The trip from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island took longer than I expected at 50 minutes, but it was a day tour worth the time! I was able to enjoy the mangroves, limestone caves, and even land on Barasu Island all day long, and the guide shared various stories about the flora and fauna as well as the island itself.

I impulsively made the reservation just by looking at the title, so I thought I could check for snorkeling on-site, but it seems I needed to select it at the time of booking. For those making reservations in the future, please be careful about this. It was disappointing that there was no snorkeling, but now I have a reason to visit Iriomote Island again, and next time I want to join a tour for snorkeling!

石垣島から西表島まで片道50分と思ったよりも長旅でしたが、それだけの時間を掛けて訪れる価値のある一日ツアーでした！マングローブや、鍾乳洞、そしてバラス島上陸まで、一日中楽しむことができ、ガイドの方が動植物の説明から、島の話まで色々なお話をかけました。
タイトルだけをみて勢いで予約してしまったので、シュノーケリングの有無は現地確認かと思っていたのですが、予約時点で選択しないといけなかったようです。これから予約される方はご注意ください。シュノーケリングがなかったのは残念でしたが、また西表島に行く理由ができたので、次はシュノーケリングしにツアーに参加したいとおもいます！

On this day, due to the influence of the waves, we went snorkeling at Barasu Island in the morning, followed by mangrove canoeing and trekking to a waterfall in the afternoon.
At Barasu Island, since it wasn't low tide in the morning, the coral island didn't appear, but we could stand, and the sea was beautiful both from the outside and inside, with plenty of fish, making it feel like we were in an aquarium (^ ^).
In the afternoon, we enjoyed mangrove canoeing and trekking. This was my first visit to Iriomote Island, and my first experience canoeing and trekking in the mangroves. It was a lot of fun, and our guide, Tomo-kun, took many photos and provided clear explanations about the plants and creatures in the mangroves, which made the experience even more enjoyable (^ - ^).
He also sent the photos via LINE right away, so we could see them immediately after the tour, which was great!

この日は、波の影響などで、午前はバラス島シュノーケリング、午後はマングローブカヌー、滝へのトレッキングをしました。
バラス島では、午前で干潮では無かったので珊瑚の島は出ませんでしたが、立つ事はでき、外からも中からもとても海が綺麗で、お魚も沢山いて、まるで水族館に居るようでした(^ ^)

今回、西表島には初めて伺い、初めてマングローブでカヌー、トレッキングをしましたが、とても楽しく、ガイドのともくんがマングローブでも沢山の写真や、植物や生き物の説明もわかりやすく説明してくださり、より、マングローブを楽しめました(^-^)
写真もすぐLINEで送って下さり、ツアー後すぐ見ることが出来たので良かったです！

I went during Silver Week! Even though it was a busy time, the small group size allowed us to experience everything without worry. We got to see mangroves while paddleboarding, took photos at a cool waterfall, and enjoyed the flowers and fish—overall, it was so healing!! The snorkeling was amazing too; the sea was beautiful and clear, and just swimming around was incredibly satisfying!!! In the end, I saw a sea snake, which surprised me and made me stumble, but it was definitely the most shocking moment and unforgettable.

シルバーウィークのときに行きました！
こんな時期ですが、少人数制で心配せずに体験ができました。
SUPをしながらマングローブをみたり、クーラーの滝で写真撮ってくれたり、お花やお魚みたり、とにかく癒されました！！
シュノーケルも海がまず綺麗で透明感あって、泳いでるだけで大満足！！！
最後に海蛇見れて、驚いて足つっちゃったけど、なんだかんだ一番の衝撃で忘れられない。

In the morning, I tried "canoeing" for the first time, and the guide kindly taught me how to paddle, so I was able to do it without any difficulty!

In the afternoon, we had a "cave exploration" and "landed on Barasu Island." Especially since we were blessed with good weather, the time spent on "Barasu Island" was absolutely wonderful. I can't even express it in words (´；ω；`)!

Since this was the day after the full moon, it seems that the stars become harder to see after moonrise, so we had a creature tour after the stargazing tour. They were flexible in adapting to the weather and conditions of the day, and I could really feel their commitment to ensuring that participants were satisfied, even in the unpredictable nature.

The guide who led our tour had professional-level photography skills, and I felt like I got extra value beyond just the tour itself! Their knowledge was extensive, making it enjoyable for both children and adults!

I learned that they offer various tours, not just the night tour, so I definitely want to take part in other tours as well!

Next, the cave tour allows you to connect with nature in ways that far exceed your imagination! However, the course is rugged, so if you want to avoid scrapes from branches and rocks, I recommend minimizing skin exposure.

In the afternoon, we had a landing tour on Barasu Island, where you can take beautiful photos with the stunning sea!

This time, I joined the tour for a day, but I am grateful to our guide, Connie, for letting us fully enjoy the charm of Iriomote Island! Thank you!!! I used the night kayak service. I had some concerns about the weather and reached out, but they quickly checked and got back to me. Although it was cloudy, I enjoyed kayaking slowly while watching the sunset, listening to explanations about the stars, and moving through the mangroves while hearing the sounds of owls. It was truly a unique experience that I wouldn't normally have, and I had a lot of fun. I learned many new things and had a fulfilling time.

ナイトカヤックを利用させてもらいました。天気に不安があり連絡しましたが、すぐに調べて連絡いただけました。曇り空でしたが、夕暮れから日が落ちていくところをゆっくり眺めながら、のんびりカヤックを楽しみ、星の説明を聞かせてもらったり、フクロウの声を聞きながらマングローブの中を進んだりと、ほんといつも経験できないことを経験でき本当に楽しかったです。知らないこともたくさん教えてもらい、充実した時間を過ごさせてもらいました。

Although I couldn't land on Barasu Island due to the passing typhoon, I thoroughly enjoyed the packed itinerary with a mangrove cruise on a stand-up paddleboard, trekking to Kura Falls, and a cave tour.

The cave experience was particularly impressive, as we entered a natural cave without any established paths or lighting, wearing helmets and headlamps. It truly felt like a unique experience that can only be had in Iriomote Island.

I also appreciated that we were able to take many photos. If I have the chance to come back, I will definitely try to land on Barasu Island. Thank you very much.

台風一過ということでバラス島上陸は叶いませんでしたが、SUPでのマングローブクルーズ、クーラの滝までのトレッキングと鍾乳洞ツアーと盛りだくさんでしっかり楽しめました。
特に鍾乳洞は足場も明かりも整備されていない自然のままの洞窟に、ヘルメットとヘッドランプをつけて潜入するというとても本格的なものでした。まさに西表島でしかできない体験の詰め合わせという感じでした。

My first trip to Ishigaki Island during my last summer vacation in college turned out to be an amazing experience thanks to this tour! At first, I was a bit nervous since the other participants were all men around my age, but our guide, Connie, was very friendly and made it easy for everyone to bond as if we had been friends from the start!

During the tour, we had a great time exploring Iriomote Island while canoeing and trekking, with detailed explanations about the plants and wildlife. We all jumped into the waterfall for photos and took pictures together on Barasu Island; it was a tour that everyone, including the guide, enjoyed!

When it comes to sightseeing in Iriomote Island, many people might hesitate between signing up for a tour or exploring freely. I was quite unsure as well, but I found planning everything myself to be a hassle, so I decided to join this tour. The result was a great success.

To fully enjoy the vast nature of Iriomote Island, the support of a tour company is essential. To circle around the mangroves, you need either a SUP or a canoe, and to land on Barasu Island, a dedicated boat is required. By signing up for this tour, you can have all the equipment arranged for various activities.

Additionally, I could feel the professionalism of the tour guide. I was able to hear fascinating stories about the rare creatures and plants that inhabit Iriomote Island, as well as how various natural phenomena occur. The consideration for fostering camaraderie among participants was also excellent, naturally enhancing conversations throughout the tour.

During lunch, there is about 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time. After being introduced to various diners and cafes on Iriomote Island, we could have lunch on our own. We ate Yaeyama soba (a type of Okinawa soba?) at a local diner frequented by residents of Iriomote Island, and then enjoyed coffee jelly at a café.

You can experience activities that will become lifelong memories three times in one tour. If you plan to visit Iriomote Island, I highly recommend signing up for this tour. The clientele is diverse, and I think groups of university students, couples, and families can all enjoy it.

I have been to Okinawa many times, but I had never been to Iriomote Island. It had been about 20 years since I last swam in the ocean, so I was a little anxious, but the lively talk from our guide, Icchi, eased my worries and I had a great time. I was able to see a rare large sea turtle up close, within a distance where I could almost touch it, and I appreciated the beauty of the coral in the ocean. After that, I had an interesting experience floating a bit in a cold waterfall during the mangrove tour. I really want to go back again.

Iriomote Island was more of a jungle than I imagined, to the point where I felt a bit of danger! However, each activity was so much fun that it became a lifelong memory. I went stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and snorkeling at Panari Island. It was my first experience with SUP, but they explained everything clearly and patiently, which made me feel at ease and enjoy it! I was able to swim at two snorkeling spots and had a great time! It was much better than I had imagined! Canoeing while enjoying unique scenery made the time fly by. The tracking allowed us to enjoy the jungle just enough, and I’ve seen many waterfalls before, but it was my first time experiencing such power while entering the basin of the waterfall. I signed up for this tour because I really wanted to see the coral reef. I arrived by ferry, feeling excited, and a lovely young lady came to greet us. Once we started, she was surprisingly powerful, effortlessly carrying our lunch and large bags through the forest, which I really admired. I wanted to keep up and felt like I was in a movie as we ventured into the jungle. After passing through a thrilling mountain, we were greeted by a magnificent waterfall! It was my first time swimming in a waterfall basin, and it was amazing! We enjoyed delicious rice balls.

Next was the sea. The captain was really cool, and the underwater scenery was breathtaking, with stunning coral that was even more beautiful than I had imagined. Of course, the fish, including Nemo, and the sea turtles were adorable too. You really have to see it with your own eyes! I ended up signing up for this tour based on her idea. The high ratings for the tour content, along with the fact that it included canoeing and trekking, made it seem enjoyable even for outdoor beginners, which was the deciding factor for us.

It seemed that the meeting time on the day of the tour was at 9:30, but it was listed as 9:00 on Veltra, so we ended up calling Monsoon several times after we arrived at Uehara Port. In the midst of this, Monsoon was flexible and responsive, and our guide, Iizuka, came to pick us up at the port.

Our guide, Iizuka, looked like a nice young man from the Yaeyama Islands, but when I asked him, he turned out to be a friendly guy from Niigata City. It seems he has been living in Okinawa for three years, and during that time, he has become more like a local.

Looking back, the tour content was excellent. It was probably just a coincidence, but since there were only the two of us participating, there were moments when we could enjoy the mangrove kayaking and the Pinaisara Falls all to ourselves, which felt very liberating. Additionally, compared to my girlfriend, who is an outdoor enthusiast, I am more of an indoor person who does desk work at home, but I was able to fully enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island without it being physically demanding.

Overall, I am very satisfied! I want to come back and play again!

彼女のアイデアで本ツアーに申し込むことになりました。ツアー内容の評価が高く、カヌー＋トレッキングと、アウトドア初心者でも気軽に楽しめそうだった点がツアーの決め手でした。

当日集合時間が9：30のようだったみたいでしたが、veltra上では9：00となっていたため、我々が上原港に到着してからモンスーンさんに何度かお電話をしてしまいました。
そうこうしていると、モンスーンさんが臨機応変に対応してくださり、ガイドの飯塚さんが港まで迎えに来てくださいました。

ガイドの飯塚さんは見た目八重山出身の好青年でしたが、聞いてみると内地(新潟市)出身の気さくな方でした。沖縄に移住されてから3年経つようで、その間二重になって沖縄の方っぽくなったみたいです。

振り返ってみると、ツアー内容は最高でした。
たまたまだったとは思いますが、参加者が我々2人だったので所々、マングローブカヤックや、ピナイサーラの滝を独り占めできた瞬間もあり、とても開放的でした。
また、アウトドア派な私の彼女に比べ、家でデスクワークばかりの私のようなインドア派な人間でも、体力的にキツくなく西表島の自然を満喫することができました。

総じて大満足です！また遊びに、来たいです！
