Meet at Esperanto

Put your belongings (except your wallet, phone and other valuables) in the locker. Get changed into the under kimono first.

Discuss with the staff and select a cute kimono of your choice.

The staff will apply a make-up suited for you. If you have any requests, please let them know.

Select a hair style of your choice. There are many full wigs available to match with the kimono you selected.

Have the staff assist you as you wear your retro-style kimono. You will be able to select an obi sash of your choice.

Find cute charms, hair pins and other accessories made by the staff to add to your kimono.

Step into the studio where a professional photographer will be taking your pictures. Even if you are unsure of how to pose, the cameraman will help you look like a model. Bring in additional props for a different image.

There will be an area to remove your make-up and touch up your face. Basic make-up, hair dryer, and an iron will be available to use.

Pick out the photos of your choice out of the ones you took, and you will receive them on the same day!

- People 15 years old and above can participate in this activity.

- Printed photos will be put in a special album by Esperanto and given to you. Photos will be edited and mailed to you within a month after your experience. For those visiting from overseas, you will be able to receive your photos on the day of your activity.
- You will not be needing prior reservations for more photos, CD-R with all your photos, A5 hard card photo book and other options. Feel free to ask the staff on the day of your tour.
- Please understand that, for women to feel comfortable during their photo shoot, the staff will ask for gentlemen who are not taking part in the photo shoot to wait in the waiting area.
- All outfits are standard Japanese medium to large sizes.
People who own their own kimono outfit are welcome to bring it as well with prior notice. Please inquire in advance. - Please do not take photos with your own camera or smart phone inside the studio. There is a separate photo area for you to take selfies and other photos on your own device.
