe within just a few meters of them. The guide, who has over 20 years of experience, conducted the tour without any other participants, and his extensive knowledge made the experience truly enjoyable.

当日は、雲りで少し朝霧も出ている釧路湿原らしい天候。
4人乗りの大きめのカヌーに我々夫婦とガイドの三名で出発。
約二時間のカヌーツアーでしたが、他のカヌーとは出会わず、我々だけで湿原カヌーツアーを楽しめました。

待望の蝦夷シカの群れにも二度ほど遭遇し、ほんの数メートルの距離までカヌーを寄せてくれました。
基本的に相乗りなしでツアー実施しているこの道20年以上のガイドさんで知識も豊かで満喫できました。

I went kayaking for the first time. The weather was great that day, with clear skies, and the lake was so transparent that I could see all the way to the bottom. I had never seen such a clear and beautiful lake before, and it was a wonderful memory as I was able to feel the nature around me.

We participated in a 2-hour canoe tour in the Kushiro Wetlands. I joined with my mother, who is over 80 years old, and she was very happy. I was a bit worried because some other tours had an age limit of 80, but this one had chairs with backrests and we didn't have to paddle, so we could participate with peace of mind. We also saw a lot of animals, so we were very satisfied!

Along the way, we were fortunate to see a flying black woodpecker, which was truly a wonderful experience! The day before, I was worried about the closure of Shiretoko Five Lakes due to the appearance of brown bears, but on the day of the tour, I felt the guide's high level of crisis management skills, which allowed me to participate with peace of mind. The nature tour offers free rental of rubber boots regardless of the weather. Since there was a possibility of ticks and many sharp branches, the rental of boots was very helpful. At the beginning of June, I participated in the afternoon course. Since it was a weekday, there were few other people canoeing, allowing for a relaxed experience. Even without the early morning course, I encountered many animals and was very satisfied with canoeing under the clear blue sky. I felt like I was "hogging the breathtaking views!" and kept taking photos. During my first trip to Hokkaido, I was unsure which area to choose, but knowing that I could canoe in Kushiro, I made the perfect choice. The lucky sighting of a fluffy little fox was incredibly cute!

6月頭、お昼からのコースで参加しました。
平日だった事もあり他にカヌーをされている方も少なく、ゆったりと体験する事が出来ました。
早朝コースでなくとも沢山の動物に出会え、快晴の中のカヌーに大満足です。
「絶景を独り占め！」と言う感じでひたすら写真を撮っていました。
初めての北海道旅行でどのエリアにしようかなと悩む中、釧路でカヌーが出来ると知り釧路を選択して大正解。
運よく見る事が出来たコギツネがふわふわでとても可愛かったです！

I signed up for this experience with my daughter for the first time. I thought we would fly right away since the paraglider has a motor propeller. However, it turns out that due to bad conditions such as the weather, wind direction, and strength, we couldn't fly if the winds were not favorable. When it was my daughter's turn, the winds were gentle, and she went up high. That alone made me so happy! When it was my turn, the wind had picked up, changing direction, and I was running in the opposite direction. I managed to get up once, but since the wind was turbulent, I was told to try again after 30 minutes. I thought that was enough, but they provided guidance on changing the paraglider size and running style, and I went up higher and higher! My mouth got dry from the excitement (laughs).

娘と初めての体験で申し込みいたしました。パラグライダーが飛ぶのにモーターのプロペラが有るのですぐ飛ぶと思っていました。ところが、天候はもちろん、風向き・強さ・風向きも一方だけでなく混流するという悪条件であると飛べないそうです。娘の時は、穏やかな風で高く上がっていきました。それだけで嬉しかったですね～。私の時は風が強くなってきて、逆方向に風向きになり、走行する方向も逆で、一度上がりましたが上で風向きが混流しているので３０分してからもう一度あがりろう！と言われてました。十分ですと思ったのですが、パラグライダーのサイズ交換したり、走るスタイルを変えたりの指導してくださり、高く、高く上がりました！口がカラカラになりました（笑）
モーターのプロペラは５０Kｇほど有るらしく、とても重そうでした。それを毎回、ヨイショッと担いで私たち素人を前に乗せて、大変な重力と神経使われてると思います。私たちに楽しい世界を見せていただける機会を作ってくださり、感謝します。ありがとうございました。

I visited in early March!
The weather was great, and a breathtaking view spread out before me.
The tent sauna allows for temperature adjustments based on the löyly, so both beginners and advanced sauna enthusiasts can enjoy it!
Instead of a cold bath, Lake Shikotsu had a water temperature of about 2°C, making even a half-body soak last only a few seconds… haha.
Additionally, taking an outdoor bath in such vast nature was an unprecedented experience!
The staff were very kind, and I enjoyed chatting with them!
This time it was too cold to do much snorkeling, but I heard that in summer you can swim with fish, so I would love to visit again.

3月上旬に訪問しました！
天候にも恵まれ、目の前には絶景が広がっていました。
テントサウナはロウリュウ次第で自由に温度調節してもらうことが出来るので、サウナ初心者の方も上級者の方も楽しめます！
水風呂の代わりに支笏湖は、水温が2℃くらいで半身浴でも十数秒が限界でした…笑
さらに、広大な自然の中で行う外気浴はこれまでにない経験でした！
スタッフの方もとても親切で、お話ししていて楽しかったです！
今回は寒すぎて、シュノーケリングはあまり出来ませんでしたが、夏は魚と泳ぐこともできるそうなので、また訪れたいです。

I participated with a friend who had no prior horseback riding experience. The horse was gentle, and it seemed my friend enjoyed it, which was great. There is also a way to get to the bus stop "Toyotaki" using the subway "Makomanai." The date may not have been ideal, but on the way back, the bus to "Sapporo" was packed, and the roads were congested, so we had to stand for over an hour, which was very tiring. When I asked a local, they said that the bus to "Makomanai" doesn't get too crowded. I really regretted not doing more research myself. I hope this information is helpful for those using public transportation.

大人しいお馬さんで、初めての友人は楽しめたようで良かったです。
バス停「豊滝」へは地下鉄「真駒内」を利用する方法もあるようです。
日にちも悪かったのでしょうが、帰り「札幌」行きのバスはぎゅうぎゅう詰めの上、道も混んでいて１時間以上ずっと立ちっぱなしでとても疲れました。
地元の方に聞いたところ「真駒内」行のバスはあまり混まないそうです。
もっと自分で調べておけば良かったととても後悔しました。
公共交通機関を利用される方の参考になれば、と思います。

While we were moving towards Shiretoko Goko, our guide spotted a bear fishing in the river from a very far distance.

Even in the forest, we listened to the sounds of birds, including the calls of woodpeckers, and saw fox and bear droppings and footprints. We learned about the formation of the five lakes and stories from when people lived there, making for a fulfilling tracking experience.

It seems we spent too much time along the way and couldn't reach the last plan, but I was very satisfied. It was the best time.

I now want to visit Shiretoko in mid-winter as well. When I come to Shiretoko next time, I would like to request your services again. Thank you!

I was able to make a day trip from Tokyo. It took 40 minutes by rental car from New Chitose Airport. The weather was perfect, and Lake Shikotsu was truly beautiful. The water was very clear, and you could see underwater from the clear kayak. It was lovely to see the water change from emerald to deep blue.

When the mountains are covered in autumn leaves, it has a different kind of beauty, and at night, the starry sky is magnificent, as our guide Ryo told us. On the way back, we stopped at Marukoma Onsen and felt refreshed. I want to come back again!

Ultimately, it was not only safe, but we were also able to visit places we wouldn't have been able to go to by ourselves, and we learned many things that we wouldn't have noticed if we had just wandered around. It was a very meaningful experience.

Additionally, the guide was extremely courteous. We received a notification the day before that the ground walking paths might be closed due to strong winds, but on the day of the tour, it was somehow able to proceed, and there were only the two of us participating. In the morning, we explored the Five Lakes, and in the afternoon, we toured the primeval forest of Shiretoko, learning about its history and future aspirations, which was a very luxurious time.

The ground walking path at the Five Lakes was almost like a private tour, allowing us to learn more than usual. There was a radio call about a sighting of a brown bear, and entry was prohibited from that point until the afternoon, but we were lucky enough to complete our tour.

In the primeval forest, we asked various questions about the vegetation and animals. Due to the strong winds, we couldn't see any animals, but it was fascinating to learn about their traces. Also, the strong winds brought sea foam flying in like snow, which was beautiful in its own way.

最初は知床に不慣れな自分たちだけで立ち入らないほうが良いだろう、という考えからツアーを申し込みました。結果的には安全はもちろん、自分たちだけではいけなかった場所に行けたり、いろいろ教えて頂いて単純に回っていたら気づかなかったことに気づけたり、非常に有意義な体験でした。
また、ガイドの方の対応も非常に丁寧でした。
前日に強風の影響で地上遊歩道の閉鎖が懸念されるという連絡を頂きましたが、当日は何とか開催でき、参加者は私たち夫妻だけ。午前は五湖、午後は知床の原生林を回り、歴史や将来目指す姿などいろいろ教えて頂き、非常に贅沢な時間でした。
五湖の地上遊歩道はほぼ貸し切りのような状態で回ることができ、通常よりいろいろ教えて頂けたかと思います。ヒグマが目撃されたという無線が入って途中から午後まで入場禁止になりましたが、私たちは運よく回り切れました。
原生林は植生についてや動物についていろいろ伺いました。強風は条件が悪いということで動物自体を見ることはできませんでしたが、痕跡を教えて頂いたり興味深かったです。また、強風で海から波の花が雪のように飛んできて、これはこれできれいでした。
今度は条件の良いタイミングでリベンジしたいと思います。

I was wondering how the start would go since we couldn't begin the reception until the scheduled time. Also, I was quite concerned about the water clarity due to the heavy rain the day before. However, once we started, I forgot all about that and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the pleasant experience!
