About 700 cherry trees are planted here. The Gion weeping cherry trees, gorgeously illuminated, are truly spectacular.
Kodaiji Temple (40 minutes)
Please enjoy the weeping cherry trees illuminated in a fantastical light, as well as the teahouse, garden, shrine, and Garyuro corridor bathed in a gentle light.
Toji Temple (45 minutes)
The Fuji cherry tree, photographed against the backdrop of the five-storied pagoda of Toji Temple, is stunning! In the Golden Hall and Lecture Hall, the gentle faces of the Buddha statues emerge.

If you exit from the Central Exit of JR Kyoto Station, it will be on your left hand side (or on your right hand side if you exit from the Shinkansen Central Exit). The bus stop is located in front of the Isetan Department Store. If you are coming by subway, please use Exit 6 at Kyoto Station.
