The earphone guide supports six languages. You can study and review in the vehicle beforehand. The lunch at the cozy cafeteria was delicious, especially the sashimi set meal. We arrived at the cafeteria at 11:05, and it seemed to open at 11:00, as there were general customers waiting in line. By before noon, it was almost full. We had plenty of time for lunch, allowing us to relax in a hammock and go down to the beach to enjoy the blue sea.

At Daichi Forest Park, it was great that we could choose our own walking course since it was a free exploration. Sixty minutes wasn't enough for a leisurely stroll, so I would have preferred 90 minutes. The service of the shikuwasa juice after the walk was delicious. We also learned about the ecology of the Okinawa rail (we had one in captivity, and although it was at the back, I was able to observe a real one for the first time). On the way back, there was traffic congestion due to an accident on the highway and in Naha city (let's avoid flying on the day of the tour). It was a fulfilling tour with plenty of activities. There were eight participants, and we rented a large bus, with six of them being solo travelers.

イヤホンガイドが6か国語対応。車内で事前学習と復習ができる。昼食もこじんまりとした食堂でお刺身定食が美味しかった。食堂には11:05に到着。11時オープンのようで一般のお客さんは並んでいた。12時前にはほぼ満車。昼食時間は充分に取って頂きハンモックしたり海岸へ降りて青い海を眺めたりできた。
大石林山は自由散策の為、散策コースは各自で決められたのがよかった。60分ではゆっくり散策は出来なかったので90分は欲しかった。散策後のシークァーサージュースのサービスは美味しく頂いた。やんばるくいなの生態についても学習できた。（やんばるくいなは１匹飼育。奥の方にいたが初めて本物を観察できた）帰りは高速の事故渋滞や那覇市内の混雑もあったが（ツアーに参加した日の飛行機とうじょうはやめましょう）盛り沢山の満足なツアーだった。8名参加で大型バス貸し借り。内6名がお一人様人参加だった。

The best part was seeing the coastline stretching out to the horizon from the bus window. I was glad to have encountered such a beautiful sea and to have been able to take a stroll.

一番はバスの窓から水平線がずーっと見えた海岸線がとても良かったです。綺麗な海に会えたこと、散策出来たこと。

Although we were worried about the rain forecast, we were able to enjoy our first experience in Yanbaru with beautiful weather, as the sun peeked through the clouds during our visit to the seaside restaurant, Cape Hedo, and trekking at the Oishi Forest. The journey was comfortable in a large bus, and the earphone guide was helpful. The little gifts we received along the way made for a nice tea time, and the shikuwasa juice after trekking was delicious. I thought both the itinerary and the lunch were very good.

There were some minor troubles along the way, and we returned about an hour later than scheduled due to traffic. Some people left the group early because they were worried about missing their flights, but you never know what might happen on a long drive, and traffic jams in Naha are well-known, so delays are to be expected. To avoid any unpleasant experiences, especially on a full-day bus tour, I recommend not scheduling anything immediately after and booking your itinerary for the middle of your trip. That's what I do. I felt sorry for the tour guide, who was always polite and attentive.

雨予報のなか心配しながらの出発でしたが、海辺のレストラン、辺戸岬、大石林山のトレッキングと、雲間から日も指すようなお天気で、存分に初めてのやんばるを楽しめました♪︎大きなバスでゆったり、の道中。車中でのイヤホンガイドも役立ちましたし、あちこちでのプチギフトは、ティータイムのお供になり、トレッキングのあとのシークアーサージュースもとても美味しくいただきました。行程もランチの内容もとても良かったと思います。
途中ちょっとしたトラブル、そして渋滞もあり帰りは予定より一時間弱遅れての帰着となりました。フライトに遅れると言う理由で途中離団されたかたがいらっしゃいましたが、ロングドライブでは何が起きるかわかりませんし、那覇市内の交通渋滞は周知の事実で、遅延は想定内です。みんなが不愉快な思いをしないよう、終日バスツアーは特に、後ろに予定をいれず、旅程の中日に予約をとられることをおすすめします。私はそうしています。終始丁寧に対応されていた添乗員さんがお気の毒でした。

Although it rained at the tourist site, the rain stopped at Daishi Forest Park, allowing us to enjoy our visit. After leaving Daishi Forest Park, it started to rain again, but since we were sightseeing indoors, it was a relief. I didn't pay much attention to the time, so I thought I could have taken it a bit slower. Next time, I would like to visit the courses I didn't go to. I would love to participate again. Since I don't have a driver's license, it was a very valuable experience.

大石林山を後にすると、また、雨が降ってきましたが、建物の中での観光だったので助かりました、時間配分を気にしてなかったので、もう少しユックリ回れば良かったかなと思いました、次回は、行かなかったコースにも行きたいと思いました、また、参加したいです

We traveled by shuttle car from the hotel, wearing the boots, life jackets, and waterproof bags that were provided. First, we enjoyed canoeing through the mangroves. The air felt so refreshing. We paddled along while observing the Minami Tobihaze and schools of fish.

After getting off the canoe, we greeted the Sakishima Suo tree and set off trekking towards the waterfall. As we made our way through the jungle-like forest, we encountered various creatures such as the tree-climbing lizard and the Kishinoue lizard.

After walking for several minutes, we reached the top of the waterfall, which offered a breathtaking view. There were no fences, so we could see the waterfall up close. The homemade Yaeyama soba by our guide, Mr. Ishitaka, was delicious with a rich broth. Having lunch while enjoying the scenery was a fantastic experience.

After that, we headed to the waterfall basin. Taking a dip in the water after sweating from the trek felt wonderful. The Pinai Sara Falls is said to have the largest drop in Okinawa, and seeing it up close was impressive.

The homemade cake for a snack was made by the wife of a former baker and was very tasty. Please note that there are no toilets during the tour, so we had to use portable toilets. It was my first experience, but it wasn't difficult. The portable toilet near the waterfall basin has a waterfall view, which I highly recommend!

Mr. Ishitaka shared many stories with us, making it a fulfilling day where we could truly feel the diverse nature of Iriomote Island! We also got to take many wonderful photos. (The posted photos include some taken by him.)

ホテルから送迎の車で移動し、貸していただいたブーツ、ライフジャケット、防水バッグを身につけ、まずはカヌーでマングローブを満喫。空気がとても気持ちいいです。
ミナミトビハゼや魚の群れを見ながら進みます。
カヌーを降りたらサキシマスオウノキに挨拶し、滝上を目指しトレッキング。
まさにジャングルといった森の中を進むと、キノボリトカゲ、キシノウエトカゲなど様々な生き物に出会えました。
数十分歩き、たどり着いた滝の上はまさに絶景でした。柵も何もないので間近で滝口を見ることができます。
ガイド五十畑さんの自家製八重山そばは出汁がきいていてとても美味しかったです。
景色を見ながらのランチは最高の気分でした。
その後滝壺に向かいます。トレッキングで汗をかいた後の滝壺での水浴びはとても気持ちよかったです。
ピナイサーラの滝は沖縄県で最大の落差だそうで、間近で見ることができるので迫力がありました。
おやつの自家製ケーキは元パン屋さんの奥様お手製だそうでとても美味しかったです。
なお、ツアー中はトイレがないので簡易トイレを使うことになります。初めての経験でしたが難しくはなかったです。滝壺近くの簡易トイレがウォーターフォールビューなのでおすすめです笑
五十畑さんには色々な話をしていただき、西表島の多様な自然を感じられる大満足の一日となりました！

I think this tour is efficient for those who find it difficult to travel to the northern part of Okinawa Prefecture without driving. We were able to see the Okinawa rail and fully enjoy nature. The lunch was also nice because it was at a smaller, popular eatery rather than a large cafeteria, which is common on tours. However, the contents of the lunch were different from what was mentioned beforehand (the sashimi was changed to grilled fish or simmered fish), and there was no explanation about this.

車を運転しないものにとっては行くのが難しい沖縄県北部を効率的に回れるツアーだと思います。
ヤンバルクイナも見られたし、自然を満喫できたツアーでした。
昼食も、ツアーにありがちな大きな食堂ではなく、小さめの人気の食堂ということもよかったです。
ただ、昼食の内容が事前に言われていたものと違いました(刺身が焼き魚？煮魚？に変わっていました)が特に説明はありませんでした。

The weather was nice, and I was able to enjoy the tour. At Cape Hedo, I could see all the way to Okierabu Island. I also got to see the Yanbaru Kuina taking a bath, and it was a very good day.

天気も良く、ツアーを楽しむことが出来ました。辺戸岬では沖伊良部島まで見ることが出来ました。ヤンバルクイナの水浴びも見られたし、とても良い1日でした。

It was a tour that balanced both the great nature of Yanbaru and its challenges. There was a proper explanation of each sightseeing spot in advance, and thanks to the unique and friendly explanations from the guides, I was able to enjoy the experience even more with a background knowledge.

やんばるの大自然と課題、両方をバランス良く詰め込んで頂いたツアーでした。各観光地の事前説明もきちんとあり、観光地の説明員さんの個性的でフレンドリーな説明のおかげで背景知識を持った上でより一層楽しめました。

If you're looking for a purpose like the one mentioned in the title, it might be a good opportunity to participate. Although the schedule is a bit tight, if you see it as packed with activities, it’s not a bad thing. Personally, it was a valuable opportunity to see the Okinawa rail.

タイトルに書いたような目的なら参加してみるのもいい機会かもしれません。予定がややタイトなきらいはありますが、盛り沢山と捉えれば悪くはありません。
個人的には、やんばるくいなをみることができた、貴重な機会でした。

There were 10 participants on the tour, and since we had a large bus, the seats were spacious. The tour guide did not accompany us, but the tour conductor provided information about the sightseeing spots, and it was enjoyable thanks to their extensive knowledge. There were also foreign participants, but the tour conductor explained everything in fluent English, so we were able to gather and tour on time without any issues. The weather was cloudy with strong winds and occasional rain, but I was glad we could see all the sights. It's a pity that if the weather had been better, we could have seen even more wonderful views, but I would like to participate again for a revenge tour.

ツアー参加者は１０名で大型バスだったので座席はゆったりでした。
バスガイドさんは同乗せずに添乗員さんが観光地の案内などしてくれましたが、知識豊かで楽しく過ごせました。
外国人の方もいましたが、添乗員さんが流暢な英語で説明していたので集合なども問題なく時間通りに観光できました。
当日は曇っていて風が強く時々雨が降る天候でしたがひと通り観光できて良かったです。
天候が良ければもっと素晴らしい景色を見られたと思うと残念ですが、またリベンジでまた参加したいと思います。

Thank you for teaching me so many detailed things; it was very educational. It was really interesting to learn not only about nature but also about farming. I was satisfied to encounter unique animals like the Okinawan red-bellied newt and the Japanese sparrowhawk. I will visit again in the summer!

It was a tour to Pinaisara Falls, and the kayaking along the way was fun. During the trekking, the guide introduced us to many plants and animals, making it a very enjoyable time!

The couple who joined the tour with us were very friendly, and we were able to spend a relaxing time, achieving 100% satisfaction!

I would like to request this tour again next time.

ピナイサーラの滝まで行くツアーでしたが、
道中のカヤックも楽しかったですし、トレッキングでもガイドさんが動植物の紹介をたくさんしてくれてとても楽しい時間でした！

I had my first experience with canoeing on Iriomote Island. The guide, Mr. Yabu from Monsoon, was very kind and provided clear instructions. Including the stunning views of the mangroves and the Pinaisara Falls, it was a truly memorable and valuable experience. I'm really glad I participated in this tour! Thank you!

The guide was a pleasant person. The driver also drove safely. The sashimi set lunch was delicious, and it was a popular restaurant, but we were able to eat without waiting thanks to the good organization. We also got to see the Okinawa rail.

運転手さんも安全運転でした。
昼食のお刺身定食も美味しかったし、人気のお店でしたが、段取り良く待たずに食べられました。ヤンバルクイナも見れました。

I was drawn to the name "Exploration Trekking" and made a reservation. However, it was a time when the activity of living creatures was sluggish, and the weather was rainy, so I couldn't take any photos. As someone who loves living creatures, it was disappointing, and it felt like an unsatisfying day for trekking.

Nevertheless, even in such circumstances, the guide taught us various things. I learned about the size of the impact from typhoons through large fallen trees and several dead pines. I gained energy at the power spot and learned that shade trees are necessary for coffee cultivation. The freshly picked shikwasa was also delicious.

Above all, I was happy to find a lizard and be able to hold it in my hand. I want to make a comeback during a time with better weather.

探検トレッキングというネーミングに惹かれて、予約しました。
しかし、生き物の活動が鈍くなっている時期に加え、天気も雨で写真も取れませんでした。
生き物大好きな私には残念だし、トレッキングとしても消化不良な日でした。
しかし、そんな状況の中でも、ガイドさんはいろいろ教えてくれました。
大きな倒木や、何本もの枯れた松、台風の影響の大きさを知り、パワースポットで、パワーをもらい、コーヒーの栽培場所では、シェードツリーが栽培には必要なことなど知ることができました。もぎ取ったシークワーサーも美味しかったです。
何より、一匹のトカゲを見つけて下さり、手に取ることができたのがうれしかった。
天候のよい時期にリベンジしたいです。

We participated as a family of four. While our adult sons had no issues, I was worried about whether my husband and I, who don't exercise at all, could handle trekking. However, the guide was attentive to our pace, and we enjoyed a comfortable jungle trekking experience without overexerting ourselves.

I was also concerned about what would happen regarding restrooms along the way, but there was a simple restroom area near the waterfall, allowing us to experience a refreshing break.

We were very satisfied with the half-day course, which included canoeing, trekking, and the magnificent nature of the waterfall. It was great that the tour included a lunch box, allowing us to continue with our other plans afterward.

家族4人で参加しました。成人している息子たちは問題ないのですが普段全く運動していない主人と私がトレッキングできるか心配でしたが
ガイドの方が私たちのペースをよくみてくれて無理なく程よいジャングルトレッキングを楽しめました。
あと、途中トイレはどうなるんだろ？っと不安でしたが滝近くに簡易のトイレスペースがあり、
解放感あるトイレタイムを体験できました。
半日コースでカヌーとトレッキングと滝の豪快な大自然を体験できて大満足です。
お昼にお弁当がついてるツアーだったので帰りにまた
他の予定に進めたのもよかったです。

Entering the forests of Yanbaru, I was able to observe creatures like snails with beautiful shell colors, stick insects camouflaged on trees, and geckos playing in the water. I also experienced the joy of picking acorns and eating shikuwasa, feeling like a child again.

On the day of the visit, I was worried about the rain, but they lent us rain gear and umbrellas, allowing us to explore nature without getting too wet.

The guide was very knowledgeable, and I learned a lot.

I participated in sneakers, but the ground was muddy due to the rain, so my shoes got dirty. It would be better to have a different pair of shoes (they don't have to be trekking shoes) to stay comfortable after the activities.

やんばるの森に入り、きれいな殻の色のかたつむりや木に擬態しているナナフシ、水遊びするヤモリなどの生物を観察したり、ドングリを拾い、シークワーサーを食べるという子供に戻ったような体験もできます。

当日は雨で心配しましたが、雨具や傘を貸していただき、ほとんど濡れずに自然散策できました。

案内人はとても知識が豊富で、勉強になりました。

スニーカーで参加しましたが、雨で地盤がぬかるんでいたので、泥が付いてしまいました。普段使いとは別の靴（トレッキングシューズでなくても大丈夫です）があったほうが、アクティビティ参加後も快適に過ごせます。

It was a tour that allowed us to fully enjoy the northern area, which is a bit far to drive to on our own. Although the stay at each destination was short, we were able to visit the mangroves, Cape Hedo, the Oishi Rock Forest, and the Okinawa Rail, and truly appreciate the nature of the Yambaru region. The trekking portion had ample time, allowing us to visit several power spots. The lunch was delicious, with plenty of fish, and the portions were sufficient to satisfy even the hungry middle and high school boys.

自分で運転していくには少し遠い北部を満喫できるツアーでした。一つ一つの目的地の滞在時間は短かったですが、マングローブも辺戸岬も大石林山もヤンバルクイナも見学でき、山原の自然を堪能することができました。トレッキングは時間も十分とってくださっていたので、パワースポットを十分巡ることができました。お昼ごはんは魚も美味しく、量も十分で食べ盛りの中高生男子も大満足でした。

I chose this tour because I wanted to experience Yanbaru National Park. The Oishi Forest Mountain has well-maintained trekking routes that are easy to walk. There are three types of trekking courses, but since time was limited, I only walked one course for 30 minutes.

I wish there had been a bit more time for free exploration in both Oishi Forest Mountain and the mangrove forest.

For lunch, we had a set meal with sashimi and grilled fish. Since we had some extra time, I strolled around the nearby beach.

There were many people participating alone, so we enjoyed taking pictures of each other, which was fun.

やんばる国立公園に生きたかったのでこのツアーを選びました。大石林山はトレッキングルートが整備されていて、歩きやすいです。トレッキングコースが3種類ありますが、時間が限られていたので30分の1コースだけ歩きました。
大石林山とマングローブの林では、もう少し長く自由散策の時間があればよかったと思います。
ランチはお刺身と焼き魚のついた定食でした。時間が余ったので近くの浜辺を散策しました。
お一人様で参加している人が多かったので、お互いに写真を取り合ったりして、楽しかったです。

If the tour had been a day earlier, there would have been a 2,000 yen discount and a 2,000 yen coupon, but due to scheduling issues, I ended up participating in a 12,000 yen tour feeling like I lost out.

I was surprised to find the bus already arrived at the meeting place 10 minutes before the gathering time.
1. The tour guide told us to fasten our seatbelts for safety while standing and talking, which I found to be an unacceptable attitude. It would have been better if they had sat down and talked while wearing their seatbelt.
2. I made a purchase of 1,500 yen for 5,000 yen on the bus. Normally, a Japanese person would give back 3,500 yen in change, but the tour guide exchanged it for a 5,000 yen bill and five 1,000 yen bills, then gave back 500 yen. It felt disrespectful towards the elderly.
3. At the photo point for the Great Buddha, the guide told us to prepare our cameras but passed by the location without saying anything, so we couldn't take any pictures.
4. I understand asking us to take our trash home, but wouldn't it be okay to throw it away at rest areas along the way? After the tour, I couldn't stand walking around the city with plastic bottles and trash. I wished they had indicated places where we could dispose of our garbage.
5. The guide referred to me as Mr. H. My name is K. I wanted to ask if they couldn't read the furigana.
6. The audio guidance ran out of battery twice in a row. They should have checked it properly!
7. After arriving at the drop-off location, the guide told me that if I was going to the airport, it would be better to get off here. I hurriedly got off and panicked about whether I had forgotten anything. I wished they had informed us a bit earlier.
8. After the speech, the guide spoke in a condescending manner, almost like a chuckle. I felt a sense of superiority from their fluent English.
9. During lunch, the guide was busy serving and clearing tables. If they had that much time, I wished they had done more photo opportunities and provided better sightseeing guidance.

I’ve listed various complaints, but these are just my personal impressions. I did enjoy the sightseeing overall.

ツアーが１日前であったならば２千円の割引があり、クーポン２千円が付いていたのに日程の調整が付かず１．２万円のツアーとなってしまい損した気分で参加した。
集合時間の１０分前には集合場所に行くと既にバスが到着していて驚いた。
①添乗員は我々客には危険防止のためシートベルトを締めよと言いながら、自分は立ったままで話しているのが最初に気に食わない態度であった。シートベルトをして座って話した方が顔を見せなくても良い。
②車内販売で５千円で１，５００円の買い物をした。日本人なら３千５百円のお釣りをよこすのが普通だが、添乗員は５，０００円札と千円札5枚を交換して、それから５百円を交換した、欧米か！老人を馬鹿にした態度にしか感じられなかった。
③大仏様の写真撮影ポイントです。カメラの準備をしてくださいと言っておきながら、添乗員はその場所を通り過ぎたのに何も言わず、撮ることが出来なかった。
④車内のごみは持ち帰ってくださいと言うのは解りますが、途中の道の駅等で捨ててもいいのではないか？ツアー後、ペットボトルやごみを持って街中を歩くのは邪魔で耐えられなかった。ごみを捨てても良い場所を示してほしかった。
⑤添乗員から私の名をＨ様と呼ばれる。Ｋである。フリガナを振ってあるのに読めないのか？と言いたくなる。
⑥音声ガイダンスの電池切れが２回続けてあった。点検位ちゃんとやれ！
⑦降車場所に着いてから、添乗員に空港に行くならここで降りた方がいいよと言われた。慌てて降りて、忘れ物が無いか慌てふためいた。もう少し早くいってほしかった。
⑧スピーチの後に少しせせら笑いのような話し方をする。英語がペラペラで上から目線を感じられた。
⑨ランチでレストランの配膳と片づけをやっていた。そんな暇があったら、写真撮影や観光ガイドをもっとやってほしかった。
色々文句を並べましたが、個人の感想です。観光は十分楽しめました。

I wanted to refresh myself in a place surrounded by nature! After considering where to go, I decided on Iriomote Island, and I thought this tour would be perfect. In November, Iriomote Island was warm and had a comfortable climate. The guide was very friendly and talkative, and there was never a dull moment.

I received a phone call with the tour details the day before, which gave me peace of mind. On the day of the tour, there were two groups with four participants. We changed into our shoes, received a lecture on how to paddle a canoe, walked to where the canoes were, and set off towards the Pinaisara Falls. The sky was cloudy, and it looked like it might rain, but the weather was just right. While paddling, the guide explained about the plants and birds, making the journey to our first destination enjoyable. We got off the canoe and started trekking towards Pinaisara Falls. The guide provided clear directions, so I felt safe climbing.

Along the way, there were light showers, but we managed to hold up. Upon reaching the top of Pinaisara Falls, the view overlooking the mangroves was fantastic. The Yaeyama soba that the guide prepared was delicious with a rich broth. We were able to take lots of photos and relax. Next, we aimed for the base of the falls.

When we arrived at the base, the water was murky due to the rain, but the power of the waterfall was incredible. It got colder as the rain intensified, but the coffee the guide made warmed me up. We paddled back in the canoe as the rain became heavier. It turned into a downpour, but it was a valuable experience. On the way back to the hotel, I was lucky enough to encounter a Semaruhakogame (a type of turtle). Throughout the tour, the guide was very considerate, allowing me to participate in the tour with peace of mind.

大自然に囲まれた場所でリフレッシュがしたい！
手付かずの自然囲まれたい。と考えた結果西表島になり、このツアーがぴったりだと思い参加しました。１１月の西表島は暖かく、過ごしやすい気候でした。ガイドさんはとても気さくでお話し好きな方で終始笑いが絶えなかったです。
ツアー前日にツアーの詳細のお電話をいただき、安心感はありました。当日、２組４人の参加でした。シューズを履き替え、カヌーの漕ぎ方のレクチャーを受け、カヌーが置いてある場所まで歩いて行き、カヌーに乗りピナイサーラの滝を目指しました。曇り空で今にも雨が降りそうな天気でしたが、ちょうど良い気候でした。カヌーを漕ぎながらガイドの方が植物や鳥等の説明をしていただき楽しく最初の目的地に着き、カヌーを降りてピナイサーラの滝を目指してトレッキングをスタートしました。ガイドさんがきっちり誘導していただけたので安心して登れました。途中、
小雨が降ったり止んだりしましたが何とか持ち堪えました。
ピナイサーラの滝上に到着し、マングローブを見渡せる景色は最高でした。
ガイドさんが作ってくれた八重山そばが出汁がきいて美味しかったです。
写真も沢山撮ることができ、ゆっくりできました。次は滝壺を目指して降りました。
滝壺に到着し、雨の影響で水が濁ってましたが滝水の迫力が凄かったです。
雨が激しくなり寒かったですが、ガイドさんがコーヒーを淹れてくれたコーヒーで身体が温まりました。
雨が強まる中カヌーで戻りました。
途中から大雨になりましたが貴重な体験ができました。ホテル迄の送迎の途中にセマルハコガメに遭遇できラッキーでした。
終始ガイドさんが気遣って下さり安心してツアーに参加できました。

In late autumn, we set off for a walk in the Yamahara forest. After receiving a lecture from our guide about the forest's flora and fauna, we began our journey! Crunching through the fallen leaves and pushing aside the grass, we entered the woods.

This year's typhoon had caused large fern branches to break and trees to lean from their roots, while the stream had been significantly eroded, clearly showing the impact of the strong winds and torrents. Even so, the fallen trees were reaching their branches back up towards the sky and sending new roots down into the ground.

As the day approached noon, the creatures that had become sluggish during this season began to emerge in the sunlight. Crickets were hopping around, and occasionally, we could hear the sound of cicadas. In a hole on the mountainside, a large centipede was peeking out to observe us, while dragonflies and butterflies fluttered in the dappled sunlight. Even in the late autumn forest, there were many little friends around.

We were guided to a place where we could feel the power of nature, soaking in the forest's energy and enjoying a special time. And then, our guide surprised us with a special exploration of the changed stream due to the typhoon. We walked along the stream, avoiding fallen trees, experiencing both the excitement of the forest walk and the awe of nature's might.

In the quiet moments and the immense power of the forest, there was a mysterious and special time to be found.

晩秋、山原の森歩きへ。
ガイドさんから森の動植物・森歩きのレクチャーを受け、出発！カサカサと落ち葉を踏み草をかき分けながら森の中へ。
今年の台風で、大きなシダの枝が折れ木が根から傾き、沢は大きく削られて、風の通り道・激流の跡でその影響の大きさが目の前に。それでも　薙ぎ倒された木はまた空に向かって枝を伸ばし、新たな根を地面に向かって下ろしていた。
この時期活動が鈍くなっている生き物達も、お昼近くになると陽射しの下でかおを出し始める。コオロギがたくさん跳ね回り、時々蝉の声が聞こえてくる。山の斜面にある穴の中では大きなゲジゲジがこちらの様子を伺っていたり、糸蜻蛉や蝶が木漏れ日の中でひらひらしていたり。晩秋の森でも小さなお友達が沢山いる。
そんな自然の力を感じる場所に案内してもらい、森のパワーを全身で浴びて、特別な時間を堪能。
そして、、、パワフルな私達に、ガイドさんから特別なおかわり探検をプレゼント。台風で変わってしまった沢へ。倒木をよけながら激流の跡の沢歩をさせて頂いた。森歩きのワクワク感と同時に自然の脅威も感じながら。
静かな時と大きな森のパワー。そこには不思議で特別な時間がある。

I searched for a tour that could take me to the northernmost part, which is difficult to access individually, and I applied for this one. It was great that we could efficiently cover the area.

Since the hotel I was staying at was far from the meeting point, I had called a taxi for the morning, but unfortunately, it was forgotten for my individual booking, and I almost missed it! I hurriedly called the contact number for assistance, and it turned out that I could catch up by taking a bus partway. I managed to make it just in time! I'm glad my family trip wasn't ruined. I'm grateful to the kind tour guide and driver!

Later, when I asked the tour guide, I learned that if I had requested directly from the tour company from the beginning, I could have specified a meeting point closer to my hotel.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the tour itself, but it seems that the raw fish lunch didn't sit well with me, and I felt a bit unwell afterward. Normally, I don't have such issues and am usually quite sturdy. That was a bit disappointing.

個人ではなかなか行きにくい最北部に行けるツアーを探してこちらを申込しました。効率的に回れて良かったです。
宿泊しているホテルが集合場所から離れていたので朝タクシーを呼んでいたのが、なんと個人のため忘れられて間に合わないという事態に！あわてて連絡先に電話して対応相談、通り道途中までバスで行けば合流できそうということで何とか間に合いました！家族旅行の計画が台無しにならず良かったです。親切な添乗員さんと運転手さんに感謝！
後で添乗員さんにきいたら、最初からツアー会社に直接依頼すれば、ホテルから近いその合流場所を指定することもできたみたいでした。
また、ツアーそのものは満足度高かったですが、生魚の昼食が体に合わなかったようで、その後ちょっと体調をくずしました。普段は余りそんなこともなく丈夫なはずなのに。それがちょっと残念でした。

We participated as a family of four (with elementary school children). In October, it was a bit hot wearing long sleeves and long pants, but it was perfect for sun protection, insect repellent, and injury prevention. Additionally, the half-day course was just right for my children and me, who are not very active. Above all, the Pinai Sara Falls were breathtaking. There were times when the canoe didn't go in the direction I wanted, but the instructions were thorough, so I think beginners will feel at ease. The trekking was also adjusted to the children's pace, and we learned the names of plants and animals, which deepened our understanding of nature. If there's another opportunity, I would definitely like to participate again.

10月で長袖長ズボンだと少し暑かったものの、日焼け＆虫除け、怪我防止対策には最適でした。
また、半日コースは子供たちと運動不足の私にも丁度良かったです。
何よりもピナイサーラの滝は、絶景でした。
カヌーではなかなか思う方向に進まないときもありましたが、丁寧にレクチャーして頂きましたので、初心者でも安心だと思います。
トレッキングも子供のペースに合わせてくれましたし、植物、生き物の名前も教えて頂いて、自然への理解が深まりました。
また機会があれば、是非参加したいと思います。

It was a very fulfilling tour and became a wonderful memory. I participated alone, but while trekking with the guide, I learned about the guiding system of Iriomote Island and their efforts towards nature, which deepened my understanding of the island's environment. Of course, I also received explanations about the plants we encountered along the way, which was educational.

It was my first experience with canoeing, but I received a lecture beforehand, which made me feel secure in taking part. Canoeing in the great outdoors was amazing! I had heard that solo canoes are more likely to tip than tandem ones, so I was a bit nervous at first, but by the return trip, I felt much more relaxed and was able to enjoy the scenery while moving through nature.

The waterfall was more impressive than I had imagined and was absolutely fantastic! I felt so energized that it seemed to wash away all the fatigue from my work. Watching the waterfall while eating the delicious rice balls from the lunch provided was the best feeling! I heard that the guide and the owner prepared the lunch in the morning.

After the tour, I received image data that the guide took during the tour, and they were all wonderful, bringing me happiness just by looking at them. The guide was indeed skilled at taking photos!

I was extremely satisfied with this very fulfilling half-day plan!

とても充実したツアーで大変良い思い出になりました。
私は1人参加でしたが、ガイドさんと西表島のガイド制度や自然に対する取り組み等話しながらトレッキングして、更に西表島の自然に対して理解が深まりました。勿論、途中で見かける植物等の説明をしていただき、勉強になりました。

また、カヌー初体験でしたが、事前にレクチャーしていただき、安心して取組めました。
大自然の中のカヌーは最高でした(^^)1人乗りは2人乗りより落ちやすい事を聞いていたので、初めはドキドキでしたが、帰りの道ではだいぶ余裕が出来て周りをのんびり見ながら大自然を堪能して楽しみながら移動できました。

滝は、想像以上に迫力があり、最高でした！！パワーを沢山貰い、今までの仕事の疲れなどが消えた位本当に素晴らしかったです。そして、そこで配布された美味しいおむすびのあるお弁当を食べながら滝を眺めるのは最高の気分でした！
お弁当はガイドさんとオーナーさんが朝作ってくれたそうです(^^)

ツアー後にガイドさんがツアー中に撮ってくれた画像データもいただき、どれも素敵で見てるだけで幸せな気持ちになります。さすがガイドさんは写真の撮り方も上手でした！

半日で大変充実したプランで大満足でした！！

It's almost time for age restrictions to kick in (for a couple aged 75 and 70), but we decided to take on the challenge. On the day of the tour, we were lucky as it was just our group. We enjoyed a leisurely pace while listening to explanations during the canoeing and trekking to the waterfall basin, and we reached it without any difficulty. After arriving, we spent a refreshing time getting splashed by the waterfall, making it a satisfying tour. Thank you, Eri, our tour guide!

そろそろ年齢制限に引っかかる(75歳と70歳夫婦)ツアーですが、
チャレンジしました。当日は、人組だけでしたのでラッキー
カヌーも滝壺までのトレッキングもゆっくりのんびり説明を聞きながら
難なく滝壺まで…到着後は、滝水の飛沫を浴びながら清々しい時間を
過ごし満足するツアーでした。ツアーガイドのえりさん、有難うございました。

It was a tour where even someone like me, who lives in the city and rarely has the chance to connect with nature and hasn't been exercising much, could enjoy kayaking and trekking! Since I stayed in Ishigaki Island instead of participating from Iriomote Island, I was looking for a tour that I could join locally. However, since I don't usually exercise much, I thought I might not have the stamina for a full-day tour, so I consulted with my family and decided to try a half-day tour.

For kayaking, we could choose between single and double kayaks, and this time I went with a double kayak with my family. Steering was challenging, but it felt stable. The staff kindly taught us how to paddle, and the guide was great, which made the experience very enjoyable. After about 30 minutes of kayaking, we headed towards the waterfall. We were provided with river shoes for trekking, so it was no problem to climb even in wet areas. I wore trekking shoes, but since my feet got wet from kayaking, I was able to borrow river shoes when preparing at the office, so there was no worry about my shoes.

When we arrived at the waterfall, we enjoyed the rice ball bento they prepared for us and jumped into the waterfall! My family said it felt amazing. If you bring a change of clothes from the start, I highly recommend jumping into the waterfall.

The staff took a lot of photos for us, so we have wonderful memories from the day. Next time, I want to try canoeing by myself.

One thing to note is that the sun in Iriomote Island at the end of September is hot, so it's best to wear clothing that covers both your upper and lower body. It gets surprisingly hot, and you might regret exposing your skin, so please prepare accordingly. Also, it's advisable to stay hydrated.

日頃は都会生活で自然に触れ合う機会もなく、運動もしていない体力不足の身体でも、カヤック＋トレッキングが楽しめるツアーでした！
西表島からの参加ではなく、石垣島に宿泊したため、現地集合で参加できるツアーを探していました。とはいえ、日頃はあまり運動もしないため、終日ツアーだと体力が持たないかもしれないと思い、家族と相談して半日ツアーをトライすることに。カヤックは一人乗りと二人乗りを選べるのですが、今回は家族と一緒に二人乗りにしました。舵をとるのは大変ですが安定感があります。
漕ぎ方をスタッフの方が親切に教えてくれるし、ガイドもしてくれたのでとても良かったです。30分くらいカヤックして、到着したところから滝を目指します。最初に貸してくれる沢シューズでトレッキングするため、足元が濡れたところでも問題なく登れます。トレッキングシューズを履いていきましたが、カヤックで足元が濡れるため、事務所で準備するときに沢シューズを貸していただきましたので、靴の心配はありません。滝に着いたら、用意してくれたおにぎりのお弁当を頂いて、滝にドボン！すごく気持ちよいと家族が言ってました。最初から着替えを持ってきている人はぜひ滝に飛び込むとよいでしょう。
またたくさんスタッフの方が写真を撮ってくださいましたので、とてもよい思い出が残りました。今度は一人カヌーで体験したいです。
注意点とすれば、9月末の西表島の日差しは暑く、上も下も肌が隠れる格好がよいです。びっくりするぐらい暑すぎて、肌を露出していることに後悔しますので準備していってください。あと水分補給対策はしたほうがよいでしょう。

The tour guide did an excellent job guiding us. When my partner was struggling with how to paddle the canoe, the guide helped by pulling us along with a rope and made sure to communicate effectively, which was very helpful. Being over sixty, I found canoeing in the summer heat quite challenging, and the subsequent trekking involved some steep paths, so even the half-day course required a fair amount of stamina. However, the stunning views we reached were truly moving, and jumping into the cool waters of the waterfall felt exceptional after the heat. The guide also took many photos for us and pointed out great spots for Instagram, resulting in some wonderful pictures that I wanted to post. Additionally, the rice balls we had for lunch were made with local rice and were very tasty. This was my second time at Pinaisara, while it was my partner's first, and it turned out to be a wonderful memory. Although it was a bit tough on a hot day, I’m glad we participated.

ツアーガイドさんはそつなく上手にガイドしてくださいました。相方がカヌーの漕ぎ方に戸惑っていたところ、紐でつないでひっぱって進んでくださったり、きちんと目配せもしてくださって助かりました。自分が還暦越えの年齢だというのもありますが、夏の暑さの中でのカヌー漕ぎはそれなりに大変ですし、その後のトレッキングもけっこう険しい道を進むので、半日コースでもそれなりに体力を使います。そうしてたどり着いた先の景色のよさには感動ひとしおですし、火照った体で飛び込む滝壺の気持ちよさも格別でした。ガイドさんには写真もたくさんとっていただいて、インスタ映えするポイントなんかも教えていただき、投稿に使いたくなる上手な写真が多かったのもよかったです。あと、昼食でいただいたおにぎりも地元のお米ということで、とてもよいお味でした。自分は2回目のピナイサーラ、相方は初めてでしたが、とてもいい思い出になり、暑い日で少し大変でしたが、参加してよかったと思いました。

I had some anxiety about my first visit to Iriomote Island, but after making a reservation, they suggested even better plans, which was very helpful! The trekking path was tough, but I was moved by the sight of the waterfall afterward and felt rejuvenated by the delicious lunch! Thank you so much! There are still many places I want to visit on Iriomote Island, so I would like to ask for your help again.

初めての西表島で不安もありましたが、一度予約した後もより良いプランを提案してくださり、とても助かりました！
また、トレッキングの道は険しかったですが、その後滝を見れた感動と、美味しいランチで癒されました！！本当にありがとうございます！

The Pinay Sara Falls are truly amazing, and the guide was kind, making it an unforgettable trip! I was worried since I brought small children, but there were no problems at all. I would love to participate again if I have the chance!
