Amazing experience!

Reviewed by: Alexander, 2018/05/26

Really enjoyed the experience, it was amazing and very surprising as we did not know what to expect. Never seen anything like this before, it was a very new concept and extremely entertaining. It would be great to see a show like this again, with a different story and with new surprises.

Amazing performance!

Reviewed by: Mave, 2018/05/19

Unfortunately at the time of writing this the show is already over. It was an unique show that I enjoyed more than the few Cirque De Soleil ones I've seen in the past.
If ever your are about to catch this amazing troupe (I understand they have performances all over the world inspired by the location) do yourself a favor and take all your friends.
And don't be shy!

This show keeps on surprising from start to finish. Especially the interactiveness of the show is very cool. In total a very 21st century experience, not comparable to anything you've seen before. Go as long as you can!

Awesomely chaotic

Reviewed by: Mel, 2018/04/25

Not usually a fan of shows, but this one was really good! My cousin was visiting from the UK and I decided to bring him to watch this show. I thought it would be geared more to foreign tourists with all the samurai and geisha gimicks. So having lived in Japan for more than 10 years, I found myself pleasantly surprised at how much I was enjoying it.

If I were to watch it again I'd make sure to:
- pack light or use the paid lockers to put my bag. There were times when I wished I didn't have a bulky bag with me so I could move around and be at the "good" spots.
- use a waterproof phone cover and keep it recording the whole time.
- go straight to the popular performers after the show to take pictures. Photo time was shorter than I expected.

One of the best shows we have ever seen

Reviewed by: Shell, 2018/04/19

My husband and I didn't have any coffee before the show, but as soon as we walked in we realized we didn't need any. The high energy and surprise after surprise kept us on our toes (literally) the entire time. It was a mystery, a theatrical performance, a Cirque du Soleil, and a dance party all in one.

This is an immersive experience and I would suggest trying to get as close to the center of the crowd as possible, you're in for some up close action that won't disappoint!

We're only sorry that this show will be running in Japan for a few more weeks, we hope it comes back!

Energetic, fun and unique!

Reviewed by: Zack, 2018/04/12

The experience was wonderful. Glad I found this online, it just lack of more publicity. I would say it is better than robot restaurant, because it gets the audience involved. You can touch, feel and dance with the performers!
You need to stand throughout the event (the atmosphere is like in a night club), but the fun never stops. You get to close-up with the performances, and yes you will get wet (if you party too hard and close).
My friend got pulled onto a stage and dance with the matsuri performers! She totally enjoyed it.
With the fusion of Japanese culture (samurai, geishas, matsuri, etc), this is one event to go to besides Robot Restaurant.
You can also take photos with them at the end of the event (which RR doesn't offer). Hence the memories of this event stays strong and vivid even after my trip.

The best show I've ever seen

Reviewed by: pipboy, 2018/04/05

I was lucky to find a video clip of WA! Show before I visit Tokyo. Without any hesitation, I bought two tickets on Veltra.com. My wife and I were shocked time and time again by the fantastic stage design, the unremitting excellent performances, and a great atmosphere created by the crowd and performers. I think the most successful of the show is innovative localization -- Japanese cultural elements is seamlessly linked to the spirit of Fuerza Bruta. Please trust me, when you first step into the theater, you’ll forget all of the videos that you’ve watched on YouTube. There are sure to be thrilled awaiting participants at the show!

Much better than expected!

Reviewed by: Jake , 2018/03/28

Tips :don't have any expectations and just go to experience it.

I had been to the robot show and other circus shows, but this is far beyond my expectations. I'd even say it's one of the best ones. Unlike most other shows, you would not be just an audience; you would also be one of participants and be part of the acts. They even choose some random attendees to join them at various stages so the experience would become even more unique if you were one of the lucky ones being able to see the from a totally different perspective (spoiler: from up high)

The scenes and actions are very creative, and the music is awesome. Highly recommend it.

Interactive & Fun Entertainment - Better Than a Club

Reviewed by: Kyochan, 2018/02/18

At first I was hesitant to attend, as our friend told us that the show was interactive and we may get wet. Both were true.

Overall the show was exciting and every scenario kept you guessing as to what was going to happen next. At every change of scene, the technicians guided the floor audience on where to go. At times they would put up ropes to designate where to stay away from. For those whom don't speak Japanese, fear not as hand signals were used to guide the floor audience on where to go.

The show did an amazing job blending Japanese tradition with moden Japan. Points in the show made you feel like a manga came to life. Action packed fun. People flying through the air. Others parts are artistic with traditional elements woven in. Then there was the Japanese dance party. Overall fun for everyone!

A few tips: come early to leave you stuff in the lockers; you'll need a 500 Yen. Bring extra clothes in case you get wet or just don't stand in the middle to the room. Stand closer to the stage. Floor seats are more than worth the price; I don't think the show can be fully experienced or viewed in the way intended if you sit in the balcony.

Outrageous Fun!

Reviewed by: Niz, 2018/02/18

My friend and I were visiting Tokyo for a couple of days, and attended this show. We weren't disappointed! It was thrilling, colourful, and so unexpected! There were a lot of performances, and they were all so different from one another. One great thing is that the show was really interactive with the guests. Also, the crew were really helpful in guiding all of the guests towards where the action was happening. Although it was a bit wild at times, it was all extremely safe for guests, and a lot of fun.
My advice for someone going to this event is to take advantage of the lockers provided to store your belongings like purses and jackets so that you can fully participate in the interactive parts of the show like jumping and dancing.
Overall, it was great fun and I would totally recommend it to others!

Fantastic!

Show Review: From the moment I entered the performance area my jaw was on the floor. The level of detail and the quality of the performance was top notch. The show requires the audience to move around, crouch down, dance and even get a little wet so be sure to wear comfortable shoes (ladies I don't recommend heels) and maybe pack an extra shirt. I was lucky enough to be selected to "fly" with one of the dancers during a section of the show and was harnessed and hoisted above the crowd where I soared alongside amazing projection mapping designs. This show was amazing! I recommend this "wa" style show for both tourists and those living in Japan. You are sure to find it entertaining and worth your money!

Veltra Review: Buying tickets through Veltra was a terrific deal and I recommend this site to anyone! If I could offer one suggestion, it would be more payment options. Being able to use paypal, or a bank transfer for the payment would make it easier for people living in Japan.

Dancing, people flying from wires, a samurai bursting through a rain of paper, 'goldfish' swimming in a pool suspended from the ceiling and more dancing! Mesmerizing is the right word to describe this show.

360 degree stage!

Reviewed by: アリエル, 2017/12/09

I have been to the same show in new york city last year and loved it, so I was so excited to hear the news of the show coming to Japan.
I imagined that it would be the same performance, but it was totally a new show! It was designed to express the combination between Off Broadway style show and Japanese traditional cultures. There were the famous water tank from the ceiling, water splash, but there were also Samurai, dancing Maiko, Hannya, and Japanese drums, etc.
I enjoyed the surprises so much! Strongly recommended!!

The best show I've have ever seen!
I have watched several shows including Cirque de Solie, but if I were tired, I sometimes fell asleep.
But This show never let me sleep. The audience needs to move and dance and look around next show's stage.
It could be a club, could be a show, could be an entertainment.
It is up to you!!

The action is right there in front of your eyes, a controlled chaos with all the activities around you.

Definetely recommend the Standing tickets, you are standing and participating in the show, you feel what's ocurring and be part of the act.

Unequivocally a must go.

Gotta Experience It! Must-see show.

Reviewed by: ぽむこ, 2017/12/04

Fuerta Bruza will blow you away. High-energy and Great audience interaction. It's really unlike anything I've ever seen. It gives you a lot of surprises, with traditional elements of Japan's culture with a modern twist. I loved the samurai in armor is running on a conveyor belt in rain, smashing his way through the walls as they move toward him. It created memories that last.

The music, a mixture of dance music and Japanese traditional drum performance is really amazing, the special effects are fun.

Great fun for all ages. Wear comfortable shoes and get ready to move around!

My wife took me to the show as a unique experience, a show in Japan that you don't need Japanese, so we went to try.
The experience was great, a little clueless on what to do, as since the beginning you get to experience the show and a difference ambience. This is an interactive show, the artists and performers make you enjoy in real moment and make you experience the show right in front of you.
Definitely would love to check it again.

Very unique show!

Reviewed by: Beth, 2017/12/04

If you expect authentic "Wa (Japanese style)" show, this is not the one, but it's definitely an unique and fun show. The light, confetti, live music, dance, and water (you may get wet!) never bore you for the entire show. Flat shoes recommended unless you're in the 2nd floor seats. There are coin operated lockers at the venue, so leave your bags and coats in the lockers and have fun!!
