Seeing the drifting ice and ice falls for the first time was truly moving. It felt like a dream to be able to ride on the drifting ice. The guide was absolutely wonderful. During the trekking, they compacted the snow to ensure our safety and constantly checked in with us. They also shared very easy-to-understand information about the flora and fauna of Hokkaido and the drifting ice. Along the way, the soup they prepared was incredibly delicious! It was a cozy little tent, and I was able to enjoy ice fishing for wakasagi without feeling cold. I was taught some tips for catching them at first, and I followed those instructions, but I was also lucky and caught quite a few. The wakasagi we caught were made into tempura, which was crispy and delicious.

Additionally, I was picked up and dropped off at the hotel, so even though there was quite a bit of snow piled up, it was very convenient to participate.

I used the facility on a weekday before noon. There were few customers, so I was able to enjoy all the activities without waiting in line. The weather had been warm for several days, and after some rain, there was a bit less snow, but I was still able to fully enjoy playing in the snow. The rafting, similar to a banana boat on water, was more exciting than I expected and really fun. The staff were all very friendly and kind, which made for a pleasant experience.

The only downside was at New Chitose Airport, where there were many other buses lined up near the bus stop (around number 30), and the shuttle bus I needed came in last. I was waiting before the departure time, but I didn't notice it passing right in front of me and ended up missing it. In the end, I had to take a taxi, so I would have really appreciated it if someone could have checked for any customers who were not on the bus.

結局タクシーで向かうことになったので、お客さんがいないか確認していただければ本当にありがたかったです。

It was helpful that there is a free shuttle bus from the airport and JR Chitose Station, so I could get there without a rental car. This time, we used it for a family trip with our elementary and middle school children. We came to enjoy the snow festival, but perhaps because it's a bit far from Sapporo city, there wasn't much crowding. It's also a short distance from the airport, as we arrived by taxi in less than 20 minutes.

We visited at the end of January with our family (with children in 5th and 3rd grade). We borrowed gear for the kids, changed in the locker room, and after leaving our luggage at the front desk, we were ready for some snow fun!

Since we live in an area where it doesn't snow much, the kids were thrilled! After playing on the snow tubes for a while, we moved on to snow rafting. It was much faster than we imagined, and bouncing around on the curves was quite entertaining! With the falling snow and the snow flying around, we were covered in white from head to toe! The wind was extremely cold, but the excitement outweighed the chill.

We also enjoyed the snow play area and cross-country skiing. In the snow play area, there were various molds to make snowmen, chicks, dinosaurs, hearts, and more, which had the adults getting into the fun as well.

In addition to the fun activities, the staff at every corner were incredibly kind and friendly, which was a nice touch. At the snow tubing, they not only showed us how to slide normally but also taught us fun ways to slide, like on our stomachs, backward, and while holding hands, allowing us to play dozens of times.

There were noticeable foreign guests arriving by large buses, but since we visited on a weekday, it wasn't too crowded, and we were able to enjoy ourselves.

It's close to the airport, and with rental gear available, we can go hands-free, so I would love to stop by again the next time we use New Chitose Airport!

スノーチューブでしばらく遊んだあとはスノーラフティングへ。
乗ってみると想像以上にスピード感があり、カーブでバウンドしたりしてなかなか面白い！

風がめちゃくちゃ寒かったですが、寒さを上回る興奮です。

他にも、雪遊びコーナーや歩くスキーなどを楽しませて頂きました。
雪遊びコーナーでは雪で作れるスノーマン、ひよこ、恐竜、ハートなどいろいろな型が置いてあり、大人も夢中になって遊んでしまいました。

遊びが楽しかったことのほか、どのコーナーもスタッフの方が非常に親切で、気さくに話しかけてくださったのも良かったです。
スノーチューブでは普通にすべるだけでなく、うつぶせ、後ろ向き、手つなぎなど楽しい滑り方を教えて頂いて、何十回も遊んでいました。

大型バスで来られてる外国からのお客様が目立ちましたが、訪問したのが平日だったのでさほど混雑は感じずに遊ぶことができました。

空港から近く、レンタル品もあって手ぶらで行けるので、また新千歳空港を利用するときは立ち寄りたいと思います！

I visited North Snow Land for the first time with my daughter. I participated in the special plan plus banana boat tour. To put it simply, the special plan was absolutely amazing! We could experience everything without limits, and even with some waiting, it was only about 5 minutes, so both my daughter and I felt no stress. The overall area is not too large, which is also nice. My daughter’s endless "I’m going now!!" was reassuring since it was within a distance where I could keep an eye on her, even if I got tired. The snow rafting was quite intense and a lot of fun! We had a great time playing and were very satisfied. It’s a place I would want to experience again when I visit Hokkaido.

In the morning, a brown bear appeared at Shiretoko Five Lakes, so we quickly changed our plans and went trekking in the primeval forest in the afternoon. I was a little nervous since it was my first trekking experience, but I walked along a pathless route in the great outdoors, experiencing an extraordinary space like never before! Along the way, a chipmunk appeared looking for acorns, and it was so cute. I was also able to see bear claw marks and footprints. We successfully completed the tour of Shiretoko Five Lakes in the afternoon, and I enjoyed the entire day! I was able to hear a lot from our guide, and it was really fun!

前日が雨であった為、少し不安でしたが朝から快晴であった為無事に参加する事ができました。
朝に知床五湖にヒグマが出没した為、急遽午後に予定していた原生林のトレッキングを行いました。
初めてのトレッキングで少し不安でしたが、今まで体験した事のないような大自然の道なき道を歩いていき非日常の空間を体験できました！
途中でシマリスがどんぐりを探しに現れてとても可愛かったです。
熊の爪痕や足跡なども見る事ができました。
午後に変更になった知床五湖も無事に最後まで回ることができ、1日満喫できました！！ガイドさんのお話もたくさん聞く事ができ、すごく楽しかったです！
