Due to the heavy snow, we were only able to reach station 1. And due to strong winds, our trip to Hakone was cancelled. But our guide, Noriko, made our tour enjoyable. We were taken to a cruise of an alternate lake and took a cable ride to a viewing area of Mt Fuji. I've been on tours around the world and I can honestly say that Noriko is one of the best tour guides out there. She keep us engaged throughout the tour giving us lessons in Japanese history and culture. We even learned how to make an origami of Mt Fuji!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour with Ryo. It is worth doing this tour because we learned about food from different parts of Japan and we went to small restaurants that serve amazing food that wouldn't know otherwise. Ryo was knowledgeable, polite, easy going and fu to be with. We really like him and the tour. Highly recommended, don't miss it!

Great tour

I had wanted to try this activity for a long time, and finally, I got to board the boat for the first time. The boat wasn't very large, but it was incredibly fast. However, it can get quite cold, so I recommend staying inside the boat until you enter the canal. The captain's commentary was lively, and I thoroughly enjoyed the views of Kawasaki's Mont Saint-Michel, Howl's Moving Castle, and the night scenery of Minato Mirai 21 from the sea. This is definitely a recommended activity!

以前から試してみたいアクティビティーでしたが念願かなって初乗船です。
あまり大きくない船でしたがスピード抜群、ただしけっこう寒いので運河の中に入るまでは船内でいるのがおすすめです。
船長さんのトークも軽快で川崎のモンサンミッシェルやハウルの城などや海からながめるミナトミライ２１の夜景など存分に楽しむことができるおすすめのアクティビティーです。

We had the Mt Fuji and Hakone tour and return via Shinkansen. Our guide Ms Yoko was very knowledgeable and was able to exceed our expectations.
The tour was managed very well and promptly.

Tour guide is very friendly and speaks english. Everything is nice only disappointment is reach up to station 4 at mount fuji but no snow. Otherwise would recommend others to join

This was our first time visiting Japan and this was a good way to start our vacation We boarded the sky bus at 3pm and found places we wanted to go back and explore the following day. The audio recording was helpful in giving suggestions of what is available to explore at each stop. The stop was easy to find when wanting to hop back on the bus.
We enjoyed the sky bus tour and the tickets worth worth the price. The entire family found it worth the price, even the teenagers. The tour was fun for the entire family. :) We will return to Japan to do more exploring.

This is a great way to get an overview of Tokyo and have the ability to get off and explore. We did two of the three lines and felt we had a better layout of Tokyo.
My teenagers even enjoyed it after hours of teasing me prior to arriving for our first ride. The hop on/hop off ability was very nice and the recommendations of why to get off and explore from the audio were helpful. . The stops were easy to find when you wanted to get onto the bus.
It is worth the price and we will ride the sky bus again when we are back in Tokyo. Thanks sky bus for showing us around Tokyo and areas to explore.

We're lucky that we visited Mt. Fuji on a day with clear skies and good weather! The tour was very good!! And the lunch was sumptuous! Tour guide was very good and kind. :)

They mentioned they would take to 5th station of mt. Fuji , but they finished at 2nd station! Other than this , it was really awesome , especially the guide was so informative and her English was good too.

Amazing views of the mount Fuji and Hakone, take it if you have a free day!

The captain and staff provided polite guidance and thoughtful attention, making our experience enjoyable. The outdoor seating was popular, but it was cold, so we chose to sit inside. Those outside were also able to borrow blankets. The indoor area was heated, and we could open the windows, allowing us to enjoy the impressive views from inside. It was also a great memory to go out onto the deck and see everything up close! I won't forget the Mont Saint-Michel in Kawasaki (*^^*)

船長さんとスタッフの方の丁寧な案内と細やかな気配りで気持ちよく楽しめました。外の席が人気でしたが、寒かったので私達は中の席へ。外の人もブランケットを貸してもらえていました。室内は暖房がかけられていて、窓を開けることもでき、中からでも充分迫力のある景色を楽しめました。船のデッキに出て間近で見せてもらえたのもいい思い出！川崎のモンサンミッシェル、忘れません(*^^*)

I saw the factory night view for the first time. It was really cold because it was winter, but they provided blankets, and the cold air was clear, allowing us to see beautiful scenery. The detailed explanations and the beautiful views lifted my spirits, and it didn't feel too cold after all!

工場夜景は初めてみました。
冬ということで気温はすごく冷たかったですが、毛布も用意してくださってましたし、寒くて空気が澄んで、逆に綺麗な景色が見れました。丁寧な説明と綺麗な景色でテンションが上がってあんまり寒くなかったですw

We had an excellent day tour to Mt Fuji and Hakone. Our tour guide Yoko San was informative and interesting and our skilled bus driver made the journey very smooth. It was a full day but felt very well paced. Everything ran on time and we saw so much - beautiful scenery and perfect conditions for viewing My Fuji and surrounds. We would highly recommend this tour.

Tour Guide is great

Tour was well organised but our stop points could have been much longer. The stop at Mt Hakone was very short especially for those who took the later gondola. By the time we reached the top, we had only barely 10 minutes to explore before the next scheduled gondola, as the bus will be leaving by then. It will also be good to cater halal lunch instead of vegetarian lunch for Muslim tourists. Thanks!

Saw beautiful golden maple leaves - remnants of Autumn. Trip was enjoyable as our guide was fluent in English which made communication a BIG plus

This is the first time we visited Tokyo with young children, we chose hop on hop off bus to get an overview of Tokyo. It's very easy for us to find their ticket office in Mitsubishi building, there are plenty of restaurants inside the building thus you can grab someting before boarding the bus. Bus arrival is super on time, clean and spacious. The route design also allow us to view most of the attractive places, bus attendants are helpful and polite.

There are three routes per day for travelers to choose, we managed to go blue & purple line within 24hours, I would strongly advise a well time planning is essential for you to finish all routes.

The disadvantage of the bus route is the bus didn't stop in front of the tourist places, e.g. Sensoji temple (Asakusa line) & Tsukiji fish market. There are about 10min walking distance, as I said, this is our first time in Tokyo, I need to remember where the bus stop is, so that I can find it after visiting the tourist places.

Besides, this is good to have Multilingual Audio Guide in English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese. However, the audio guide will suddenly switch to next introduction before ending the current one. I think this need improvement so that complete information is provided as described

We enjoyed a second wonderful day on our visit to Japan with our guide Taiji. After a very long day visiting Mt. Fuji, we embarked on a city tour of Tokyo by planning a more leisurely pace. Starting the day by introducing Taiji to his first "Costco experience" was a fun and relaxing way to wind down from the previous day, then we quickly got back into busy mode for the rest of the day until dinnertime. Taiji adjusted quickly on the fly to our fickle plans but managed to combine great food, sightseeing, and shopping into one full and memorable day, including extra trips back to our place to drop off some of our shopping bags! Thank you so much again for showing us a great time in Tokyo, Taiji. We will certainly be back soon!

We had a fabulous time with our guide Taiji. Not only did we luck out in mid December with nearly perfect weather that afforded us with gorgeous views everywhere of Mt. Fuji, but Taiji was able to recommend some great sightseeing as well as shopping spots to us. The highlights included an amazing visit to the kimono museum that Taiji recommended to us that included a magnificent tea room, as well as a fantastic local lunch spot that also included an amazing photo gallery upstairs with one-of-a-kind shots of Mt. Fuji. What an utterly memorable and unforgettable experience! Thank you for all of your hard work and wonderful guidance, Taiji!

The Ninja Village is a boring place with no activity. First thought of the place is a Theme Park exploring attraction. Nothing to experience with, just a young girl with Facebook frame posing as Ninja. The lunch is interesting though, but many tourists wasted food.
The trip ends after a brief site visit of Mount Fuji and a food street village. Tour guides rest and everything quiet inside the bus on return trip. No interaction among participants and no group photography session. Everyone minding their own business.

Awesome experience and what an awesome guide we had (Mayumi). The tour was smooth from bus transfer to Mt Fuji etc till we rode back to our hotel via Shinkansen. Won't hesitate to book any tour someday with City Discovery.

I had been longing to experience the "Factory Night View Exploration Cruise" since I saw it on TV, and this time it was the monthly Honmoku-Negishi course.

For 90 minutes, the captain provided commentary while steering the boat. The factory night views I saw for the first time felt like scenes from a near-future movie.

Wearing a life jacket and standing at the bow, seeing the industrial area up close was a culture shock. It was so surreal that I forgot I was in Yokohama.

The boat moved at various speeds, sometimes fast and sometimes slow, which added to the thrill and made it the best experience.

At first, I thought the captain's commentary might be pre-recorded, but I was moved to find out it was all live. The explanations were very easy to understand.

My two friends were also extremely impressed!! As the one who organized it, I felt so proud.

行ってきました！

テレビで観てから憧れていた「工場夜景探検クルーズ」今回は月一度の本牧・根岸コースです。

船長さんが運転をしながら、コースの解説をすること90分。初めて観る工場夜景は、映画で観た近未来の映像のよう。

ライフジャケットを着ながら、船首の上に立ち、工場地帯を近距離から観た時はカルチャーショックを受けました。幻想的で横浜であることを忘れました。

船はスピードがある時や、ゆっくり進む時ありと様々。スリルもありと最高でした。

最初はテープかな？と思っていた船長さんの解説ですが、全て生ライブとわかり感動です。とても分かり易い解説でした。

友人二人も大感激!!
企画した私は鼻高々でした。

I booked this tour hoping my foreign friends would enjoy it. We visited two courses: Asakusa and Odaiba, but the Odaiba course was particularly well-received. The first stop was next to Tokyo Tower. The beautifully lit Tokyo Tower was breathtaking and even for someone living in Japan, it was moving. Since we were on a bus with a transparent upper deck, I was able to take photos of Tokyo Tower from a close-up angle, looking up at it. Additionally, we were lucky enough to see fireworks near the Rainbow Bridge. I wish we could have extended our trip to Roppongi, but there were few buses, so we had to give up. I think the illuminations in Roppongi are beautiful this time of year, so I hope the bus frequency increases a bit. Another issue was that, despite it being Saturday, the service was running on a weekday schedule. According to the staff, they had started running the same schedule all day for a while now. I found out about this on the morning of the tour and had to change my plans, so I felt it would have been helpful if this information was available on the website.

外国人の友達が喜んでくれるといいなと思い、このツアーを予約しました。浅草コースとお台場コースの２つを巡りましたが、特に好評だったのはお台場コースです。まず初めの停留所は東京タワー横。綺麗にライトアップされた東京タワーは圧巻で、日本に住んでいる私にとっても感動的でした。乗車していたのが上がスケルトンになっているタイプのバスだったこともあり、接近して見上げるような角度で東京タワーの写真を撮ることができました。また、偶然にもレインボーブリッジの脇に花火を見ることができ、ラッキーな思いもできました。六本木まで足を伸ばせたら良かったのですが、バスの本数が少なく、断念しました。六本木のライトアップも綺麗な時期だと思うので、もう少し本数が増えれば良いのになぁと思います。また、最も困った点は、土曜日だったにもかかわらず平日ダイヤで運行していたことです。担当の方いはく、少し前から終日同じダイヤで走るようになったとのこと。当日の朝そのことを知り、予定を変えなくてはいけなくなったので、HPの方にも情報が載っていると良かったなと感じました。

The day we rode was very windy, but it felt refreshing! I thoroughly enjoyed it with the guide's polite and lively explanations in the background. I want to ride again!

Mt. Fuji and Hakone tour is great experience in Japan. Super enjoy. The tour guide is knowledgeable to her job interesting no dull moment when we're the way to mt. fuji. The food is too simple but its ok, but the nature that you see can full your eyes wow!!! superb!!!!. Make it sure you bring along your powerbank so you will not miss all the pictures and videos that you want. The only think that we do not want in all our tour is the service way back to our hotel... We are all tired for the whole day tour but we have to go back on our own to our hotel... Should you have a pick up and transfer back to hotel for the comfort of the guest? its a suggestion. The food and transpo is much expensive than other countries. Tokyo Station is much complicated thou there are signages...But overall thanks to City Discovery..we really enjoy the tour...

Loved the tour and the way it was organized. The guide was wonderful and kept us entertained all through out. The lunch was great, and finally the breathtaking views of Mt fuji. We couldnt make it to the 5th station because of the snowfall a few days back, but it didnt dampen the tour at all.
