I was looking for a trekking tour to Pinai Sara Falls that is accessible for those over 65, and I joined this one. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed kayaking on the calm Hinai River and trekking through the forests of Iriomote Island, eventually arriving at the magnificent basin of Pinai Sara Falls. It was hot, so I felt like a child again and swam in the basin.

I participated alone, but the guide took photos during kayaking and trekking and sent them to me, which was very helpful since I couldn't take pictures while focusing on paddling. The shop has showers and changing rooms, so you can change and enjoy sightseeing in the afternoon as well.

65歳以上でも参加できるピナイサーラの滝のトレッキングツアーを探していてこちらに参加しました。天候にも恵まれ静かなヒナイ川のカヤックと西表島の森のトレッキングを楽しみながら豪快なピナイサーラの滝壺に到着。暑かったこともあり童心に戻って滝壺で泳ぎました。
一人で参加しましたが、ガイドさんがカヤックやトレッキング中の写真を撮って送ってくださったので助かりました（漕ぐのに集中して写真がとれない）。
ショップにはシャワーと更衣室あるので着替えて午後からの観光も楽しめます。

I participated with a friend. On the day of the event, there were only two other couples besides us, and since there were hardly any other users at the beach, it felt almost like a private experience, allowing us to enjoy ourselves freely.

What left a strong impression on me was the jet ski. The wind rushing over the sea felt incredibly refreshing, and it was exhilarating. The speed was thrilling, and there were moments when we leaned significantly to the left and right, which was quite exciting. However, the staff's driving was skilled, providing both intensity and stability. I fell off the back at one moment when I let my guard down, but since I was wearing a life jacket, I was quickly picked up, which made me feel safe.

In addition to the banana boat, there were many rides that required using arm strength and grip to avoid being thrown off, allowing us to engage our whole bodies in play. The staff were kind, and I appreciated the shuttle service from the hotel to the event location. Although I didn't use it this time, I think having showers available after the event is also convenient.

友人と2人で参加しました。当日は私たちのほかにカップルの方が2人おり、海にもほかの利用者がほとんどいなかったため、ほぼ貸切のような状態でのびのびと楽しめました。

特に印象に残ったのはマリンジェットです。海の上を走る風がとても気持ちよく、爽快感がありました。スピードもあり、左右に大きく傾く場面もあってかなりスリリングでしたが、スタッフの方の運転が上手く、迫力がありながらも安定感がありました。私は油断した瞬間に後ろへ落ちてしまいましたが、ライフジャケットを着用しており、すぐに拾ってもらえたので安心でした。

バナナボートのほかにも、振り落とされないよう腕力や握力を使って耐える乗り物が多く、全身を使って遊べました。スタッフの方も優しく、ホテルから開催場所まで送迎してもらえたのもありがたかったです。今回は利用しませんでしたが、終了後に使えるシャワーが用意されているのも便利だと思います。

Among the many tours available for those up to 65 years old, this tour allowed me, at 66, to kayak to Ida Beach and also go snorkeling. Both kayaking and snorkeling were my first experiences, but the guide was very thorough in teaching us, which made me feel at ease.

Ida Beach is beautiful, but the surrounding emerald green sea is truly breathtaking. The experience of kayaking through it was the best.

６５歳までのツアーが多い中、このツアーでは６６歳の私でもイダの浜までカヤックで行けてシュノーケリングもできました。カヤックもシュノーケリングも初体験ですがガイドさんが丁寧に教えてくれて安心です。
イダの浜も綺麗ですが、その周囲のエメラルドグリーンの海は感動です。その中をカヤックで進む体験は最高でした。
貴重な経験と感動、ありがとうございました。

The Sagarihana tour has a strict age limit of 65, but I was able to participate even though I am over that age.

We started by lowering the kayaks to the river in the morning glow and began paddling. Even as a beginner, I felt at ease because the guide carefully taught us how to paddle.

The guide took us to the best spot on the river that day, allowing us to fully enjoy the blooming Sagarihana and the petals gently falling.

I would love to join again next year.

６５歳制限の多いサガリバナツアーですが、このツアーでは６５歳を超えた私でも参加できました。
朝焼けの中、カヤックを川まで降ろし漕ぎ始めます。初めてでもガイドさんが丁寧にこぎ方を教えてくださるので安心です。
ガイドさんがその日最高の川に案内してくれるので、満開のサガリバナ、ぽたぽた落ちるサガリバナを満喫できました。
また来年も参加したいと思います。

Climbing up to the top of the waterfall was quite tough, but the view from the top was amazing!

After that, I relaxed by the base of the waterfall, and the cold water helped refresh me and relieve my fatigue!

滝上まで登るのはかなりキツかったですが、滝上からの景色は最高でした！

その後、滝ツボでのんびり過ごしましたから、水も冷たく疲れが取れました！

Two of us participated! The staff was very kind and provided transportation close to the hotel! During the canoeing, they taught us about constellations and shared information about the island, making it a great experience✨ I'm glad I participated! I recommend it to anyone who is unsure!!

This time, we did canoeing and trekking in the morning, followed by snorkeling in the afternoon. It seems that the order is determined by the conditions at the time.

Well, canoeing through the mangroves was fun, especially with the nice weather. The trek to the waterfall felt a bit tough for my out-of-shape body lately. However, cooling down in the waterfall and soaking in the negative ions from the forest charged my energy! After a rice ball lunch, we retraced our steps back.

We returned to the base before heading out for snorkeling. Although we set off on a small boat, Barasu Island did not appear. We started snorkeling without much explanation at the spot. The underwater conditions were good, and the visibility was excellent.

Next, we moved to the sea turtle spot for a rendezvous. Many turtles were napping, but I was able to swim with a few, so the mission was a success. We then returned to the island. Wait, where was Barasu Island?

今回はAMカヌー＆トレッキング、PMシュノーケリングという順番だった。その時のコンディション等で決定してるらしい。
さて、マングローブでのカヌー漕ぎは天気も良く楽しかった。滝までのトレッキングは運動不足の身体にはちとキツくも感じた今日此の頃＿|￣|○　滝壺でのクールダウンと森からのマイナスイオンでパワーチャージ(*´ω｀*)
おにぎりランチ後に来た道を戻る感じ。
一度ベースに戻ってからシュノーケリングへ。
小型ボートで沖へ出発したもののバラス島は現れず。スポットでは特に説明もなくそのままシュノーケリング開始。海中のコンディションは良好で透明度も上々。
次にウミガメスポットへ移動してランデブー。昼寝中の個体が多かったけど何匹かと一緒に泳げたのでミッション成功。
そのまま帰島。あれ？バラス島は？？

The weather was nice, the Sagari-bana flowers were beautiful, and we were fortunate to have a great guide. It was the best tour! We were able to see the scenery as described in the brochure, and I thoroughly enjoyed the fragrance of the flowers. I'm very satisfied! Thank you!

A couple, aged 63 and 62, chose Iriomote Island for their final adventure. They have experienced canoeing over the past five years in places like the Shimanto River and Miyako Island, as well as hiking on Mount Fuji and Yakushima, but they decided it might be time for their last adventure together. In the end, it was a great decision. Although it was a bit cloudy, they were able to enjoy a pleasant half-day. Since it was just the two of them with the guide, the instructions were clear and easy to understand for the elderly. Even though they said it would be their last time, they found themselves wanting to come back again.

６３歳と６２歳の夫婦が最後に挑む冒険として、西表島を選びました。カヌーはここ５年間、四万十川、宮古島等で体験、登山も同じく、富士山、屋久島島等で体験していますが、そろそろ最後かなと夫婦で相談しこの地を選びました。その結果、大正解でした。少し曇りがちでしたが。気持ちの良い半日を過ごすことができました。ガイドの案内は私たち夫婦のみでしたので年寄り相手に解りやすく案内していただきました。最後といいながらまた来たいと思ってしましました。

Since it was a half-day course, my 9-year-old child was able to participate without any issues. Kayaking under the blue sky while admiring the mangroves was fantastic. We had plenty of time to swim in the waterfall pool, and the course included having lunch there before heading back. During the hike, we received explanations about rare plants and even got to see crabs, making for a fulfilling day. I was also satisfied with the many photos they sent us. If I have the chance to come back to Iriomote Island, I would love to participate again.

半日コースだったので、9歳の子供でも問題なく参加することができました。マングローブを眺めながら、青空の下のカヤックは最高でした。
滝つぼで泳ぐ時間もしっかりと取れ、ランチを滝つぼで頂いてから戻ってくるというコースでした。ハイキングの道中では珍しい植物の説明をしてもらったり、カニを見れたりして、充実した日になりました。写真もたくさん送ってもらえて満足です。また西表島に来ることがあったら参加したいです。

I was able to fully enjoy the charms of Iriomote Island in one day with canoeing, waterfalls, and snorkeling. There were many picturesque views, making it a particularly memorable experience during my trip.

カヌー、滝、シュノーケリングと西表島の魅力を1日で満喫できました。写真映えする景色も多く、旅行の中でも特に思い出に残る体験になりました。

We participated with two people aged 59 and 62, and we were able to paddle the canoe relatively easily. The trekking to the waterfall was somewhat physically demanding, but the breathtaking view of the Pinaisara Falls made all the fatigue disappear.

The subsequent sightseeing at Yufujima, where we leisurely crossed the sea on a water buffalo cart, was an experience I’m glad I had at least once.

The staff's service was also very pleasant.

The only concern I had was during lunch when rice balls and fried chicken were provided. Since we were grabbing rocks and grass during the trekking and had just swum in the waterfall, it would have been nice to have chopsticks or wet wipes available.

59歳と62歳の二人での参加でしたが、カヌーも比較的難なく漕げ、滝壺までのトレッキングもやや体力消耗しましたが、ピナイサーラの滝を見上げる絶景は素晴らしく疲れも吹き飛びました。

その後の由布島観光も水牛車に乗ってのんびり海を渡る経験は一度はしておいて良かったと思います。

スタッフの方の対応も非常に気持ち良いものでした。

唯一気になったのは昼食におにぎりと唐揚げが提供されたのですが、トレッキング時に岩や草を掴み、また滝壺で泳いだ後なので、箸、もしくはウエットティッシュが提供されなかった事です。

First of all, I would like to thank all the instructors for this experience. They provided guidance in a very polite and approachable manner, creating a friendly atmosphere throughout. Although we had a guided tour in the rain, I felt that they offered a unique enjoyment and appreciation of nature that can only be found here. Approaching 50 years old, I was able to encounter one of my dreams since elementary school: the Yaeyama mangrove butterfly in Iriomote Island! I was truly very satisfied.

In my 60s, I was worried about my physical stamina, but the guide was always attentive and walked at my pace. During the canoeing and trekking, they provided information about various plants and animals. I was particularly impressed by the sagari flower, which blooms at night and wilts by morning, floating by the waterside.

The waterfall was beautiful, and the water in the basin felt great. They allowed plenty of time for us to enjoy it, and the homemade bento we had there was exceptional.

They also took more photos than I had imagined. Families with children or those hesitant about strenuous trekking should definitely choose this option.

60代、体力にも自信がなく心配でしたが、ガイドさんが常に気にしてくれて、私のペースに合わせて歩いてくれました。カヌー、トレッキングの最中にも色々な動植物の案内をしてくれました。中でも夜咲いて朝までに散るさがり花が水辺に浮いてて感激。
滝は美しい、滝壺の水は気持ち良い、時間もたっぷり取ってくれて、そこで食べる手作り感満載のお弁当は格別でした。
写真も想像以上にたくさん撮ってくれていました。
子どもさん連れのご家族や、ハードなトレッキングに躊躇している方は、ぜひこのメニューを選んでください。

In a word, it was a lot of fun and I'm glad I came. First of all, we were blessed with great weather, and the trekking went smoothly. There were some steeper and more challenging parts than I expected, but I was able to push through to the end thanks to the two guides and the other participants in the tour, who made it enjoyable. Soaking in the waterfall pool felt amazing! I definitely recommend this experience to everyone else. Thank you!

一言で言うととても楽しく来てよかった、と言う感じです。まずとてもお天気に恵まれ、トレッキングも順調に進みました。思ったより急で険しい所もあり大変でしたが、ガイドさん二人と同ツアー参加の方と楽しく頑張れたので最後までやり抜けれました。

I had a great time. If you're going to Iriomote Island, you should definitely do this. However, since there are various tour options available, I recommend considering others as well before making a choice.

Regarding lunch, on other tours, people were enjoying delicious bento boxes or Okinawa soba made by the guides right in front of the waterfall. In this tour, lunch was scheduled after returning home. Personally, I found that to be quite disappointing.

ただ色々なツアーの選択肢があるので他とも検討して選ぶのがおすすめ。

他のツアーでは滝を目の前にして、美味しそうな弁当やガイドさんが作った沖縄そば食べていた。
ここのツアーは帰宅してから昼ごはんという流れだった。
私的にはそれが非常に残念だと思いましたり

In mid-May, I participated with my 4-year-old daughter and my husband, making it a family of three. At first, I was a bit worried about whether we could do canoeing and trekking with a small child, but the guide kindly adjusted to my daughter's pace throughout the trip, and the other tour participants were also very considerate of her, allowing us to enjoy the experience with peace of mind. My daughter was so excited to walk through the forest and touch the river water all by herself!

The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared many interesting and easy-to-understand stories about the insects we encountered along the way and the nature of Iriomote Island. Even the adults were captivated, making it a fantastic learning and adventure time that was more than just walking.

Additionally, I can't forget the freshly made hot Yaeyama soba that the guide cooked right in front of us using a burner, seasoned with kochujang! The natural setting, the soothing sound of the river, and the delicious broth that soaked into our bodies after the hike were truly exceptional, and our whole family finished it all in no time.

5月中旬に、4歳の娘と夫婦の家族3人で参加しました。
最初は小さな子供連れでカヌーやトレッキングができるか少し不安もありましたが、ガイドの方が終始娘のペースに合わせて優しくリードしてくださり、ご一緒になった他のツアー客の方も、娘のことを親切に気にしてくださり、終始安心して楽しむことができました。娘も自分で一生懸命森の中を歩き、川の水に触れて大はしゃぎでした！
ガイドさんはとても知識が豊富な方で、道中に出会う虫のことや西表島の自然について、フランクでありながらとても分かりやすく興味深いお話をたくさんしてくれました。大人もぐいぐい引き込まれ、ただ歩くだけではない最高の学びと冒険の時間になりました。
また、ランチで川のすぐ目の前でガイドさんがバーナーを使って作ってくださった、出来立て熱々の八重山そばにコーレーグースを入れた味が忘れられません！大自然のロケーション、心地よい川のせせらぎ、そして歩いた後の体に染み渡るお出汁の美味しさは本当に格別で、家族みんなでペロリと完食してしまいました。

Yesterday’s canoeing trip was excellent from start to finish. We were met at the port exactly as promised and introduced to our guide, Ryoma. His English was excellent, and he explained everything clearly, making us feel very welcome.

Once we arrived, we got into our canoes and headed down the river. Ryoma was very informative about the local wildlife and nature, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a great time canoeing along the river, and the weather was perfect — sunny with a light breeze.

At the end of the trip, we were taken to shower facilities before being dropped back at the port, which was very convenient. Ryoma also sent us the photos he had taken during the trip, and they were all really high quality.

Overall, the whole experience was perfect and exactly what we had hoped for. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone considering it.

Since it was prohibited to go without a guide starting last March, I had no choice but to participate, but both the canoeing and trekking, as well as the power of the waterfall and our guide, Eri, were all amazing. As a result, I thought the tour wasn't so bad after all.

昨年の3月からガイド無しで行く事が禁止されたので仕方無く参加したのですがカヌーもトレッキングも滝の迫力もガイドのエリさんも最高でした。
結果、ツアーも悪くないなあと思いました。

It was cloudy, but it was actually good for my stamina. Canoeing was a first-time experience for me, and while I thought the trekking distance afterward wasn't long, I had to be careful navigating over the tangled tree roots and around the boulders while going up and down. I was the oldest in the group at 71 years old, but I was surprised to see elementary school kids playing at the base of the Pinai Waterfall when we arrived. The ferry from Ishigaki was canceled at Uehara Port, so we arrived by shuttle bus from Ohara Port, but the Iriomote Island Monsoon team provided safe transportation for us. The guide took photos at various points, including the canoeing spots and the waterfall. This was my second visit to Iriomote Island, but this time I truly felt the essence of the island. It was great. I felt pleasantly tired. Thank you very much.

曇天でしたが反って体力的には良かったです。カヌーは初めての経験で、その後のトレッキングの距離は長くは無いと思いましたが、張り巡らされた木の根を跨いで巨石を迂回しての上り下りに神経を使いました。この７人グループの最高齢は私７１才でしたが到着したピナイサーラの滝下で小学生が遊んでいたことにびっくりしました。石垣からのフェリーは上原港が欠航で大原港から連絡バスでの到着でしたが、西表島モンスーンさんは無事に送迎してくれました。写真もカヌーのポイント、滝のポイントなどでガイドさんに撮っていただきました。西表島は２回目でしたが。今回は改めて西表島を実感しました。良かったです。心地よい疲れでした。ありがとうございました。

We had a great afternoon during the canoe tour in the mangroves. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the mangrove ecosystem. The excursion was well organized, relaxing, and very enjoyable. We definitely recommend it!

I was really satisfied with the mangrove canoeing experience, just as I had imagined. They were considerate about taking photos so that not many other people were in them, and I have done quite a few activities, but I really enjoyed this one!

I had a great time seeing trees I had never seen before on Iriomote Island, as well as the Ton-ton-mi and crabs. The guide found and shared various things with us.

The canoeing was easy, with hardly any current, making it suitable for beginners. The excitement of seeing the waterfall is something I think you can't experience often. It's also rare to be able to jump into the waterfall pool. My husband and I, in our late 50s, took the plunge! It was refreshing!

If you're participating, please make sure to wear a swimsuit. Even if you don't jump in, I think you'll definitely want to after seeing it.

Along the way, the guide took a lot of photos for us. Overall, during our 3-night, 4-day trip to Ishigaki Island, going to Iriomote Island was the most enjoyable part.

西表島の見たことのない木や、トントンミーやカニが見れてとても楽しかったです。ガイドの方がいろいろ見つけて教えてくれました。
カヌーは流れがほとんどなくて初心者でも大丈夫でした。滝を見た時の感動はなかなか味わえないと思います。
滝つぼに入ることもなかなかできないと思います。50代後半の夫婦ですが、思い切って飛び込みました！爽快でした！
参加される方は是非水着を着て行ってください。
飛び込まなくても、見たら絶対入りたくなると思います。

今回、石垣島に3泊4日の旅行で、西表島に行ったことが一番楽しかったです。

I was a little worried that climbing might be tough, but I followed the guide and arrived safely. The stories along the way were enjoyable, and it felt like no time had passed.

登るのがきついかな…と少し心配はしましたが、ガイドさんに付いていき、無事 到着。
途中のお話も楽しくて、あっという間でした。

This was my second canoe experience on Iriomote Island, and it far surpassed my previous one, providing an amazing time. Canoeing while gazing at the majestic nature of the Pinai Sara Falls in the distance, experiencing the waterfall basin, and enjoying a warm lunch were all highlights.

The most luxurious moment, in my opinion, was when we leisurely walked on the sandy areas inhabited by mangroves during low tide. I believe the staff member, Eri, adjusted our time at the waterfall basin to bring us there.

I’m truly grateful for the many photos taken while paddling the canoe and checking on the participants. These were moments we couldn't capture ourselves. Even though it was only half a day, the experience was more than sufficient.

After returning to the hotel, we enjoyed relaxing on the beach and by the pool, making it a highly recommended plan that allowed us to spend our day without over-scheduling.

西表島でのカヌー体験は2度目でしたが前回をはるかに上回る素晴らい時間を過ごしました。
遠くに流れ落ちるピナイサーラの雄大な自然を眺めながらのカヌー時間、滝つぼでの体験、あったかいランチ。
そして一番の贅沢な時間だったなと思えるのが、干潮時で潮が引いていたのでマングローブが生息している砂場をゆったり歩いて過ごした時間。
きっとスタッフのエリさんが滝つぼで過ごす時間を調整してまで連れてきてくださったのだと思います。
又ご自分でカヌーを漕ぎながら、参加者の様子も確認しながらの中、たくさんの写真を撮っていただいて本当に感謝です。自分たちでは撮れない場面ばかりですから。
半日といえど充分すぎる内容でした。
ホテルへ戻ってからはのんびりビーチやプールで遊んだり自分達らしい詰め込み過ぎない日程で過ごす事ができるのとてもおすすめのプランです。

A full day packed with canoeing, waterfall pools, and snorkeling. Many ocean tours have age restrictions, making it difficult for seniors to find suitable options (though I believe seniors who want to participate in activities are quite energetic…). However, on this tour, the guide was very considerate, and I had a wonderful time. The snorkeling spots were incredibly beautiful. I did swallow some water and panicked a bit, but I received proper assistance, so thank you very much for that. For seniors who have given up due to age restrictions, you can definitely enjoy this tour, so please participate. I highly recommend it!

カヌー、滝壺、シュノーケリングと1日で盛りだくさん。海のツアーは特に年齢制限がある物が多く、高齢者は参加可能ツアーを探すのが大変ですが(アクティビティをしたい高齢者は元気と思うのですが…)こちらのツアーはガイドの方が気を使って頂き大変楽しく過ごしました

I took a boat from Ishigaki Port at 11 AM and arrived at Iriomote Island at noon. After dropping off my luggage at the hotel, I signed up for a tour to make the most of the three hours before check-in.

The half-day course started at 1 PM and lasted about three hours, which was a lot of fun.

The guide was very thorough in their explanations, making it easy for beginners to enjoy the experience without worry. This is a recommended tour that I think everyone should try when visiting Iriomote Island.

It was an activity that I could enjoy even alone.

11時石垣港発の船で12時に西表島に到着し、滞在先のホテルに荷物を預けて、チェックインまでの3時間を有効活用しようとツアーに申し込みました。
13時スタート半日コースで約3時間楽しめました。

ガイドの方の説明もとても丁寧で、初心者でも安心して楽しめました。
西表島に来たらぜひ体験してほしい、おすすめのツアーです。

From the very first meeting, the smiles of the staff welcomed us, putting the participants at ease. We were able to enjoy canoeing on the water while being complimented on our skills, which made the experience even more enjoyable. During the mountain trek, the staff communicated about difficult and dangerous areas in a way that allowed participants to share and feel a sense of unity. Thanks to this, everyone was able to have fun playing in the water at the destination's waterfall. On the way back, we were able to observe the unique flora and fauna of Iriomote Island at just the right moments, thanks to the guidance provided. I also appreciate the care shown towards our group, which was the most vulnerable during the journey.

初対面からスタッフ皆さんの笑顔での出迎えで参加者の心が和みました。
水面でそカヌー操作でも上手く褒められつつ楽しく前に進めることが出来ました。
山行でも難しいところ危険なところを伝言形式で伝え参加者が共有でき一体感をつくる気遣いを感じました。
おかげさまで目的地の滝つぼでは水遊び等皆が楽しむことが出来ました。
帰路では西表島固有のの動植物が見かけられるタイミングでお伝え戴き観察することが出来ました。
また道中一番危なっかしい当方グループに気を遣って戴き感謝します。
