On the day of your visit, we were blessed with beautiful weather, and I’m truly happy that you were able to enjoy the stunning clarity of the water in the Urauchi River and the contrast with the mangroves in such great conditions!

Thank you for enthusiastically listening to my somewhat nerdy (laughs) explanations about the unique plant ecology of the brackish water area and the differences in species between the sandbars and riverbanks. When you look at the scenery with knowledge, the ordinary green forest starts to look like a "living encyclopedia," and it deepens your affection for it, doesn’t it?

The stories from Yubu Island were heartwarming as well. Knowing the history built by the grandfather alone makes the blooming flowers feel even more precious. Capturing the miraculous moment of butterflies sipping nectar on camera was truly a gift from the nature of Iriomote Island to both of you.

The time spent in the water buffalo cart surrounded by the sounds of the sanshin (a traditional Okinawan instrument) must surely have become a lifelong memory.

Thank you also for your warm words towards Shogo, the preparation staff, and the guides from Yubu Island! I will make sure to convey your appreciation to the entire team. There is no greater joy than knowing that this baton we all passed on has become the best travel memory.

We are delighted to hear that you took advantage of the VELTRA campaign and were able to experience the magnificent nature of Iriomote Island. We hope you enjoyed the overwhelming scale of the mangroves that are unique to Iriomote Island, which is quite different from Ishigaki Island.

On the other hand, we sincerely apologize for any disappointment caused by the changes in activities and the photography on the day of the tour.

Although the weather was clear on that day, we guided you to switch to kayaking based on safety standards related to wind speed and tidal changes, in accordance with our company manual. However, we regret that we could not provide a satisfactory explanation for this decision, which led to feelings of distrust regarding the reasoning behind it. The guides and staff deeply reflect on this matter. Moving forward, we will strive to communicate our criteria for on-site decisions more clearly and ensure sincere responses.

We also apologize for the lack of memorable photos. We understand that many of them had your eyes closed, and we will re-educate our team to ensure that we capture your important moments as professionals, improving both the quantity and quality of the photos to meet your satisfaction.
