On the third day of our Ishigaki trip, we had an experience with the Iriomote Nature School. When we saw the destination, the Pinaisara Falls, from the starting point, we were a bit surprised, thinking, "Wait, we have to go all the way there?!" But once we started, it turned out to be quite fun.

We were on a private family tour, but we ended up merging with a group tour along the way. By the time we reached the trekking starting point after getting off the canoe, there were canoes everywhere! It seemed like the people who had already arrived were heading towards the falls, so we got ready to start as well.

After a challenging 15 to 20-minute trek, we finally reached the base of the falls. Seeing the breathtaking view of the waterfall made us forget the fatigue from the sweaty walk, and we dove into the pool below. It was incredibly fun!

We then retraced our steps back and took the canoe to return. Our guide, Mr. Iwamoto, was quite natural and knowledgeable, providing detailed explanations about the mangroves along the way, as well as information about the lizards and flowers we encountered during the trek. It was a fantastic tour.

After returning to the office, we were treated to a complimentary drink of shikuwasa juice or blue Hawaii shaved ice. Since it was around lunchtime, we ordered Yaeyama soba, and the clear soup version of Yaeyama soba here was exquisite! I would love to join this tour again if I have the chance.

石垣旅行の３日目に体験☀️
今回、西表自然学校さんにお世話になりました。
スタート地点から目的のピナイサーラの滝を見たときは、えっ？あそこまで行くの！と少しビックリ‼️
でもスタートするとこれが案外面白い(^-^)
私たちは家族だけのツアーでしたが、途中団体ツアーさんとも合流状態となり、カヌーを降りてトレッキングスタート地点ではもうカヌーだらけ！
到着していた人達はすでに滝に向かってるようで私達もいざスタート！
なかなか険しい道のりを進むこと15分か20分いくと滝壺に到着。滝の絶景を目の当たりにすると、汗だくで歩いてきた疲れも忘れ、滝壺にダイブ
これが最高に楽しかった
またきた道のりを戻り、カヌーに乗って戻るというツアーでした。
担当してくださったイワモトさんも天然そうな人でしたが、とても詳しくガイドをしてくださり、
道中のマングローブの説明、トレッキング途中のトカゲや花などの説明もしっかりしてくださり、とても良いツアーでした。
その後、事務所に戻るとサービスでシークワーサージュースかブルーハワイのかき氷まで頂きました。
ちょっどお昼だったこともあり、こちらではカフェもしておられたので八重山そばを注文しましたが、こちらの透明のスープの八重山そばが絶品‼️
また機会があればツアー参加したいと思います。

I have visited various islands in Okinawa, but this was my first time on Iriomote Island. This time, I participated with my daughter, and it was an extremely satisfying experience! The staff were efficient and pleasant, and I believe everyone had a very high awareness of safety through their excellent schedule management skills and broad perspective. The Pinay Sara Falls are truly amazing, and the guide was kind, making it an unforgettable trip! I was worried since I brought small children, but there were no problems at all. I would love to participate again if I have the chance!

We participated as a family of three (with a 9-year-old son) and had a truly wonderful time.

I did the "Night Kayak" ten years ago when I visited Iriomote Island, and I couldn't forget the breathtaking starry sky I saw then. I had always wanted to do it again, and this time, I was overjoyed to be able to share it with my grown son.

We set off before it got dark, and it was a luxurious experience to savor the passage of time as each star appeared one by one.

The guide's explanations about the mangroves and constellations were also great.

We were able to enjoy the darkness and tranquility that you can't experience in the city.

The sounds of owls, the shadows of bats flying right in front of us, and the sparkling light of the bioluminescent plankton were all impressive.

家族3人（子供は9歳男子）で参加し、大変すばらしい時間を過ごせました。

「ナイトカヤック」は10年前に西表島に来たときにして、そのときに見た星空の感動が忘れられず、是非またと思っていましたが、今回は大きくなった息子と一緒にできて感無量です。

暗くなる前に出発し、一つ一つ星が現れてくる時間の経過を味わえる贅沢な時間でした。

ガイドさんのマングローブや星座の解説も良かったです。

都会では味わえない暗闇と静けさを堪能できました。

フクロウの鳴き声や目の前を飛ぶ蝙蝠の影、夜光虫のきらきらした光が印象的でした。

I chose the "Canoeing & Trekking + Snorkeling" indulgent course.

Canoeing is a very effective attraction for the trip and enhances the sense of unreality.

The trekking from there was harder than I imagined, but the excitement when I finally reached the Pinai Sara Falls was overwhelming!

This alone was enough to satisfy me, but we also headed out to the sea to land on Baras Island.

I was super impressed by the coral reefs all around and the incredibly beautiful sea!

During snorkeling, I was surrounded by many fish, and surprisingly... three sea turtles also showed up!

We were blessed with great weather, and I enjoyed it to the fullest, saying "I couldn't ask for more!"

It's also a nice service that the guide provided free photos they took!

「カヌー&トレッキング＋シュノーケリング」の欲張りコースを選びました。

カヌー漕ぎは旅のアトラクションとしてとても有効的で非現実感を増強してくれます。

そこからのトレッキングは想像以上にハードでしたが、ピナイサーラの滝ヘたどり着いた時の感動はひとしおです！

これだけで十分に満足デキますが、さらに海へ出てバラス島上陸。

辺り一面の珊瑚礁と、あまりにキレイ過ぎる海に超感激！

シュノーケリングでは沢山のお魚たちに囲まれ、しかも･･･なんとウミガメさんも登場！
(しかも３匹)

お天気にも恵まれ、"もうこれ以上ナイ！"ってぐらい楽しめました！

ガイドさんが撮影してくれた写真も無料で提供してくれるのも嬉しいサービスですネ♪

It was amazing to have various experiences while enjoying the breathtaking views. The instructor's explanations were humorous and very entertaining. I felt safe and was able to enjoy myself without worry.

絶景を見ながら色々な体験ができ、最高でした。インストラクターの方の解説がユーモアがあってとても面白く楽しめました。安全にも配慮されていて安心して楽しめました。

There were 10 people who applied at the same time, but there was only one guide, so we couldn't fit everyone in the car for the round trip to the river at once, resulting in a shuttle transport. Due to the time constraints, the service felt rushed and careless. I was squeezed in the back row of the three-seat bench with a large man who had fallen into the river and was wet, which was uncomfortable. The seat next to the driver was left empty to secure my own space, showing a lack of consideration for the guests. The driving was rough, making it dangerous and unpleasant.

The morning course was advertised as including explanations and rental shoes, but there was no mention of rental shoes, and the explanations about the Nakagawa River were only given to people nearby.

There were some kind aspects, such as taking photos of us while we were kayaking. I think the guide was still young and inexperienced, but since this is a customer service industry, I hope improvements can be made.

同じ時間帯に10人が申込んでいたが、ガイドは1人のため、集合場所から川の往復が車に一度で乗り切れずピストン輸送になり、時間不足で対応も雑な感じだった。3列シートの後ろの列に、川に落ちて濡れている体格の大きな男性と3人でぎゅうぎゅう詰めで載せられ辛かった。運転席の隣は空けて自分のスペースを確保しており、客への配慮が欠けている。車の運転も荒く、危なくて不快。
午前中のコースは解説付きでレンタルシューズ付と書かれていたが、レンタルシューズの話もなく、仲間川の解説も近くの人にしかしていない。
カヤックに乗っている写真を撮ってくれるなど親切な部分もあった。
まだ若いガイドだったので未熟だと思うが、客商売なので改善して貰いたい

After the daytime mangroves and Pinai Sara Falls, we participated in a stargazing session led by a professional, which was breathtaking and created unforgettable memories.

While enjoying the lovely twilight, we headed out for a night canoe trip. Unlike during the day, the calm waves allowed us to move slowly, and as we glided through the mangroves in silence, we experienced nature up close with many bats flying nearby.

As we returned from the mangroves, stars began to appear one by one, and before we knew it, the sky was filled with countless stars. Additionally, bioluminescent plankton started to show up near the canoe, allowing us to enjoy a wonderful night.

We even received lovely souvenirs, making our unforgettable memories of Iriomote Island even more special! I highly recommend this for family trips as well as for couples!

昼のマングローブとピナイサーラの滝に続いて参加。プロが解説する星空は圧巻で、忘れられない思い出でした。
素敵なトワイライト時間を楽しみつつ、ナイトカヌーへ。。。
昼間と違い静かな波のためゆっくりと進むことができ、静寂の中マングローブを進んでいくと近くをたくさんのこうもりが飛んできて自然を体感出来ました。

マングローブから戻るとぽつぽつと星が現れ始め、気付くとあたり一面は満天の星空に。。。そして、カヌーの近くには夜光虫が現れ始め、素敵な夜を過ごすことが出来ました。

素敵なお土産までいただき、忘れられない西表島も思い出になりました！
家族旅行はもちろん、カップルにもお勧めです！

The trekking and canoeing were both authentic experiences, and I had a very fulfilling time. It was my first time, but the thorough explanations made me feel comfortable participating. We were able to take breaks along the way, so I enjoyed listening to the explanations at a relaxed pace.

There were also families with small children, so I can recommend this to a variety of people! You can take a shower, and the attached café looks delicious, so after finishing in the morning, you can have a meal before joining the next activity. It's within walking distance to Uehara Port, so I think you can have a great time even on a day trip!

This was definitely a tour shop I would like to use again.

トレッキングもカヌーも本格的で、とても充実した時間を過ごすことが出来ました。初めてでしたが、丁寧な説明で安心して参加することができました。
途中途中で休憩もはさんでいただけるので、ゆっくり説明を聞きながら楽しめました＾＾
小さなお子様連れの方もいたので、いろいろな方にお勧めできます！
シャワーも浴びれますが、併設のカフェも美味しそうなので、午前中終了後にご飯を食べて次のアクティビティに参加できます。上原港へも歩いていける距離なので、日帰り訪問でも十分楽しめると思います！！

I created unforgettable memories with beautiful sunsets, canoeing in complete darkness, and seeing creatures and magical scenery that can only be experienced at night!

Thanks to the new moon in midsummer and the favorable weather, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations.

My child is in elementary school, and all three of us were beginners at canoeing, but there was a thorough briefing at the beginning, so we had no problems.

綺麗なサンセットや、真っ暗な中で漕ぐカヌー、夜にしか見られない生き物や幻想的な景色を見られて忘れられない思い出が出来ました！

真夏の新月でお天気に恵まれた事もあり、参加前に期待していた以上の体験でした。

子供は小学生で、親子3人共カヌー初心者でしたが最初に丁寧な講習があり問題ありませんでした。

The snorkeling in the morning, lunch, and the canoeing and trekking course in the afternoon were a great way to enjoy the charms of Iriomote Island in a day!
Entering the sea, paddling the canoe, and walking provided good exercise, and I felt pleasantly tired and had a lot of fun!
The guide was kind, and it was nice to have good communication with the other participants in the tour!
Everyone else was experienced, and we were the only ones in short sleeves and shorts, but I think if you want to avoid sunburn, a rash guard is essential since sunscreen washes off quickly in the sea and sweat!

午前中にシュノーケリング、昼食を取って午後にカヌーとトレッキングのコースは西表島の魅力を日帰りで楽しめるコースでした！
海に入って、カヌーを漕いで、歩いて、いい運動でほどよく疲れてとても楽しかったです！
ガイドのお兄さんも優しく、ツアーに参加してる他の方とも程よくコミュニケーションが取れたのも良かったです！
みなさん慣れている方で、半袖半ズボンは私たちくらいでしたが笑、日焼け止めを塗っても海や汗ですぐ落ちてしまうので日焼けが嫌な方はラッシュガードが必須だと思います！

The World Heritage island offers an experience of the wonders of nature that is different from everyday life. Even a half-day of kayaking and trekking guarantees 100% satisfaction!! It's a highly recommended plan that can be enjoyed alone◎ I would like to request a full-day course next time.

I experienced it in the height of summer. The intense sunlight from the sky and the sparkling reflections from the river and sea. Sunscreen measures are important.

夏真っ盛りに体験しました。
空からの強烈な日差し。川や海からのキラキラした照り返し。日焼け止め対策は重要です。

I was able to fully enjoy the various natural wonders of Iriomote Island in one tour, including a SUP experience in the mangroves, trekking at Kura Falls, and snorkeling. Thanks to the explanations and natural responses from our instructor, Kengo, I was able to participate in the tour with great enjoyment. If I have the opportunity to come back to Iriomote Island, I would definitely like to sign up for the night tour that you recommended. Thank you for the wonderful time.

マングローブでのsup体験、クーラの滝でのトレッキング、シュノーケリングと、一回のツアーで西表島の様々な自然を満喫することが出来ました。

We participated with our 3-year-old child. On the day of the tour, we had concerns about our child's health, so we opted out of the trekking, and the staff accommodated us accordingly. Throughout the tour, they were attentive to our child's condition and mood, ensuring we could enjoy the experience without any pressure. Thanks to their care, our child, who was initially a bit reluctant about canoeing, ended up smiling and having a great time in the latter half, even bonding with the guide, which was wonderful.

The Okinawa soba we had for lunch was homemade by the guide and was even tastier than the restaurant we had eaten at the day before the tour.

They also took many photos, and it was great that the data was included in the tour price. Since we couldn't do the trekking this time, I definitely want to request it again when we have a chance for a rematch.

3歳の子連れで参加しました。当日子供の体調に不安があり、今回は私たち家族のみの参加だったため、トレッキングを省略するという形で対応していただきました。ツアー中も子供の体調や機嫌を気にかけてくださり、無理なく楽しめるよう配慮していただきました。おかげで、最初はカヌーを若干嫌がっていた子供も、後半はニコニコして元気に楽しめていて、ガイドさんにもなついていて良かったです。
お昼にいただいたソーキそばはガイドさんのお手製で、私たちがツアーの前日に食べたお店の味よりも美味しかったです。
写真もたくさん撮っていただき、そのデータもツアー代に含まれているのがありがたかったです。
今回トレッキングはできなかったので、リベンジする際は是非またお願いしたいと思います。

Everything was a new experience, but it was fun.
The scenery was indeed amazing.

I was warned that the sunlight could be intense, so I took my own measures against it, but I underestimated it.
Of course, wearing a hat is a must, but wearing shorts is risky.

I think it's better to have gloves if you're going kayaking.

A waterproof case for your phone is definitely a good idea. I regretted not buying one.

Also, I didn't bring a change of clothes (there might have been a warning about this), and it was a hassle, so a change of clothes is essential.

If I get the chance to go to Iriomote Island again, I would definitely like to participate once more.

I participated in a half-day tour to Pinaí Sara Falls by kayak. Kayaking through the mangroves was pleasant, and we got off the kayak to trek to Pinaí Sara Falls. The falls were even more amazing than I had imagined, and swimming in the pool was incredibly refreshing. The guide's service was excellent, and it truly became a wonderful memory.

カヤックでピナいサーラの滝半日ツアーに参加しました。マングローブの中をカヤックは気持ち良くカヤックを降りてトレッキングでピナいサーラの滝へ行きました。ピナいサーラの滝は想像以上に素晴らしく滝壺で泳ぐと超気持ち良かったです。ガイドさんの対応も素晴らしく本当に良い想い出になりました。

We participated as a family of three on our first trip to Iriomote Island and Yufu Island. It had been since my student days that I last used a canoe, but they provided a thorough lecture on how to use the paddle, and I gradually got the hang of it while enjoying the scenery. (I did crash into the mangroves a couple of times, though…) The Pinaisara Falls were truly amazing! Jumping into the plunge pool was exhilarating. Since our group had the place to ourselves during the second half, we were able to experience nature even more. Listening to the guide's detailed stories about the islands made the trekking feel less strenuous, and I really had a great time. In the afternoon, we had a plan to visit Yufu Island, so I was very satisfied to enjoy two islands!

カヌーは学生の頃以来でしたがパドルの使い方もしっかりレクチャーしてくださり徐々に慣れて景色も楽しめました。（2回程マングローブに突進してしまいましたが…）
ピナイサーラの滝は本当に最高！滝壺に飛び込んで爽快でした。
タイミングで後半私たちのグループで貸切になったのもありより自然を体験できました♪
ガイドさんの詳しい島の話などを聞きながらだったのでトレッキングもきついと感じず本当に楽しかったです。
午後は由布島に行くプランで島を２つも楽しめて大満足でした！

In the morning, we explored caves, crawling through three pitch-dark caves, which was quite an adventurous experience. After enjoying rice balls for lunch, we headed to Pinai Sara Falls in the afternoon. We traveled for 40 minutes in a canoe that absolutely wouldn't tip over, followed by a 30-minute trek to reach the falls. The water at the base of the waterfall felt incredibly refreshing. Along the way, it was nice to hear various stories about the nature of Iriomote Island while we leisurely made our way.

午前中は洞窟探検、３か所の真っ暗な洞窟を腰をかがめながら潜り抜け探検感十分。昼食でおにぎりをいただいた後午後はピナイサーラサーラの滝へ。絶対ひっくり返らないカヌーで４０分、トレッキング３０分で到着。滝つぼの中はととぇも気持ちよかったです。途中、西表についての自然についての話をいろいろ聞きながらゆっくりすぅすめて頂いたのもよかったです。

I longed for the subtropical jungle, so I participated with my daughter in her late 20s, who usually doesn't exercise, and my mother in her 50s. Thanks to the pace being adjusted to our fitness levels, we were able to enjoy ourselves energetically until the end. ☺️

Listening to the sounds of nature and leisurely canoeing towards the waterfall while enjoying the scenery felt wonderful. After sweating from trekking, we swam in the waterfall pool and had a delicious lunch!

I was able to learn a lot about the creatures and plants, and I'm really glad I asked Komorebito Trip for help. I would like to request guidance on a different route the next time I visit Iriomote Island!!

亜熱帯のジャングルに憧れて、日頃の運動しない派の20代後半の娘と、50代の母の2人で参加しました。体力に合わせてペースを調整してもらったおかげで、最後まで元気に楽しめました☺️

自然の音に耳を傾け、景色を楽しみながらカヌーでゆったりと滝に向かうのはとても気持ちが良かったです。トレッキングで汗をかいた後に滝壺で泳ぎ、美味しいお昼ご飯をいただきました！

生き物、植物について沢山知ることができて、コモレビトリップさんにお願いして本当によかったです。また西表島に行く際には、違うルートの案内をお願いしたいです！！

The guide's stories were so interesting that time flew by! The night breeze felt nice, so I think it was more comfortable than the daytime kayaking. I definitely want to use this service again if I have the chance!

We participated with our elementary school-aged child and family. The tracking to the waterfall, the limestone cave, and the nature of Iriomote Island were very enjoyable! However, the guide's response did not suit our family. While the guide was very friendly and nice, when our child greeted other tour participants on the way back from the trekking and added, "Just a little more to go," the guide criticized our child, saying things like "not reading the atmosphere" and "taking away the guide's sense of fulfillment." Although it was said in a joking tone, our child seemed genuinely shocked and came home with tears, saying they never want to participate in a tour again. I do think our child might have said something that could be considered a spoiler, but it created an unpleasant memory on what was supposed to be a wonderful trip.

滝壺までのトラッキング、鍾乳洞と西表島の自然はとても楽しめました！
ただガイドの方の対応が我が家には合いませんでした。とてもフレンドリーでいい方ではあったのですが、トレッキングの帰り道で他のツアーの方々とすれ違うときに、子供が挨拶に加え「あともう少しですよ」と声をかけてしまったことに対し、ガイドの方が「空気読めない」「ガイドのやり甲斐を奪う行為」等々、子供相手に非難をされました。冗談のような口調でしたが、子供は本当にショックを受けたようでもう二度とツアーに参加したくないと帰ってきてから涙を溜めて言っていました。確かにネタバレ的な事を言ってしまったのかと思いますが、せっかくの旅で嫌な思い出を作ってしまいました。

I was really worried about participating alone as a 60-year-old woman, but it turned out to be the best experience that blew away all my anxieties. I had some help with the canoe, which was a two-person ride, but both the canoeing and trekking were at a perfect distance, and the chance to bathe in the waterfall was a reward.

The cave exploration started with entering through a very narrow entrance, and I was already filled with excitement! Walking through the pitch-black cave relying on a small light was an experience far removed from everyday life.

I was able to learn about the wonderful nature of Iriomote Island. Thank you for taking so many beautiful photos!

私、60歳女性一人での参加で大丈夫だろうか‥？と、とても不安でしたが、そんな不安も吹き飛ぶほど最高の体験でした。カヌーは、二人乗りで手伝ってもらってしまいましたが、カヌーもトレッキングも程良い距離で、滝での水浴びがご褒美です。
洞窟探検はめっちゃ狭い入口を入って行くところから、もうワクワクしかありません！真っ暗な洞窟の中を小さなライトを頼りに歩いて行くのは、日常からは掛け離れた体験です。
西表島の自然の素晴らしさを知る事ができました。

On my second visit to Iriomote Island, I was finally able to land on Barasu Island, which I had longed to visit. However, I received a notice the day before that the cave experience was canceled due to not enough participants, and it was replaced with snorkeling, which my partner was disappointed about (but I was lucky because I actually wanted to go snorkeling, haha). We were able to see three sea turtles, and thanks to our guide Matsuko-san's attentive guidance, we had a fun day. I would give it five stars, but since it was different from my initial booking, I will give it four stars. Overall, I was very satisfied with the tour.

西表島２回目にして、念願のバラス島に上陸することが出来ました。ただ前日に鍾乳洞体験が人数が集まらない為、中止との連絡が来て、シュノーケリングに代替になり、相方が残念がっていました(実は自分はシュノーケリングしたかったのでラッキー笑)しかしウミガメも３頭も見れたし、ガイドのまつ子さんの丁寧な案内で楽しく一日過ごすことができました。私としては星５つですが、やはり最初の申し込みとは変更になってしまったので星４つとさせていただきます。ツアーとしては大満足でした。

A 63-year-old woman traveling alone. This was my third time canoeing. Since it's a single kayak, I could go at my own pace and relax. The river is wide, offering magnificent views and the sounds of birds and cicadas, making it the perfect forest bathing experience.

I thought trekking for 40 minutes would be tough, but the guide made it enjoyable with explanations and photos, so it was fine.

Seeing the waterfall for the first time was incredibly moving. The water was cold, but my goal was to jump into the plunge pool, and it was the best experience.

The return canoe ride was also fun with everyone chatting and laughing. Thank you to the guide!

63歳ババ1人旅。カヌーは3回目。1人乗りだから自分のペースでのんびり。川幅が広いから雄大な景色と鳥やせみの声で最高の森林浴。

トレッキングは40分で大変かなと思ったけどガイドさんが説明や写真などで楽しみながらだったから大丈夫でした。

初めて滝を見て大感動。水は冷たいけど目標は滝壺ジャンプだったから最高でした。

帰りのカヌーもみんなでワイワイで楽しかったです。ガイドさんありがとうございました

Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our visit, so we couldn't see a perfect starry sky, but it was a wonderful experience to relax while floating on the river and watching the sky darken. If you bring your belongings, you'll end up getting on the boat with them, and they might get wet, so it's better to go without any bags. The guide took many more beautiful photos than I expected.

あいにく当日は曇りで満点の星空とはいきませんでしたが、空が暗くなっていく様子を河に浮かびながらゆっくり過ごせたのはとても良い体験でした。
荷物を持って行ったらそのままボートに乗ることになってしまって荷物が濡れたので、手ぶらで行かれた方がいいです。
ガイドのおじさんが思った以上に素敵な写真をたくさん撮ってくださいました。
